We had an amazing time on Lake Michigan with AJ! He was so chill yet guided us on the right fishing techniques and of course catching and reeling them in! We had a perfect day and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend and we’ll be going with them again!

AJ was are captain for the afternoon, he put us on fish right out the gate, will definitely be scheduling a trip for next spring we all had a good time.

Storm warning charters out of Burnham harbor Lake Michigan Chicago . Friendly, knowledgeable captain A.J . Put us on the the fish from the time we got to the fishing grounds to the very end . It was indeed a fine day to be fishing with pleasant weather, a nice mix bag of fish, and everyone in the party caught 2 to 3 fish each and lost at least another half dozen between the group .

Brian was a terrific host. Based on a friends recommendation, we booked a morning trip with 3 adults and 2 kids (age 9). Everyone had a terrific time. The boat is in great shape, Brian has a great personality and most importantly…the kids can’t wait to do it again. We caught a number a fish, including many 10 - 15 lbs lake trout. We had a bonus of good weather and calm waves. We highly recommend Brian, and for those with kids, they will have a great time.

What an incredible experience! This is the real deal. My expectations were low going in due to the less than ideal fishing conditions. Low and behold, AJ put us on fish almost immediately. Only problem; how am I going to eat all the salmon fillets?

Outstanding day out on the lake! Captain Brian delivered. Arrived at the harbor at 5:29am, and had lines in the water by 6:15am. First laker in the boat at 6:50am. Steelheads showed up an hour later.Captain Brian is easy-going and personable. He was happy to share his experience and recommendations for landing every fish. Fished with AJ and his brother this past weekend. It was great, we caught a bunch of fish, which they cleaned on the way in. Very knowledgeable, you could tell they both loved fishing and they kept us on fish all day. It was very easy to reserve the boat, the reminder with details on the trip and how to get to the boat and paying via card. Great operation! Me and my family just went out on the charter today and we had a blast captain AJ was super nice an chill and had alot of knowledge and taught us all about the different types of set ups he was using to catch the fish and informed us the proper way to reel them in... all in all I will be coming back soon for sure.

Took an afternoon charter on 6/11/21, AJ was the captain. Had an awesome time, AJ kept us on fish all day. Took down some lakers, coho, and steelhead. Finished the trip with an 18 lb King! Would highly recommend.

Went out for the afternoon 6 hour charter with AJ. Within 30 minutes of being on the water the fish were biting. AJ was fun and knowledgeable of the sport which made our experience great! He offered to take pictures of the group in various scenic backgrounds of the Chicago skyline as well as getting group photos when we were on the fish. Overall 10/10. Highly recommend going with these guys!

Brian was exceptional in what he did for our group.Not only was his demeanor welcoming and professional but he was light hearted and was able to read the crew (half of us were “expert” fishermen and the other half were “newbies.”).Storm Warning was a phenomenal time and insanely affordable. Captain Brian is the best captain! Ive never gone salmon fishing before and Im also new to the angler world, but Captain Brian made me and the group I was with feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire trip. He is very personable and social. Here are just a handful of highlights I would like to share about our experience:- He offered drinks to share: RC for those that needed a little caffeine boost and ginger ale for those that became a little seasick.- Having a bathroom on the boat is a definite plus!- He is helpful yet lets you do your thing.- He lets you pick the music and can even plug in your phone.- Overall, he is a very happy and pleasant person to be around.- He is very knowledgeable about where the fish would be found and placed us right where they were.- It wasnt just catching fish, it was a whole experience.- He really goes above and beyond to give you fun and positive experiences.

We had an AWESOME experience with Captain Brian. It was nice to go on a charter that not only welcomed adults but kids as well and made you feel welcomed and SAFE. I cant say that any of us really had any idea what we were doing, but that was OK because Captain Brian took care of basically everything but reeling in the fish. We got some, we lost some but he never stopped trying to find them. We ended up bringing in 6 (maybe had 10 on) - and the sunset views of the City would have made the trip worthwhile on its own. I would highly recommend this Captain. I have been on other Charters (with Adults) and while we did OK it wasnt as relaxed or fun and I wouldnt ever have taken my kids with. It was an experience they will never forget.

My Family and I had a great time with Captain Brian. I have been on other charters before and it wasn’t as great as the charter with Captain Brian. This was a first for my family but Captain Brian made sure that we where taken care of and enjoyed reeling in quite a few fish and really enjoyed the views. We where even able to bring my younger brother on board so he could enjoy the experience which was great! We did not feel worried at all being with Captain Brian. The views, experience, and fun atmosphere with Captain Brian made the trip a memorable one!

Captain Brian is hands-down simply the best.My mom, who is from Okinawa, Japan, was not allowed to fish as a kid. It was the mans job to do this task since island culture emphasizes strict patriarchal tradition. Of course my mom always wanted to catch a whopper. My family and I had an amazing day with Storm Warning Fishing Charters. Brian (and Brian) were incredibly professional in acomodating a last minute request to spend the day fishing on Lake Michigan—a first for our family. The boat was extremely clean and an ideal size for our group of 5 with all the preperations for a day out on the lake. Brian gave us all the safety information required before we left the 31st marina and prepped the kids on what the expect for the afternoon. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day on the water and (as luck would have it) we snagged some pretty sizable fish including a 21 pound trout. We all had a blast and hope to get back on the water next time we are in Chicago. After living in Chicago for more than 40 years it was my first time really out on the water beyond the beach—Lake Michigan is such a treasure.
