We had an awesome fun time riding along the lakeshore trail on the rental single bike with a 3year old. Lady named Laney helped us get familiar with bike and safety stuff and was very nice. John helped us at the rental station and also suggested good routes for ride. both people working there are excellent customer oriented and make sure you have a pleasant experience. Thank you. will visit again more often.
We rented a surrey for a pleasant ride on great lakeshore views on a hot summer day. The staff were helpful. Equipment seemed well maintained. Bike paths were crowded but people navigated around us safely.
Foster beach is a nice beach that gets densely populated at times, it doesnt feel safe leaving your car keys in a bag at the beach while you plan on swimming carefree. So when I asked Molly if she can put my keys aside safely inside their hut, she was more than happy to do so, she was super nice 🙂Next day I was back at the beach for a swim, this time around another employee named Jack (or maybe Jake? Im bad with names lol) assured me he would keep my keys safely for me. I wasnt their customer, just a random beach go_er. Thanks yall were awesome 😎.P.s. If u plan to do this. Give like $5 bucks to the person setting ur keys aside for u. Theyre potentially saving you 100s maybe even thousands + unimaginable headaches of having ur stuff lost or car stolenWelcome to Chicago lol
This place is ridiculous! The website says last rental goes out at 7:21pm. We arrived around 6:40. They said we were closed at 6:30. I showed the webpage to them. They simply said it’s must be wrong. What a joke! Why you don’t you update it? I would flag this place as a scam! We ended up paid the parking and did nothing.
Wrong information on website. They closed earlier than it said so on website. We already paid for $6 parking fee and we had nothing. Terrible.
Don’t rely on website dates/times for openings. Drove all the way to Foster Beach to find them closed when the website stated otherwise.
Bicycles are ILLEGAL in Chicago proper! It is ILLEGAL under Chicago city law to operate a bicycle within the city. You can NOT ride on the street, you can NOT ride in the alley, and you can NOT ride on the sidewalk.
I rented a bike this summer and they were very kind and accommodating. They have helmets to give as well.
We had a fun time riding bikes. The employee was helpful, the bikes needed to be oiled each of the bikes were difficult to pedal. We still had a great time.
Fun ride. Beyond a certain point becomes tricky to pedal due to sloped hill and construction headed toward Navy Pier area. great people watching
I walked all the way to find the business closed. The website says it opens at 9am beginning of July, please update your hours. It’s really irrespecutful...
Helpful employee. Bike was in great condition.
Got a groupon for this place! It was fun. Staff was great!
Horrible bikes. They are not maintained and many of them are not functioning properly. The person behind the desk did not seem to care. Find somewhere else to rent from.
Easy to engage
Great bikes to rent
