Ive had my haircut here twice and both times I’ve gotten an great haircut! The barbers are nice and professional, and 22 for a haircut is a great price; honestly the haircuts I’ve gotten are worth more than that.

Its a very good place to get a haircut, especially during these times. I highly suggest that you call the barber shop and schedule an appointment for fast service and continuous social distancing during the pandemic. Even if the pandemic ends, its recommended that you make an appointment.

Called in advance for an opening. Edwin did a great job. I’m happy to have finally found my own neighborhood barber that I can trust.

No one talks to you. No one says Hi so you cannot get an appointment. Maybe you need to know someone to get an appointment or to have someone talk to you.

This salon is unpretentious, clean and punctual. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Theyre not cheap, but its worth the price since they do excellent work.

I been going to this shop for 4 years during my business trips to Chicago. Now that I live in Illinois, i don’t go anywhere but to Jayuya. I don’t even need to tell Tito what I want. He fixes me up right away to look decent. I recommend people to not only go but to call and make an appointment because Fridays and Saturdays gets full.

As a man the best attribute to have is a freshly done hair cut. Every barber in there is highly skilled and great at what they do. If your barber is booked, anybody else can cut your hair and have it the way you like it! They also did a version of the Harlem Shake that was pretty sweet... If you want to get a haircut that makes you look as good as you feel this is the place for you...

Nice shop. Just can’t seemto find a regular barber here.. both barbers I went to no longer cut at the shop, I’m assuming** . Then trying to get a cut on Saturday seems impossible with only 4 barbers & two of them already booked and turning down walkins at 2pm. I tried to give this place a good shot, but I just walked down the street and got a cut.

Franchise Haircut places like supercuts, etc. do not know how to cut Latino Mens hair, they think one pass with the clippers is enough and one time they wanted to use the clippers on the top of my head (No way! I like to have finger length cut with scissors!). Thankfullly I found Jayuya. They take their time and make sure your haircut looks fresh and perfect. I have had about 3 different barbers and they are all very skilled. They use a razor around your neck area too. I definitely recommend it!

Told tbd barber Blanco I wanted my hair lined and trimmed. He took my hair line back too far. Then left when he noticed I was unhappy with my hair. He showed no sympathy to his mistake. I had to request to speak to the owner. Nothing was done to compensate my failed hair cut. Take a look at his work. The black outline is where my hair was.

Ive gotten cds from this place, I learned how to play guitar here, oh and I used to get haircuts here too. Local business is important to communities and this Barber shop has proved this. And its still standing. Go figure

Being new to the Humboldt Park area, i needed to find a place to get.my hair cut. Google suggested Jayuya. Walked in and with in one minute, the haircut began. Tito was awesome and listened to how i wanted my hair, and it came out great! When I sat down with him, I asked if they accepted cards, and was advised cash only. He had me get my hair cut, before I went to an ATM! Putting the customore first! Very imoressive. Will be back! Two negative thoughts, very loud inside, as there was a domino game going on. Im hard of hearing anyway, but made communication very hard. Secondly, using a dry razor to shave, my neck still hurts over an hour later.
