I had my bridal shower here in July and it was amazing! I worked with Orla and she made sure every detail was taken care of. My mom and I spoke with her several times. She was amazing at answering out questions and making adjustments.We had a date set from last year, but postponed due to covid. I was able to choose a new date easily and given information along the way.On the day of the shower, Orla, Blanca, and her staff were amazing and very attentive to myself and my guests. The food was amazing, the venue was clean, and set up perfectly. I will definitely be coming to have more events here!

We looked at several places around Chicago to host our wedding which was originally scheduled back in 2020. Biagio and their staff were great to work with and really provided the venue and value we were looking to find. Tracy was great helping us navigate through the process even the year long postponement because of Covid. When we were finally able to have our wedding it was nothing short of amazing. They paid attention to every little detail with nothing overlooked. We specially wanted our wedding to be masculine yet elegant and their venue was exactly what we wanted.Our guest still havent quit raving about the wedding and the food. We opted for the action stations and it was great. The stations offered our guests the option of picking what they wanted to eat without having to do it 6 months in advance.If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming wedding you should check out Biagio. They are your one stop shop and your expectations will be exceeded.

Our daughters wedding was here. It was beyond wonderful! The staff was amazing, took care of our every need and thought about stuff we didn’t even know we needed. Food, service, cocktails and everything in between got rave reviews from our guests. A special shout out to the event coordinator Tracy. Space is very nice. Food only so so. Small portions for price. Bar is horrible. They actually throttle the service. If too many people are being served then one of the two bartenders disappear to get ice for 15 minutes to limit the number of drinks served if given a choice, do not pay for bar. One guest paid $12.50 per drink because lines so long

We had our wedding here August of 2018. The venue was beautiful and very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean which is very important to me.

Your staff has been nothing but sweet and helpful throughout this whole process.This has not been the best year for many, but our wedding coordinator, Tracy did a remarkable job! She addressed any questions or concerns I had and made sure we were all on the same page. Tracy definitely kept me calm in moments of stress. I will not leave out the host and servers, that made everything flow so smoothly. Blanca was very attentive during dinner and the reception. She made sure our needs were met and we were well taken care of. We recieved so many compliments from guest on how delicious dinner was.Overall our experience was memorable with Biagio! We had our baby shower there on Sunday and with Covid still going on Tracy made it very accommodating. We loved the space and the rustic wooden vibe, the staff was super friendly and attentive. The brunch buffet we chose was delicious! It was very clean including the bathrooms. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with choosing a local place to celebrate our first baby shower! We would definitely book another event with Biagio in the future!

Service Food was amazing

My husband and I got married here this past Saturday! Everything was beautiful and anything and everything I could have ever dreamed of. Tracy, Blanca, and the rest of the Biagio staff far exceeded our expectations. On a side note, we booked our wedding 6 weeks out which was stressful (especially booking during COVID and changing to here from a different venue) but Tracy, the event coordinator was fantastic and made everything super easy. The food was phenomenal, and all my guests were loving it!

It is a nice venue . However, the wait staff served cold food. The salad was good but not attractively presented. It lacked color and was quite small, even for a dinner salad. The green beans were quite good and warm. The beef and chicken had good flavor but were cold. Bar service was quite good and accommodating. Physical environment was quite nice and valet service prompt and courteous. Hall was large and dance floor ample. Not expecting hot food, but warm would have made a big difference.

Amazing, & FriendlyOur wedding day was amazing thanks to Tracy and her amazing team from the bartender to the people that served our food they worked hard making sure everything was perfect. Tracy was amazing from the moment i started planning our special day, she always kept in touch making sure everything was going well, and the day of the wedding she didnt go home until she checked that we were taken care off and also called us the next day to check how everything went. All i can say is Thank you Tracy & staff for your hard work and I Love the Michelle room. I love the rustic look. 😍😍

Food is Amazing!

Had my mothers 70th birthday here a few weeks ago. Also had my baby shower a few years ago. Great experience from start to finish!!! Service was exceptional! Staff follwed all covid guidlines. Tracy was extremely accomodating when I wanted to tweak the menu and emailed her a million times with my questions. The rooms are gorgeous and the guest enjoyed the food and REALLY enjoyed the event!

I was married here 10/7/17! My wedding was actually taking place at different banquet. I received a call a few weeks before my wedding, that I would have to find a new venue- due to a running marathon downtown Chicago. My planner had done work at Biagio and ensured me this was the place. I meet Kim and booked the ceremony to take place in one of the room. Due to my funds being with other banquet and not released yet- I had a brunch ceremony and sit down reception at different location. Overall the room was beautiful and my guest loved the decor of the area. We’re planning a 5 year renewal next year- maybe we will go back to Biagio. Our experience was great!

Was at banquet for charity event. Great room, very rustic, casual--perfect for this casual event. Buffet, pasta very good, pizza was just ok. Nice service. Decent parking, 2 lots and valet.

Service fast and friendly. Checked on tables often. Lovely rooms for gathering. Valet service and even coat checking. All employees helpful and friendly. Food good.

Biagos made our wedding experience seamless and amazing! During the months leading up to the wedding we were in contact with Tracy, our coordinator; who was also amazing. She was always there to quickly respond to all our emails and give helpful friendly advice for everything. The best part of our wedding day, was that we didnt worry about anything. Tracy made sure our wedding day would be magical and it was!The venue itself, was beautiful (one of the reasons why we selected Biagio) and staff was super friendly and accommodating. It was an incredible feeling knowing that we can relax and enjoy our day. Thank you Tracy and Biagio for making our wedding a night to remember!

We had a great experience working with Tracy. She was very helpful and did a great job of making sure everything was taken care of. She was very accommodating to our family (who were also in the wedding party + our florist) to make sure they had the time to get everything ready ahead of time. Biagios food was delicious -- we only heard rave reviews. The space was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for -- at a price we could afford.

Well kept clean banquet hall. Staff is friendly and efficient.The valet guys could use some clear identifiable clothing instead of the street gear they were wearing.But otherwise a great venue for weddings, birthday parties, celebrations, etc...Even ran into Secretary of state Mr. Jesse White.

Attended a friends wedding here. Overall very nice facility with multiple event rooms. The Caroline room was perfect for the smallish wedding. And food was really good (Italian family style).

Very nice banquet rooms. Had Easter brunch there and only complaint was the food in the large serving containers was not hot enough. Other than that, the rooms was clean, well lit and the servers were neat, efficient, friendly and always available to help out.

Nice. But THEY SHUT THE BAR DOWN BEFORE 1AM even though contracted to stay open till 1am. Also I think the bartender lied when he told us bar was open bar only during orderves and dinner. I think this made a lot of people not drink a lot. The management had to be shown the contract to open the bar back up. Otherwise, It was a perfect event location to attend. Just understand what youre getting.

A staple to the Jefferson Park in Portage Park neighborhood. After evaluating a few other places I wanted to check out the new renovated Biagio. My first appointment with Stephanie was prompt and informative. Working with her and the staff we decided to book and were able to plan a magical experience within our budget in less than 3 months. Stephanie has never failed to communicate and made my wedding stress free. Stephanie went above and beyond my expectations and Im considering making my future events with her. My husband and I truly felt like we had an event planner who turned into a friend.

I had my bridal shower at the Biagio last weekend, and it was an amazing experience!!! Many of my guests were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the space was. Working with Kim and her team was a delight. They made all my nerves disappear and I was able to enjoy the event. I will definitely host future events there.

My husband and I got married at the Biagio on 6/15/19. I cannot fully put into words how amazing our big day was. To start with, we had the best wedding coordinator! Tracy was so helpful throughout the whole process. Whenever we had questions, she always responded immediately and was always so kind. Talking to her was so easy and we always shared so many laughs. Tracy made sure our room was set up exactly how we wanted it and took away the stress that comes with the last minute details. Next, the room was beyond gorgeous! We used the Caroline and Michelle rustic rooms. The exposed brick and wood beams were exactly what we wanted. All of our guests were so in love with the room just as we were. Last but not least, the food was beyond delicious. I have received so many compliments about how incredible the food tasted. It was the talk of the day! The vodka sauce pasta was by far a whole group favorite that people are still talking about. I could go on and on about how amazing Biagio is. We couldn’t imagine anything else for our day. From Tracy being super attentive to our every need and the beautiful room and amazing food, it truly was a dream and I am still so blown away by how perfect everything was. Thank you, Biagio! We definitely will be recommending you guys to everyone we know!

We recently held our wedding here in the beginning of the month. I cant tell you how impressed I was with the whole process. Stephanie was our event coordinator and walked us through the process from beginning to end. She went above and beyond. She is was very attentive, approachable, and knowledgeable of how things flow. The staff was also excellant. When we went in for our food tasting they gave us recommendations on food choices and let me tell you all my guest were happy with the food choices. Everything on my special day was perfect.

Typical banquet hall with typical food and atmosphere. The fried chicken was delicious, the beef looked good on the plate but was chewy. Bartender wasnt very friendly.

Went to very crowded fundraiser. The food was delicious and the staff did an excellent job of refilling the food and clearing away dirty dishes. The only suggestion would be to have had a second bar. The bar line was painful.

Orla was our wedding coordinator she is the best with her great customer service and being very attentive making sure we had whatever we needed/wanted!!! This place is impeccable. I totally recommend Biagio’s for any event you need. We had the Carolina room and The staff was great as far as fast cleanup and just the whole overall experience was beautiful . I cannot thank Orla enough for being patient and making this whole wedding experience a GREAT one. I’d give you a 10 star rating if they had it 😃

Omg, this is my second time having them cater food for us... YUMMMM! Their food is beyond amazing and there is always plenty of food left over (always perfect for the next day) I swear by this place, plus great breakfast options in the morning!

I have never been treated with such disrespect, contempt, condescension and apathy anywhere else in my life. As a member of the groomsmans party, I treated with pure, unbridled disdain from the smug and aggressive valets and then further insulted by the vacuousness of the venue manager.This all culminated in me not attending the reception of friends wedding because I will not, and cannot condone being treated like a second-class citizen.I would avoid this venue at all costs if you have any self-respect or dignity that you wish to hold onto.

It was nice but i could hear the other parties musics from the other side which was disturbing. The food was okay. The one thing that bothered us the most was that someone kept on looking through the kitchen door the whole time and wouldn’t stop.

I liked this place, its decorated nicely, Food is pretty good & people & service was great. They have A parking lot or you can park on street.

My husband and I were married this summer and the experience that we had at Biagios was more than perfect - not a single thing went wrong or was unexpected! Our coordinator was Tracy, and believe me - there was no task too big or small for her. She not only helped us plan the perfect wedding, but she stayed the entire night to make sure that every little detail went according to plan. My guests raved about how hot and delicious the food was - its not something you expect at a wedding. The decorations were absolutely gorgeous and when I first saw the room, I thought I would faint. They worked wonderfully with every single one of my vendors and they accommodated every wish. When I was searching for a place to have our wedding, I seriously looked at almost 100 venues. Every place told me No. on some item that I wanted. Biagios just said Yes! Yes! Yes! The price was cheaper (by a lot) than every single place I looked at - and what you get for your money is out of this world. At first, we didnt want to have our wedding at a banquet hall, because most of them all look the same. However, Biagios style is top notch, and the room we choose with the exposed brick and hardwood floors looked better than the pricey downtown lofts we had looked at before. Its now 4 months later, and hardly a day goes by where someone doesnt mention how awesome my wedding was. Its such a great feeling. Thank you Biagios!

I tried the food at a corporate event. The Guacamole and Pico de Gallo Salsa were DELICIOUS.At the next family event I hosted (I have a huge extended family), I promised myself to order the guac & pico from Biagio. What a terrific experience -- Im so glad I did. Everyone was raving about the food; the tortilla chips were even great (salty, crunchy and fresh...not oily at all).Tracy was so accommodating and even opened up the business an hour early for our convenience. The whole experience was terrific.

My family decided to celebrate our Christmas here only because Cucina Biagio on Lawrence was too small for us. This location had a spacious room to fit us all and thought hm the food is good at the other location, it’s a guarantee for this one here right. WRONG. There were so many things that went wrong and I really regret celebrating my Christmas here. The roast beef was bland and pink! Close to raw even and was barely touched. The chicken was cold and the breading on it tasted off. The pasta was okay but really, cold food? We pay $50 a person and get cold food? Food that was not even good so the $50 was definitely not worth it at all since we did not get to eat what we wanted to!! Not only that but the waiter we had was giving us attitude. We would ask for a refill on drinks and he would just stand there and look at us with a “are you kidding face”. Once he responded he walks away and we all see him shake his head left to right as if were not supposed to be asking for something to drink? I even asked for cheese for my pasta and he left the cheese on his black serving plate and walked away. I remember feeling so angry at the fact that this is just too much and I lost my appetite over all. We all can tell he was getting fustrated and my dad would just give him a thumbs up and we just felt bad for even asking for WHAT WE WANT. Customers shouldn’t have to feel like this. First off, if your serving plates were bigger we wouldn’t be asking you to keep coming back for seconds. The first round of food the plates were big. But seconds were so small that it can feed 2 people in a 8 person table. We come here to eat and it’s your job to serve us. If you don’t like that, you should get another job buddy! The last plate of chicken that he served us was cold and the only two people who ate it got food poisoning!!!! Coincidence? I don’t think so. The 1st and 2nd rounds of food everyone ate including myself and I did not get sick. But the final round of chicken that he served which no one ate in my table because it was either too salty or just not good but for these two people who did eat it got sick and these two people even said it was cold and tasted off. If this waiter had done something to our food shame on him. Karma is coming and I hope it hits him hard. I’m highly disappointed, I will never ever eat here again. Biagio you’ve lost a room full of over 60 customers this night. I hope my review sticks out like a sore thumb so some of you can save your own holidays elsewhere
