I had a blast last night at this place! Besides the show which made our night interesting, the food was really good. Although it is overpriced, I have to admit it is good. Also, be aware that the gratuity fee is included in the bill. All in all, interesting place to visit and see some new things. Recommend!

Ive been coming here for years and it is definitely one of the coolest venues in the city. It is HUGE and beautiful with multiple areas to lounge and dine all over the venue. It really is a palace. They always have great DJs and entertainment. I used to go on Tuesdays for salsa nights and recently I was there for a bottomless mimosa lunch and it was one of the most fun things Ive done in awhile. They host concerts and all types of cool events. Definitely go to their pages and check out their calendar. They also have valet parking and outdoor seating.

We went close to opening time which meant we had the place to our selves. Only thing is all the workers are still preparing for the night crowd, by setting up, having staff meetings, fixings the lighting and tables and sometimes I felt like an afterthought. The ambience was on point but the food was not as good as Id thought considering the price. The drink was very small also even for the discounted early price. I did feel sick later. I cant deny or confirm it was from the food there.

Here is why I am giving a 1 star. First I order online to get food and get an email confirmation to pick up the food. When I arrive they let me know they do not do take out. I showed them they are still showing up online and offering menu and services through many of the togo services. I was offered to call in and do an order another time. I called in the next day and was told they can not make food for me to pick it up and take home because of a private event? Food is good.....customer service terrible. A customer wants to buy your product....... and I used to host events pre covid at this place.....but guess I will take my events and other business elsewhere. Any other restaurants want my business and events? Please let me know. Thanks

Very beautiful place. Went for a wedding party. Had about 20 people. The food was presented beautifully. It was so flavorful. The decor is worth seeing alone. The show was fantastic. I found not 1 single thing that was a negative. And thank you to Alhambra for getting such a large party in on such short notice and allowing us to change the reservation time because of picture scheduling.

First time visit! Wow, what an experience. Kuddos to the owners of this establishment! We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary all weekend. We ended with brunch at Alhambra Palace. Nice buffet and endless mimosas! The atmosphere was as if the party was still going on. Our party really enjoyed ourselves and each other. This is definitely a must visit again. We purchased tickets on Eventbrite and Alhambras made it worth every penny! Thank you

Wow..where do I start.First, dont come here. Its like walking into a third world mud hut. Absolutely dirty and disgusting. They do not have a dishwasher, they do not sanitize. Horrible experience and terrible service. This was mine and my fiancés Bachelor/Bachelorette party and decided to have dinner at this place. Everyone in our party disliked the food and we were the last to arrive and it took them 1 hour to ask us if we need anything,we said yes and they said they needed at least one hour to prepare everything. I wouldnt recommend this place and definitely not going back

Music was great and the performers were great but the service was awful. I used to be a sever myself so I know how hard it can be-But this guy was totally focused on his friends and ignored us. Brought our food late and gave the other app away to another table and had to remake it (having us wait over 30 minutes for it). Not only that but he charged us for drinks we prepaid at the bar and had brought to the table. I’d give 5 stars for the performers but the waiter needs more training.

Don’t believe the hype! I went here for the advertised brunch the price is $40. It’s so not worth it. The only thing on the menu was sausages, undercooked bacon, chicken tenders, powdered eggs that was overcooked, potatoes, waffles and fresh fruit. They ran out of plastic plates shortly after opening. We had to use a flimsy paper plate. They are slow bringing out food. They ran out of waffles to soon. The servers are RUDE( the ones serving the food). The orange juice is has a nasty after taste. The champagne has a twist cap not a cork!To get your moneys worth you better drink lots of champagne.Aside from the the place is beautiful, the Dj was great!! It’s a big day time party.DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT come here for brunch.

Horrible experience. The place is massive and there were only 3 servers. We ordered lentil soup and baba ganoush to start. The soup was cold & unidentifiable. The food was overpriced. The meat was overcooked, dry and little to no seasoning. We had a 7pm reservation but was not notified seating doesnt begin until 7:30pm. As we ate we wondered when the show would startWe finally were made aware it does start until 9:45pm. After waiting to be seated and eating we were too tired to stay. We called to confirm they have live show but was not made aware its not until 9:45pm. We often had to search for out waiter. After receiving the bill we realize service was sub par because they receive automatic gratuity. Needless to say it is highly unlikely that my family and I will returnWebsites gives no details about the start time for the show and seating

The 2 stars was because the dj and people were entertaining. We went for brunch on Sunday that was $50 but they served us food like we were at a homeless shelter and honestly I’ve seen the shelters eat better. The Cheapest J. Roget champagne for $50/ ticket!!! It was from 12-2 and By 1pm the food was basically gone, except for Tons of sausage that did not look edible. THEY SERVED US ON PAPER PLATES!!!!! Do I really need to say more?? My other complaint about this place is it seems that they don’t support their black customers. I haven’t seen ONE black person on their social media pages but the people that I know that have had parties here are all black people. Where are the videos and pictures from those parties????????

I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO EAT HERE !! Over priced for the food, low quality for what they actually serve you, and terrible service. We ordered the Alhambra platter for $60 dollars and what a disappointment!!! The chicken was good but the beef kofta and the beef chunks were terrible! It tasted as if they dumped of dry seasonings (over seasoned) and no salt. To make things worse the waiter forgot to bring us our side dish! The hummus tasted bland; no salt, no lemon. Just tahini and hummus! Toward the end of the night it took us an hour of chasing over our waiter and him trying to figure out who ordered what food from our party to bring us the check just so we can leave. Why would anyone have to chase over the waiter to pay for the food? Spent $200 for mediocre food and service, never coming back again.

Save your money and time and go elsewhere. Our experience was not good at all. Servers were disorganized, didnt know the menu, food took forever, way overpriced, and missing items from our platter which we had to request 2times to get them which was in the initial price too. Fattoush salad was soggy, no pita, and for the amount of money paid it was a handful of lettuce. The meat was also dry on our platter. Now I understand why it wasnt busy on a Saturday night. Never again.

I have no idea why this place is advertising a Sunday brunch Downtown Chicago on EventBrite for $40 with unlimited mimosas 12-2:30pm and after party until 5 as if this is something classy. The food was eggo waffles cut in half, cold and hard, cheap chicken tenders, thin bacon, fruit already prepared on a paper saucer, frozen potatoes out of a bag, small danishes that were also obviously prepackaged as well. For the money we paid it was worse than a bad hotels continental breakfast. The music was loud ghetto and distasteful. It reminded me of an after party of college aged students who didnt go home after the club. It is truly deceitful for the $55 paid plus the $15 valet. Im so glad I did not have my mom, sisters or other women I love and respect with me.

Nice ambiance with varied people, the restaurant is Mediterranean style trying to bring a touch of palace feel to it. The food was typical middle Eastern taste and was good, and the waiting staff was good as well. The show was entertaining, it included belly dancing, and other circle type performances. If you are celebrating something, they call you on stage and chat with you to make you feel good. Parking is the worse thing, we went on a week end, so there was no street parking spots to be found, however, they have a valet service for $12 dollars that you can use.

So before going here I read the review and still decided to give it a try because I wanted to experience it atleast one time! Performances were great. Food was tasty—-however, EXTREMELY overpriced for such small portions. We ended up spending $320 and still left hungry.. The service was TERRIBLE so we didn’t tip at all. We had to get up and look for the server multiple times. He still overlooked us and many other tables. So the other review were correct after all.Whoever the owner is—if you see this review, you’re losing customers by the day when you have a lot to offer! You could use my marketing/business consulting services. Lots of potential being wasted, very sad. Overall, I give 2 stars for the food being tasty and drinks being good.

When we were craving for Middle East dishes and were new to Chicago area, Alhambra Palace stood out as a famous place for Lebanese food. So that, we decided to give this place a try for lunch. We stopped by and place a take-out order at around 12 p.m. on a Saturday. There was no other customer but us. We ordered a dish of Koubideh with rice, Lamb Shank, and Hummus with pita bread. The food looked quite decent, honestly. But the taste was below average. I supposed we were the first customers of the day so that we got the leftover rice from the day before. The rice was dried. The kabob, a combination of ground beef and lamb and herbs as they said, was bland, harsh, and lack of juicy. The lamb shank was overly sweet, somehow. The lamb shank and the bulgur wheat did not make a right combination as a whole. I had no idea why they had not given us the lamb shank gravy, the best thing about it. The hummus and pita bread were pretty luscious, but they are not the best I have ever had. The price was pretty pricey. Three items cost us a total of $65. Overall, it is very likely to find better Middle East food with a more reasonable price elsewhere.

I asked the server to bring over 3 margaritas, when I asked him how much for the drinks he said $61.00 and that included the 20% gratuity that was automatically added to the bill.
