Steven Bernard was amazing at Napleton’s!! My wife and I went to multiple dealerships trying to find her dream car which was a Jeep Wrangler! Those cars are pricey and we wanted to make sure our monthly payments would be affordable with our other bills and we had good insurance with low mileage on the car. Not only did he fulfill all of our needs but he went above and beyond to get it even lower than we thought it would be. He was super friendly and personable and actually had amazing conversation. Me and my wife are younger in our mid twenties and have never brought a car and didn’t understand anything on how to go about it. Steve took the time to explain everything throughly and over again if we didn’t quite understand the first time. I bought a car here yesterday and I am very sad. The car is nice but the dealer Raul make me believe that will find a nice car for a fair price but at the end when you finally finish all the process to buy the car, hours after, with the financial manager that speak fast so you cannot understand well everything. After signed a lot of paper and got home I was checking the price and discovered that I paid more for extra things that they did in the contract. I feel disrespected because I feel like abuse my weakness because I just moved for the country and don’t understand well this process and my husband is senior. I will never come back to this store again.

I LOVE their service department. I’ve had bad experiences at other dealers with their service team always trying to sell me unnecessary things or talk down to me because I don’t know about cars. But both times I’ve been to this service department I worked with different gentlemen and they were always honest, to the point, and extremely nice. I was very anti dealer when it came to service and oil changes and such but I’m very comfortable coming here and will continue to do so while I live in the city.
As a first time car buyer, I didnt know what to expect of the purchasing process. I had an idea of what car I wanted, along with some of the other basics but was lost on all the rest. From the moment I walked in, Martin Vega, one of the sales consultants heard me out about my wants then continued to show me some great options. After taking a 15 minute test drive, I felt so confident in making my first purchase because of all the information Martin provided me with. He was outstanding and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new vehicle! His patience and expertise shouldnt go unnoticed!

Service attendant was very helpful. I had made an appointment that had somehow fallen through so they had no record. They went ahead and serviced my vehicle anyway. It was very much appreciated.
I bought a jeep from here. They were super nice and the paperwork went all smooth. But when it came to fixing some of the minor issues like a single clip in the door that’s missing or the blind spot detection system they do not seem to take priority. I’ve had this car for about a month and a half and I’ve been waiting for the part still. I had an appointment to get issue diagnosed but I still had to wait about 30 minutes after my appointment to actually get taken in. Just thought these are important factors.

Wow! What great help after a flop from ‘Cavana’ (which don’t bother with them! Not an easy process with online and delivery!) Josue Cantoran is a very knowledgeable salesman. I knew what type of jeep I was interested in, he wasn’t pushy and showed me the available jeep in my budget. Josue was patient throughout the paperwork process. All my information is on my phone such as insurance, proof of residence, a copy of my drivers license was also saved, he helped me transfer all this to his computer for his records. I’d highly recommend Josue to friends and family that are shopping for a new or used car.

I went to the dealer today to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. It’s was the typical, old school purchase experience. The dealership is trying to charge a premium above MSRP for the new 392 models. They were asking 20k above msrp for the one in the showroom and 10k above msrp to even order one. I called Fields Jeep in Glenview and ordered over the phone with zero mark up. Napleton may fool some people into paying ransom for higher demand models but the lack of customer orientation will cost them in the long run - especially when their are better options 15 min away.

I had a service appt scheduled for yesterday for my Chrysler Pacifica. This was my 1st time using this dealerships service center. I am a firm believer in 1st impressions. Doug, a service advisor, was very professional, polite and responsive. He kept me updated throughout the day which gave me assurance that imy vehicle and I were properly being taken care of. They kept my vehicle overnight as Doug wanted to ensure that it had a thorough evaluation to make sure all needed repairs were taken care of and to see if my vehicle was in good shape overall. I really appreciated the extra care and attention. I purchased my Pacifica at another dealership and this was my 1st time using another Chrysler dealership for service. I wasnt sure how I would be treated since I didnt purchase my vehicle at this location. I am thankful that I chose this new home for my vehicles service repairs. I picked my vehicle up today and was greatly in a friendly manner by Doug. The repair costs were very reasonable. My vehicle was returned back to me clean and everything was still in place as I left it. Thank you very much Doug for your friendliness and professionalism which gave me much comfort. Worst customer service ever! Made an appointment and showed up and they tell me there is a two hour wait even before anything happens. Some over weight manure digger tells me that’s the way it is. Why make an appointment of you can’t provide service? It’s just bizarre. He tells me we don’t have technicians and I tell him well now you don’t have a customer either! Close up shop and go home! 😅

We’ve been in contact for a while and throughout all of the impossible odds, he was still able to help me drive away in a 2017 4x4 jeep cherokee within my price range. I don’t often write reviews but this is a special case!!If you’re going to shop here I strongly recommend you contact Roger.. he’s the perfect guy to get the job done!
I had the unfortunate experience of being put in a bind and having to purchase a vehicle from Napleton’s Northwestern. While they got my money, the GM (Edgar Moreno) did pretty much everything in his power to make the sale not happen, and make us feel like lowly unvalued customers along the way. We came in on day 1 to purchase a used Caravan, but there was a pending check engine light. In this time, we dealt with a separate Manager (Robert Moore). Even though Robert and I may not have been in complete agreement when it came to the value of the vehicle, he was still very professional, courteous, polite, and respectful. He explained his reasoning for not really being able to move on the price, and said he wanted to have the pending check engine light looked at before he was comfortable selling us the vehicle. This is how I would expect a Manager to act. Enter day 2 when we came to pick up the vehicle. Edgar Moreno took over as Robert was off. In this time, we noted the van had a broken housing on the ceiling that was not broken when we had come in the day before (which likely happened as the porters were cleaning the vehicle to prep it for sale). The car was also missing a spare tire. Additionally, rather than addressing the pending Check Engine Light, they just cleared the light so I could not determine if the potential engine issue was permanent prior to purchase. When I asked how he could address this (either via a concession so I could have the housing fixed, or fixing it in house), Edgar was very cold, and outright rude at times with snide comments that made us feel very unvalued as customers. I was at a point where we were going to walk out on several occasions, but alas, we needed the van. Albeit, the van was on the cheaper end as used vehicle (~$6,000), but that does not give any GM the right to be as disrespectful and unpleasant as Edgar. He made it appear as though he had done us a huge favor by sourcing a spare (which he refused to properly mount in the vehicle for us, mainly out of spite). Upon leaving, the housing for the spare hadn’t even been returned to normal position as it dragged on the road. During our time at this dealership, we witnessed unprofessional behavior as an employee on site was discussing issues with his child and how he would have to bring the child into the dealership or leave early. The porter / tech, who took well over an hour and a half to remove the spare was driving the vehicle around the shop with the spare dragging under / behind the vehicle, attached by the cable. Furthermore, when it came to pricing, Robert initially promised us $500 off the vehicle, but upon purchase, Edgar rounded this amount up to the nearest $100, resulting in a $27 increase in the dealership’s favor. While the amount is inconsequential, it was bothersome from a principle standpoint as Edgar was unwilling to honor their word and was just being petty at that point. When I asked if he was willing to let the deal slip away for $27, he said absolutely. This is not the proper behavior of a GM. I told him repeatedly throughout the process he still had an opportunity to turn this around to have us leave satisfied- he stared at us blankly and was not having it. When we said would have preferred to continue dealing with Robert, he stated that Robert would have had to run everything through him anyway as he was the boss. Add to it the Illinois State maximum in doc fees ($300) that this dealership charges vs. all the other dealerships who were half that (and even willing to waive them for the sale), the extreme delay in prepping the van for sale- it all adds up to an extremely awful car buying experience. Edgar made it abundantly clear that $6,000 for a used car was tantamount to meaningless to him. As such, when the day comes to buy a $40,000 Jeep, this is not the dealership that would earn my sale. I have followed up with Dodge / Chrysler Corporate about this experience, and would hope that if a Napleton actually reads this, they’ll have a little idea of the atmosphere and daily dealings of the dealership under Edgar.
This is a third time I bring my jeep to them thinking they are Profesional and could trust them but everything I bring my vehicle it takes them 7 to 10 days to diagnose the problem and than work on itVery unprofessional people

Napeltons was not the closet dealership to my house, but I recognized the name and decided to have it towed there. The team there went above and beyond my expectations. My car was fixed in a timely manner (actually faster than I expected) and the customer service was excellent. Paul, in service, was on his game and kept me informed of the time line. I also spoke with Martin, in sales, who, despite not even being part of the service team, was a huge help. The Paul and Martin combo were able to make my difficult situation without having a car, pretty easy. I would definitely recommend them and the Napleton crew and will be a repeat customer, whether buying a new car off having my current one serviced. Thanks again, Paul and Martin!

This place is a joke, my husband left bad review for a concern that someone would contact him and general manager name Chris Napleton responded with his email and phone # to reach out to him so he can resolve the issue, we have sent him couple emails and left voicemails but unfortunately hes same like his staff members who doesnt care for customer service and for customers.Kindly dont left a concerning response if you really dont wanna help.

Was shopping for a Jeep Wrangler for my 16 year old and was dreading the whole experience. Stopped here as we were driving by the place on our way to dinner and it couldnt have been an easier, painless car buying experience. Steve B. was very kind, knowledgable and answered all my worried mom type questions. There was absolutely no pressure on us to buy that day but we ended up doing so. Steve and the whole crew worked with us to get us the Jeep features we wanted at the price we could afford. I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Steve B. and Napleton to any of my friends.
I went in 5 months ago and purchased an used 2014 Nissan Altima from Roger as my customer service agent who was awesome. With my credit not being good he worked very hard on making sure I got into something. Unfortunately I had to wait 3 weeks for them to have the car ready. Once I finally got the car the air conditioner wasn’t working(in August) the headlights were out plus a shortage in the taillights. The mechanic said there was nothing he could do about it. A couple of weeks later. The front and back rotors went out. Again nothing they could do about it. 3 weeks ago as I was on the expressway the rear control arm broke. I had it towed to a mechanic ($160.00) to find out what was wrong. I was told that it would cost over $3000 to fix and how the car apparently had been sitting in water so the whole bottom had rusted out. I immediately called Napleton. I was told to call back the next day. I called the next day to speak to a general manager, and was told he was outside shoveling snow. I ended up going in, only to sit there for hours and ended up leaving with a card to call the next day. After 2 weeks of “The Run Around” I was told to have the car towed to them($95.00). Car was there 2 days and was told I had a warranty and the car wasn’t even worth fixing. On the third day I was told they were waiting on someone to contact them from the warranty place. So I called them myself to find out nobody ever contacted them but I could have another licensed mechanic to fix it. Had the car towed again ($100.00) . Okay now the car is at Midas, warranty people contacted, they came to look at the car. Their decision was because the whole bottom had water damage from pre existing causes that they couldn’t cover it. I found out the previous owner had crashed the car but didn’t report it. I ended up reaching out to Chris Napelton numerous times and have yet to speak to him. I feel like I was bamboozeled and I personally wouldn’t buy a skateboard from them. I’m a very patient individual and I rarely get angry or let things bother me. Them people in Napleton really had me off my square. My recommendation is if u get a car from them make sure you take it to a mechanic and get it checked from top to bottom.Definitely A 🍋
