Ive taken my car for a few different repairs at Georges and have had great experiences each time. They always take the time to show me the issues with the car, explain what they are doing on it, and dont try to sell me on things I dont need. Absolutely stellar service! They took great care of my car when my check engine light came on and fixed it before the day was over for a fair price. Even told me I can come back in a few days so they could make sure everything was working well. Khadir was very friendly and helpful while fixing my truck! I brought it in for a few different repairs on a Tuesday afternoon, and needed it back on Friday to use for the weekend. I let him know that I wasnt expecting everything to be fixed by then and could bring it back Monday, but he had everything fixed for a very fair price by Thursday evening! Needed a headlight bulb replaced and an oil change, and they were able to take care of both within two hours of me calling. Khadir was very thoughtful in explaining what contributed to the bulb burnout, and he fixed that issue, too. Highly recommend for fair prices and excellent work!

My car was involved in a hit and run with alignment and body damage =(. I brought it to Georges Auto Repair and it was definitely the best decision! The moment I came in, Khadir was very welcoming, polite, and professional. He was familiar with the whole insurance process and I felt like my car was in good hands the whole time. About 2 weeks ago I was calling places and looking for a place to get my car fixed, to have a new oil pan installed for my honda I came across Georges Automotive Repair on Google, this place had a lot of positive reviews. I called and spoke with the garage ow er Khadir Ghanayem he said to bring the car in so he can take a look. Upon arriving Khadir said he would call me once finished, in no time at all he called and said my car was ready, the price was fair better than most other places, what I was impressed by was the sense of comfort I felt from him,I felt I can really trust him,he got straight to the point and explained everything. Now today Saturday August 21,2021 I am back at Georges with another minor issue and having Georges (Khadir)take care of it. I do recommend any and everyone with a car issue to consider taking there car to Georges Automotive Repair. They are reliable anddo good work. I had a very pleasant experience when I brought my car in for some work — much better than at the dealer! My car’s new brakes feel great and the communication with the mechanic throughout the process was very helpful. I would highly recommend this local gem!

After calling multiple repair shops in the area who were not able to provide pricing or fair pricing on the services I needed done, I spoke on the phone with Khadir and was able to bring in my car the next day without an appointment. Khadir was so helpful and was able to provide me the best pricing for the services I needed done. While waiting, he had me come in the shop to show me the old versus new parts for my car and did not try to sell me any services I did not need. I had an oil change, front and rear differential fluid change, transmission fluid change, and new rotors/brake pads replaced on the car and it was all completed within a day at a fraction of the dealer cost. I was unable to get my car the night before and Khadir even came in on his day off before a holiday weekend. I will definitely be coming back!

My splash guard on my honda fit detached, again. I was referred to Georges and it took no time at all to fix. We called ahead to make sure if I could get in the next day. They were really flexible! I dropped my car off, went for a walk around the neighborhood, and everything was fixed! I asked if it was possible for my husband to get his oil changed same day and they were very accomodating!

Such a huge help to me as my battery died in the snow and couldn’t be jumped successfully. They very quickly toed my car to the shop and replaced the battery in time for my car to be picked up same day. Wonderful service!

Great experience here. Was calling around to get my tailpipe fixed, it had a serious break in it near the muffler. T shop was super helpful on the phone, and very accommodating once I dropped my van off. Quick turnaround, good communication, and the van no longer leaks exhaust and noise! As a women, going to the mechanic can be intimidating. Khadir knows his stuff. He made me feel comfortable and gave me a great price on the job he did ( I know this because I called around after he gave me his price for the job😏). He fixed my baby in a couple days. I second C Laurents review, Khadir is the only guy I trust with my car repairs. Started out with an oil change last summer, then a second oil change, and today I had my axyl replaced, pretty much needed a new front suspension. New front right axyl, front struts, and stabilizer links on both sides, lifetime warranty plus a little oil - all for $1200. It drives like new, and I feel very confident Ill be going back for my rear suspension. Very dependable, and lets you know everything. Quality job.

I took my van to Khadir on a recommendation after I was skeptical of another mechanic telling me I had blown ignition coils. Khadir is friendly, straightforward, trustworthy, and took care of what I needed right away. Turns out the coils were fine, thanks to Khadir. Would recommend Georges to anyone needing their car looked at.

Bought a used car recently and took it here to get everything looked over. There were a couple things they found but I told them my dad would be able to make the repairs since they werent urgent, and they didnt end up charging me anything! So I’ve recently been going through mechanics in google to find one by me, did this with George, super nice guy, but business wise, over priced, and never gives you an invoice of work preformed, been there multiple times, brakes ( 6 months after I replaced them, they weren’t good and to redo them )along with other minor things. a year and half later, same issue 600 (Plus the other issues) down the drain, found another person off reviews and it’s only 330, hopefully my new place isint a place that pays for good reviews....Unless it’s convenient won’t go again

Went in to get an oil change, Khardir took the time to get to know me and my car and help identify some issues and diagnosis some problems I had a feeling about. He had my fluids topped off and even rotated my tires since my front tires were pretty worn out.I prefer the service here to big names because they take every new client personally and that is the type of relationship you want with someone who is helping you keep your car running. Will be back again post-holiday to start fixing problem areas and prolong my Jeep.

Was very thorough, and fast! Also very kind and friendly and took a “I Can” Approach. Went above and beyond with my vehicle with in a timely matter! Highly recommend!

I took my car to George Auto Repair to have my breaks looked at and fixed. I was informed I was going to need more work done than I expect. I am not a mechanic so I trust what they explained I needed to have fix on my vehicle. I explained to the mechanic who was assisting me I will have to bring the car back during the week due to scheduling issues. He informed me not to drive the care due to the breaks not being in good shape, so I did just that. I drove the car home and parked it. I was on my way to take the car back to the shop to be worked on when I notices the tire screws where not properly screwed in (picture attached). George Auto Repair was the last place I took my car and the last place who took all 4 tires off to look at the breaks, I would have driven the vehicle with the possibility of the tire coming off as I would have had to drive on the highway. I took my vehicle to another shop down the street from my house and they also said it would have been UNSAFE for me to drive the car that far due to ALL 4 TIRES NOT PROPERLY being screwed in. I will never take any vehicle back to Georges Auto Repair.

Khadir was incredibly helpful and patient after I crashed my car and filed an insurance claim (my first time). The insurance deemed it a total loss. Khadir said he could not charge me for holding the car because youre my neighbor! So I didnt actually get to test their repair services, but Ill be back if I need them.

Had problems with my clutch but khadir was able to get my car to the shop without charge. Fast and transparent service these guys know what theyre doing! Definitely going back from now on for future services.

INCREDIBLE! I needed help with a valve replacement and oil change, and Khadir & his crew went ABOVE AND BEYOND for a very fair price. It was ready before I ever expected. This was my first time coming to Georges Automotive Repair, and I will definitely be returning for my mechanical needs. My car nearly died on 94. Fortunately I was able to take the ramp and to Georges around the corner, which was a Godsend. He came out, listened to my car and had the hood up and a diagnosis in less than 20 minutes. He was able to fix it the next day and kept in touch with me by text and calls to let me know how it was going and sent photos to show the work being done. His prices are more than fair, does excellent quality work, he explains everything, and I was glad that, if my car were going to brake down, it was near Georges. Repairs are stressful enough, but finding someone reliable and straightforward to turn to at this time is worth its weight in gold. If I need more work, Ill be back. Highly recommended!!

Who gives a mechanic 5 stars, right? Well, this shop earns it! Im sorry we didnt use Georges sooner as we live in the neighborhood. Our older car was acting odd and I thought Id have to have it towed - Khadir came out with another guy and they took it to their shop, diagnosed the issue, gave us a fair price and had it fixed very quickly. When we went in again a few months later for another repair, he gave us an honest assessment and showed us where we should replace some things to make the car good as new. Its now running wonderfully. Well be using Georges for both our cars for all repairs from now on. We feel so happy to have found a great mechanic in our neighborhood no less.

I brought my car in to repair the AC before a road trip and, naturally, it needed way more work than I realized (brakes, battery, tune up -- the works). With the laundry list of repairs, I didnt expect the car back until the following week, so I began to make plans to rent a car. Khadir worked his butt off on a 90 degree Saturday to get my car fixed up in time for my trip so I wouldnt have the added expense of the car rental -- and gave me an impossibly good rate to boot. The high quality of work at Georges is great, but its the considerate, personalized service that will make me a loyal customer as long as I live in the region!

This is the only garage I will trust with my automotive repairs. The team is always friendly and they do the job right. They offer a warranty, but the work is so great, you will never need to call them on it.Recently, my car was stranded on the other side of town. I took a cab home and the next morning, I stopped in to see if they could accommodate my repair. Not only were they able to, but they even arranged to have my car towed for me.These guys are the best in town. I live a few blocks away from the shop read the reviews and gave them a call my car would not start so I asked if they had a tow truck to move my car and the guy on the phone offered to send one of his guys to pull my car with one of their trucks we got the car to the shop around noon and they were done with the car at around 3:30 same day. Reasonable prices and very good costumer service will definitely come back for any other car problems they go above and beyond to keep a costumer happy !

Called on a Saturday morning after having issues with the exhaust system on my 2010 Nissan Versa. Told me to come right in and would get the car looked at. Went in and gave me a fair price on what needed to be done, asked when I needed the car. I asked if dame day was possible and was able to get it by 3pm. Very quick and efficient made sure the car was working perfectly. Called me and updated when they found brakes needed work done and told me new price. Very straightforward. Walked me underneath the car to show the finished work, I was very pleased. Will come back again for future work if needed!

After going to Georges Automotive Repair, I absolutely refuse to take my car anywhere else.I was left stranded on the side of the road after another local shop (Lucas cough Tire cough) screwed up my oil change. The fan was replaced for Ford Fiesta 2011, for $375.00. You can buy a new fan for less than $100 in multiple stores online.

Exceptional service and well run. The quality of the repairs was above what I expected. Out of the many many places I got estimates from, Georges was the only place where the owner seemed to take pride in their work and took time to connect with the customer. The work was done faster than I had imagined (a week faster other estimates), and when it was completed it looked better than when it rolled off the showroom floor a few years ago. The price quoted was the price asked and the level of attention to detail was top notch. I tend to prioritize quality over savings when it comes to car business, but I felt that I walked away with both from here.

Great mechanic. He was straightforward and honest about everything, brought in my 20 year old rust-mobile with a rusted out rear brake line and he told me what it would take to fix my problem, and what it might cost extra if one of the really rusty parts he had to work with ended up breaking. Everything went smoothly and I didnt have to pay that extra cost, but Im glad he had prepared me for it anyway. Brought the car inThursday night, got a call Friday morning before 9AM that he already had it done. The price was on the lower end of what I was told this would cost by another mechanic I know, so I feel pretty confident in saying I wasnt taken advantage of.

I recommend it to everyone that needs car work done.This place is a rare find. Georges shows customers a level of care and respect that is hard to find with mechanics. They do great work. They use high quality parts. And their prices are great, very competitive. A neighborhood mechanic all the way, his clientele is local and come back when they need more work. Definitely recommended for anyone that is looking for a great mechanic.

The team at George’s is great! Speedy and trustworthy. Got a transmission flush on 8/3/18 The only thing that was suggested was an upgraded oil change. They actually said my car was in good shape and nothing else was needed. We will continue to go to George’s. Thanks Kadar!

Khadir and the fellas at the shop were fantastic! They treat you fairly and do great work at a fair price. When my car got permanently put out, they let me keep it there for over a week so I could get all the parts for my new car. I owe them a big THANK YOU! I would give them more stars if I could.
