Came for an oil change around noon. Left my car and my number, they did not call me back. Tried to call multiple times, no one picked up. When I went to the place, I found my car outside and the shop were already closed. Never again. The least they could do is notify the customer, that is my only vehicle and I am now left stranded.

Siggy if you are reading this review-You are da man!! A few days ago I came to Siggy with a piece of junk Toyota Tacoma, and today I walked out of this shop with a car I dont recognize. I mean, when I brought it, people could hear me driving from miles away, now I can actually hear myself talking in the car. Oh, and best of all, my wallet is not drained. Thanks Siggy!!

Had a great experience here. My hood latch was jammed and they took care of it for $80 -- another place told me it would be $400! Works beautifully now. They also did my rear brakes. Service was fast and professional. Ill definitely go back.

From the initial phone conversation to bringing in my car to repair the brakes, the staff at Jerrys were great! The folks here are professional, friendly and helpful. I had new brakes put on and everything is running smoothly weeks later. Reasonable prices and will definitely be returning there when I need to change the brakes again.

Crazy fast, and great service

Only been there once, the first time I had my car serviced in Chicago. Called around to a few well-reviewed places nearby and I couldnt believe it when he told me on the phone what hed charge to replace a serpentine belt complete. It was less than what the next best place charged just for the part. So I brought it in and asked him to give it a basic inspection while he had it (because it had been a while) and I think he added only about 10 bucks to my bill. And he told me it was fine - no problems. This is a car with over 220k miles on it. He could have told me it needed a new engine and I probably would have believed him. Final bill: $80. Now my biggest automotive concern is hell retire before my car dies.

This is a place where establishing trust with customers is paramount.Reasonable prices and they dont try to upsell. Thanks guys.

They are so great to work with, I ALMOST want something to go wrong with my car.

Called today to ask if they could replace the starter or alternator on my work van and the person in the phone said they had to see the car. I let them know that I can’t start the car so if they could give me an estimate before I can tow the van to them and I gave them the year make and model of the car. He said no and said to take my van somewhere else and hung up on me. Such bad customer service that I have never experienced anywhere I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.

Very bad service to be honest with youI came yo have the car looked at for a check engine light and wheel sounds. I am a returning customer and expected better service.When I asked Jerry what did he mean with some technical jargon he said he started yelling at me and telling me read the manual and I am not here to give you a seminar. Bear in mind it was a simple question just to explain what was he planning on doing.He also wanted to charge me 3500 for transmission service. The car cost me 2500 when I bought it used. Transmission repairs are usually expensive but not to this extent.I have taken my business else where and will never be coming back despite having the shop few blocks from where I live and work

I took my 2011 BMW to the Illinois Emissions Testing station and was shocked when I did not pass. My diagnostics cable on my car was loose so I had to get it replaced to pass the emissions test. I first took my car to Perillo BMW and was greeted by the most arrogant service tech I have ever experienced. As a result of this pompous technician I decided to look into other options. I found this little gem in Lincoln Park shortly after and met Jerry. Jerry was upset that someone found a way to damage my diagnostics cable. It was funny that he shared the same frustrations as myself. I honestly felt like I was having someone in my family work on my car. He was so honest and driven to make sure that my car get repaired the right way.Here is the part that made me realize I will not take my car anywhere else going forward. Jerry new I was in a bit of a time crunch to get my car repaired and retested. So when he finished my car, Jerry took my car to the emissions testing place for me, which is a 15-20 minute drive from his shop.I walk in to pick up my car and he tells me he took care of it all. I didnt understand at first. Jerry made this mess of a situation with my car just go away. At the end of all this, he only charged me for 2 hours of labor.I am suggesting Jerry to anyone I know that needs any repairs.

Needed a rear brake job on my Acura. Got an outrageous quote from McGrath for about $650. Jerry laughed as hard as I did when I showed him their quote. He did it for half that! I will be going back to Jerry for any auto work as long as I live in Chicago.
