As a volunteer, I personally see the compassion for animals from everyone involved: the executive director, the fosters, & all the volunteers. They work hard to find the absolute best forever homes for all the animals that they save.

We adore our kitten! The foster mom who had him obviously did an amazing job socializing him prior to our taking him home. He came with the first vet visit and round of shots already completed. The Chicago Pet Rescue representative we worked with was very thorough with the vetting process to ensure our family and household were a good fit for adoption. She spent quite a bit of time with us, discussing care, sharing many, many recommendations and giving us kitten care guidance. To me, this showed she truly holds the best interest of the animals she is placing as the most important thing in the whole adoption process. She wants to make certain they are going to a safe and loving home. I felt really good about that. Shes earned my trust and respect. Highly recommend!

Was very happy to adopt my kitten from Chicago Pet Rescue! They are professional, really go the extra mile for their animals. We love our kitten so much and knowing that he was well taken care of by the people of CPR shows through. I highly recommend and if I adopt again, I will look to use Chicago Pet Rescue!

I had to let my kid go a week ago. Went online to try and adopt a pair of dogs, the picture of a pair of yellow labs, arent even there for adoption, and I just cant quite comprehend why a rescue center wouldnt want to work with someone who has had dogs his whole life, with a huge fenced in yard, that wants to give 2 a forever home. My pitt/lab was 12.

We have fostered 6 different kittens and adopted 2 of the 6. CPR stays in contact about the pets. They offer helpful advice. I would adopt from them again in a heartbeat

I have no words for this home based so they say cat rescue. This is not a rescue this is a place using animals to make money. I would have adopted my third cat from them. First cat is the best. Second cat we found in the O’Hare parking lot and had them rescue him but we wanted to adopt him. They lied and said the cat got along with others and they lied. The cat has been locked in a bedroom since October we love him but he hates other animals and is very umpreudicatabl. We found a baby kitten in our yard that we couldn’t catch so again they came to catch it and we wanted to adopt it but also wanted me to pay the whole adoption fee of 125.00 but it was my responsibility to have the cat fixed? They treat for fleas and ear mites with home remedies again after hearing the kitty was not friendly I decided it may not be a good fit. So my male being lonely I found another one that’s sounded like the perfect fit. But because I didn’t want to get the baby they told me I cannot adopt another cat not knowing anything about my situation. They wanted to make money off me by adopting me a cat that had been cared for with home remedies and unfixed no thank you and this is not looking out for the interest of the cats at all it’s money making. Do NOT adopt from these people. My first cat I adopted from them had worms. They are not treating these animals at all.

Fake service.. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I caught this business picking up puppies and kittens from an Amish van in the parking lot out in at Burlington Coat factory, in Whitestown, Indiana. They buy from puppy and kitty mills to resell to the community in Chicago. I guess its a pipeline from Indiana to Chicago for picking up puppies from puppy mills. They say that they foster animals out for adoption, but thats actually a lie. Just check out their site.. theres no reviews or even stars. That is your first clue that they are frauds. Shame on you Chicago Pet Rescue!!!😠😠😠 Only posted a one-star because it was required in order to leave a review.

Never go here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanted to buy a cat and the total fee was 300.000!!!!!!!! also the cat had lumps on its fur and had WORMS IN ITS MOUTH last it took 30 minutes for the workers to come out and help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
