Reservations were easy and every person I talked to was attentive and super fun and kind! We used Pontarelli for a bunch of transportation throughout our wedding weekend. The experience wasn’t a disaster, but it could have been much better.First, the actual booking process was pretty clunky - there was a ton of back and forth to ensure that we would actually have what we needed. There were several instances where we articulated what was needed, then the quotes / confirmations had the wrong number and type of buses included. If we didn’t take it upon ourselves to follow up and correct things, the day would not have gone smoothly.That said, we made it through that piece and the transportation generally operated smoothly, up until the final part of the night - the ride from the wedding venue to the after party. We had three buses to get guests from Theatre on the Lake to HighLine, a 15 minute trip. Two of the three buses got completely lost, ending up on lower Wacker and taking 45 minutes to an hour to get there. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was literally their one job - to know the route and get to the destination. It was one of the only things that went wrong during the evening and it’s unfortunate because it seems as if it could have been avoided with a bit more (or any) preparation.

Great service. We needed a ride from the airport to our hotel in the city (Chicago) and I had reserved a specific vehicle a few weeks prior. Long story short, there was a mix-up and the vehicle that was sent was not what I had selected. After I got to my hotel, I called and spoke with Victoria who was very polite and she said she would look into the matter. When it came to the bill for the service they were more than fair and made it right. In my opinion that just shows how much the customer experience means to them. Its one thing to always do a good job everytime but where they really shined was how they took care of me when things didnt go as planned. I would recommend and use their service again as I have trust that they have my best interest in mind. Also, our chauffeur Don was great and had a lot of useful information for our weekend trip.

She really knows her business and worked hard to guide me to the right vehicles, with the right timing (many moving parts), which was very helpful since I do not live in Chicago. For the ceremony this past weekend, Don was our driver and as expected, Pontarelli did not disappoint. The vehicle was clean with plexiglass partitions between rows. Don was professional, personable and went above and beyond. My son did not have an exact location for the ceremony, only knew that they wanted the lakefront. Don arrived early and when the couple was not ready, he asked if we minded if he took a ride down to the lake to check it out. Don was back in time and kudos to Don as he secured a much better location than planned! I feel confident that Pontarelli will do a great job for the 2021 reception as well.

I always request black limo services for airports several times a week. Every Month or so I also require party or small passenger vans for our corporate parties. Used these guys three times already and can’t believe they view themselves as professional. Perhaps their business phrase should read, “Overpriced and poor Customer Service.” Save your money and grab a different company. Both times the vehicle smelled like curry and food. Wrappers in the back and crumbs. They even came late and I missed my flight.

The good, their drivers are top notch, stellar, on time (always early), and extremely professional. All of their vehicles are top notch, clean, and look brand new.The only constructive notes we have were regarding the communication, and charges to our credit card. Through the wedding process, the middle and end were a bit of a nightmare where the timely communication was lost - we had to reach out to other people, etc., but found out after the fact it was due to illness. Second, my dads credit card got charged twice for charges that were mistakes. Make sure you watch your statements, and read the fine print on fees if you are x amount of minutes late to the transport vehicle.Also, we didnt get the champagne nor the red carpet service that was advertised and in our contract. It wasnt a big deal in the big picture/scheme of things, but still, when you promise something, deliver... we didnt have security on the vehicles, but were told we would still receive the bottle of champagne - we never got it.Would we use them again? Yes? Were they fairly priced? Yes. Simply use with caution during the process, read the fine print, and watch your credit card statements.Pauline was incredible from the initial email regarding booking our wedding transportation. We actually have been using Pontarelli since high school (my family) for dances, so it’s nice to return full circle to utilize a company with roots to our hometown! Look no further than Pontarelli! We used them this past Saturday for an entire day of shuffling our family around downtown Chicago for our daughters graduation from DePaul. From my first phone call to drop off at our house late that night it was exceptional service. My phone call was answered promptly and my quote given to me within minutes over the phone. I immediately said yes and a contract was emailed to me within minutes. The day before the event I was sent confirmation and the morning of, a text arrived with our drivers phone number and GPS location. This was not an easy day for the driver. He picked us up at our home in the western suburbs, drove us downtown to the Wintrust arena for graduation. Was back to pick us up within 10 minutes of our phone call after the ceremony(quite a feat when you think of the thousands of people exiting graduation). The rest of the night he was where we asked him to be and waiting for us. We never once had to wait for him! We were even an hour late leaving our last stop and he never once complained. He was always waiting with a smile on his face and offering a hand to help people off the bus. That drivers name was Eugene Jones! All I can say to Ponterelli is you are very lucky to have him as a driver. He is the face of your company and he excels at it!!! If youre lucky enough to get him as your driver youve won the lottery!!!!! We have three daughters and if and when they ever get married Ponterelli will be the company Ill call. Pontarelli was absolutely fantastic for our wedding in February. My fiancé (wife) let me lead the charge on transportation, and after doing a little research and quote shopping I decided to move forward with Pontarelli. I worked with Pauline and from the first moment I spoke to her I knew our 150 guests would be in good hands. She was detailed, thorough, asked the right questions, and was extremely accommodative and flexible. We had a somewhat complicated transportation arrangement as we had too many guests for one bus and knew we would have to make at least two trips from our hotel to our venue for our guests. Pauline took care of all the details and even upgraded our second bus to their amazing 35 passenger vehicle (these things are absolutely top notch and what you want your guests to see). We also ordered a limo for the bridal party and the driver and vehicle were both excellent. Would definitely recommend Pontarelli to any future wedding party.
