Worst USPS I’ve ever been to. I mail a lot with eBay and I avoid this place at all costs. Be prepared to wait 30+ minutes for service. I base this on 4 recent visits over the past month. I’m not sure why I expect them to improve…. But, I can take the time to warn others. Seriously, do not go here.

Has to be one of the most consistently underwhelming offices Ive ever dealt with in my life. In the past 15 months weve had 5-6 times where a package was shown as delivered by the driver and yet it disappeared somewhere for days until finally delivered. Each time I made a claim with USPS and was called by the local branch who really didnt seem to care. Theres no leadership, no management, and a general lack of caring from the drivers.My favorite was the delivery of a 3 foot long box that was marked as delivered in mailbox, when that was physically impossible. That one took 5 days and many calls to USPS to show up on the front porch.

The clerk at the front desk was very rude. She needs to be taught how to properly communicate with customers. She didnt greet me, then she was rude about my package and payment, and then just started talking to the other clerk after I paid, without looking at me or saying have a nice day.

Zero accountability with package delivery.I ordered a gift from an online store, I got a notification on New Years Eve (12/31/2020) that the package was left at the door. I was standing right next to the door and the package was not there! I also checked my mail box to make sure, it was not there. So I reported the issue to the customer service stating that I also checked mail box, they gave a canned response that it may have been delivered to the mailbox or check with the mail carrier. I went to the postoffice to see if they can help me find the package. The person who looked it up, Marnice, said the packages were delivered by rural runners and not the usual mail carriers on 12/31/2020 and that they were running around and dropping off packages that the door step. When I told her I didnt receive it, she said in response how do I know you dont have it? :)I replied saying I am living at my location for the last 14 months or so, this is the first time I am coming to report a missing package. She asked me to contact the store, which made no sense since USPS delivered it.I am not sure why they are employing runners to deliver the package and not the usual mail carriers. If they are overloaded, I would be happy to pick it up from the post office or wait a couple more days.Hopefully the postmaster sees this comment. Since we dont have an issue with the package theft in our neighborhood that I know off,I believe that the runners may have delivered package to the wrong address or never delivered the package and just marked it as delivered.Who is accountable for the lost package ? USPS should consider taking photo of the package after delivery like how amazon delivery does.

I have had so many instances of mail delivery delays that it’s hard to know where to begin. On Dec. 7th I mailed a first class letter to Georgia (a bill payment) and now it’s Jan. 15th and it’s still not there. Last week I received a small package that was mailed last November! On January 4th I received a card that was postmarked December 14th and mailed FROM ACROSS THE STREET!! They keep blaming “Covid” — but other businesses haven’t let their services be impacted like this. And for a real laugh, try contacting one of their “Customer Service” numbers!! Nonexistent...

Loses about 3 out of 20 packages I send and if they don’t get lost they sit “received” for a week at a time. On going issue, the usps is the worst delivery service out there, but this branch has to also be among the worst in general.

Chesterfield USPS marks my packages as delivered, but in the last 2 months, Ive had 3 missing packages. When I go to speak to the manager regarding this, their response is, Well it says its been delivered so theres nothing we can do. Ive spoken to the company where I placed the order and they confirmed the products have been shipped. Im beyond words frustrated. Three priceless gifts have been lost. Im so afraid to order anything else now. Thanks a lot USPS!

Went to this post office and ask for a single stamp. Sorry I only sells books of stamps. So instead of making life easier for you this post office would rather have people sit around and help everyone that isnt here for just one stamp. Please wait in the half hour line for just one stamp next please. If you ever want to get looked down on please come enjoy this post office.

Hands down the most personable, friendliest group of postal workers I have ever encountered! They go above and beyond, and its shocking to me how gregarious they all stay in light of the clientele they serve. Daily I am in to check my post office box, and watch these men and women interact professionally, calmly, kindly and patiently with a pretentious and demanding customer base. The customers (as evident by the other reviews here) could use some humbling, but the staff are absolute gems. I am so very thankful for each and every employee here, and so happy doing business with them!

This location was EXTREMELY busy when I visited yesterday but I am so impressed with the team!! They served each customer in a friendly and attentive manner and kept the line moving. During the holidays it can be very hectic but the team working yesterday remained focused, courteous and mindful!! GO TEAM!!!!

Mailed two separate bills at the same time, over two weeks ago, at one of the boxes outside the post office. It was a Monday and several of the boxes were overflowing in the a.m., but we were able put it in one where it went down into the box. Neither company has received payments. How can this be?? I am now getting charged late charges for bills that were mailed a week before due date. Companies suggest mailing new payments. Please explain Mr. Postmaster!!!!

Worst customer service, I setup up a appointment at 9 AM for passport renewal and i was there with my family at 8.50 and i waited till 9.25 and still they never seem to be bothered to treat customers valuable time, NO ONE show up in passport services, they keep saying someone will show up at passport service counter, please wait, I left the place. NEVER GO HERE if you respect your own time

The Service in this location is terrible. Needed to apply for passport for a child. I called their office several times between 3:00 and 4:00 pm – no one answered. When checked their hours on iPhone it says Mon-Fri: 8:30-6:00pm. We came with three little children at 4:50pm. They rudely told us that passport apps are accepted only till 4:00. There were six employees there and zero customers. Makes me wonder why no one answered the phone. They said that their hours are posted on the web-site and the door as if I can read from my work what it says on their door. I later found out that a PC-based version of their web-site has hours for passport service though not on the main hours page but only if you go to the details page. However there is no detailed info on the mobile version of the site at all.

We are a company in Chesterfield and have not receive our mail today nor has our mail been picked up (it is currently after 5pm). This is not the first time it has happened. I called the post office and the lady on the phone said the courier has been out for hours and should have delivered our mail. I assured her, she hasnt. Our flag was still up and our mail to go out (that was put out at 7:30AM) was still sitting there. This is just unacceptable. We have time-sensitive documents and issues like this could cost us big clients.**UPDATE**I stayed until 5:45pm and saw the mail courier arrive at the street mailbox to deliver the mail. We had been expecting a package and several employee cars were still in the lot. She never brought the package to the door. Instead, I got a notification saying they attempted to deliver the package but no one was available. They never attempted to deliver. What laziness.

Im shocked at most of the comments here. Ive been using this location for 2.5 years for both personal and eBay selling and NEVER had an issue. Maybe one time some lady had a little attitude when I tried to pick up a package sent to another persons name but who cares.... Sticks and stones.... I got my package, never lost one..... Always good service. Cant complain.

The day to day mail delivery is fine but the Amazon packages that get delivered is when things go south. The mail carrier only drops packages off on the side of our house and not the front door. The first time we had this happen the package sat outside in the rain because we didn’t know it was sitting on the side of our house. This was a gift and thankfully wasn’t ruined. The paper mail was ruined though. The next time this happened my wife was actually outside and saw the carrier drive up and put the package on the side of the house. When confronted the carrier said they wouldn’t do it again. Well it happened again yesterday. This is someone that is being LAZY. The carrier would literally have to drive 25 feet and then walk up 4 small steps to leave the package on our front porch. Instead this person chooses to drive to the side of our house and remain in the vehicle while tossing packages on the side patio.

There was only one person patronizing the post office at 10am . I came in with all the paperwork filled out for passportspassports and photos already taken. The man working was extremely rude and said, by appointment only today ! I told him everything was already filled out and photos were done. He again rudely replied, appointment. There are signs everywhere stating you can apply for a passport, nowhere stating by appointment only . I went to OFallon . They have a LONG wait and a full parking lot, but they are friendly and willing to help me.

The hours on Saturday per Google is 8:30-2:00 pm. I was there at 9:00. Not a SINGLE customer there. The USPS employee refused to process my passport application. Stated hours for passports are (if I remember correct) 10:00-something. He was trained to do it. Only reason was they arent staffed to handle passports outside those hours because it takes a bit longer. (It takes about 5-10 min. Recently had it done at the same USPS office for my daughter.) I pointed out that there isnt a SINGLE customer here. Someone can come in was the answer. No apology. No flexibility or sense of service. I had to leave and drive back 15 min. When I left there where still not a SINGLE car on the parking lot. What a surreal experiance. 😡

The delivery crew is the worst I have encountered. They drop off post in the wrong mailbox. If you are using the service of hold mail. Do not expect to receive your held mail or any mail post that time. They have been keeping my mail since I requested hold mail service. Called them but no action taken. And I called them again and an employee named Jennifer was very rude on the phone. Said now there is too much mail and wont fit in the mailbox so I have to go and pick it up myself. If they would have delivered on time I would not have to go and pick up my mail. Worst post office

Lost a priority mail letter, ended up scanned in to the post office in Chesterfield, never got delivered they have no idea where it went.Contains loan information that is required for my new home... thanks USPS... this is why youre going bankrupt, incompetency destroys businesses including yours.

Why is it your carriers scan packages at the facility. This is the second time in two weeks that I had something delivered to my work address because you cant seem to figure out how to deliver things to a home address either. I have been told just wait a few days and your package will show up, its probably in the drivers truck? Like seriously? What the hell is the purpose of tracking a package to the delivery location if its just going to be scanned at the post office and not delivered on the day it was scanned. Kind of defeats the purpose of tracking.Seriously? This is what actually happens and their is no reason for it.My package is sorted and set out for delivery. But instead of scanning it when it gets to the location, its scanned at the facility. Now, if this happens to be a work address (which it is) and there is an outside mail box and that package doesnt fit, what is suppose to happen is the driver is suppose to go to the door to deliver that package. What usually happens however is that the driver doesnt even bother to get out of the car (too much of an inconvenience I guess) and deliver the package directly. Instead, it sits in the truck and they move on. Meanwhile the customer is getting a delivery notifications .. but oddly enough there hasnt been a ring at the door. No package has been delivered. Great .. the USPS lost my package (customer sentiment is something that doggs USPS and these are usually the reasons why). But according to USPS the package will just show up. While this may be the case, its in limbo now because it was scanned at the facility as delivered but not actually delivered. This is how most packages start at being in a lost/stolen phase. So guess what happens now ... irritated customer calls post office. (up to 1 hour late). Now customer is calling the company that is suppose to have delivered it because maybe they can figure out what happens in cases like this. I mean, after all I got an email thanking me for my purchase because its showing delivered to the company I purchased from as well? Naturally, they cant help me but start an inquiry into my order to try and resolve the situation like a good company would.Meanwhile, my package is still sitting on a truck (or maybe lost now since its been 2 days since it said it was delivered at 11:30 AM on a Friday as its now Monday).Lets see if my package mysteriously shows up today because the carrier decided to actually do their job and deliver a package to the door.I wonder how much money the USPS cost its customers in time / patience / goodwill trying to track down something (i mean seriously - tracking information is pretty much worthless). Its no wonder the USPS is loosing so much money - how many man hours are wasted in customer service for stupid complaints just like this one.ADVICE - DONT SCAN A PACKAGE AS DELIVERED IF YOU HAVENT ACTUALLY DELIVERED IT. I went on their website to see what I needed to do to get a passport, and it said this location required an appointment, and that passport hours end at 2 pm on Saturdays. So I set up an appointment for Saturday, get a confirmation email and everything, only to get there and find out that: 1) they dont do appointments because its first come first serve, and 2) they stop doing passports at 1 pm on Saturdays (two employees confirmed this for me, by the way). So I went back the following Saturday and got there at 12:15 pm, and they told me that their passport hours for Saturday ended at 12 pm. Not only is their website wrong and misleading, but the staff dont even seem to know what their hours are.

I called this facility to ask why the package I sent yesterday doesnt appear on their websites tracking, and the supervisor whose name is Mornice (not sure of the spelling) immediately answered in an unfriendly voice -- If you sent it yesterday then your package is no longer here. I asked her to hear me out first but she sounded so irritated on the phone. Obviously shes not the nicest person and not the one who cares about providing good customer service. Chesterfield residents deserve to have willing-to-help, sympathetic people at the post office!

Went to get passport. All paperwork filled out. The man behind the counter was rude, condescending and not helpful at all only repeating you need an appt. Nowhere does it say you need an appointment, but I was treated horribly and will NEVER go back.

Very disturbed at what happened today at your post office with a group of special needs children. Your staff, especially the one which the complaint will be filed against, should be ashamed of yourselves. This is the prime reason that people no longer want to use your services and would rather take their packages and business somewhere else, its the lack of courtesy and decent, human respect that is lacking. Im for one ashamed for all of you and will be lodging a protest directly with the Postmaster General.
