Update: We have been here at the Magnolia almost a year now and this place has undergone a lot of positive changes. We are really happy with management and with maintenance. Mellisa, Victoria and Val are a really great team who know how to get things done efficiently and quickly. They have been so great to our family and have made our time here feel like home. Val responds really quick to maintenance requests and Melissa and Victoria have things running really smoothly. They have resolved all issues we had previously. The grounds are well maintained and in a great location. Stop by the office they always have snacks and drinks

Great apartments in a great location. Lived here about two years. Maintenance team was always super helpful. Had an issue with upstairs neighbors smoking inside the apartment and it coming into mine, management easily helped and stopped that. Would recommend.

My move in experience was a comedy of errors on my part. I’m so thankful Victoria was patient and went above and beyond to get me into my apartment despite it being after hours. She kept a positive attitude the entire time and was incredibly helpful and understanding. She denied money as she said it’s against company policy so this review is the least I can do to thank her for all of her help. Thank you so much Victoria! Get this girl to Cali (but not until I move out)!!!

I wasnt going to leave a review until this months community letter went out (I am sure they will not like this review as I am in term; poking the bear). Because they said Magnolia Apartment Homes is dedicated to exceptional customer service... I figured I had to voice my opinion. So here are my pros and cons. When we first moved here from Texas we found this complex and absolutely fell in love with the grounds, the people, and how close it was to everything. The transition of a big move was going smoothly; that we had no complaints, until the neighboring apartment building caught fire. We went from being in contact with the office staff to basically being cut off from contact when we had certain questions about what we needed to do next. When we finally got in contact with someone; they would not help us get our apartment fixed in a timely manner. That happened in September 2020; everything finally got resolved in January 2021 with people attempting to clean our carpets from the fire. We had to stay in our apartment (that was full of smoke) because they did not offer a vacant apartment or hotel to go into for the duration of the renovations or the removal of smoke damage. They called people to come clean the air ducts out in October 2020; and the technician was in awe that they called them in after a period of time. We were breathing in the soot the whole time. Other than the failed communication of the upper management when the fire happened; I have no other complaints about this complex. As stated above; they have nice grounds, nice people, and it is centrally located to everything and anything you want to go do.. it even has a bowling alley right down the street. The rent is fairly priced; but so are the other apartments in this general area. (attached are some of the photos from after the fire; you can see what we had to clean up.)

My husband and I have lived here for a little over two years now and it’s a pretty good place to live. Neighbors are nice and it’s a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part. Val is THE BEST maintenance man, he works so so hard and always gets things done efficiently. There has been so so much change in management in the last two years but the people in the office now seem to really have it together and I hope they’re here for good.The only complaint I have is the mail situation. I don’t like that the mail gets dropped off in the office because I am currently disabled and don’t like having to walk so far to get my mail. But I’m not sure if Magnolia controls that or the postal services.

I have lived in Magnolia Apartments for 3 years. I highly recommend this place. Apartments are equipped with all essentials(except W/D). If you are looking for an affordable and good community to live in Chesterfield, MO area, Magnolia will be a very good choice.

I have lived here since the year 2000. I still love it here! The location, the neighbors, the staff, then and now, and the maintenance staff is truly amazing! If you can afford it, try it! I hoping to keep my run here going! Thank you.

Ive been on the property 3 years, and now going on 4! Victoria and Jasmine were a phenomenal addition to the management team and Im ecstatic to be able to work with them and live here for another year! Val has been doing a great job on any maintenance orders as well. Would recommend this property to anyone!

Well,... weve been here for almost a year and time for our lease renewal but we really need a bigger place. Two weeks before our renewal date I noticed a 2bdrm apartment that was available and went to the office to speak with Melissa. She was totally on board and began the process for our transfer.The amount of money we needed to come up with made the move seem totally impossible but Melissa started explaining about the transfer of funds from one unit to the other, the prorates and all and it appeared that this move Was happening.Melissa is an amazing apartment manager, tells you like it is and works hard to keep her tenants happy.Between Melissa and Victoria, The Magnolia Apts has a great management team.Trinity Properties aside, The Magnolia Apartments are a great place to call home.Thank you Melissa for everything you did to help us and kudos to you and Victoria and your maintenance staff (Vasily) for making this a great place to live!!BTW,...The upgrades to the grounds and buildings are awesome!!

Couldnt park the uhaul where it would be easiest to move from, but still amazing refurbished apartments with very few issues

I recently moved from California and I was a little nervous but everything is amazing!! Feels so homey and I love the wood flooring!! Everyone is really nice. I love that there’s a goodwill right next door

Was looking for apartments during a stressful time and Victoria in the office was amazing. Extremely kind, personable, and professional.

I moved into a one bedroom at Magnolia about two weeks ago. So far, Ive been very satisfied with the place itself as well as the service. There were a few minor issues in the home that needed to be address by a technician, but they were resolved quickly and diligently by John R. Smith.The only downside of this place is the amount of natural lighting coming into the home. Ive spoken to a few tenants when I was cleaning mine to maximize the amount of sunlight that enters the home and all mentioned having the same issue. The walls being painted grey instead of white also limits the reflection further into the homeOverall, this is a wonderful place and Im happy I moved here!

Im doing an experiment to see how fast the office staff/management will write a fake review to counterbalance this negative review. It is August 1 2020.They will say The office staff is amazing. If you notice how many 5 star reviews complement the office staff. If they complement the office staff with specific names 90% chance its a fake review written by a staff worker with the name complemented.You never have contact with the office staff unless your paying rent or need maintenance help. If anything most people will dislike the office staff because they have to give them a $1,000 check every 28-31 days. Why would you say the office staff is amazing? For what reason?Oh this cashier who takes $1,000 of my money every month is amazing.Oh the water meter guy who I pay utilities is amazingOh the cop who gave me a speeding ticket is amazingOh the office worker who I pay my IRS taxes is amazingOh the office worker who I pay property taxes is amazingOh the student loan company staff who I pay back my student loans is amazing

My patio door handle broke. Called and asked for a replacement. They did so promptly. Further, my patio door has problems running on its track. Without asking for this to be remedied JJ went above and beyond and fixed it anyways. Thanks!!

I just moved over here and it is really nice place and great customer service. A guy called Nicoulas, he was really nice and helped me a lot.

Magnolia Apartments is great!! I feel like I am really getting my moneys worth and that Magnolia goes above and beyond other apartments with their reward program and events. They also have very clear communication and availability.

Very nice place. Updated apartments that look nice inside. The pool and landscaping is taken care of frequently too which I like. Naomi is so helpful with everything even after moving in. I know any issues will be taken care of, which I had when I moved in. Dealing with maintenance... theyre very friendly. Everyone is, including the office manager Lainey.

I have lived here for 6 months. The apartments are very nice for the age and very close to grocery and dining. Also they allow pets which is nice. Lainey and Naomi are great to work with in the office and the maintenance staff handle any issues in a timely manner. I see the maintenance guys picking up garbage and keeping the grounds clean every morning. Overall very happy with the apartments.

This is a good place to live, the only major shortcoming being the lack of a washer-dryer in the apartment or building itself. Good service and prompt response to emails and calls from the leasing office by current management Lainey and Naomi, and prior management Andi and Carly. There have been issues through the year from but maintenance is prompt, and delivered by John, Mario and another whose name I dont know.

I am currently living here and love it! As a college student, being close to campus, grocery stores, and restaurants is very convenient! It’s also a very up to date facility. Anything I have had a problem or I needed something fixed, the maintenance staff was there to fix it ASAP. I have had no problems, and I don’t see any problems happening in the further!

Moved in this summer and the entire staff has been very accommodating and responsive. Lainey, Naomi, and John all do a great job around here. This place is very pet friendly too, which is a huge plus.

Since my fiancé and i moved in we have had nothing but great things to say about this place. Maintenance is very friendly and very helpful. They are always on top of things that need to be fixed. They are also very friendly and are always willing to work with you if you run in a rut. I definitely 100% recommended this place if you are looking for a place to live.

I am giving them 4 stars, I think they have been helpful in maintenance issues, just wish I couldnt hear the neighbors so much. We are new just moved in October 31, 2018 so hopefully the year ends good and they dont over raise the rent, only time will tell. I like the staff, they seem friendly and helpful.Thank you

The place is kept up, the maintenance are on top of things as well! I feel comfortable and confident that management handles any concerns with professionalism and kindness! I have been here for two years now,pretty happy!

My experience thus far has been mostly positive.I will say that I was very disappointed when I showed up and with the moving truck to find out that my apartment was carpet. I had been assured that it would have the bamboo floors (I checked because I wasnt sure I wanted to even apply if not). They kind of tried to remedy the situation, but not enough in my opinion for the amount of inconvenience and the fact that I still have to live in this carpeted apartment for the foreseeable future.But Im still giving them 4 stars because I have had positive experience with the staff members. The property managers have been very kind and helpful through the hundreds of phone calls/emails. Naomi, who works in the office, has also beef very friendly. I have had very prompt service from the maintenance staff and the daytime maintenance man is very nice. I feel very safe here and dont need to worry much about having any problems. For the most part the complex is very quiet. And I think the apartments are nice for the price point and also checked most of my boxes.Any other complaints? My neighbors seem to be pretty loud, though if this is the fault of the people who live there or the buildings design I cannot say. Although Ive never really heard anyone else. You can tell some corners were cut when redoing the place (just general painting errors and whatnot).Overall Im still happy with the decision to move here.

I have been at the Magnolia Apartments since August 2017 and the apartments are quiet, with a nice big pool, and an overall highly maintained, attractive property, with the staff being the main component contributing to not only the upkeep but always working towards improvement to a better quality living space. The office is amazingly helpful and friendly, and if there are maintenance issues there is a fast turn around in general and typically great communication when there may be delays or when the necessary work orders are complete. A great feature is that most bills, such as rent and maintenance requests can be made through their website. Which updates you on the progress of the request. Mailed packages can be sent to the office for a more secure location, which also has the location of two new computers and a printer for resident access. There is also a workout room with more than enough equipment and a TV for follow-along workouts and more. This is an amazing community that I am lucky to have found such an amazing, hardworking and genuinely caring staff.

So I have lived here going on 3 years. Everyone is wonderful and I love that they love my dogs. The only thing I dont like is we want to move to the bottom floor, cause I have back problems. I just wish we didnt have to pay so much to move.

Naomi is extremely well informed. I left wanting to live at Magnolia, so unfortunate that nothing was available with in our time specification. Naomi offered excellent customer service. She is a keeper for the role!!

We have lived in this complex for 17 years and it is home. It has gone from a top rate place to a place where I no longer wanted to live. However, since being purchased by Trinity, changing it’s name to Magnolia Apartment Homes, and going through a few apartment managers, I feel like things are finally starting to improve. I feel they are working to make this place somewhere that people will want to call home.

The apartments are beautiful and up to date. They were clean and completely ready for move in. The community is welcoming and so friendly, I feel right at home! I would recommend living here to everyone!

The office staff is AMAZING!! Cant say enough positive things about them! The application and move-in process was SO easy! Prompt, courteous attention to any needs or questions and do everything in their power to make sure the residents are happy. Maintainence crew is awesome and responds immediately to address and fix any questions or needs you have. All of the renovations they are doing to the complex is going to make this place like a your own private getaway!! I couldnt be happier! I love it here and all of the residents are SO friendly! I would definitely recommend Forum Apartments to anyone looking for a new HOME, not just an apartment!

Very poor management and customer service. They do an abysmal job of explaining important parts of rental contracts and helping you avoid fees and charges. They dont care about the renter and only view you as a source of money - of which they try and extract as much as possible. Be extremely wary of renting with them. There are plenty of other options close by with similar price points i would look elsewhere if you can.

I have lived at Forum Apartments for over sixteen years and nothing but great changes have been made over the course of the last couple of years. The new office manager has made great improvements to the exterior. Maintenance and management are very personable and responsive when there is an issue. They also try to keep on top of making sure that residents are satisfied. Everything has been updated - clubhouse, pool, laundry room. Its a great location for anyone who has children and wants to be in the Parkway School District. Its convenient to everything - grocery and restaurants are within walking distance. Plus all of the problem residents having been moving out which is making the community much more pleasant to live at.

I went in to look at a one bedroom. Andi was very very helpful. I almost got an apartment there but they were a little high priced in my opinion. But I almost took it anyways just because the office staff. I couldnt justify in my mind paying 800 dollars for a one bedroom. Now if it was 700-725 that would be a little more where the price should be. But none the less if this place is in your budget give andi a shot

I lived here from 2015 to 2017. I had the room leak 7inches of water into my apartment. The old owners just covered up the spot with paint and didnt clean my carpet. The new owners didnt care either. I left because I was constantly sick and they wouldnt get the apartment professionally tested for mold.The downstairs neighbor had a dog that she couldnt control and it almost bit me once when it broke free.The new owners didnt care at all that I had these issues.

The Magnolia Apartment Homes in Chesterfield, MO. Is perfectly placed within a safe community, is centrally located to all major access points to highways 64/40, 270, 70, and beautiful surrounding parks, delicious restaurants and has new management that is making the entire community closer and more involved through social events, the resident portal and a newsletter with community updates!

This is my families first apartment to rent so we were extra picky when choosing the right fit for us. We have a 4 month old baby so it was super important that we picked a good one. We moved from Oklahoma so my Fiancé could continue playing baseball with a scholarship to MBU. We didn’t know the area at all and we had to pick an apartment online without visiting since we were so far away. The staff at the Magnolia fulfilled our every need through that process. I probably called 500 times before we moved in and they were more than polite every time and extremely helpful. we have lived here for 4 months and i am beyond pleased with the apartment. The renovations that were made before we moved in are very nice. we have had one problem with one of our doors, but i made one phone call and within 30 minutes the onsite repairman came and fixed it. I am obsessed with the pool and so excited to use it this summer. All of the extra accommodations are very convenient also. My favorite part of the community is the landscaping!! It is so beautiful. It’s perfect for our family to take walks. We have taken tons of pictures outside also. The Magnolia is an all around great community to be apart of. It has been a perfect fit for our family. I’m so glad we made the decision to live here.

I cant agree enough. These apartments are just plain awful. When Trisha Olsen took over these apartments, they completely went down the hill. She destroyed the reputation of this neighborhood that used to have a good vibe, now its roach and bed bug infested, also, all kinds of drug dealers and alike reside here now. She just lets anyone move in here as long as he/she can afford the rent. The property is filthy, trash and beer bottles everywhere as far as eye can see.

Lived here for a year from 2016 to 2017. They initially had me in a ground floor unit with no moisture barrier built into the foundation so I had ground water leaking into the apartment and all they did was bring a box fan into the kitchen and told me to leave it running for a couple days as if that were a solution. Had to force the issue and was moved into another unit only to be screwed over when my lock was ruined by a third party maintenance person and they took over a month to replace it, leaving my valuables completely unprotected when I left. What takes the cake though is that when I moved out I was assured I would receive my full security deposit of $500 and a month later I was sent a letter saying I owed over $1000 to them instead, for rent damages and so on- that apartment was spotless and I had photos to prove it. The manager Carlie whos signature was on this letter acted like she had no idea what it even said at first and suggested that my debt had been sent to a collections agency immediately after I had left but upon calling the agency whos number she had given me they said they had nothing on file related to me. Trinitys main office also was completely unresponsive to multiple phone calls and intentionally doesnt use a call waiting service to screen the calls and attempt to further give you the go around. To this date I still never received my security deposit nor have ever heard anything about the bogus charges they wanted to give me. Id imagine it was a form of fraud designed to catch people who are foreign or might not know much about this and make them scared with the threat of legal action that it entailed- everyone who moves out probably got this and were told to drop off the payment to Carlie which she then pockets herself- theres no way any of this was legitimate. Stay far away from this overpriced mess.

Not bad, if you pay on time management leaves you alone. Decent apt., bit pricey but thats just the location.

Id say the apartment is overpriced for what you get. The windows and doors are very poorly insulated and drafty. They need to inform tenants of emergencies somehow (like water main breaks, power outages) so you dont come home wondering why things arent working. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. Maintenance issues are usually fixed within a week.

Terrible office staff just came for information and was treated with indifference and unwillingness to provide information. #aintnobodygottimeforthat

These apartments have a roach and bedbug infestation. Instead of moving tenants to different apartments or comping rent they just wasted thousands of dollars on exterminators.
