Amenities are beautiful but staff is extremely slow to respond. Some staff members are very unprofessional and rude. Takes days, sometimes weeks for them to respond or for management to take care of maintenance requests. Trash at mail stations piles up and spills all over the place. Steps and roads are not taken care of in the winter when it snows. Pool is nice, but that’s it! Avoid this place!

The worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. The management team never respond emails unless you call them or send a second one. And the maintenance team will never show up in time even if you put ‘urgent request’, you have to make phone calls to rush them. I give 1 star because the neighborhood environment is safe and quiet, otherwise I’ll give 0 star. I have moved out of the apartment even it cost me around $2000 termination fees.

Overall in the year I lived there I did not experience the “luxury” apartment I was paying for. I lived in a two bedroom renovated apartment. The day we moved in the air conditioner did not work of course they were eager to “fix” the problem and told me that my air was disconnected in the attic and the attic was full of cold air. After they “fixed” this problem my air conditioning never worked again causing all of electric bills to be exceptionally high. Not to mention all of the amenities were closed almost the entire time I lived there. My patio was marked to be remade but was never done. Although I paid for pest control each month I did not seem to lack any amount of spiders, roaches, and other bugs. Before your lease is up they send you a letter to ask if you want to renew your lease and the price of your rent. My rent would have gone up $400 to renew my lease. Their Covid relief program was a total joke and absolutely did not help. Please avoid this place at all costs. I would love to give this a 0 star rating cause I think that even 1 star is far too many.

They kept the grounds really nice, maintenance was always prompt and friendly, my neighbors stayed to themselves and I never experienced nor seen any criminal like activities which I loved that Chesterfield Police actually patrol the property daily. I am having a lot of trouble with my apartment and I will not renew my lease for my 2bhk. I consistently come outside at night with no lights on my building and many other buildings. I had to ask the trash company not to hunk their horns at night at the rubbish machine. They told me they do that to scare off the raccoons and animals. I witnessed many of them there and at my door. The leasing office never answers phone calls and when they do I am always told manager is in very important meetings. I wish we had a better apartment for what we pay for.

Leasing office is a joke.I have been trying to get a covered parking for my car since one month and I didn’t get it yet.I have called them during weekday, weekend multiple times. They answer the call once in 5 times. When they answer the call luckily I only hear one thing every time “we will get the information next business day.”That next business day has never come.On last friday I called around 4 pm and I asked to assign me the covered parking right away but the person was so forcing me to postpone assigning me reserved parking until Monday. I don’t know what the reason is.I don’t even know what their working hours are instead of being a resident because they never respond.Another thing is $25 for covered parking, it’s not even a garage.Terrible terrible resident service from leasing office.

The leasing office is the worst that I have experienced. You can’t rely on their word. And you would feel lucky to find them in person since their working hours is erratic. And forget about talking to them over the phone. They would rarely pick up your phone to address your concerns.Even if you were able to speak to them, they wouldn’t work on your request/concern, since their best response is: “We will look into it”. And I don’t understand why they like to procrastinate their work so much. Forget about maintenance requests, even for simple requests such as extending my lease, they wouldn’t readily work on it.I would strongly recommend against leasing with this community. This is the worst apartment complex I have EVER lived in. Cheaply made and outdated, with absolutely no installation in the walls, and just about everything breaks or falls apart. I have lived in many other places and never have had a problem with electric. After my first month of living in the apartment, I was barely home, didnt even have any lights yet (since there is no overhead lighting in the bedrooms) and my bill was $299! Thats insane. It has gotten a little cheaper since I tried sealing off all of the windows but it doesnt seem to help too much. Not to mention that in the winter, we have cold air blowing in through the electrical outlets... I dont even understand how this happens. In addition, the management is oftentimes rude, not helpful, or simply doesnt respond. As well as, we are all now required to pay an extra $22 a month for Valet Trash, which is a good idea in theory but actually a ploy for them to fine you $50 for not having your trash bag tied in a bow. Also, there is a massive bug problem outside the complex as well as inside. And, I promise it doesnt matter how clean your apartment is. Also, just about every amenity you can think of is usually closed down for maintenance and you have to fight for parking. I mainly moved to this place for the location, but I am counting down the days until my lease is up and I can move anywhere else, which conveniently they scheduled my move out date on a holiday when they are closed.

I’ve just recently moved into Westmont Apts. So far... I LOVE IT!!! The location of my apartment on the grounds is perfect... I am surrounded by tree and bright green grass. On my move in day, a cardinal landed on the tree outside my window (which is a sign of good luck). It’s peaceful, safe, and quiet. The neighbors speak and wave as they walk their dogs, and generally... it’s just a good area to live in. As for my apartment, it’s spacious and clean. My closet is huge and has built in shelves for all my shoes. If the appliance where updated this would be perfect. I would DEFINITELY recommend living here! The property manager is very sweet and gives off a welcoming vibe. The leasing agent, Amy helped me find the perfect apartment on the ground level because my mother just had surgery and I didn’t want to make it hard for her when she visits. Overall... Ive lived here for going on my third lease with them and I havent had any direct issues with my apartment except most of my maintenance requests are ignored and when they finally do come they just try and piece it back together and dont really replace the broken thing. My only other issue is that the more leases you sign with them, the higher the rent is every single time, but they will have an identical apartment up for lease that is over 200 dollars less per month. In my opinion, they should reward people for continuing to sign leases there instead of making it harder for them to pay their bills. I would recommend but there is work to be done

Im surprised by some of the bad reviews. I had no major problems with the apartment, but I guess its all about your expectations. I lived on a top floor with a nice, vaulted ceiling, its painted nicely and the carpet was in good condition. The flooring in the kitchen and bathroom was pretty old and definitely needed to be replaced as the edges were curling up, but nothing I couldnt live with. I really liked the layout, any time I had a maintenance issue, they responded right away.Appliances were old, but what I expected compared to similar apartments. I liked the location for Chesterfield and I lucked out with neighbors because I never heard them except when they were walking to their apartment outside. But Im low maintenance, some people just have really high expectations and Im more realistic. But based on my experience, Id definitely recommend it to someone if they asked

You pay for premium accommodations but receive minimal maintenance. I lived here 2 years and left because their responsiveness was so substandard. Here are two examples of how horrible it is:1) MOLD. When the tenant above me left, the maintenance guy pulled the water hose from the fridge and ran it to the washing machine drain. Water started draining to the floor and into my ceiling and onto my carpet and furniture. They *caused* the leak. Over the next two weeks the prescribed inadequate, minimal remedy - for ex. They painted over the mold spots in the ceiling. You can see in the photos where they didnt even do that correctly because there was still mold at the edge. They then cut out a small section of moldy drywall from the ceiling and replaced it. However, the maintenance guy left the moldy piece of drywall and all the sawed off pieces on top of my cabinets (unseen) where I continued to breathe in the mold. After weeks of inadequate response they finally controlled the ceiling. But the did nothing to the original location of the leak (above washing machine), and the walls and floor were coated with mold. Worst of all, they never admitted this was a mold issue, instead claiming it was surface mildew. No, this was mold. In huge quantities. Growing in the ceiling and walls.2) HEATER / AC REPAIR. My heater went out three (maybe four) times one year. I would call and leave a repair request, which would go unanswered for days. I would then call the office and get results. On each time, the repair tech listed on the work order loose wire. Repairs were band-aids to get rid of the problem at the lowest cost. In the meantime I would freeze in winter or roast in summer.ADVICE: if you dont mind paying a premium service, getting calls ignored, and hearing excuses - then rent here. If you want to get what youre paying for, do yourself a huge favor - look elsewhere.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Their service is horrendous. Our air conditioner was unable to keep up with the heat and the temperature inside our apartment was anywhere between 82-85 degrees. It took them 8 days after our initial request to even take a look at it. In those 8 days we called 3 times, went to the office, and sent an email to the assistant manager (which they didnt even respond to). It took them a few more days to come up with a solution - 1 window unit. Again, this was not enough. We had to go buy a separate window unit as they would not provide another. Even with 2 window units and the central air unit, our apartment still got up to 80 degrees. A few days after installing the second window unit, they came back and removed the original one that they provided and informed us we had to move the one we had bought. Its now 12+ days since our initial maintenance request and they still have no solution and our AC continues to be insufficient. Our utility bill more than doubled and we have yet to see the next, which will be even worse. We were told there would be no reimbursement even though they have yet to solve our problem.

My dishwasher is broken and they refuse to fix it no matter how many times I call. Ive found 2 mice (and I live on the 3rd floor). My screen door was broken when I moved in. My porch light has faulty wiring. And then the best part, I lost my job and asked if it was possible to pay a fee and move out early. They said yes but I had to pay more money than if I finished out my lease. Now its time to move out and Im told that the move out date on my lease does not mean anything. I’m not one to leave reviews or blatantly trash people online. But my experience living here forced me to do this, because I never want someone to go through what my roommate and I did.1) The staff that works there is a complete joke. Throughout my 15 month lease, there was about 3-4 (being gracious with that estimate) different “managers” to contact. I only know this because our problems were so neglected that we were forced to attempt to speak to a manager every time. Every time we did, we got a new manager that was not even caught up to speed about any of the problems that we were facing. IF the office staff answered the phone, our problems were rarely taken care of. We would have to call with a blocked number sometimes just to get an answer. When our lease was up and we told them we were not renewing, we were not given ANY communication. Nothing about how much we owed, NOTHING. We were completely left in the dark and had to reach out multiple times just to get information.2) Our HVAC unit broke 3 times while we lived there. We did not have ac most of the summer and if we did, the humidity was not taken out of the air leaving our apartment moist and sticky 99% of the time. Every time it was “fixed” the problem would happen again. The apartments are so old that our 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment (small) that we kept at an affordable temperature caused our ameren bill to be 200+ dollars consistently. Whenever maintenance came in, they took down our smoke detector and it took MONTHS to get someone to come put it back up. Which is a huge safety problem within itself.3) The bug/mold problem is awful. Our walls had clear water damage which was never fixed. I have found COUNTLESS numbers of bugs in our apartment. Sure the maintenance team would come spray, but that did not ever stop me from finding centipedes DAILY and having a brown recluse great me one day while in bed.4) the appliances are old and do not work. Sure they are renovating the apartments, but the new appliances doesn’t make up for the overall “old” feeling that the apartments give off. You will also be shown the nicest units that they have, but when it comes to move in day you can SURELY expect much less when you see the actual until you are moving into.I could go on and on, but I feel as though I’ve said enough. My experience at Westmont was truly awful and I was counting down the days until I was able to move out. READ the reviews and take them seriously (I wish I did), they are not over exaggerating one bit. If you are wanting to live in Chesterfield, please avoid these apartments at all cost.

I have lived at the complex a little over two years now and unfortunately I have not had a good experience. We have experienced several issues that are bound to arise while renting an apartment but when I try to get the issues fixed, it takes an extremely long time and the staff can be extremely rude. Our dryer in the apartment broke and my husband put in a request for it to be repaired. Unfortunately our request was not acknowledged for nearly a week before we followed up. When my husband followed up they said they were waiting for a part from the manufacturer. They claimed it could be a month before we heard back. I called up the same day and asked them to pay for our dry cleaning and laundry bill. That was incentive enough for them to find a spare dryer to replace the one we had in our apartment. I feel like they should of offered us that resolution without me having to ask them to pay our dry cleaning bill. Another issue they have is that they never open their pool on time with the season. They clients miss out on nearly a month of pool time because of one issue or anther. Two years in a row the pool has been late to open. There pool is never cleaned either. There are dead animals that spend weeks in the pool rotting without anyone attending to the issue. The most recent issue we had with the complex was our access card to the gym was not working. I have gone in and had the card reprogrammed twice and it still will not work. I have asked them to replace the card in person twice and the staff claims there is no one in the office at the time that can do that. I asked for a resolution and I was hung up on. Yvette is a leasing agent at this office and I would advise that you request a different agent. She is very difficult to talk to. Before you can explain the issue she will interrupt you. When I tried to explain to her that we had tried her suggested solution before, she told me that was all the office could do. She told me that since the amenities are free and not included in the rent I do not have to allow me access to the gym. I understand that problems will occur from time to time and everything cannot be addressed right away but at the very least I except the staff to be pleasant and for them to make an effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner. I am very disappointed with my experience here at Westmont.

Do not live here! I cant say it any clearer... I moved into Westmont because they were one of the few apartments in Chesterfield that allows large dogs on premises. (Note to other apartments - large dogs are generally less destructive and intrusive than small dogs.) That being said, other than be able to have the dog (with a $300 pet fee and $30 month in pet rent), in the 11* months that I had the unfortunate experience of living in this dump, I cant think of a single thing that I would recommend about the apartment itself. Sure the grounds are well kept, but thats just the facade.Where to start? The apartments themselves are old and outdated. Worn carpet, appliances from the mid-late 80s (I checked date of manufacture), noisy air conditioners and dingy bathrooms. In the 11 months that I lived here I received 3 credits from management for unacceptable maintenance issues - 3 weeks without a working washer, 6 weeks without an ice maker and 2 months (yes months) with and A/C unit that couldnt cool below 85 degrees. The main issue here is the staff. Inattentive, uninformed and often belligerent. Everything to be serviced was always and issue... If Im paying close to $1100 a month (rent, pet, covered parking), I at least expect the staff to try and resolve an issue without trying to make me prove it!If you decide to live here, you can expect the same. Also, you can expect nightly loud cricket games (yes, cricket) on the tennis court, thin ceilings (hope you like your neighbors), apartments with 4+ men living in them (see cricket) and your car, most likely, will be hit in the parking lot. Also, dont be surprised if you come home and find that maintenance has left the keys in the door to your now unlocked apartment. And finally, back to the reason I lived there for 11* months... After complaining for weeks about a strong odor of sewer gas in the apartment, suffering headaches and getting nowhere with the crack staff, I took matters into my own hands and called a friend in the St. Louis County Health department... She inspected the apartment and determined that the shared (not code) mainline return for the washer had cracked. It was only after I informed the property of this serious health violation that they agreed to do anything about and let me out of the lease.Do yourself a favor - go anywhere else. There are MUCH nicer properties in the area - ones that dont smell of sewer gas, ones that werent last updated during the Reagan administration, ones that actually care about there residents and ones that when youre moving out you wont say Thank God thats over.

But one years of stay, the experience here was really horrible. They charge unnecessary things once you move out and you will get $500 bill with ridiculous claims. If you want to continue your lease for next 6 months, their charges vary from 40% - 65% more of your current rent, which is totally ridiculous.Overall it was horrifying experience !! PATHETIC STAFF.

Ive lived here for 6 months and we had to contact maintenance for a lot of plumbing issues. Its also super annoying when you go to pay rent toward the end of the month and their workers leave early!! Their offices dont open until 830 and most of us are at work by then. They dont have a drop box and you have to go back again and hope that they are still there especially when you dont get off in time!

I lived at Baxter Crossings and paid a couple hundred dollars per month more. When people get tired of the $60-$100 rent increases at Baxter, they move across the street to Westmont. Both complexes were build by the same builder and have the same plans and the same construction. Fogelman used to run both complexes. Since Fogleman sold to an out-of-state company, people are flocking to Westmont. Fogelman is a far better management company. I strongly recommend Westmont.

I really love this place. The staff is very accommodating to my needs. Quick maintanance and emergency mantainance response. Great neighborhood for walking and close to trader joes and dierburgs, as well as lots of cute cafes and shops. Minutes from the mall and chesterfield valley! For the space, washer/dryer, icemaker, garbage disposal, and location....the price is unbeatable! Also a very SAFE place to live. Great for pets from what I can see!

I have a 3 year old boy which my neighbors think should act like an adult even though both the neighbor next to me and the one below me both act like children banging on my walls & ceiling. It is messed up when two adults think a 3 year old boy should be more of a grown up then they are. They do not realize the noise is due to how cheep the apartments are made and if you do not like it move to better built apartments.

Older appliances, windows and doors allow all the cold in, terrible toilets. Paper-thin walls, where you can hear every move your neighbor makes. For the price Im paying to live in a single bedroom apartment, I should not have to deal with the amount of noise that I hear from all the neighbors around me.

Really Poor service from the people who run this place. The requests for service/maintenance will fall on deaf ears. The apartment buildings are really dilapidated and the rent is too high.
