My boyfriend went to this place for a cut, and I was so horrified at how terrible his hair was cut! We are from out of state so trying to find good barbers and salons have not been the best in this area. His fade looked terrible, one side is darker than the other and uneven, his hairline looked bad as well, this cut was not sharp crisp or neat from what he gets done typically . Waste of money and time, this was a rush job for sure! we typically pick places based off reviews to have some insight on what to expect and this certainly was a disaster. He will never return back to this place. Highly disappointed ! I hate to leave bad reviews but this was terrible and unprofessional

If you’re just a walk-in, they don’t respect your time or your presence. I was waiting nearly 2 hours for a haircut, and they didn’t acknowledge me or let me know when I was next, how many people in front of me or anything. They just took the appointments and had me sitting there. And I respect that they had appointments, but you got to help the walk-ins too. Waste of my time and I aint going back there again. Second time they did this too.

Barber who cut my hair was cool and can cut but the owner boss is not friendly at all. I walked in no hey can I help you or any type of greet and then asked me if I had an appointment all agressive. Didnt like him!

This barber shop was right underneath my nose. due to the covidGetting a haircut nowadays aint easyJust had doing some grocery shopping on a Saturday morning and saw Blunt sitting out front,I asked if I could get a nice haircut he said sure come on in come to find out Blunt is from Petersburg and so am I and the guy that did my hair is from emporia really nice guy by the time I left I felt like I was at home Ill definitely come back Great group of guys.I cant say enough good about these guys.

We have been coming here for about 5 years now, I bring my 3 sons. They barbers are all very friendly and professional. They make my boys feel like they are big boys and they always want to know how they are doing in school and in life.. thats so special. Prices are excellent. The shop is always clean. And the wait time is not long at all. Will continue to bring my boys here.

I googled best mens haircut in Chester, Jazz Barber pulled up. I went to check it out, on arrival the guys were super friendly, Calvin had me come right in and have a seat. I got one of the best cuts I ever had. Calvin was awesome, makes you feel right at home. I would really recommend you stop and check them out.

I arrived in front of the shop at 9 in the morning the barbers didn’t show up until almost 9:30. The sign says they open at 9 am. The barber tells me that they were doing appointments, I told him I tried calling to make one and he gave a sorry excuse along the lines of I should have gave him until 9:10. That is a WEAK and SORRY excuse as someone who’s running a business.

Got my hair cut by Austin today, he did a great job. I’ve been looking for a good shop and a good barber since I’ve have moved to Chester I found them.

Im surprised I havent reviewed them before. My family has been going to this barber shop faithfully for about 15 years. Theyve never steered us wrong. Today, a barber made my mother beautiful again after a stylist at JC Penney ruined the haircut she wanted. He came with the confidence to fix the problem and did a flawless job at the cost of his poor finger (which was accidentally cut on a razor). Despite that, he still managed to finish the work and Im forever grateful. Ladies, dont be afraid to go in here for your haircut! She wasnt the only one there, and wont be the last I bet with how well they can execute your requests. Theyve done great jobs with my brothers and my father too with their hair and beards.

We wanted to take a moment and address the dissatisfied customer review. The customer did express her displeasure in the service either that evening or the next day. We offered to have her come back in so we could address the problem and she declined. The young man in question has been to our salon many times and we were never aware there was a problem and hope to have the opportunity to address that service. Every customer is important to us - we strive to deliver excellent service with every visit and welcome any and all chances to correct any problem.

I enjoy the different hours that theyre open to accommodate me and my busy schedule.

Austin cut my hair and he gave me the best cut Ive had in years. The vibe is standard barbershop but tools are clean and the staff are great overall.

Went there to get my 2 year old his first cut. The barber was very patient with him. Very satisfied and all the barbers were friendly and comical. Will be going back for now on.

I experienced very poor customer service. The beauty tech took several hours to complete my hair. The end result was horrible, my twist came apart as I was walking out the door and she charged more than her original stated price even with me having short hair! I was even more disappointed when I called to discuss this to no avail. I use to take my 8 year old there for cuts as well but its been my experience that hey are not the most patient barbers for children.

Barber completely messed up my hair. Over heard the barber saying he doesnt have his license yet and waited over an hour with only one person in front of me.
