The staff here is always friendly and helpful. I have been coming here since a child and have never had a problem. We even had an issue when we switched insurance providers. Our new insurance had the start date incorrectly listed. After many attempts to get the insurance rep on the phone, we rescheduled. Had to pay out of pocket after many failed attempts to get the insurance company to fix their error. Later, we resubmitted my childs visit through the insurance company. Amount paid out of pocket refunded. Staff EXTREMELY helpful during this stressful ordeal. If I could give you 10 stars, I would.

My 3 children have been going to this location for some time now. And I did not have any concerns until today. The experience my 5 year old daughter and i had made me decide that we will NOT be returning to this location. My daughter was getting a cap and filling today and While most parents know that children’s memory is not strong at such a young age. At least my daughters isn’t. The dentist of course gave my daughter the “shot” in her gums and that scared her and she did end up crying the entire time of the procedure. While I was trying to calm my daughter down while the dentist was working my daughter still crying because she was complaining that it hurt. The dentist told my daughter we e been through this before. My daughter is not an adult, this 5 year old child is not going to remember the steps of what is being done to her. I had to tell the dentist she needs to explain to my daughter what she’s doing. This dentist was not patient to me and seemed like she was getting frustrated with my child. The dentist was pressing the clear suction cup and forcing my daughter to keep it in her mouth but using her hands to press it down in her mouth. Which terrified my daughter. The assistant that was in there was doing nothing to calm my child down. Then the dentist in the end told me my daughter was being stubborn . My reaction after that was I’m not bringing my kids back to this location. I wish there was someone i can report this to.

Melissa was very nice she was the one who first put on my braces and she is very nice and cares for her patients and tries to make sure their okay and happy as she does was she needs to do she is the best one yet

Quiet, clean and friendly location. Technician was great and my cleaning and x-rays were quick and painless.

Doctors Jenkins and Woods were very professional, caring, and took their time to explain everything. The dental hygienist made sure that I was comfortable. I did not feel rushed. I would recommend making this group your family dentist!

I can’t say enough good things about this office. Today was my first visit here and everyone was awesome from checking in to leaving. They make you feel very comfortable and answer any questions you have.

Honestly, had the worst experience today 4/26/2021. Checked in 10 min before my appointment and the lady at the front desk said I was good and sat there for over an hour while people kept being called back and nothing for me. I was missing all of my classes so I went up there to check in and see how much longer I had until I could be called back for my fill. She looked confused and thought I needed to be checked out. Apparently there was miscommunication going on with my appointment but nothing was said to me. I was then called back and the dentist i had was not listening to me at all when i was already frustrated with the time and i needed a specific tooth filled for my orthodontist appointment.Wish i could give it no stars but Jennifer was very kind to me and helped me out thankfully.

I take all 4 of my kiddos here. They all love it. My son has sensory issues, and anxiety. They are wonderful with him. We tried another local pediatric dentist before coming here and are so glad we made the switch!

The staff is personable, nice and friendly, the Office is always clean, even with he Covid outbreak, I feel comfortable going to my appointments knowing that I can feel safe with each visit. I am close to the end of my treatment and I can honestly say it has been a pleasant process.

The communication at this location is HORRIBLE!!! My appointment was schedule for 4:15 to have a tooth removed.. 3:23 I received a phone call stating my appointment was not scheduled with the wisdom tooth dentist so I would need to reschedule.. Not too mention I reached out the office not once but twice to confirm my appointment along with my daughter appointment.. If this was a problem why wait to the day of my appointment to notify me.. Secondly I was informed my 8 year old daughter would need teeth removed I explained to the dentist that I would recommend she gets puts to sleep. She then says would you recommend anesthesia? I responded yes.. She then walks over to the desk began writing and comes back and hands me a referral. My response is “ you guys can’t do that here?” She says No.. Well don’t you think before you wrote the referral you should of explained that too me.. I am a healthcare professional and I know communication is everything especially when providing healthcare..

Usually right on time with appointments and seeing patients without long waits. Good environment for the kids (and the parents) to relax before going in.

This office have the best staff ever. Dr Goldstein is awesome. The entire staff is very polite and will make you feel comfortable the entire visit. I give this office 5 stars and will highly recommend!!!

There are the worst dentist i have ever had. They just want to run up your insurance. And not one person up there knows whats going on . Would like to give -stars.

Im about to have some dental work done in a couple of days. I was asked if I will have the same insurance next month. Its been nagging at me. Maybe they think Im going to have the work done and then drop my insurance. If I didnt like my dentist so much, I dont think I would bother with this dental office ever again.

Ive been with them at the Greenbrier office for over 20 years and have been very pleased with them. The rest of my family goes their now too. They are very good with my autistic son as well. Natalie is an excellent hygienist too.

Dr. Sachs is great with kids, very funny and witty. He was very informative about what to expect. Beaux was extremely patient and gentle with my anxious, sensitive 8 year old daughter. He carefully explained and showed her everything he was going to do for her sealants before doing it.

Best Dentist Staff nice

I would recommend you stay very far away from this practice!!! They claim to be honest but keep the money your insurance overpays if you have multiple insurances, not crediting it to the patient until it is requested back. They send bills when nothing is owed and will take your money if you pay the bill not realizing they are still waiting for insurance payments. The billing & insurance staff doesnt have a clue how to do their jobs without taking advantage of the patients. And the office manager is more worried about her lunch being interrupted rather than the patients being treated fairly. This so called honest practice will rip you off faster than you can get out of the door. Again anyone seeking dental care should absolutely look elsewhere!!!

The costumer service is terrrrible. Stay away. I didn’t have insurance in that moment. I paid with my debit card. They are very sarcastic. When they notice this. I was not confortable 😡. I have money and I pay before the service. I never come back.

I am a previous patient of thr kempsville location but since this one is closer I thought I would book with them. Last week I called to schedule an appointment the woman I spoke to that morning to schedule my appointment was not only rude but also unwilling to listen. I tried to explain my new insurance being under my husbands for his new job she then wanted to talk about merging the accounts and that she had the insurance already on file. Got rude with me when I again tried to explain that the information on file for him as well as my self has since changed. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes to schedule an appointment for a tooth ache and had to deal with a sassy lady. I canceled that appointment and went else where.

I love it here everyone is very friendly my son likes it hes been going here almost 4 yrs now.

The practice is horrible- the referral coordinator and pedi-manager will lie to you- they (Dr. Scott Sachs was her dentist) placed a referral 3 weeks ago for my 2 year old, after I refused to not extract all 4 of her front teeth (and the 2 second opinions I got agreed), they never sent records to my insurance despite me speaking to them on 4 different occasions and them telling me they did send the records and supposedly calling my insurance themselves too (because they refused to let my daughter see another dentist within the practice). So today my insurance calls them themselves, once again requesting the records to prove shes been seen twice by them, then they called me telling me they wont see her (which my daughter will not be going there again anyways, and thats not why my insurance called), telling me if I want another opinion change my insurance, when I informed them once AGAIN the insurance just wants the office notes for the 2 visits showing she had been seen for the referral THEY placed, she said oh Im sorry I thought they wanted two attempts in office Ill send the records. Ive told them every time I have called- 4 times now- exactly want insurance wanted. I do not recommend this place especially for children who have real dental needs, and you as the parent dont want to be bulldozed and constantly lied to.

Had a root canal done in 2011 and criwn on 2012. It fell off today 01/30/19. After contacting them, front office rep Ashley refused to give me warranty information. I went in person and spoke to manager and was told that the warranty is only 5 years, but could not produce written information regarding warranty. Front desk was vague and advised me I would be committing insurance fraud if I have unsurance and decided not to use it. This information was confirmed incorrect by an attrobey and the insurance company. My family used them for a few years until we stopped using them for rude customer service, recommendations that seemed excessive and now very poor quality work. Do not use it.

Abreika is my fiance but my name is Giovanni Clay and I havent been to the dentist in 6 years and I was scared already because its been that long but also I was concerned about even having my questions answered about problems I have with my teeth and Amen Alemayehu and Ms. Traci at 300 E. Little Creek Road in Norfolk, Va answered EVERYTHING and took GREAT CARE of my teeth! It was a little to no pain at all because I UNDERSTOOD MORE BECAUSE OF THEM!

Pretty sure this was the best dental experience Ive ever had :)

I find the entire staff to be friendly and accommodating.
