I have always been anxious about the dentist. It’s a phobia but as an adult it’s been easier to work through especially with a patient team!My dentist, Dr. Garcia, and her team have been 100% transparent, polite, gentle, and completely amazing!They would be our lifelong dentistry if we weren’t a military family. We will miss them and compare everyone in the future to this experience.

Fast talk you! Try there best to down your insurance before hand! Basically if you of Color they want your money out of pocket, and when they find out your insurance is GREAT they will up charge you like your insurance never existed! Color is a factor i promise you i felt so uncomfortable! (Famous for not telling you what your insurance even covers)

I was having pain in between my routine checkups. They scheduled an appointment for me quickly, took another x-ray, and checked the site area carefully. I was given mouthwash to use and it made the area feel better. I was not charged for the appointment because the area was where a recent filing was done. They were extremely kind and considerate. Experience was okay.... Ladies working the counter where amazing and friendly. Unfortunately, I must seek other dentist office. Locally around due to poor customer service and racial profiling. Don’t recommend this office for Vets/Active service members. Especially, if your trying to avoid going to the VA if you have double coverage.

What an amazing experience!! I just moved to the area and wasnt sure what to expect at all when suddenly needing dental work, having no idea where to start, I asked my only good friend in the area who referred me here. I greatly appreciate the recommendation because I went in terrified I would need way more extensive work than I did. Between my insurance and how well Konikoff looks out I went in scared and left with a teeth cleaning and more hope that I have a chance to save the part of my mouth that is damaged With the most minimal out of pocket cost possible and instead of needing surgery and implants they are going to be able to save was damaged. Every single person in office was super friendly and efficient they never once made me feel uncomfortable or like my mouth was embarrassing in anyway which I’ve always felt it was but especially so since I’m going in for a tooth breaking off...You surely won’t be disappointed going to this office 💖

On Monday I had a appointment to get my 7 year old daughters cavity filled. Great Job, as always by hygienists and Dr. Newman. I would also like to acknowledge Amanda D. who checked us out.My 5 year old son was with me as well, and loves the fish tank. I asked Amanda D. at check out if she knew what types of fish were in the tank. Amandas response was no, but our fish guy comes today. I can ask him and put a note in your file to let you know at the next appointment . I responded that would be great. Both my son and daughter want to know because we have been discussing getting a fish tank at home but they want the same fish in yalls tank .My children and I had only been home maybe a hour and a half when I received a call from Amanda D. Amanda D. informed me the fish guy was there and he gave her all the types of fish that were in the tank. Amanda D. told me she noticed the next scheduled appointment for my kids was not until January and did not think I would want to wait that long to find out.I thought that was AWESOME and well above and beyond customer service, especially for a dental office visit and I was inquiring about fish!! Not only did it make my day that she took time for a random fish inquiry, however, my 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter were excited as well!!Who says dentist visits are just about making smiles better by oral care? Amanda D. at Konikoff made smiles just by caring, and taking a few minutes out her day that most would not have thought twice about!!

Taken from a person who has never been a dentist fan... I’d even go so far as to say, I hated the dentist, I no longer dread my visits since becoming a patient of Dr. Newman’s. He is the coolest guy, and super friendly. He speaks with a lot of knowledge and really makes you feel like he cares about you as a patient. He remembers me every time and even remembers my aversion to the dentist(he is slowly chipping away at that). I go for a cleaning every six months and always look forward to chatting with him and the dental hygienists who are fabulous. I recently had a filling, and he made sure I was okay every step of the way because he knew how much anxiety it gave me. The wait is never long and they always get me in on time. I was in and out in 25 minutes for my recent filling. All in all, I can not recommend this office and doctor enough! They are so worth it!

Dr. Newman and his team are amazing! I was having an implant done and my retainer had to be replaced at the last minute. His team made me a new one on the spot. We also have a large family of 7 and they go out of their way to schedule all of us at one time for cleanings.

I had a hygiene appointment today that I was dreading and seriously considered calling to cancel. Ive been going there for years but my last hygiene appointment was awful. It hurt so bad. I had never experienced anything like that. Im not blaming the hygienist, it could have been issues with my gums. Well my hygienist today was Nancy and she was GREAT! She made me feel very comfortable and I felt absolutely no pain. I told her that I hope shes there when I go back in 6 months. Thanks Nancy and Dr. Newman for a wonderful experience.

From the front desk, to the hygienists to the dentists themselves, the staff is kind, courteous, dedicated, and professional. I have also been a patient at Konikoff Periodontics. Konikoff was referred to me by some friends after my past dentist office was not going to take my insurance any longer. Konikoff in Chesapeake, VA is by far the best dental office I have ever experienced. I can only go on Saturdays and they have always kept me informed when a spot has opened up. They have done a superb job with communication, accommodation, understanding, and so much more. The staff is amazing and I would recommend Konikoff to my family and friends.

One of my friend recommended to my wife and children to go this dentist. The office is always clean and nice setup. However, they repaired one cavity and 10 months later told to need a replacement for the crown. Call to the office to speaking to Doctor that why they put a filling knowing to needing a replacement in the first place? called multiple times and got never respond. would never go back to this dentist.

I had a great experience at the Battlefield Office.After experiencing a terrifying visit with another dental office, and not wanting to return to any dentist. After being away from any dentist in the past four years, I finally decided to give the Konikoff dental office on Battlefield Blvd an opportunity to work on my teeth. The dental tech was very gentle and courteous while working inside of my mouth.The Dr. was very knowledgeable and courteous.

My dentist primary concern was getting me out of pain, and developing a plan for future needed care that worked for me. The front desk staff was very patient with me being super clueless about my dental insurance, my dental hygenist was professional and personable, and the dentist was very kind and knowledgeable in the few minutes I saw her. I am an avid hater of teeth cleanings, but my experience at Konikoff was as good as a dental visit can be! I highly recommend them to everyone!

After neglecting the dentist for several years due to severe dental anxiety I finally had the courage to schedule an appointment. After searching on google for hours I narrowed it down to Konikoff dentistry on battlefield boulevard and I am so thankful that I did. On my first appointment I was an absolutely wreck but Nancy made me feel so comfortable. She is so patient and kind. Although I was very anxious she made me feel like it would be okay. Now I can finally sit in the dental chair with confidence. I would recommend the hygienist Nancy to anyone who is looking for a gental, compassionate hygienist. I love Konikoff Dentistry. The people are always very friendly. My two daughters also have their cleanings done at Konikoff and enjoy their visits each time. Cleanliness is very important to me, so seeing that the tools used are sanitized and everything wiped down before being used on us is also very important. I plan on keeping Konikoff as my dentist for a while.

This was my first ever visit to Konikoff and I was in a lot of pain from an infected molar, these ladies took me back within 5 minutes of my arrival, took an x-ray, did their assessment and went to work taking care of me. They obviously know their business and their teamwork together was focused and direct. I am 57 years of age and this by far was the best dental experience Ive had. Outstanding service, professional and they took care of me like I was a rock star. I had three teeth extracted. The molar in the back took an hour to get out. Dr. Gorman and Ashley make a good team. It was a long process and they were great. Now I have to wait for the partial plate to come in and the teeth added.I came to this office on the recommendation of a friend and I’m glad I did.

Amazing! Simply amazing! My girls and I have been going to them for almost 2 years after several failed attempts to find a good dentist. Stacey is so patient and kind with us and because of her, my girls are no longer fearful of the dentist. By far the best hygienist out there! As for out dentist, Dr. Muldoon is fantastic! Always clean, appointments are scheduled with ease (typically 3-4 of us at a scheduled block), and most importantly, the staff is amazing! Highly recommended!!!!

GREAT Experience! There was little to no wait time as I was promptly called back for my appointment. The hygienist was fantastic. She was friendly, thorough, and gentle. The dentist was also very good. I hate going to the dentist but my experience at Konikoff was excellent and I dont cringe at the thought of going back.

Waited 20-30 minutes before i was called for my appointment because they could not figure out my insurance as far as what I would have to pay but still sent me to the back told me my x rays and cleanings are 100% covered under the insurance company, Hygienist was great had my cleaning and x-rays & came to the front for them to tell me that I’m not covered under my policy and I had to pay $150. Which I thought was covered, I spoke to Dina the office manager I believe, asked her can she remove those charges due to miss communication at first she said she couldn’t until I broke it down to her how unprofessional it was and I’m also insured by the company where I get free cleanings and x rays it’s just that the services Was a permanent crown. she claim to had credited me back and apologized about the situation . Also she said she’ll get someone to call me b4 I come into my next appointment which was the following week to talk about pricing since they couldn’t quiet figure it out and didn’t want to have this problem again No one never called so I called and the receptionist was rude so at that point I don’t want to continue business and that’s what I told the young lady and politely end the call, I get a very rude voicemail that I still have about how I waisted their time for not showing up to my appointment ...... that last name was Dana I believe . I called and spoke to her and let her know how rude it was and could I speak to her boss which was Dina and let her know just to release my file, I never got a call back from neither ... horrible first experience .

Had a tooth extracted, and after the needle to numb, i had a small panic attack, Alisha Carr, the assistant, calmed me down, and turned it all around and eased me into the extraction, she is phenomenal. Ive rave about this place to everyone that compliments me on my smile; it happens so often that by now its a natural reflex!Everytime I walk into the building, I know Im going to receive professional quality service.The atmosphere in this dental office is so peaceful and serene. Probably due to their huge aquatic tank which always makes me giddy when I go in and see the bright colorful fish.The hygienist that recently performed my cleaning was exceptional! She is gentle, funny, and truly enjoys her work. From now on Im going to ask to see her every time I go in! Till then Ill hold wear my biggest smile and get prepared to tell people who ask about Konikoff!
