The therapist I had was amazing, she was nice and understood me and was the only therapist Ive ever been able to comfortably open up to. But when I went back they said I missed to many appointments even though my appointment sheet didnt have any new appointments on it and when we called the front desk lady said that they dont always put all the appointments on the sheet. I would really like to see that same therapist.
Well this place does not get my service and gets not a good rating. I called last Monday 6/14/2021 at 3:16pm, left a message. I received no call back that day and it was OK since I called after 2pm. Wednesday came around and I received no call. So I called back Wednesday 6/16/2021 at 9:30am. No answer and I left another message. My last voice mail stated that my child was being discharge the following week and I need to get my child scheduled. No return call. I called back today 6/21/2021 finally got someone on the phone, but the way she answered the phone just sounded like she did not want to be there or I was just bothering her. I asked if they were taking new patients and if they accepted my insurance. She responded yeah. I told her that our insurance was a deductible but we had met the deductible so our insurance was paying 100%. I was told I had to pay $50 each visit and then pay what ever my insurance did not pay. I told her again that that I do not owe anything because our insurance deductible was met. She said that was their policy and that is the way they do it. I let that go and asked when they were scheduling too and her response was whenever I can get you child scheduled, she would not give me a round about date until she put my child in the system with her attitude. At that time I told her do not worry about it I will find somewhere else and her response was OK.I was being referred to this place from an inpatient facility and word of mouth from a family friend. I called the family friend and asked how it normally is and I was told yes they have a new receptionist and it have been this way for about a month or so. I also told the inpatient facility Dr. and they were not happy about it. To be a mental health facility and want new patients your front desk person needs to be polite and help the parent as best as they can, but this was not the case and I am appalled by this. My child needed help and they were not going to get it from this place especially when my first impression and encounter was like this. So sad, so annoyed that people act like this when you are calling to get help.
This practice is very welcoming and organized. They are very professional from the providers to the receptionist. They are prompt on their response. I never wait more than a couple hours to hear back from them and they almost always pick up right away. Highly recommend this practice!
I first met Dr. Lumbard over 10 years ago. She was such an amazing person and doctor. I have switched doctors offices just to follow her because I trust her literally with my life. When she got her own practice, In Harmony Wellness, I was ecstatic. She has helped me get through some of the worst times of my adult life.The staff there is also extremely friendly and helpful. They don’t mind answering any and all questions and even if they don’t know, they won’t stop until they get the answer and fully help you.If you need refills they get the request sent over to Dr. Lumbard and she gets them filled right away. They don’t judge you at all no matter what you are going through because every person is different. The staff doesn’t just throw medicine at you or give you a generic statement to “help” you. They take the time to get to know each patient and devise a treatment plan that is right for each person. I don’t know where I would be right now if it was for Dr. Lumbard.I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone that I know or even someone that I meet in passing.
Wife scheduled an appointment and couldnt get anything for close to a month. Understandable, considering Covid and all that. On the day of her appointment that she took time off work for, they called needing to reschedule because the doctor had a personal issue come up. Again, understandable, but kinda frustrating because the next available appointment was more than a week later. Day of the appointment, the doctor called two hours late and explained that because he works for multiple offices, he was overbooked. Really? He couldnt be bothered to check his calendar and give a courtesy call or send a text or email? Sorry, but at this point weve crossed the line from understandable to unacceptable. Time is valuable, and this group has wasted too much of it.
* updated 6/2 of course after I leave a bad review they called right away. They claim they called me back on 5/25 and left a voice mail. I don’t have a missed call or voicemail from them. Regardless I have called and left three voicemails I originally called back on 5/21, 5/24 left a voicemail, 5/26 left a voicemail and finally left a voicemail 5/28. They finally called today 6/2 after I left a review.I can not rate them on therapeutic services I would just advise that if you are in crisis to approach with caution.I wish I could give more stars unfortunately I can not get anyone to call me back. It’s been two weeks, and 3 voicemails asking if they are accepting new patients and no return of my calls. Disappointing and definitely not a feeling when someone is reaching out for help wants to have.
Ive been seeing Cheryl for years and I have to say that shes the best. She actually cares about not only your mental health, but physical as well. I recommend her all the time and will continue to do so.
Attempted to set up an appointment because I was referred here by a friend... Danielle was very unhelpful in this process, & quite rude. While looking for a THERAPIST, customer service is something that should be held at the highest standard in order to ensure new patients feel welcome, she was the OPPOSITE of this, so unfortunately the 1 star is solely based on my experience with her, & is the reason I will be looking elsewhere.
I have been seeing Cheryl for years. I followed her from other practices to this one and I love it. I feel like it is more personable. I just started seeing Laura a few months ago and its been wonderful. I am not sure what the review below is about. Everytime i talk to Danielle she is so kind and my questions do not go un answered even if she has to ask she is always calling back so quick if its returning my call or giving me a response to a message that I requested to be sent. This entire practice is wonderful and I appreciate everyone in the practive.
Love Cheryl, she is friendly and willing to answer questions, very knowledgeable about meds and what not to take with other meds, Laura is great to talk to, friendly and personable
I have been a patient of Cheryl Lumbard for 16 years and I have had the most beneficial experience with her. She is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. She managed my condition in the best way and has also set me up with some incredible therapists. I could not be happier and would not go anywhere else!
