My experience with this company was terrible. My child had 4 different technicians over tge period of a year. The Program Director is extremely unprofessional and rude. I complained about an inappropriate comment an employee made to my son and he completely disregarded my concerns. His approach was very male chauvinistic and demeaning to me as a mother of child on the spectrum. I will report his behavior to the CEO of the company. And file any complaints. Please do not use this company for AB A services.

If you are looking for a professionalism and financial stability, then run away from this company as far as you can. CHS stopped paying wages to their employees for several pay periods. Two installment payments were made of insufficient amount and to this date owe the employees the remaining amount. Many employees have resigned due to the payment issue and forced to fight for their earned wages through the Department of Labor. When former employees call HR, they are told ever-changing dates when they will be paid or simply the phones are not answered and e-mails are ignored.Despite the lack of pay the employees still had to meet the required number of hours even when the therapists have no control over the number of direct hours with clients. CHS solution to this was to pressure RBTs to bill Medicaid for indirect hours. If the RBT refused to do so, CHS punished them by changing their employment status from full-time to part-time without prior notice and retroactively subtracted their pay. This is a very common practice in this company. I was forced to resign 4 months ago and have yet to be compensated for the remainder of my earned wages. They don’t care about the children’s treatment nor their progress, this is a money hungry company and you will have to make the money for them, no matter what.RBTs protect your credentials. I have witnessed many therapists have their credentials expire due to the high turnover of BCBAs and the high caseload assigned to them. CHS doesn’t consider this situation a big deal, as long you make the hours. If you care about your credentials and want a job that pays, do not apply. This company is not worth the risk.

I do not recommend working at CHS. There are some fantastic people that work here, however several of the corporate supervisors and the owners are misogynistic, narcissistic, hard-headed, and hypocritical. The core of the company is family-owned and operated, which they claim to have no impact on how they treat the remainder of their employees, however they are wrong. Employees are forced to work in an environment full of mold, roaches, slugs and snails, and flooded offices. The BCBAs that are hired here are treated incredibly poorly, run through the mud, and forced to engage in activities that are questionable to their license. Several of the BCBAs are forced to carry a case load of 75 clients, when the Board recommends 15. Owners demand RBTs provide service with no BCBA practicing in the company, which is illegal. Employees have not been paid on their pay-dates.
