Barnettes did a wonderful job on my new new engine, they were great and fast. Bridget did an awesome job with helping me through the ordering process and taking care of everything. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again.
Very accommodating and fast service, quality of work assured
The staff at Barnettes are friendly and down to earth. They are the kind of people you wanna run in to when your in unfamiliar territory....Like replacing the engine in your truck, and having to spend your savings to get it back in the road. They started building my engine when I placed a down payment and when it was finished they called me and let me know. When I went to pay the balance, they recommended an installer, at my request, of course. Both parties turned out to be very professional and reliable. Two things you need when your spending thousands of dallars. So far my truck runs like its new, and I dont foresee any issues. I recommend them for any engine building or machining.
They were super friendly and knew their stuff. They gave me a tour of the warehouse cuz I wanted to see what they use to rebuild the engines and how they look. They was happy to do so and I like what I saw. Their engines I had a great price and they drop them off. They also will come back and pick the old one up that is the core I can go 30 days. What more could you ask for. If I needed another engine I WILL be going back to them.
Better off getting a used engine from a junk yard then these guys.
First off, customer service was top notch! I was greeted with the greatest attitude and they catered to my every need. I was also given a tour of the facilities and shown with examples, everything that will be done to the components of my motor. Even though it is nearly 2 hours away from my home, it is well worth it in customer service alone. I would definitely recommend this machine shop to my friends and family.
As a local shop owner I just want to say that Barnetts is the best engine builder Ive ever used.Danny is so nice and knowledgeable about what he does. As well as Bridgett, she makes it a point to go above and beyond for her customers. It is nice to call and know exactly what is going on every step of the way. I have never had any issues with the engines I have installed from them. Even if I need a little help with a problem I have created they take the time to try and assist me with whatever the issue may be.I wont buy from anyone else cause no one else has this level of quality or customer service. Might aswell add that im sending another engine out to them today.Thank yall for being the best at what you do.
I purchased a engine... the engine came exactly as advertised and has been running flawlessly for 6 months now... very satisfied with the entire experience
Stephanie, Dan and Company did excellent job on building an engine for my vehicle. They were professional, helpful, and easy to talk and deal with. They were very knowledgeable with engines and recommendations on what to do. I am glad I found them and would highly recommend them to a friend. Great Job and thanks again!!!
I BOUGHT A MOTOR FROM YOU A YEAR AGO TO RESTORE MY CHEVY TRUCK THE 350 IS STILL RUNNING PERFECT AND NO ISSUES.I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED EVERYONE TO BUY MOTORS FROM BARNETTES ENGINES AND ALL MOTORS COME WITH A 5 YEAR WARRANTY. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
BUYER BEWARE. I should of listened to the reviews. Save yourself the headache and money !!
Terrible company. Horrible Customer Service. Even worse engines.
Have a car with a unique engine and had trouble finding a company that could answer the questions I had. They responded with specific part numbers to ensure I was getting the correct engine and were willing to spend the time answering all of my other questions. Barnettes also spoke to and answered any questions my repair shop had. Engine is now in my vehicle and running perfectly after break in. Thanks Barnettes!
ZERO STARS!! DONT DO BUSNIESS HERE!! THE WORST!!! DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THE WARRANTY!!!!You can do a better job at home with wood tools. If you want your engine built on a dirt floor this is your place. The machine work is pathetic and they will reuse any part they can to save a dollar even if it should be replaced. Anyone who rated this place 5 starts has not much engine experience.
Ordering the motor was so easy!! They didnt deliver the engine until the engine was properly put together and inspection to make sure everything was right for it to be installed!! Very highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!
Dealing with Barnettes company, has been an extremely pleasurable experience since my first call to them. I was looking for a Ford 6.0L reman to replace my 6.0L which was a no-start with needle bearings dispersed within the block. This was a toss-up between Blackwater, Barnettes or a long distance company like KDH, Asheville, JDM and so forth. I felt more comfortable with BRE and Blackwater never returned my calls which was par for their reviews.I spoke with Mr. Barnette as well his daughter on multiple occasions to coordinate delivery and core pick-up when the time came. His company was gracious enough to give me a little more time to swap out my parts from the Core as I am active duty & Uncle Sam required a lot of my time, atop of that I had to have my appendix removed. They worked with me, let me take my time (extra two weeks).Only negative as of now, is the gasket set was not that great and it came in a hodge podge of packaging with no directions, which if you ever worked on a motor before there are a lot of M8 1.25 bolts and a boat load of gaskets that are only a mil thicker than another, it can be VERY confusing. I mostly used the gaskets that came with FoMoCo ordered items like oil cooler, front cover and so forth. I did contact BRE about the gasket and getting some sort of inventory list and they contacted the gasket manufacture but couldnt give me an good idea. They did try, which was awesome. As of today I have not fired up the reman engine, but will be in the coming week. I will be sure to update this review after (hopefully successful start up). Overall, awesome company.
Although I can only rate up to a 5 I would rate them a 7!!! Joyce was the one that sold me the 4.7L Dodge Dakota engine and Bridgette sent me pictures of the actual engine they built for me. Ive never seen such a clean, new looking, rebuilt engine ever. I was hoping it ran as good as it looked and it EXCEEDED all my expectations. My truck runs better than ever. I cannot believe it runs soooo smooth and quiet! When we first went to start it, it fired up within a quarter revolution. Ive put 85 miles on it so far and I cant believe its the same truck. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Barnettes Remanufactured Engines for absolutely superior work, customer service, guidance and help. Joyce and Bridgette youre the best!!!Paul Clemente, Warren, MI
Very good experience....putting engine together now.... everything looks good so far
I was provided a quality remanufactured engine that I couldnt be happier with. Although a minor setback delayed shipping, I was kept in the loop at all times and staff members went out of their way to ensure the engine shipped as soon as possible. I was actually surprised to find out my mechanic received the product days before I thought he would.Something I never told Barnettes from the beginning was that I had previously ordered an engine from someone else (company will remain nameless but is headquartered out of Tulsa, OK), and had one of the most horrible customer service experiences of my life! This was not Barnettes responsibility and I did not want to burden them in any way by putting it out there. My only mistake here was to not choose Barnettes first! I was a fool for trying to save a few bucks. From beginning to end my experience has been nothing but pleasant and reassuring, for which I am especially grateful because of the circumstances endured prior to contacting them. Barnettes has made me a customer for life. One who will recommend them 10 out of 10 times. Thank you for the flawless engine, and for restoring my faith in the American small business. You guys rock!!!
Bought a replacement 3.7L longblock for jeep +5-years & 50K miles ago - still runs strong. Purchased on-line & pre-paid. Engine was delivered on time, as quoted, and according to spec - no hassle core return. Plug & play fitment, super easy replacement job. Thanks guys!
New engine runs awesome. Thank you to Bridgette for your assistance with my order and my tech questions and the guy/tech who built this engine and gave me the pointers for installation of that seal. Worked like a charm. I would recommend to anyone who wants top quality work, tech support, and a great warranty that I will never use due to quality all through everything.
Met Stephanie and her Dad who own the business. They were accurate, on time and the engine is perfect. I used VMP to install and Mike did a great job as well. The engine has been in a couple days but appears to be running like new. I would highly recommend both Barnettes and VMP auto for a job like this.
I bought a remanufactured long block engine from this company for over $4000 dollars. After only a year, a head gasket blew causing the engine to overheat. It was only in the red for less than a minute before I pulled off and shut the truck off. This company is refusing to honor their warranty because the heat tab is slightly melted. They claim that a head gasket cannot fail and cause the engine to overheat. They advertise a hassle free warranty which is not the case. From the beginning they were very difficult to deal with and gave me nothing but trouble.DO NOT BUY AN ENGINE FROM THIS COMPANY! They will find any excuse to refuse to honor their warranty.
Best priced engine and best warranty I could find. I will be referring everyone I know to them. When you call ask for Joyce she made the process whole process easy and was very helpful.
We received the engine in the time that we were told that it would be delivered in a nice engine crate, which is also used for the core return. The engine looked new & was just what we were looking for. We installed the engine and it ran great. We will order again i am sure. Thank you for being there for us.
Using Ebay, I located the engine that I needed for my 08 Toyota Sequoia. Barnettes price was $3200 less than the Toyota dealership expressed to me. The engine was delivered to Toyota, they performed the rebuild and sent the core back to Barnette.Knowledgeable staff will help with all a customer may need and other than the price of any engine block...painless.
Yesterday was the first real opportunity to test drive my wifes car with the rebuilt engine. The car ran better than when it was new. Quieter and smoother. Very pleased with the performance of the new engine and more than pleased with the service and professionalism of all at Barnettes. Thank you all so much.
I had a few problem but because Barnetts did not do the installation it was hard to determine who to call. If Barnetts would check behind the installer then the customer would know who is responsible for addressing the problem.
Buyer Beware. I have tried for months for the owner or someone to honor the warranty. I have a defective block, i have paid out of my own pocket to try to fix the oil leak and the company refuses to honor their warranty . VERY Bad Business. A warranty is only as good as the company or person behind the warranty. Good Marketing, BAD BUSINESS. I have tried for months to get them to send someone to look at the problem with no response. NOW it is time to take legal action!
After dealing with several distributors we found Barnettes engine on line and they help to get us an engine and out of a jamb. Although shipping took a little longer than anticipated, it all worked out. Thank you and we will use them again in the future should the need arise
Dan, Bridgett, and Company are terrific -- they did an outstanding job building a 6.0L Powerstroke long block for me just recently including ARP studs, Powermaxx aluminum heads. Their attention to detail and knowledge of these diesel engines is excellent. Shop turnaround is fast and they deliver at the time/date requested. This is a family run business and they are courteous, professional, easy to talk to and deal with --- real pros and I have five other projects heading their way soon.
These guys are great. Only gave the 4 stars because nobody is perfect. The customer service, I think her name is Stephanie was excellent. Great communication and concise. Engine came as promised. Had one issue, when I went to put the spark plugs in I had a problem with the #1 cylinder the plug would not go in, come to find out there was a snap on compression tester adaptor in there. On the plus side it tells me they did a compression test on the cylinders before the engine got shipped. As for the engine, it is approaching 6K miles and have not had any issues at all. Would recommend Barnetts for a remanufactured engine to others.
Do not use Barnettes. I made a big, expensive mistake. My rebuilt engine from Barnettes lasted 19,000 miles before blowing a head gasket. Even though the problem happened in the 4th year of the 5-year warranty time frame, the warranty was worth nothing. I got a poor product with a meaningless warranty.I wish I would have read some of these reviews before buying my engine. There is a pattern. If the engine has a problem (and apparently several do), dont expect to get anything from the warranty. I wonder what percentage of the warranty claims actually get executed.
Company has terrible customer service, employees are poorly trained and owner was extremely rude when I would inquire about the progress of my engine build. Poor management within this company and had numerous problems with parts during the build process. My only hope is that the engine holds up or at least the company holds up to their 5yr hassle free warranty that they rave so highly about.
Barnette replaced my 1990 Jeep Wagoneer engine. The new (rebuilt) engine has been flawless. It runs strong and without issue. Its like it never happened. Barnetts listened and cared about the outcome. They communicated throughout the process. I hope I dont need an engine for another vehicle, but it will come from Barnettes if so.
HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. In short the car is no longer running. Get a professional that you trust to do it right. Better yet just buy a new car and avoid the possible catastrophic failure of your dream car. I feel like mechanics get a bad reputation but its hard to not feel that way when you get burned.
While my 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 LS1 with approximately 287,000 miles traveled was out of my possession, someone forced a hydolocking [excess gasoline to one cylinder] engine to run at high speed which caused one connecting rod to break and two rods to bend. The broken connecting rod hit the engine block causing two holes andcracking the oil pan.I had the car in a repair shop unaware of the extent of the damage. I elected to have the engine sent to Barnette’s NOT knowing the block was broken. Before shipping the engine to Barnette’s, the shop sent photographs of the block to Joyce, who becameconcerned as this information was not previously revealed to Barnette’s by the repair shop.Barnette’s was eager to fix the engine and directed the repair shop to send the engineincluding the oil pan. The block was not UN-repairable and finding a suitable LS1 core proved difficult taking several weeks, but Barnette’s held to their original quotation of rebuilding the engine with a replacement block AND oil pan.I now have approximately 8,000 miles on the engine getting up to 26 miles per gallon onexpressway/construction zone/city driving with the A/C in use. My old engine, which went about 287,000 miles before being ruined outside my possession, got up to 30 plus miles per gallon on pure expressway driving.I know from working with Barnette’s that Barnette’s WILL stand behind Barnette’swork. In addition, in extreme emergency [car strut housing broke 100 miles from home]; Barnette’s helped a Ford dealer get parts for the car to get me back home.Joyce said I am Barnette’s friend for life and that is absolutely true.
Most everything went well except the pick up process for the core. Great phone conversations, the gal I spoke with when ordering knew her stuff. Delivery went well, except I did not receive a call for a drop off date, I had to call again. The first call for core pick up some guy dropped the ball and did not pull the order, not a huge ordeal. I had to pick up the motor from the location and make arrangements for another date. The gal I spoke with for the second date promptly pulled the paperwork and we set-up a new date. Everything went smooth. This slight hiccup would not stop me from recommending or purchasing another motor from Barnettes in the future. The 3.4 Chevy engine runs GREAT.
The people at Barnette`s are very friendly and knowledgeable about their engines . The build time and delivery was very quick .
They do fine work here its just kind of dirty and not up to date on all the equipment. But they really do a good job and a great inventory of engines on standby to rebuild for you as you are sending in your old engine.
Ive been installing Barnett engines for four years!! Havent got a bad one yet.you just got to install them right lol..thank you Danny and all the crew for your services!!😎
Terrible experience do not go through this company. They may be a few bucks cheaper but it isnt worth it. I ordered my engine over a month ago and I still havent gotten it. Its build to order and they put the wrong heads on. Bridget the woman I spoke on the phone said it was getting shipped back to them so they could fix it and that they would pay for the next day freight delivery back to me. They told me they shipped it back out over a week and a half ago and the freight company finally called me to SET UP a day for delivery. 32 days later and it looks like Ill finally have my motor and can start working on my truck.
Truck is running GREAT! Service was excellent.
Engine shipped quickly. Price was great. Engine running strong
The engine is great so far the shop i had put in well now they sucked i had to fix all their screw ups but Barnett customer service was great i did bug them a lot had a lot of questions but they did awesome and got back to me fast Id recommend them to anyone and the best price and warranty around.
5. I purchased a 4.2 Trailblazer motor recently and customer service was outstanding and great turn around time couldnt be happier.
This company does not stand by there warranty. I had a head problem on start up. when i pulled the head I found that not all the valves where replaced on the rebuild. I called took pitchers followed there procedure for the repair. i sent in a bill for the head work and my labor. it has been six months many call to them and nothing. I am still sitting on the core they will not pick it up for the core price I paid as well. I would stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last week i posted a review on how barnetts did not follow through with there end of the deal and how unresposible they are. Long story short i sold them a block that they needed hoping to try to build a relationship and continue further buisness. After i posted that the owner tried to bull-doze me and tell me he was going to take me to court because I made a false statement and was holding the check. so now im posting this again because i removed my comment and tried to talk it over with him again and he said he would send a check but yet to still see anything. I am also owed warranty labor money from a while back as well, but will probably never see that either! They will not stand behind there work enough said there! If anyone has any questions about my issue feel free to send a message!
I Would give them a 4.7 star for the delay of recieving my engine on the date promised. It took an additional two weeks from promise date. It cost me more on the rental car and a supprize 1/2 of a core charge. The engine runs great and only have one minor drip of oil coming from the new engine that I spotted while changing the oil. I dont have the time or money to have it exchanged, so I will just live with it. I would, however, recomend their engines to anyone who may be needing one.
Reason for using Barnett - 5 year unlimited mileage warranty - Reason for this bad review - the quality of Barnetts work is non-existent, their warranty is worthless, and they do not understand what a time table is -the motor is now dead after only 18,000 miles !First I purchased a re-manufactured motor for my 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder - Barnett sent me a Corolla motor with engine mounts for a front mount motor - PROBLEM: the MR2 is a mid engine set up. The motor could not be put into the car. I contacted them and after quite some hassle, I sent them my motor for rebuild and they deducted the shipping charges. They told me 10 days for the rebuild so a month later the motor came back to be installed - oops, 20 days past the quoted date - add the 20 days to the incorrect engine being shipped the first time and now we are 5 weeks past their quoted date - I had to speak with their dept head too many times....I paid premium $ to rebuild my 1ZZFE 1.8 liter motor- went through the hassle of shipping the core to Virginia.....the motor I got back ran ok BUT was consuming oil at 1 quart every 10 days. Now with 18,000 miles on the Barnetts re-manufactured motor, cylinder # 2 is bad - cost to fix it approximately $2,200 - I can NOT recommend Barnetts to anybody. If I could give them a review of 0 stars I would because that is what they deserve. I am now purchasing a low mileage used motor for the car. It is not worth it to even contact Barnett..their quality control is non existent -Whatever happened to pride in workmanship? Whatever happened to a job well done? Whatever happened to honoring ones commitment ?Whatever happened to integrity? I dont think Barnett understands these phrases. Sad, but true.
Barrents is only shop Ill use for machine work on engines customer service is best Ive seen and I trust the work they do. Any problem that has came up either my fault or theirs have been resolved quickly and without issue and only problems Ive had have been wrong parts ordered usually my fault and barrents have got the rights parts no problem. THANKS BARRENTS!
Everyone was friendly and helpful! Remanufactured engine look great and happy with shipping. thanks!
Doesn’t know how engines work told me over the phone that he’s just a machinist and then won’t cover his own warrenty there was rust in a brand new rebuilt engine there valve failed and they won’t cover it terrible company try’s to fight with you every time you call don’t do business with them
Excellent service! Excellent product! I would highly recommend...My reman engine from Barnettes ran better than my original engine....
GOOD COSTUMER SERVICE FAST SHIPPINGVERY GOOD QUALITY PARTS
I GOT MY ENGINE AND IT’S A THING OF BEAUTY!!! I will let know how it runs. Thanks Much
Ordered 318 heads truck running better than ever. Will continue to be my go to engine shop for my fleet.
4.0 ford engine timing chain failure on right side . Fail twice . No customer service
Bought a re-manufactured 4.0 L Jeep long lock. Very happy have recommended to others.
This was an engine out of a 73 Cadillac Eldorado convertible (500cid)Barnet people were very helpful and knowledgeable about this old style engine. There willing to answer any questions about the installation.Other work done; p/s gear box, shocks and a/c. Very happy with everything. We would recommend Barnet to other shops, and have
We got the engine we wanted, on time, and got great advice for the install.
Truck runs awesome, thank you for you help!It has been a pleasure doing business with you so far!
I bought engine here never ran right from the start and when I called about it I got a bunch of oh check this and check that even though the problem is eternal warranty sucks I would not recommend to anyone I did all the checking they told me to do and still bad product than the owner offers me to pull it and ship it for my money so he can maybe fix it like I said no honor behind their business!
It sounds like these all guys very good quality
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! NO WARRANTY!! These are like dollar store engines You get what you pay for go far and beyond here
Well...where do I begin? I hope this does Mr. Barnette, Joyce & every single professional who worked on my issue the justice they deserve in this review.First, I want to say that I believe the engine I ordered, VQ35DE 3.5l 6cyl 2003 Pathfinder was 100% Sound. I also want to say this company paid for all the issue corrections, labor & service. They paid for half the cost of rental vehicles. I paid the remainder - $1800 out of pocket. They went over their work as well as the 1st installers work ( K & G Affordable Auto) more than once. (Stopped working with K & G but Valarie from K & G would say they are there all the time?)This entire venture lasted 4 months. It started on the request for services from both companies the last 2 weeks of April 2016 through 22 July 2016 when I FINALLY picked up the vehicle from Mr. Barnette. On the 1st delivery date - around the May holiday, which was late, I had to pay for a plane ticket to come back from Fort Knox to pick it up from K & G Affordable Auto - $421 (never reimbursed). As I was headed back out for the 10hr drive through the West Virginia Turnpike & before I got out of Hampton Roads the engine went into Limp Mode.K & G owner really didnt know what he was doing in the diagnostics & tried to give the vehicle back to me. I refused to take it without the engine being installed correctly. No one wants to be stuck on he WV Turnpike in the middle of the night...So, back to rental vehicles I went on that 10hr drive for a 5 week course through the holiday weekend in May. During this time the K & G owner kept it & it went into Limp Mode on him during a trip to NC.K & G really didnt check their installation. It seems like the owner (who you never get to talk to on the phone) threw his hands up at it & yelled for Barnettes to find out what was going on. So, the fact that I already paid allowed this to occur. K & G got their money for a job NOT completed & they passed the buck to Barnettes.Every time I called K & G Valarie would pass me off to Mr. Barnette. After weeks of back & forth, I learned that Barnettes had tried to pick the vehicle up to bring it to their shop (which is NOT a mechanic shop) & was told by K & G that the vehicle was trapped so they couldnt get to it until after the weekend. (Really?)Once Barnettes got the vehicle they took weeks of going through this engine thinking it was an engine problem, being on the phone with Nissan Techs thinking it was an engine problem (b/c they didnt feel the need to question K & Gs work thinking K & G checked everything on their end), Barnettes & the Nissan Techs found that it was NOT an engine problem. It was an engine component problem - Solenoid Gasket Set group of components which affect oil pressure (which is supposed to be handled during installation). This part information comes direct from Mr. Barnette who kept the old parts & is based on the actual new part I was shown on the front component of my engine (as K & G said they replaced these components...).K & G Affordable Auto 4950 Bainbridge Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320 did the first installation - which is an issue all on its own as you read (Ill put on their review so youll probably want to look in on that & save yourself the headache). I dont know who did the 2nd - yes, the 2nd installation (which tore the rear main seal Im coming out of pocket for now). So, around 22 July, I drove back down from my PCS move, I got in my vehicle & drove it like I stole it with Mr. Barnette as my passenger. It survived the test. I was advised the fuel gauge stopped functioning correctly so I have to keep an eye on my fuel so that at 288 miles I need to be getting gas. Mr. Barnette & his staff actually kept tract of the mileage for me.Excellent staff with incredible wealth of knowledge as well as resources. They gang together on an issue & dont stop until they find the solution. They just have to choose their labor partners a little better to save themselves & the customer money as well as a huge headache.
I am writing to you and your company to thank you for the outstanding service in helping us to purchase a stellaar remanufactured engine from Barnettes. This truck serves our company in many ways, such as carrying equipment to job sites, meeting customers, sending personnel to Test, Adjust and Balance projects.I, also, want to thank you Joyce for the outstanding service you gave to me. You advised me fully to help identify my engine, was patient with me and you were very personable making the purchase process very easy. One would have to acknowledge that everyone of Barnettes is professional; know how to do their jobs and kep the customers needs first.Since the instalation of this engine the truck has never run better except, perhaps, when the truck rolled off the assembly line. The engine we received was beautifully remanufactured and looked as good as it runs. It has performed Rowlessly since it was installed and my gas mileage has increased by 10-12%. I attribute this superb performance on the outstanding skill and attention to detail by the workers who helped to rebuiled the engine. I cannot thank you enough and Ive referred many people to ou. I WILL be purchasing another engine from your establishment in the next couple of weeks and I know that it will perform as well as this purchase has.Again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
The service was fast, and professional, I am very satisfied with Barnettes products, at this time.
Warrnty is no good had engine processional installed provideed head studs to them no issues ever mention about head studs, 200 Mrs engine blew head gasket they claimed it was head studs but provided no evidence
I read some bad reviews on this shop but took a chance. It took them two months to get my engine back to me and when it arrived it had broken parts and such. overall its not worth fixing and im out even more money.
Very happy with engine .Will buy again 5 Stars
I received a 6.0L Ford Diesel engine (long block) from Barnette engines recently and was proceeding with installation only to find that the pushrods were installed upside down with the copper ends into the lifters and there was not a primary crankshaft flange on the rear of the crankshaft. Per Ford Motor Company, under no circumstances should that piece be removed as it is factory installed and balanced with the crankshaft. Contacted Barnette engines and was told that all of their engines are sent out that way. WOW! Really!? Also was not offered any recourse over having to correct the pushrod installation and was told Im not sure what happened there . The whole experience (including the engine being lost for nearly a month, engine set on the oil pump gears which damaged them, pushrods installed upside down, crankshaft primary flange not left on the crankshaft, and the whole thats just the way it is attitude from Barnettes engine) would certainly lead me to advise you to never buy an engine from this company. Also, there are so many disclaimers with the paper work that I would imagine you would never get them to warranty any defect of their product.
The experience was very easy and all though it was not a good situation they made the best of it. I just sent my engine back so hopefully there will be no hidden cost or fees.
Horrifying experience in dealing with this company. BUYER BEWARE. Engine blew up after two years and was under a 5 year warranty. Company has refused to stand behind their warranty leaving us no choice but to file a law suit against them.
I had an engine redone by Barnettes and it runs great!! I highly recommend them!!
Bridget and Dan are great to work with.
They took the time to help me on some old parts I need it
This company flat out sucks I bought to motors at the same time both lasted for about three months same problem with both and they didnt stand behind their work complete waste of time and money THEY REALLY SUCK
Products seems to be very reliable
The motor looks like it was rebuilt as described
Bought an engine from this place and less than 20000 miles it died. Gave me a run around on my warranty and kept my heads that I shipped upon request. After many fall calls and people impersonating to be the owner i gave up. People who so this type of business will not prosper.
Not reliable
Engine broke in 15 mile under warranty tried to charge another $1200 to fix THEIR mistake stay away DISHONEST INCOMPETENT
Awesome and professional service
Everything was good.
Great
