WSC installed a very sophisticated Control-4 home-entertainment system roughly eleven months ago. Included in the process, a large screen TV in the living room, with three recessed speakers; a Nest camera and doorbell for the front entryway, and two Nest learning thermostats regulating heat and air conditioning both downstairs and upstairs. Additionally, they enhanced our multi-component Wi-Fi system, increasing both speed and coverage within our home. Was it a bit intimidating as a customer making the switch from ordinary, commonplace-but-understood components to a far more ambitious, state-of-the-art system? Of course. Was it inexpensive? Of course not. Quality costs. Was/is there a train-up and learning curve? Of course. Yet, through the entire process, and the inevitable glitches that will arise, Chris, the owner, and Shawn, both extraordinarily capable technicians, were responsive, intent not just on rectifying the problem, but ensuring everything else was working well. I highly recommend them.

WSC mounted and installed two TVs for me. They were quick and courteous. They cleaned up after they were done, explained all the functions of the tv and did a great job. Highly recommend.

WSC installed a control 4 multi zone theatre system in my newly built home in two phases. Sean and Chris installed our big screen TV, stereo, Wii, Apple TV, multiple speakers, and DVD Player into one easy-to-use universal-remote system many years ago. They were professional and knowledgeable and made sure we understood our system completely. Even though they spent a lot of time setting it up, the cost was a great value.Recently, my husband and I tried to make an adjustment to the system and messed things up a little. We had Sean come back out, and he easily fixed our problems and added some new features. He did it quickly, professionally, and patiently explained everything to me that I needed to know.He added some new features for us as well and even though I asked about different new devices, he didnt try to sell me on them but recommended that I not purchase them at this time. WSC is AWESOME. The night before another business who claimed to be professional.. mounted my mount backwards to my television and charged me unfairly. WSC right away discovered what was wrong when they walked into my home. They fixed it, gave me a new mount, and eased my headache. WSC mounted a TV on the wall and routed the associated cablesto a closet in a different room. I received a quote from a DIFFERENT company who wanted to charge ~$1900 in labor alone. Much of this cost was to repair drywall they thought needed to be removed in order to perform the work. The team performing the installation was professional and efficient and the only holes in our drywall were the ones needed to install the new outlet boxes. Chris took some extra time when he came out for the quote to offer some size recommendations for when we decide to upgrade in the future.Highly recommend WSC for your home audio/video needs.

Impossible to get a hold of. very unprofessional. my partner had tried emailing, calling, and even texting. he comes out LATE (never called to said he was running late. i had taken off work and re arranged my whole day for him to come out) to give me a free estimate and then never calls back with said estimate. basically, you have to hunt him down to get your free estimate. i wanted to go with this company bc a friend recommended them to me, but after speaking with my friend about the issues i was having with the owner. he took back his positive word of mouth because of the SAME reasonings. my friend had spent close to $20,000 with this company but was impossible to get ahold of when he had installed equipment that apparently never works. we have both decided to go with a better, more professional company. someone that understands the importance, and respects other peoples time. and someone that knows how to communicate. i mean the OWNER of this company was the one that came out to give me my estimate that i never received. the OWNER was late without saying anything. the OWNER himself had admitted to my friend (his previous customer) that he just forgets... so you come to peoples houses late with 0 regard of their time. and then forgets to give the estimate? or even write one up? did you forget you were even here at my home chris? i dont understand. my friend had also written a similar review to mine and Chris, THE OWNER- went in and DELETED HIS REVIEW AND CHANGED HIS 1 STAR TO A 5. I DIDNT EVEN KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT. makes me 2nd guess every company, knowing that the owners can just go in delete, and edit their companys own reviews. UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE, FRAUD. needless to say, ill be checking back on here frequently to see if hes deleted MY review and changed my 1 star, to 5. SAVE YOUR TIME, $, AND ENERGY. Most strongly recommend WSC for any home audio, home automation and home security needs. Chris, Sean and their team designed and installed a whole house Control4 system within a reasonable cost. Our system included security cameras, automation for our lighting, pool, garage, door locks and irrigation system, whole house audio including outdoor pool speakers, home theater, internet, and whole house intercom through Control4 touch screens.We selected WSC out of a pool of four local home audio companies primarily due to the hands on customer service. Chris and Sean are very responsive and will actually answer the phone when called (compared other Hampton Roads contractors who do not answer calls). Weekly updates were provided during construction and any time I had questions regarding my system, Chris and Sean would answer and resolve our problems within 24 hours.I look forward to continuing a business relationship with WSC. They are true geniuses easily networking my TVs, surround sound, outdoor speakers, Direct TV, game consoles, and blu-ray player into a simple easy to use remote network. Chris (owner) is truly passionate about his profession, a perfectionist, and is extremely knowledgeable about the latest tech regarding home theater. He recommended ideal equipment for my needs.Their follow-up is amazing as well. WSC installed/wired/programmed the surrounds and rear surrounds as well as four height channel speakers in a complete 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos Surround Sound setup (I already had the tower fronts and center channel) and put in a Control4 system for control of the home theater. Chris and Shaun are responsive to customer needs, and are experts in their fields. The installers they sent out to put in the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers were fun, courteous, professional, and also demonstrated expertise in their craft. They found innovative solutions to installation difficulties, and clean up was quick and complete. The installation sounds fantastic, and I finally have the Atmos Surround I wanted. Dont skimp on tower mounted upward-firing speakers. The guys at WSC can put in the ceiling speakers and make Atmos sound the way it should. This company does fine work at a reasonable price, and supports the customer after the install. They also work hard ahead of time to make sure they know what you want, what your expectations are, and to make sure all the details are worked out before the installers arrive. Have a professional installation done by a local company! What more could you ask for?Knowledgeable, courteous staff made my dream come true with a wall mount of the tv, surround sound speakers, great Denon receiver and Sony blu ray dvd player. All my boxes are recessed in the wall underneath the tv for a seamless appearance. These guys are considerate of your home; painting wall speaker mounts the color of the walls, always vacuuming afterwards.
