This is the only nail salon i go to! I would recommend calling ahead and checking to see what the estimated wait time is if you’re planning on going in as a walk-in, just for courtesy reasons! Anytime i go in, with an appointment or as a walk in, i am ALWAYS greeted and instructed on where to go next. everyone is great! Sam is awesome! always does phenomenal job!

Absolutely LOVE them, especially Seven. I get my nails SUPER long and coffin shape. My nails don’t lift and the space is ALWAYS perfect. I’m past due for a fill in & all my nails are still going strong. Would highly recommend. Added pics from my last two sets plus current (needing a fill in).

First experience with a nail salon in the Chattanooga area and was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend making an appointment because this spa is very busy. I read reviews and decided to book an appt with Mia. I went in wanting a specific design and shape and she was wonderful throughout my visit. She understood and delivered exactly what I was looking for. I’ve had my nails on for over a month now and they are still holding up really well. I will be seeing Mia again soon!

I went for the first time today with my 6 year old daughter.We were greeted at the door by a gentleman that directed us where to go. Efficient! Destiny had my daughters nails done by the time I picked my color and they were adorable. The time it took to take off my old set give me a new one reshape and paint was AMAZING. Fast, efficient, exactly what I asked for! Also a plus she told me how much it would cost before she did anything so no surprises at the register! After 4 years I think I’ve FINALLY found my place 🙌🏼

My mother in law talked me into getting pedicures this morning. We were walk ins and it was my first time here. The place smelled good when I walked in. It was noticeably very clean. The front desk was very sweet upon check in. I was directed to wash my hands then pick a polish color. I upgraded to gel. Then I was lead to a chair to sit in. Lucy did my pedicure and was very nice and made me feel very cared for. By the end of the pedicure I had decided to add a manicure. Lucy rolled with my impromptu change. She made sure I was happy with my color before moving on to the next step of the pedicure/manicure. All in all I had a great experience and I definitely recommend.

This place is the best! I recently moved to VA and nothing there compares! I come back to TN just to have Pauline do my nails 💖 she is the best & Zen is the best salon!

They had bad manners; I conveyed to the lady before we started the service that I wanted to have my dead skin cut and she said “yes, we can do that” but only later does the person working on me tell me they don’t cut it. Whattttt..???? They are very rude, and not customer-oriented!!I cant recommend this place!!Bad service and rude!

Been going here for 3 years. Took me several salons to find Zen and they are the best in the Chatt. Love my girl Cina. I get dip manicures, regular polish pedicures monthly.

I really enjoy going to Zen. There aren’t a lot of nail salons in Chattanooga that I enjoy going to but this one is top tier! Customer service is always amazing and I can tell that they try to be fully staffed to ensure that customers are not waiting too long. The complimentary drinks are also a plus! I’d definitely recommend. :)

I love coming to Zen Nail Spa. It has a clean and professional atmosphere. The only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes it is crowded and busy, and hard to fully relax with so many people around. Otherwise, the services that are provided are great. Lucy gives wonderful pedicures and is so sweet and funny!

I made my first appointment with Cina months ago and she has been my technician ever since. In her absence, Emily has never failed to bring it! These ladies have a true talent and take pride in their work. My mom and I go for appointments, probably sooner than required, and we have loved every experience.

I got my nails dipped today and they look GREAT!! I wanted my natural nails, and Mia helped me decide the shape I should do. I selected a color and Mia let me know it wouldn’t come out like that, which I greatly appreciated instead of her just doing it bc I asked. We finally found the color I wanted and she did a phenomenal job on them. I was so nervous my nails wouldn’t look good because they are flat and thin but she made them look better than any manicure I’ve ever had! Thank you so much!

You know a nail salon is good when the place is packed 30 minutes after opening. Keep in mind it was a Friday. There’s more than 30 technicians and they are expanding to include the space next door. I’ve never been disappointed going Zen nails.

My daughter (12) and I are new to the area and were looking for a new nail salon. Im so pleased to have found this place. They were personable and professional, quick to serve without feeling rushed. Overall service and quality was excellent, the spa itself was clean and tidy, and everyone we encountered had a smile on their faces. We will definitely be back. Special thanks to Jessy and Eric. Doesn’t matter how busy, I get take care of rather quickly. It’s nice to get immediate attention even if you have to wait. Aesthetically pleasing and they offer beverages.

My second visit. The first time I waited 30 minutes to get another person to do my manicure. I guess it was a misunderstanding. Went back to try again on Friday. Used the same person again. Was asked to pay before he completed my manicure. Wow, must have been another misunderstanding. So between visits I have spent at least $130. I guess I will try another place to see how well I understand what my money is worth. So very disappointed.

Jessy/Jessica did an amazing job with my gel nails today! She was very careful and did exactly what I asked. She was easy to communicate with and everything was super clean!I took off a star because the manager was making me very uncomfortable. He was yelling at Jessy to hurry up and saying that she was taking too long. I understand it’s a busy place, but Jessy was hand painting French tips on my nails with polish. This obviously is going to take longer than a normal gel polish. He was very rude and passive aggressive to her and raised his voice from across the room. There was really no way Jessy could have done my nails in any less time! These employees should not be rushed and it should be a GOOD thing for them to be careful and detail oriented!

I would definitely recommend Ryan! He was gentle & actually listened to what I wanted. Im not from here, but when I come back I will request him again. They are a busy nail salon, so I would personally recommend going during the week & early if you can.

After trying several different nail salons over the years I finally found one that is consistent, friendly, clean, and reasonable! I have been with Zen for at least 3 years now if not a little more.

I have tried numerous nail salons and technicians over the years. Zen nail spa was so clean and felt like I was at a spa. My dip manicure lasted 3 weeks and never chipped. I had so many compliments on it!!

They were very friendly and did a good job with everything except the polish. It looks kinda bad. Probably wont return.*Edit*The manager asked me to return the next day and she did a wonderful job on my nails.

The appointment started on time as always and Van worked on my nails until they were perfect. They are always busy and customers leave happy.

This was only my second time here at the salon, and both instances the service was EXTREMELY RUSHED. I love the cleanliness of the spa so decided to go back after my first time. This instance, I asked for a acrylic fill in with regular polish and even made an appointment online with a representative with Timmy because of some of the good reviews I read about his service. I walked in, informed them of my appointment and was redirected to the manager instead who got up twice during my manicure to work the front even though several employees were on the floor, the nail polish is not uniformed on my nails and they weren’t even cleaned up afterwards. I just left and have to clean out the acrylic powder and particles from nail bed now at home and file away the parts that were painted onto my skin. Also, when I was there I was only offered water while everyone else around me was drinking sodas, wine and champagne. I NEVER leave reviews but just after this second experience, I highly doubt I’ll return.

I have been to a few places in Chattanooga for pedicures and Zen is by far my favorite. I keep coming back. The polish always lasts a very long time compared to other places and the technicians are friendly and fun to talk to. Also love the atmosphere.

On an extremely busy day, the service was exceptional. There was little to no wait time. Our experience was great from the time we stepped in the door. Everyone was great.

Overall my experience was very good; however, when I said to the person who seated me that my water was not warm, he responded, we will take of it later and he kept walking. The person who was already serviceing another person reached over and took care of it right then! If I had to change anything, it would be the first persons lack of response to my complaint.

I went in for a pedicure and eyebrow wax today. Ian did my pedicure in 12 min. The girl next to me even joked about how quick mine was.I’m highly dissatisfied. I’ve been going to Zen for a long time.The Receptionist was super sweet. She partnered with the other woman running the front desk. That women told the receptionist that it was definitely not 12 minutes IN FRONT of me. I am a retail manager and I would never speak like that in front of a client. After I told her that I’ve been coming for years and that I wouldn’t lie about the time, she only gave me $10 off. I’m hesitating ever returning. She was unprofessional and rude.

I went in for a full set, coffin shape and Nathan did a horrible job. The quality was very poor, so poor that another tech had to come and complete the job. I ended up going to a different place just to soak them off, literally within 15 min of leaving Zen.

A little disappointed! Sat around for over 35 mins for my appointment. Not easy after back surgery in a back brace. Once the technician finished it had been 2 hours! The foot massage was not great. Gel on nails peeling off after a few days. Not worth the price or wait.

This is my go to nail salon. I go about every 4 weeks for SNS dip manicure ($40). The staff is friendly. The salon is clean and there are so many color choices for regular, gel, and dip. Really professional manicurists; you cant go wrong with anyone.

Updating my review. Since my last review 3 months ago the level and quality has went down. I have to repeatedly go back to get fixes because my polish or dip gel chips badly. Their response always is for you to inconvenience yourself and come back to get your nails fixed. Im past that. I have referred as well and the experience was AWFUL. I have to go back to get them to fix again and its exhausting. They need to SLOW DOWN and do better quality work!!!!!

I went into this nail salon for a gel FILL-IN on February 1st. I was charged $55, which in and of itself was outrageous because that’s how much you pay for a full set. Anyhow, the very next day one of the nails broke off while I was opening a cabinet in my home (a simple task that I do everyday). I went to the mall the next day and got it fixed for $7. I hadn’t left the nail salon but for TEN minutes when the SECOND nail broke off while I was trying on a shoe in Footaction so I had to return and pay another $7. They made my nails so thin that they broke off doing simple everyday tasks. I needed a fill-in less than a week after they were done. To end up having to pay over $70 for a fill-in is not only shame and a scandal but it’s a rip off. Cheap products are used and these nail techs are basically trying to make all of their money off of one person. Quality doesn’t exist anymore, it’s all about a dollar. I would not recommend nor will I return.

Sadly most of the nail technicians aren’t very good. There are a few that are fabulous and I want to say that they are SO VERY FRIENDLY and kind here. I think maybe the fast turnover has lead to poor quality.

Very relaxing and clean. I went on a Saturday and it was really busy but I was placed in a chair with someone right away for a pedicure! When it was time for manicure there were no spots open but sitting at the bar area, I’m short and curvy so sitting in the chair was very uncomfortable so I ended up standing. I also had gel polish put on my nails and by Wednesday they were already chipping in the corners! It is a very nice place however picking the right time to go is key!Update:I gave this Spa a second chance because my first go wasn’t the greatest and well, bummed again! Arrived, told 20-30 mins leave my number they will call….waited in car, 35 mins later decided to just go back inside and saw that many names after mine had been marked off and I had not been called. They had me wash my hands and then I basically had to follow the guy around a few times because he kept saying come here but then that spot wasn’t ready etc. Finally in a pedi chair, no one checked water temp or water level, it just kept filling up! Finally someone turned it off and turned on jet which then caused the plastic cover to come off and float around in my water….thank goodness I didn’t touch that thing with my toe because the fan was exposed. I finally just held the floating piece down until someone paid attention that I was there which was more than 10 mins later, I only know that because the massage chair stopped and I had to turn in back on. The girl who took care of me was AMAZING…seriously! She asked if I wanted a drink, which I had been asked when I arrived however they never brought it. She asked one of the guys to grab me something but he never came back! I ended up at the bar seating again which is not comfortable and again the gel polish has begun to chip after only 5 days! Toes are great with regular polish but nails looking rough already and I’m not hard on my hands! I’m not sure if I’ll try again, it’s clean and nice inside however my last to experiences haven’t been relaxing for the most part!
