Had very bad exprerience with Chase Thornton, we agreed a TONU with him, after 30 minutes when driver left already, and had another load, he stated that shipper will load us, when we were already at the another pick up, and as per Chase Thornton, he told it`s our problem that we booked another load, i hope nobody will deal with a such an unprofessional broker as Chase Thornton, and if his management is reading this review. please leave Your phone number, i would really like to have a conversation regarding Chase Thornton!!! Booked a load last week, showed up to get an axle and to my surprise there was an extra pallet that went with it... no extra compensation. Today booked a load, never got a rate con and Andre would NOT answer my calls or messages to confirm the load was given to someone else... made me miss out on other loads and sit empty and waste my entire day... beware of this company

We are in 52 days and still not paid. Saying they will not cancel and reissue until 60 days in then we have to pay the $40 Cancel fee. I would like to know they issued in first place....for as loading, we was over loaded by 6,000lbs at first, made them take one stack off! Delivery spot was terrible to get into!! already was a cheaper load and Now 60 or more days to get paid! Ready to just say forget messing with them and turn it over🙄Ive tried talking to them but just short and wait!! 🥵😡Now we are 78 days into this! Have been spoken to like I’m in the wrong and still not paid. Was told on Monday that I would be paid and Thursday still nothing! I will be turning it over! I was told today that it wasn’t put in Monday and they are putting in today but I have to pay the whole 40 dollars stop payment fee so if I have to pay that why didn’t I get the choice to do that in May, I’ve waited because they told me I had to for them to pay or pay half. Not understanding why this has been so hard to get paid on but very unprofessional handled! So please contact me! And to the owner that commented below, sorry to tell you but I have been talking to your team and they say their doing something to get it paid but nothing and before they kept telling me to wait wait wait so I did and now nothing then I get hung up on after being talked to like I was a child and in the wrong. So to all that is looking for honest reviews!! Stay away from this company!

Pretty much very simple they’ll give you whatever you want and then they’ll shop around. I’ll try to be nice spoke with Chris and his boss Tyler they don’t care. Chris has told me no open words that’s exactly what they did.Response I have reached out to you twice on both of the guys and nobody cares so please don’t make it look good and review like you care.

Sorry I thought it was a compliant and paid company.It happens that I picked up a load from Houston to Ennis and at Enniss place they didnt receive it, I had to take it where I picked it up. the deal was for 1600 for the return and only 800 paid. POOR PAY.

Trident is ran by a complete amateur. I was booked on load by Chris at trident and their rate con sheet said delivery at 11am. When I arrived I was informed that they do not start taking trucks untill 4:30pm . So there goes my whole day. Wait there is more. Chris also did not inform us that there would be a lumper fee for the load and he did not have the means of sending a com check code for payment. So again Chris is clueless on what he is doing. I will never carry anything for trident transport again. They do not care about us private carriers nor do they respect our time. AMATEURS!!!

My experience with Trident has only been positive. In the midst of this crazy pandemic and how it has affected carriers, I have only noticed consistency of service from Trident. Jake Wilson has been a pleasure to work with and super responsive when we need help with anything. Greatly appreciate everything they have done to support us to be able to support our customers.

Broker lied about the load size. After rate con was signed, the load that was being loaded ended up being double the size. So the broker basically said oops I’ll send you a new rate con and would not budge to compensate for a load that ended up being double the size that we originally agreed upon.

IF I COULD LEAVE A NO STAR I WOULD, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WE BOOKED A LOAD FOR 50K LB AND ENDED UP BEING 67.6K LB, THE BROKER REIMBURESED FOR THE EXTRA 17K LB, BUT WHEN THE DRIVER ARRIVED AT THE RECEIVER, THEY WERE NOT PREPARED FOR MY DRIVER TO UNLOAD HIM, EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW HE WAS COMING. AFTER 5H HE WAS FINALLY UNLOADED. JIMMY, THE BROKER REFUSED TO PAY DETENTION DUE TO THE FACT THAT >, SO THE DRIVER HAD TO SUFFER THE LOSS OF HOURS AND GETING FINED FOR A MISSED APPOIMENT ON HIS NEXT LOAD, JUST BECAUSE THE BROKER DIDN`T CARE ENOUGH.

Although I have started using Trident just recently, it has been only positive. My representative, Mary, is a consummate professional who keeps me up to date if there are any changes on a delivery. She is definitely an asset that puts a great face on this company. My freight bills are consistently correct, but if there is an issue just call or email them. They are more than happy to discuss a resolution.

The trailer was overloaded. After lengthy negotiations, they agree to remove several pallets, but the detention is not paid! They pretend its our fault!Load # 0178695

I booked a load with them. They seemed professional. They sent me a rate confirmation. All signed. I thought it was odd that the pickup did not have a phone number, so I Googled them and called for confirmation of pick up. They never called me back. I guess I should have waited but I then booked other loads because I had a signed rate confirmation. Then the next day I get an email that I was no longer on the load it has been rescheduled. So I noticed the load is still posted in truckstop.com. I tried again calling the pickup location to see what had happened to the load and they kept giving me the runaround that they will call me back but they never do. Going by this and other reviews I hear what I think they do is keep the posting up until they find somebody cheaper and then screw you. Since this really screwed up my schedule and caused me expenses I asked about a TONU and they said they do not provide one. Stay away. I know I will. Good luck with that business model.

Very, very unprofessional!Yesterday Russel called me to offer a load from NC to OH. We went over all details and agreed on booking the load, he told me he will send rate confirmation shortly because it needs to be built up. After one hour I started calling the office # and kept being transferred over and over to other people who were telling me that Russel would be the only person who could help me out but he was not answering. After 40 mins of trying i finally got a hold of him and he told me that he was dealing with another issue and was very busy so he will get to the rate con in a few minutes. I asked him if it was for sure because the pick was supposed to be today at 8 am and if not i wanted to recover my truck but he assured me that we are good on it! Guess what....one hour later I started calling again and the same thing happened. Finally some person decided to help me out and check but told me that we are not assigned on any load whatsoever, he gave me Russels email since he was not answering his phone but I never heard back from him. He did not reply to my email nor he called back! This is not how you do business and unfortunately next time when you call me to offer a load I would not waste my time at all risking to end up in the same situation...

Booked a load with Hayes, did paperwork and was told Id be sent the rate con. After numerous unanswered calls and countless unanswered emails, 3 hours later I receive an email saying I am waiting on confirmation from my customer now. I tried calling again and emailing back, but yet again NO ANSWER! Never received a rate con or response back. Save yourself time and Avoid this company!

Example of unprofessional brokers. They will cancel load and refuse to pay TONU. Playing games with dispatchers,giving loads then cancelling to get best offer. This and companies that work like this are killing industry. Their loads are super cheap comparing to other loads on board and current matket. Thats why you can cover loads and canceling them too.

Absolutely one of the worst companies.Carriers: The load was booked with one of the account mangers named Tate Kelso, for a true team, broker assured on having the shipper wait for drivers, and hour and a half later said, shipper wont wait, so either cancel the load or pick it up next day in the morning. However later on, the manager, guy named Taylor, said he will do us a favor and pay $50 !! for a true team layover. They never paid a TONU either. These guys will lie to your face and play dirty.Shippers: Friendly warning, do not deal with these scammers, go for big companies, such as CH Robinson, TQL, J.B.Hunt, Schneider and others. You will be treated professionally and your shipment will be safe and on time.P.S. I wouldnt believe any of those good reviews either, obviously they are all fake.

I had couple loads with them,mostly bad experience. Will put them on my not anymore list.

We booked a load with the shipping facility working FCFS until 6pm. The driver arrived at 4:00pm and he was not loaded. They give the load to somebody else that could pick it up earlier. The rate confirmation notes there is no appt for pick up. They made the driver drive to the shippers location and waste his time. They were very disrespecful. Not be working with them ever again

Carriers - Trident can cancel a load on you and wont even pay you a TNU!!!Be aware.

Broker gave info to go to the pick up and cancelled the load when we were half way there because supposedly they found someone closer and then never paid us a TONU. Just wow!
