Had interior detailing done at the Charlottesville location before selling a car. Fair price, great work, good communication w/ staff. Sold car within hours after detailing and purchaser repeatedly commented on how nice it looked.

I have two long haired dogs and gave up having a car interior that indicated otherwise. The cars inside is black and the dogs are white and light brown.I had other companies in Massachusetts attempt to clean my Nissan Rogue, and my expectations have significantly lowered.However, Shawn at White Horse Auto did a fantastic job detailing my car. I am greatly impressed with his work. Also, he managed to finish the job in less time than estimated. He did not cut corners. I waited in the lobby and occasionally watched him. Shawn spent a substantial amount of time applying meticulous care.I am very satisfied with his work, and will return with my other car soon.My only issue with the experience was I ruined his work when I sat in the car and the pet hair from my clothes dispersed.Thank you dearly Shawn.

If you’ve never gotten your car detailed, this is your sign to go do it. White Horse was excellent. The appointment was easy to schedule online and the interior detail looks amazing. Shawn did fantastic job and takes pride (as he should) in making your car look good as new. And the appointment was exactly the time length they told me, which I really appreciated. Next time I’ll have to get the full detail done!

I had the service done and am a little disappointed. The channel and trunk lid areas were not done. I had that corrected before I left. There are a lot of areas around the edges of outside glass that are still dirty. They did a good job in getting a thorough cleaning started, but I still have plenty to finish to get it back to new. Seats, dash, interior is great, except there is goop in the door pockets from whatever they sprayed. There is still decal glue on the windshield AND they threw away my county sticker (that was in the console because it wouldnt stick on the window). Out of the $209 (plus tip) that I payed, I feel like I got about $150 worth. This would be a 3 if I were reviewing you.

Squeaky clean! My car looks nicer than the day I bought it. I paid for the interior detail & they threw in a quick exterior wash too. Sean was my detailer and he truly got every detail! Everyone was very nice & professional. I will be sure to come back!

I dropped my Camry off for a full interior/exterior detail with scratch removal (compounding). Sean and Isaias did a fantastic job! The interior was shampooed and made to look like a brand new car, the scratch removal worked great and they removed all of the mildew that accumulates on the exterior edges.

Got an ozone treatment and Isais hooked it up! These folks do you right and do a good job. I saw multiple others satisfied during my wait as well. Don’t waste your time elsewhere, go in and check them out!

I finally decided to get the membership and boy was I happy I did ‼️ I love coming here and not having to do the hard labor of cleaning my suv which 4 children ride in lol. They’re always nice and friendly. They’re also pretty fast with the cleaning, they use a ton of team work to get you in and out. Will be keeping my membership 🥳

Paid $35 for their Superfecta treatment. Wind shield looks like it was wiped with a snot rag, interior got minor attention, door jams were not cleaned. Absolutely not worth your time nor money. (Pics after their cleaning)

I have to really give a shout out to this place. Watching my car being done gave me that thought that I wish my doctor, my landlord, my landscapers etc worked this hard at what I pay them to do!The hustle put into there work and the quality of the attention to detail was inspiring made me wanna put my back into something, like jumping and helping with the line behind me. Fast, hard working employees that showed that they were actually into what they were doing, people don’t work that hard unless they are actually into there job and are invested in the outcome. My car looks and felt and smelled brand new!I have to give a major shout out to the manager Tamara Wright for a true experience I’ll never forget!I will always take my cars back to this place. I went in with a car that hadn’t been cleaned in some time when voicing concerns to a really nice gentleman named isais he a assured me that great job would be done and I watched him make sure of that and I was extremely happy to see the result. Posted: 8:20am on a Friday. I’ve always enjoyed coming to White Horse over the other car wash businesses around town but lately I’ve felt disappointed. Recently subscribed to the unlimited monthly and since then I’ve visited 3 times. 2 out of those 3 times I’ve been told they can only do exterior due to staff shortage. You’ve gotta sort that out ASAP. I’m feeling a bit robbed!!

For Christmas I asked for gift cards to get a full detail. This was my first time using this company. I was able to check-in quickly and they called when my car was ready for pick-up. They had a busy day, so my car wasn’t available at the previously stated time (they did call and let me know they were a running a little bit behind). When I went to pay, Isaiah gave me a discount for the “long wait” and a coupon for a car wash. My car looked so good my husband’s jaw dropped when he saw it (and I have 2 dogs and 2 kids less than 3).They were professional, showed excellent customer service and the results were better than expected. They definitely won me over and I will be a repeat customer.

I have been going to this location for 30 years- since it was a different owner. It has only gotten better. The monthly membership is an amazing value- all my cars are on the plan.The staff are friendly, helpful and determined to do a good job. There are many standouts, but I can say if there is an issue, Tamara is a manager that really makes certain I am pleased. But that beings said, everyone does and excellent job or they arent there long.Thank you Whitehorse for keeping my cars looking new.

I have been doing business with White Horse which was previously Express Car Wash. I truly enjoy coming here and really enjoy the customer service. Specifically I have to say that Tamara is the best. Any issues I have had she has immediately adressed them and remedied them. On several visits, I have witnessed her step in and help and pick up the slack. Specifically today I came in for a wash and saw her working on the track with a grinder. I said girl what are you doing shes said making sure everything is working correctly.. this is something that you dont see.. having been in management they is something that would have definitely went to maintenance. Tamara is a shining example of what a manager should be. You should be proud. I always thought she was the manager.. I told a worker that his manager was awesome, he said she was the assistant manager.. Imagine my surprise. With that being said should there be a opportunity for her too move up she should.. She has earned her stripes and respect. Keep doing good guys and Tamara rock on!!

So the young lady that is doing the payments on this day is amazing she’s been here forever it seems and loves her job and it shows in her customer service and her passion for the job. She is a supervisor and I’m sure she probably should be running this place by now as she is outstanding at what she does. I keep coming back for the value this car wash is but I also come back for the staff as they are amazing.

Came in for a WIN car wash this morning and was an enjoyable fast experience. Connor was very kind and made sure to get the back window clean since i live on a dirt road. I will try to use you all more frequently so it isnt such a mess

The super happy bald guy is the only person that consistently does a good job. He actually looks like he has a little pride in his job and is autonomous. If it weren’t for him, I probably would find somewhere else to get my car cleaned.Unfortunately most of the other workers don’t really have the energy, motivation, or attention to detail to be detailing cars. I would be surprised if some of the younger kids were getting paid above minimum wage. When they tell me they’re done and I walk out and immediately see they missed the tailgate or the rear windows were missed or the back seat didn’t get vacuumed, it just makes me pretty disappointed.

There are two workers there that I would like to mention. Their names are Isaias and Chris. Every time we go they are busting their tails getting it done!! They could be the only two people there and still have cars moving through quickly like a chick fil a drive thru but still looking amazing and professional! They are always so super friendly and caring. I have been to multiple car washes and they are both by far the best! If you need to wash your car, whether it’s inside or outside or both, I 10/10 recommend White Horse in Charlottesville!!! You guys are amazing!!!!

Slightly non intuitive if youre como for a cast wash the first time. Opted for a full clean pack (with tire shine), but there was visible debris after the wash: both on the tyres (rim) and boot.

They were not kidding when they told me to ask for isaias for the best service!! He is such a friendly and professional employee! A few nights ago I parked my vehicle under a magnolia tree and in the morning it was covered in bird litter. I took it to White Horse car wash where a nice young man named Connor cleaned it for me. I hadn’t washed my car in a year probably. Anyway, my neighbor stopped by this morning and commented on all the cars in front of our houses. She said whose is that? It was mine, lol! Connor did a great job - tires too! Thank you! Here is a picture taken two days later, still looks great.

I went there for an interior and exterior wash, and Isaia and Shawn did an excellent job on my vehicle. It looked and smelled like a new car!

They sent a free car wash offer, but when I went to use it at 4:50pm on a Thursday, they had a barrel blocking the entrance and a sign saying closed.Bad business to offer something and not deliver.

We love White Horse they have been so wonderful to us!!!! We have 20+/- vehicles on our plan and Tamara has been helping us manage it for years. She’s always so helpful and professional, one of the only reasons we keep coming in. We love her, our favorite elf.

Im pretty unimpressed, I still have bug guts on my windows, they missed a bunch of spots, my dash is still dusty, and they forgot to put my floor mats back in so I had to return and get it myself and they didnt dry them. They didnt answer the phone and I couldnt leave a message due to a full inbox when I called about my missing mats. I would not come back again, there are plenty of other places that do a better job.

I posted earlier about my displeasure with not being able to have my interior cleaned, they were doing exterior only. The next day I had a conversation with Isaias and Katie. They were both super apologetic and professional. I understand White Horse, like other businesses, are dealing best they can with a lack of staff. I am thankful the car wash did not close early and I appreciate all they do. You all really do the best you can! Thanks again, especially to Isaias and Katie, for taking time and having a meaningful conversation with me. One last thing...ban cell phones while on the clock :)

I’ve been a long time customer and subscriber but I’ve had it. I’ve skipped the detail line more than I’ve waited because it’s always so backed up. Today there were only two cars in front of me so I drove in…. An HOUR ago. That’s right… an HOUR ago. I am sitting here watching these two employees work as though they are trying to break the Guinness Record for the longest car wash ever. I’ve been patient since Covid has affected so many businesses but this is just poor management and training.

Today was my second time taking my car to this place the all driver side was never clean the amployes just playing around nothing serious I remember when this place was express carwash I work there for 6 years and this is nothing to comper but it is the same price I will never come back

Paid for the Secretariat package and the best I got was the exterior wash and wheel shine. Those were literally the only two things that appeared to have been done. My floors did not appear to have been touched with a vacuum. My windows had streak marks all over them. My cup holders also still had stains inside of them. The two employees that did the interior work seemed to have the most pathetic attitudes compared to everyone else. I will not be going here again. Wasted $24.00. Some of the pictures may be hard to see the stuff left over.

Not long after coming we met Tamara and were impressed with her work ethic (always busy doing something), personality (incredibly friendly—-always has a smile in her greeting and kind words to share), professionalism and pride in what she does and how she treats the customers. White Horse should feel honored to have an employee as dedicated to the business and its customers, looking to grow in her job position with White Horse, while working to better herself as she provides for her young daughter. This place has went completely down hill since Johnny was their. This lady With a red shirt Tamara is really rude, she creates a hostile environment for the staff just by the way she addresses the very people that shes in charge of supervising. Im sure that alone contribute to the lack of motivation that the staff whom detail the vehicles throughout the day. This place used to be the best in the business during the 1990s and earlier 2000s the quality is no longer there and its sad. Been a multi car plan customer for over 10 years as of this past year. This place needs a make over starting with the equipment in the wash bay or you will continue to lose business to other car washes, Tamara unprofessionalism brought about my review, Im extremely appreciative of the hard work the normal staff that wipes and clean the inside of my vehicles, but I will not continue using this business until it starts to address its issues where as the customers are pleased with the staff and their efforts

Every time I take my car herewith, which is rare and far in between, I’m extremely disappointed… Especially accounting for how much their services are. Seeing stains before even getting in the car…really easy wipe a way stains. I just took the towel and finished it off myself. Why do I keep forgetting how bad their service is??

Yesterday I was in the passenger seat of my mothers car when she stopped by to have her car washed. She lives down an old dirt road and her car was in desperate need of a bath. However if we could have backed out of line and left, we would have! A female worker was cussing and yelling at the register area. After doing some research we have discovered that workers in red shirts are supervisors or/and managers. What a disgraceful way to represent your business. This was our first and last visit.

As with most car wash outfits, who you get to finish your car is just as important as the equipment. I have been numerous times and the consistency just isnt there. I go with a mid-range wash for $25. The first part of the wash is automatic, using a multi stage chemical and mechanical modality. The undercarriage spray wash is weak at best, but the brushes are clean and maintained. This is important to prevent scratching your clear coat unnecessarily with trapped dirt. Prior to entering the automatic wash tunnel, an attendant will wash down your wheels with a low pressure water hose. After the automatic part you are directed towards a finishing bay where a team of attendants will perform the final steps of the wash. Vacuuming and cleaning is very well done however window cleaning is never performed correctly and always leaves streaks that you will have to remove or touch up at home. The tire dressing stage is a complete slop. The product is used is oil-based and slings everywhere, and it is applied with a brush so it streaks. It should be applied with an applicator for even coverage. While I Im okay with the occasional visit to White Horse, I just dont think the value is there for weekly or bi-weekly maintenance washes.

I made an appointment online for an interior detail for $99.00. When I arrived at the carwash I was told it would be $109.00 because the price quoted was a starting at price. I have a small car and I had removed everything as instructed. When I asked why the price was being raised I was told the 99.00 was for pristine interior. My interior wasnt pristine but wasnt a pig sty either. The trunk was not cleaned as stated on their website and the interior detailing was mediocre at best. They went ahead and did the interior for the $99.00 as agreed.

I am so disappointed! I got the best package available thinking they would do a good job ($10 off on Friday). They never even vacuumed the back of my jeep or under the front seats. I now have to find someone to do it again before holiday and pay again!!

First time I ever been here took the company car. They did a great job one spot on the left didnt get cleaned but its something that needs to be scrub. I did have to tell 4 people that I didnt know where I was going because I have never been there. They acted like I was dumb

Haunted tunnel was AWESOME!! My 4 year old and 6 year old were not only scared, but beyond entertained. The decorations and masks were awesome. So glad we were able to attend. Happy Halloween.

My daughter saw the ad for the Haunted Tunnel Car Wash and badgered me into taking her and her friend. I thought it would be rubbish, but thought the car could do with a wash, so what the hell. It was actually kinda fun and the back seat full of teens thought it was great - so all good. The staff seemed to enjoy hamming it up. I wholeheartedly recommend. Next time Ill buy the ticket online it is a bit cheaper.

For five years straight my car has enjoyed monthly unlimited perfection at White Horse Auto Wash. All those visits year after year have shown me that more than any other factor, Tamara is the glue and the grease that keeps White Horse number 1. I came earlier today and it was incredible and really fast. I was shocked at the quality of the work considering how many cars they wash. It was AMAZING! Tires, rims, floors, mats, cup holders, and doors all looked like they were brand new! Connor and Katy were great and I have them to thank for an astounding job.

I come here every so often and the service is always on point! Andrew and Katelyn were both very helpful and welcoming. Car looks great now thanks to the $60 wash package I got. It even came with the interior being shined up. Very pleased with our overall visit today and will definitely be coming back in the future!

I paid for the supertrifecta andwill never go back. My car was painted 6 weeks ago and now you can see small scratches on doors. Also when they wiped it dry they did not change the rag so you can clearly see wet rag wipings on the black car. Also they only tire shined the drivers side tires and not the passengers. I called and got no return calls. Dont waste your time. The interior was not done well. But I couldnt do anything about that because I was going to work.

It is said to say that the majority of ratings are accurate. I noticed immediately that the was completely missed or ignored areas. Carpets were left kinda dirty, the exterior isnt done well. Console isnt cleaned etc. Overall extremely poor job.

Excellent service for exterior and interior cleaning. I had water damage stains in my passenger side seat fabric for years... and they shampooed it out entirely in the span of 10 minutes. Very good price as well.

The first car I brought there is still clean but I think I will pay the unlimited price in order to really get my moneys worth.

Had to request wheel dressing after they finished my truck. Dressing was not put on properly the 1st time. Employee said he would take care of it when I asked it to be redone. He did an awesome job. Thanks guys

I get my car cleaned here frequently, and have a positive experience every time. Honestly some of the nicest guys who are always willing to help the customer. My car is always full of dog hair and they make an extra effort every time to get all the nooks and crannies. Best place in cville to get your car washed!

Horrible experience! Windows are dirtier now, than when I came in! Had to do them correctly at home. Floor mats werent cleaned & driver side floor not vacuumed. Plus only cleaned & shined 3 wheels. If I didnt have to wait 55mins & wasnt pressed for time, I wouldve had them redo entire vehicle!! Will never go back!!!

I have the unlimited exterior wash, which does a pretty good job. They come and hand dry it off pretty quickly. However, if you have the interior package or upgrade to the interior, your vehicle waits in line to get serviced (since most people get it vacuumed out). When they get to your car, the water has already dried leaving lots of spots everywhere, especially on a black car. If you get the interior package, maybe go through the wash again so that it gets dried properly.

I paid for the super Trifecta $36 car cleaning. When they finished I looked at the back end of my car and the top of the back of my car it was dirty. I asked the young man if he could clean it off he said no youd have to go back through the line and they would have to scrub on it due to parking under a tree. When I go home I do not park under a tree. So I took a little Windex and was able to clean the dirt out.
