Blown away by what my SUV looks like after Vinny detailed it this morning! This is 2013 model and it looks brand new. Super fair price with fantastic quality! Vinny was efficient and triple checked his work. Wouldnt hesitate to use again and will!

Detailed our newly purchased 2011 gold Toyota Sienna. Passenger side looked amazing, but driver’s side looked only partially done. Some superficial scratches remaining and polish not wiped off. Under door handles not buffed, and things missed that I specifically mentioned... around gas tank only partially cleaned, and sliding seat tracks inside still very dirty. Wonder if he ran out of time. He also took $200 instead of $180 from our babysitter because he “didn’t have any change”. He never contacted me to let me know. I will take the van elsewhere for a 2nd opinion and to finish the job. We have a baby in the hospital and are moving so I do not have time to chase down our money or haggle over workmanship. We will not use this company again. ***Update: 5/15/21 Received the $20 in change via Venmo***

Believe all the superlative reviews you see about the guys at Downtown Detail. They worked on our Nissan Rogue and Volkswagen Beetle and both cars look GREAT--better than they have in YEARS. Very thorough work, really nice guys, and efficient too. Dijuan was great to communicate with and ease of payment options was a big plus for me. I was blown away at the great job they did on my wifes car. Every inch was spotless.

Absolutely amazing. Mold was growing between my drivers door and seat and by the end of the clean it was completely gone. Not only that, but it looked like it did when we first bought it ten years ago. The steering wheel has never been this clean and the leather feels buttery. The carpets are also spotless now. Not only do I feel safe riding in the car again without the mold. but I also just cant believe the cost. I plan to recommend this guy to absolutely anyone and everyone who asks. I called and he was there the next day willing to work with me in the apartment complex parking lot. Would give more stars if possible.

Dijuan did an amazing job! We couldn’t be happier! He detailed our daughter’s car (21), which hadn’t been cleaned since she got it 3 1/2 years ago. It was such a disaster that we did not expect it to come out as well as it did. It looks like a brand new car! Dijuan is very communicative and accommodating. We live downtown and park in the Water Street garage. He brought everything he needed, including water and power. His prices are extremely reasonable. Because the car was in such bad shape, I insisted on paying more than his stated price. Well worth it! We will definitely have him come and detail our other cars soon! Highly recommend!

This guy is legit. My car was getting mold smell from leaving the sunroof open several times and the seats had staining. In less than an hour he and his partner cleaned the entire car. Above my expectations. They even removed a cookie stuck in between the driver seat and center console that two expensive full auto detailers in Charlottesville left behind. I struggle to keep my car clean with a toddler but Downtown Detail Mobile is the Tea.

Vinny was 10 minutes early, which I appreciated bc it suited my schedule even better than the agreed-on time. His work was thorough and much better than other places I have tried in town. He found my missing school ring!!! I will certainly be using his services again.

Vinny came to detail my car the next day I called despite it being the weekend. He brought his truck and was able to clean my car at my house. After two hours, he was able to clean, polish, and detail the inside of my car and made it look like brand new. He even got out small scratches with his work. Great job! We woke up to a truck door that had been left open and mold everywhere inside. Vinnie was able to come that same day, and the transformation was amazing. They did my SUV in for a full detail after it was in need of a deep cleaning. They buffed out all of the external damages, and gave the interior the most thorough cleaning Ive ever seen. They even cleaned out the lighter socket! They also applied a coating to the exterior that makes it look like new. I was extremely impressed and will definitely be going back again.

We had a bit of a misunderstanding yesterday, but when I emailed about it, they were quick to make it right and were able to come to my apartment the next day. My 12 year old car has never been cleaned (and to be honest Im not a very neat car-owner) and downtown detail was able to make my car look just about new! A+ customer service and A+ detailing. Where to start? Nice guy, cheap detailing. You will get what you pay for.To recap... I paid for the midgrade package which is supposed to get out scratches and I added a buffing of headlights.As I was reviewing the work I had to point out they missed an entire door jam. He had one of his men do it real quick. A few other stuff they spruced real quick before I left because I showed them it wasnt done. I saw areas where they didnt buff out all the last coating and thought I would just touch it up myself.I got to the auto parts store and looked at the car closer. They only buffed 1 headlight, didnt treat any of the vinyl, didnt even touch the scratches, barely wiped the dashboard, did a shoddy job vacuuming. The list goes on.He immediately had me bring the car back and fixed most of the stuff at my specific request. I had to bring it back though. And he didnt even fix the other big scratch (I caught one before leaving the first time he fixed at my specific request) that I specifically showed him.He said multiple times, If theres anything wrong bring it back and Ill fix it for free. At this point I can only ascertain that he knew he does shoddy work but leaves it up to the customer to decide if its worth their time to have it fixed.I spent an hour going over the car when I got home getting the wax buffed and touching up.....everything. I had to go over outside areas still covered in dirt along the windows that were brown with dirt.I had decided to go for the little guy who works out of a van and give him some business because of the good reviews. Now I think I know why he still operates out of a van. Im sorry Vinnie, but I wont be coming back and Im completely disappointed in the work. Youre nice to chat with but I came to you to get my car detailed.

A puppy got sick in my car, and Vinny did a great job cleaning it. My car looked and smelled beautiful when he was done. It was also very convenient because I dropped the car off in the morning and he gave me a ride to work. He had it back to my work and looking beautiful before lunch.

I live in Harrisonburg VA and all the detail shops down here have horrible reviews, so I looked and saw the reviews for Downtown Detail and thought I would take an hour drive to ensure I get good quality. Vinnie did a fabulous job in a very reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price. You can even talk to him while he does his work if you choose, and I found that he is a great guy with an amazing work ethic and cares very much about the quality of which he does. You will not be disappointed!

My son had the flu and did a job in the backseat (less said about this the better). Vinny and his crew were able to see me on super short notice (on a Sunday afternoon no less)! It took an hour and a half, and the car was better than new! The crew even got the stuff out of the speakers, which was some feat!

Absolutely amazing! Took my truck to the dealership because my tint on the windows were messed up, took it to several tint specialist and they said they couldnt do anything with it. I was extremely frustrated and thought I might have to buy new windows. Finally took it to Vinny and he had it looking showroom clean in a matter of 10 minutes. All I can say is WOW! I am a dog trainer and my car has dogs in and out of it multiple times a week. During the last 5 years, Ive had dogs, poop, pee, and vomit in my car --- not to mention ALL the hair, kibble, dog treats and trash that has accumulated in my car. Oh and the bale of straw that exploded all over my car 2 years ago and I was stilling finding piece of (up until today). Sure, I had cleaned my car, but I never had it cleaned like this. I wasnt sure what to expect or what Vinny would be able to do with my hot mess of a car, but it was nothing short of a miracle. The interior of my car is the CLEANEST Ive seen it since I bought the car in 2011!! Yea, Im not kidding. He shampooed all the carpets and seats and it smells soooo fresh. He cleaned the interior of a very dirt minivan that logged a lot of miles with a couple of small kids and a dog.The owner came to our site. He needed an electrical outlet. He assessed the situation, gave us an estimate, and worked for about two hours. The vehicle looked and smelled much better and was well worth the $65 he charged me.

They did great work on my Mercedes! They kindly walked me through every step they took when asked and they were fun to talk to while I was there waiting. The swirls that were there from a bad buff job disappeared after their work and they personally saw to it that I was satisfied after I finished, allowing me to inspect the entire car. I purchased a used Chevrolet Trailblazer from an individual who likely had not cleaned the vehicle for many years. The carpet, seats and headliner were all in extreme need of attention as well as the outside paint. The interior was revived and everything was now a few shades lighter, plus the black exterior paint was a much darker and deeper black with many of the small scratches removed. I had arranged transportation to be picked up after dropping off the vehicle and also to return to pick up my vehicle after the work was done. Unfortunately neither panned out, however luckily my work was not far away and was taken to and picked up from the my office. This was very helpful and the detailing of my old vehicle turned out better than I thought possible. Great job, recommend this service ............... nice work and nice people!

Vinny did a great job detailing my SUV. I was able to get an appointment for the next day at 8:30 am. The car looked better than new.When picking up my car, he brought to my attention a scratch in the gearshift that he apologized for. He was trying to tell me he didnt know what happened when I stopped him to let him know it was already there. His willingness to own up to a mistake was refreshing as you dont see that often.

Vinny was awesome! I recently moved to the Charlottesville area so I was going by the reviews about this company. The ratings and reviews are right. I rarely review anything but this guy did such a great job. Ive had my car detailed in TX and NoVA and this is by far the best job and the best deal. I have an Alaskan Malamute mix and typically Ive been charged over $100 to do a full detail because of the dog hair. The interior of my car was covered in dog hair and he managed to get everything out! E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! Not only that, he charged me under the normal price. If you have any apprehension about this place dont worry. Trust me. Youll thank me later.
