Great place to work! Ive been here for 3 years and I dont plan to leave. Charter has a great facility that caters to all people. The managers are always looking for new ways to make you feel comfortable about coming to work. As far as benefits go they are unmatchable. Just as my dentist, doctor, orthodontist, and eye doc. Lets just say they love to see me coming! If you ever get the opportunity to work for charter TAKE IT. You wont be disappointed. Especially if you get to work in the data center.
Spectrum will pull you in with a start deal ($45/month) but after 1 year they will consistently raise your rates and try to force you to bundle other services. I highly recommend looking for an alternative.
Far too many outages for the price they ask people to pay. On top of that, they dont prorate or credit your bill for the time services were down. Sales associate I spoke to when I was cancelling services was overly pushy and dumped on the competing service provider I switched to with information that wasnt even true. If youre going to push to keep me as a valued customer, at least have your facts right. Those that gave TWC 5 stars I would guess are people working for the organization trying to bolster the companys image. 5 stars they are not...
Worst service EVER! Never have I dealt with such ridiculousness! Havent even had the service installed for a full 5 days before we cancelled. Tech was terrible, did not install the wireless properly, never registered our box, been hung up on, put on hold for 20 minutes (where they set the phone down when you ask for a manager and dont put you on hold). I mean I could go on and on..NOW theyhave a money back guarantee and they want me to wait 2-3 weeks to get a prepaid gift card in the mail...this company is absolutely ridiculous. We went to ATT and they are 50 dollars cheaper and they are quick and super customer forward. Best decision weve made was the switch!
I called Customer Service and they told me that if I paid xxx dollars my service would be back on. I paid xxx and the Associate told me that my service was on. ( I was not at home) when I got home my service was not on.I called Customer Service again.They told me they lied to me? My service would be xXxX dollars? To be turned On? This is wrong! I contacted the CEO who had some one call me...Then later that dayAnother person called me and said they were WRONG? So my service is still off and they took my money?About 14 years ago I worked for Time Warner... I feel off my truck in a rain storm my health went into a tail spin.I have not been able to work the rest of my life..Time Warner hired a Insurance Company Unum.. there job was to stop my disability which they did.MY LIFE Is ruined.
Worst customer service. Have been told repeatedly, someone would call us. Told maintenance would be out, to fix our problems. 4 days without cable and the only time we talk to them is when we call. Lied to over and over. Tired of the apologies when we call, all we want is what we pay for.

I wish this company go out of business. Every since they took over time warner it has been hell. I pay almost 300 a month. Then they where to install new service at my residence but sent them to the wrong address and when I tried to get it resolved, I got the run around, no one return my calls not even the supervisors, and nor did any appointments get set to have a new tech come to my home and I mean no help. I most definitely will be looking for a new provider. Horrible service all the way around.
Took the day off for a 10 am appointment. Going in 7 pm and tech just now showing up...
I only had internet service from TWC/Spectrum during the six years I lived in Charlotte. Went without service for at least a couple of weeks each year through various outages. Once spoke with a very helpful customer service person who noted that there wasnt an outage identified, but that 9 other houses in the neighborhood were also showing that their internet was down. Instead of the company recognizing the outage, we had to wait a day and a half for someone to come out, see that there were 4 other Spectrum vehicles visible from our driveway, and then cancel the service and change it to an outage which took another day or so to fix. Final straw came when I cancelled service over the phone (moved out of town) and was told I just needed to drop off the equipment at one of the locations. Stopped in and was told there would be an hour wait just to leave their modem/router with them. Called to have a shipping box sent, and was told they dont provide shipping boxes for just a modem but that I would be charged if I didnt return it. Worst company to deal with. Happy to be done with them.
Terrible company to buy internet from. I had the service for 1 month because I had spent a total of 4 hours on the phone trying to reconnect the router to their servers so I could get internet again. Basically, the internet would work for an hour or two then Id have to call and wait on hold for 15 minutes. Paying $110/month for the bundle was a poor value.After I cancelled, I was shocked to find that nobody came to pick up the equipment. I received a bill in the mail for $200 for the equipment, like I want it. At that point, I called again, waited on hold for another 15-30 minutes getting shuffled around their phone system and was eventually told that I had to mail the equipment in or deliver it to a Spectrum location.I got to the Spectrum location to find out that it was similar to a DMV. There was one person working at the front desk and 15 people waiting in line. I took number and waited for 30 minutes with my wife. I had fun talking with the kids sitting next to me, but the experience that Spectrum put me through was not worth it.In Korea, the same service costs about $35/month and you actually get unlimited high speed internet. Not recommended getting service.Check out Windstream or DishTV. Youll get a better deal and better service. They still have their bait and switch tactics but they are the lesser of two evils.

Garbage service. Changed the cable box twice and still chanels freeze up. Dvr just completely stopped working. When you go to watch a show the screen just goes black. And during the prime time hours the cablessings would just cut off and the box would reboot. That takes 30 mins. I wish I could give negative stars. Dont waste your time and money.
Did you notice the 5star reviews most have no comment. Maybe one word or like the water in the pond is clear. Others look like employees for twc or spectrum. Read the ones that people put thought into. Good and bad, That will give you the real pulse. I read companies have thier employees give themself 5stars to off set all the negate the bad reviews, China actually has division of people that do nothing but write enough reviews to raise your star ratings, $10000 per star. They are trained to put at least 6 sentences in per review. Lol hey then it look more credible than a no comment 5stars
The worst service ever! I have ordered 300mb/s internet service, company of course is charging me for months for it but my internet speed is 30mb/s. They have sent technician to my place, he changed everything including cable from outside in, 2 different modems, but did not fix the problem. He decided to escalate my case to a different department. I have never got any calls to fix my problem, and decided not to pay them for service I do not receive. Well, at very ease they just disconnected my service with out any warning. When I called, they said F.U. I wonder when someone will com up with the idea of negative stars or something like that. 1 star is way too much!
Had to switch, the service is atrocious!! 100mbs of shared bandwidth on their network = 10mbps of constant speeds. Constant DVR recording issues and their security system sucks!! So happy to of changed service providers! I will never go back to TWC or Spectrum!!! RIP OFF!!!!
I wish I could give a zero for rating. Horrible customer service. Supervisors dont know what they are about. They dont care what happens to the customers. I have been a customer for 3 days and so much disappointments already. I dont even have internet service up till this point and have called in a thousand times already. Huge mistake
If there were any way to give negative stars I would most certainly do that. In all of my life I have never experienced worse customer service from any business at any time. I have spent the better part of five months trying to resolve multiple issues ranging from billing, internet, and tv reception issues culminating in spending the last two months trying to resolve a damage claim. I feel so deeply sorry for the personnel that are forced to answer the customer concerns. They have all been so professional, supportive, and truly try to help as best they can. However, those that could actually help resolve a customers issue hide like 15th century Europeans from the plague. I have had multiple, recurring issues with every aspect of service received from Time Warner, now Spectrum, for months all to no avail and no solution. I could not make my displeasure, shared here, more profound if I were willing to emmoluate myself in protest on the steps of their corporate headquarters. My personal belief is that one should pay twice as much for half the offerings from Time Warner. My personal experience is that they are completely incapable of fulfilling promised service and while the folks answering the phones are quite nice and professional they lack the power to actually fix any problem of any major concern. My personal feelings are that any attempt at customer service has more smoke and mirrors than a Law Vegas magician. I could not recommend Time Warner Cable to anyone even if I were willing to perfectly accept wishing that individual a bad genital infection. My personal feelings are that a severe case of of east Asian genital parasites is better to endure than a moment of trying to resolve any issue you may have with Time Warner. My personal advice for anyone reading this is to get your cable and internet services from anyone other than Time Warner. While I have no way of proving this from my personal interactions, it is certainly the perception I have, is that the issues I have had are systemic and part of trained corporate culture. Shame on you Time Warner ... Shame on you ... I say SHAME ON YOU! Shame, shame, shame.........
I have been trying to correct a billing error with TWC since 7/13/16. Our internet went out on 7/6/16. It took 5 phone calls and 13 days to get TWC to agree to send a technician. The first one they sent came to check the TV problem. Wrong problem. He worked for several hours & then decided he was not trained in that area so he called a 2nd technician who came over. They both worked until 5:00 that evening. (from 10:30 a.m.). Second said he found the problem but did not have the tool to fix it. A third tech was summoned. He arrived at 8:00 p.m. He was trained & had the tools. He fixed multiple problems starting with their box which was not working, to incorrect connections from our original TWC installation. He left at 9:30 p.m.Then TWC charged us for the tech visit, although it was their equipment that we rent from them that was faulty. I had to then call TWC to get that taken off our bill. That they did, however, they failed to remove the associated fees and taxes that went with that charge. It is now Oct. 17, 2016 and I am still fighting with them over that $9.32 charge. They keep assuring me that they have it fixed this time. But since I have to deal with a third world country on top of all else, it remains uncorrected.The battle continues!
My service was changed so that I cant get all the free movies on demand I was getting them until about a week ago I was told today that the only way to get demand movies is to pay more money $40.00 more a mo..they are saying I never had it that is a lie Iv been watching movies....Im ready to go to satellite dish .. been with TW for more than 45yrs.. its down the sewer now
My wifi & phone has been going in & out since march 13th 2016, had over 7 techs cm out, no one drilled a hole threw my house to add a cable cord to a new outlet that is still not working. All summer no wifi or hm phone . I hve went over my data in my cell phone because of this ! Because I wrk from hm! This is not the end of this !!!
Worst internet service providers ever. Harass you with sales calls no matter how much you tell them no. Then when you have a problem it takes multiple calls because of long hold times and they will literally just hang up on you. Completely out sourced. Worst customer service of my life.
Horrible service!!!!! Have only had them for roughly 3 months and they have already been out to my house at least 20 times!!!! Problem never gets resolved!!!!! And when you call back, they want to always set you up for another visit!!!!! Not allowing them out anymore!!!! They are here more then I am!!!!!
TWC is trash and it’s completely ridiculous that they expect you to pay extra for channels that are standard on any other basic cable package. ✌🏾

Instead of fixing their screw up Melvin told me to just cancel my services with them. Then gave me my PIN number to do so. Tranferred me and had me on hold for 20 mins. WORST COMPANY EVER

Im a new customer as of August 1 2016 had problems with service had 5 techs come out and I have call most every day this month for help and the problem is still not fix, they gave me a little credit but I still have to pay over a hundred dollars this month not counting the 130.00 I paid on the first day of service.

I have the service with this TWC, but it turned out to be a fraud, I started with the internet service, supposed promotion, the package is $ 79.90 I think before taxes but that value contains cable for TV, Computer and home phone, since I just wanted the internet they charge me almost $ 60.00 including taxes per month, I would have to pay less, I was located at 28217 and for changing my location and going to 28262 they changed my office, they cut my service and they cut me off Been lying for a month, they dont want to install the service.
