RingCentral is disorganized, cumbersome, and has terrible customer service. It has taken me hours to try to simply add another line to my companys existing plan, and they have still not succeeded. Their staff does not respond to emails. You have to wait a long time to reach customer service, and once you do, pull up a chair, its going to be awhile. My coworkers say the service itself works well once you have it set up, but who has this kind of time?

Our Optometry Office started with Ring Central because their google rating was high but that was a mistake. Customer Service was horrible from beginning to end. Service was ok once we finally got set up. However, any issues we had with them were difficult to resolve. Even leaving the company & moving to a different phone & fax service provider was difficult. The new provider of services set up was so quick & easy. It is 2 months since we changed companies & Ring Central is still charging us monthly. I would NEVER Recommend Ring Central. If there was a negative star rating for this company I would choose it. 1 star was the lowest rating I could give.

Terrible app. Never works. Always disconnects during calls. Takes the call log a while to updated. If you dont have wifi get ready for your data to be burnt up.

Terrible service for trying to cancel. Be warned as others have stated they will auto renew even when you have told them not too. They will not let you out of contract unless you pay remainder of amount. The so called discount is nothing compared to what you will have to pay out. I have never seen such a scam as this.

Do not agree to a contract that is automatically renewed. There is no way to get ahold of anyone to cancel your subscription and they will increase the fees and automatically charge your credit card. This company has terrible customer service.

I strongly recommend searching for a different solution other than Ring Central for your business needs. This is a company that will farm out your phone numbers to 3rd party vendors and when you need assistance they pass you off to the 3rd party. When I spoke with the 3rd party Level3 Communications they had no idea who Ring Central even was. So, here I am paying Ring Central for multiple years for their service and the 3rd party company Level3 had no idea they were even affiliated with Ring Central. I have spent more than 10 hours this week for a simple switch of the numbers we own as a company to our new provider and still no closer to getting this issue resolved.

Please for the life of me please do not sign a contract with RingCentral. Their services are terrible, calls drop all the time. I have lost business, time and now I have hired an attorney for the loss RingCentral has caused me. Yet they are continuously trying to bill me for something I did not sign up for. So now they are sending my account to their collection team in Charlotte North Carolina and I am getting continuous calls about payment. I refuse to pay due to the fact that my company lost a lot of money from their phone lines being down, overcharging me state and local tax and their sales team that falsified agreements that were made. Danita Oliver is a collection manager and she is very very rude and rarely in the office to conduct any business. I did not feel comfortable speaking to a collection manager that was working from home and not in the office where I felt that my account should be more professionally discussed. She speaks as if she is the owner of the company and has no filter in what she says to a customer. Im not sure if she feels like she is untouchable but Ive dealt with CEOs that lost their job due to lack of customer skills. RingCentral please do not contact me after this review is posted my attorney will contact you thank you

Can I give less than one star? I am so disappointed with this company and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink it now. I agreed to one year contract and it sounded great. Somehow it became a 2 year contract and it NEVER met my needs. I spent a lot of time trying to get the service to work right and eventually had to contract with another phone provider because I had a business to run and needed a reliable phone number for marketing and customer calls. Ring Central breached contract in my opinion when they were never able to get it right. Now... one year into this, they say they have no record of the repeated calls to their support line??? And somehow they say I agreed to a two year contract??? No dear... I did not. I paid for almost a year of a service that never lived up to what it needed to be and that was crazy but I assure you that now I will involve an attorney if you can not stop billing me.To anyone seeking phone service... be very weary of a business that does not understand that one dissatisfied customer paying you monthly is too many. If you can not meet the needs of the customer, stop billing them and you can save some dignity. As it is, you want to bill me for two years for a service that has never been able to work properly and that is infested with solicitation calls... No Way!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST.... I have been trying to cancel this contract which was supposed to be one year contract for 10mos. Today they told me it was a two year contract I signed but they can not produce proof.This service was never able to meet my companies needs. I spent a lot of time trying to work with them but had to ultimately find another service as I have a business to run. All I ever get on this line is the infestation of spam calls and telemarketers. Their system has not ever worked right.You would think they would agree to stop billing me but despite my calls and how upset I have been, they seem to have added another year to the plan. Well, I will add an attorney to the mix now.This problem could be solved easily. They could stop billing me now. I dont use their number and dont want anything from them other than that they stop billing me. I have not used their service because it never met my needs and their customer service has been terrible. I spend long periods of time on the phone with people that ultimately have to transfer me to another person and then another. I dont have time for this. I needed a service that worked and you did not provide that. Simple... contract over.DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY.

What a disaster! we invested time and money into this. We have several executive level employees who tried everything to make this work. I cannot even describe how many missed calls we have (157 in the past 2 weeks to be exact), or how many missed sales and opportunities Ring Central has caused us. Ring Central, if you cant do what you say, then find another business. You caused a ton of harm to our company and you failed to help us.

We set up an account with RingCentral for our business. We switched from verizon, but immediately after switching had major problems with call quality and dropped calls to our business. Therefore we tried to switch the number back to Verizon and it has become a nightmare. RingCentral will not release the number! I have called more than 20 times to attempt to resolve this. This is negatively affecting our business as our incoming calls are not being received. I have spoken with numerous employees who tell me the port team will help, but then they deny verizons request for the transfer. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone and 6 days and still cannot get Ringcentral to release the line. They refuse, and then when I call them they say to resubmit the request. Unbelievable.

Was very excited to trial Ring Central for my business. Bought phones and tested the software which worked well. Unfortunately RingCentral attempts to intentionally deceive their prospects with pricing. The per user cost for essentials is NOT $19.95 per user, per month. The actual cost is $25 per user, per month PLUS mandated taxes and fees. RingCentral sneakily attempts to add a Cost Recovery Fee and E911 Fee to the contract without making you aware. Per RingCentrals website these charges are not mandated by any government agency. Its simply an additional fee RingCentral hopes you dont notice until after youve signed. Why is RingCentral not honest about its pricing?Additionally your sales agent attempted to change the contract terms to 24 months instead of 12 as we discussed. If I would not have been thorough I would have signed a document binding us for twice the term at 1.5 the original cost. Shame on you, RingCentral. For a company that is supposedly customer centered you have an odd way of showing it.So what happened when I called your sales agent on it? He offered to give me one month free. He said this would offset 6 months of the undisclosed additional cost. Heres a better idea: Why dont you be upfront and truthful about your pricing? Its unfortunate that you have such a good product but are so untruthful during your sales process. Hopefully this message reaches your future prospects so they know the true cost of RingCentral. Hopefully is saves them from wasting two weeks hooking up phones and learning your software only to have you pull the bait and switch on them.

Terrible, Terrible service - Phone & Customer Service - Stay away and go with Grasshopper, Vonage or Google Voice. Phone was down for 3 days for no reason when I was with RingCentral - who knows how much business I lost because of this. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT get RingCentral :)

Absolutely the worst customer care in the history of tech companies. I had multiple lines, then cancelled one of the lines via telephone with customer care. They continued to charge for the line for 7 months, then I emailed the account manager - including a BOLDED sentence indicating CANCEL ***-***-**** Immediately. Of course that didnt happen for 3 more months. Finally, (fed-up) I sold my firm and as such only kept one line with RingCentral b/c I wanted to keep the number for future endeavors. I was told, unequivocally, that the cost would be around $60.00 per month - only to be billed $122. When I called they gave me some previously undisclosed costs and fees. Ultimately, I decided to add a new line to my ATT cell plan (with a new iPhone) and the cost was about $23 LESS THAN RINGCENTRAL. Of course - RingCentral has been dragging their feet for 4 days to release the number to port over (Verizon took 5mins). I called to contact the porting dept to no avail. I had ATT porting call them with me on the line and got nothing done. Refuse to connect me to the port department etc etc.... To be fair, the product works, and works pretty well. The company however spends all their resources on sales and expansion not retention. Calling for sales - connect immediately to a live person in the US. Call for service - get the runaround and lies from some callcenter in India - Wildly unprofessional. NEVER AGAIN.

Ive been a loyal customer of many years with ring central, now when my business Isnt using the line anymore because we have reduced operations and closed that part of the business, ringcentral claims I have an auto renewing contract and is trying to force me to pay the rest of the year. I never got any email telling me my account was renewing automatically nor did I sign up for this. I have multiple account with ring central and im being treated like garbage. Very unhappy.

Service is ok but passwords and pin numbers are out of control with the requirements. 14 letters with numbers, upper case, a symbol and a partridge in a pear tree. when you are calling to order the wait time is 10 seconds. Good luck talking to someone if you have a problem. That is like being jobless and trying to get a loan.

We are new Ring Central users. It has been an extremely frustrating process. Not happy with it at all so far. We have spent hours and hours trying to get the system to function like we want it to. Not pleased at all.
