Two ladies came and did a deep clean of my home. They did a wonderful job and were very thorough. My appliances look brand new!

Their poor service and incompetence will always be your fault, not theirs! We learned the hard way. This is the perfect cleaning service for anyone who has been looking to crack open that piggy bank and break into the savings because of Molly Maids mistakes! Not only did we receive poor service on a number of occasions (left without wiping any counters, left without mopping the floor, you know, the basics of cleaning) but then we received a call telling us that somebody else had been getting charged for our cleanings the last 6 months. After every cleaning we were receiving an emailed receipt confirming our payment containing all of our information saying the payment was from us, then 6 months later we were told there was a glitch in their system and we owed $850! When I called to ask about the glitch in the system, I was told that we were the only customers that had this issue (convenient glitch) and would need to pay. When I questioned that validity of these practices and didnt pay immediately, we were told we had 3 days before going to collections. They sent me an invoice that showed we had zero balance as of 8/12/21 but $850 balance as of 8/15/21 I called and shared my concerns and filed a formal complaint, Molly Maid said they were sorry for the inconvenience but I could either pay or they would take me to small claims court. At this point I had grown tired of being threatened by a cleaning company and took the money out of savings to pay them, I stated I was still unhappy with the way the whole situation was handled and they responded and told me (direct quote) in my opinion, this is clearly an attempt not to pay for the services provided. How about that?! Imagine telling a customer who you were sending receipts to after every cleaning that they are clearly attempting to not pay you! The mental gymnastics are unbelievable. Ive asked multiple times if this was a system glitch where payment information was ending up in the wrong accounts why would they have not made their customers aware of that, but have yet to receive an answer. I look forward to being blamed for that as well!

The team showed up and did a thorough and efficient job in cleaning after some home remodeling. A venetian blind had a slat broken and they replaced it within 24 hours. Very impressed that they apologized and made it right. I would recommend them.

The ladies that come are amazing, super nice, quick and professional. The process of setting up a cleaning was very fast and easy. Araceli and Yeimi (T-9) were absolutely amazing!! They were on time, professional, and did quality work. They came in and got straight into cleaning. They moved at a good speed, but did not skip a place at all. My husband was working in one room and they were flexible and communicated well to make sure the room was clean and his work was not interrupted. They were dressed in uniform and looked very neat and professional. I was impressed with the line pattern they left on our steps, which showed they care about presentation in addition to do a quality clean. I mean they did everything; my microwave, my blinds, my ceiling fans, window sills, countertops, made my daughter’s half made bed into a very nice and neat make up, and so much more. I was also pleased with the receptionists I spoke with and worked with to get an estimate and plan the date to come. The total cost came to just what they estimated. And it was all well worth the price. I will be looking to have them come periodically. I will specifically request (T-9) Araceli and Yeimi! Thank you!

Both management and the cleaning crew are very pleasant to work with. I was paying for a monthly cleaning and always came home to a spotless nicely scented home. The few times I was home when the cleaning ladies came they were friendly to my dog and called her by name. The whole process is very easy to get started. I also like being able to contact management via text message. Their quote was better than the others I received from competing businesses. Highly recommended!

Bought a home recently, wanted to have the house deep clean before moving in. The two cleaners did a fantastic job on cleaning my townhouse. Would recommend them to anyone.

The initial cleaning was done very poorly with many things missed, when they came back out things were still missed. There was a billing overcharge, Call though I spoke to the person who came back out and they admitted they did miss a few spots, I was supposed to receive a credit but did not.

Just got finish with my standard home cleaning through Molly Maid and the members who came did a good job. Now lets get to why its only a 2 star review and the first and last time I use Molly Maid.1. The cleaners were suppose to arrive between 11-12 and got here around 12:40. Not a huge deal but something I wanted to note. When arriving they stayed in the car about 10 mins then slowly started gather the cleaning materials. This seems to be a common thing when reading other less than stellar reviews listed. This time seemed to count towards hours billed since the receipt had the time they pulled up and not the time cleaning began.2. I stayed while the 2 member team cleaned my 1,600 sq ft. townhome but left shortly after arriving to grab food. Was away for roughly 45 mins. When I came back there was another molly maid associate who seemed to be just hanging around chatting with the other members scheduled to clean my home. She quickly left once I arrived and claimed that she was the supervisor overseeing the other members, making sure the process was running smoothly. Thought that was odd since I never experience that with previous cleaning services where supervisors come unannounced to a scheduled home cleaning. With this being a pay per hours worked service, Id rather not have anyone come to chat since well, time is money. Odd situation that I wanted to address.3. Lastly, and the main thing that bothered me the most was when scheduling the cleaning, and there were mishaps throughout the scheduling process, I was told that I would be billed by the time it took to completely clean the home. From start to finish. So $ hourly rate x hours worked. Makes sense and I agree with that. I got an email that mentioned the pay range for the service based on the sq footage and other information provided. When I came down stairs to grab some water, the invoice was on the island countertop with 2h 45m already slated as the time it would take to clean the home. The women were still in the process of cleaning. Those hours coincidentally added up to basically the max range for the cleaning service based on the email provide when scheduling. I typically work upstairs but came down to see how things would be cleaned knowing the hours have already been set for the cleaning. I asked one of the members cleaning my home, how much longer she thought it would be till they were finished with the rest of the downstairs. Instead of looking around to see whats left to be cleaned, she pulled out her phone to calculate the amount of time left in order to hit that 2h and 45m. The two women cleaned my microwave, fridge doors and cabinets at-least three times basically to fill the time slated to complete this session. Again, I have used cleaning services in the past and it has NEVER taken roughly 3 hours to clean my home and thats with 1 person cleaning. Interesting to me how a company that has 2 cleaners to do a job takes a longer time to clean than other services that only provide a single member to do the job. I think the cleaners need to do a better job about being efficient. No reason for both members to be cleaning around a single bathroom. Completely counterproductive.Again I do want to mention that the women who cleaned did a good job but not 1.5 to 2x better based on price paid vs other services.Im a fair guy and usually give people benefit of the doubt but this just rubbed me the wrong way. I will not be using this service again moving forward.

I closed on my home on 9/14 and wanted to have it cleaned before moving in, I hired  Molly Maids for what they called a move in cleaning for, which was described to me by the gentleman I spoke with that would be a more detailed cleaning to include; dust baseboards, clean windows, mop, clean all bathrooms and kitchen, all appliances, clean inside all cabinets and drawers. I only needed the first level of the home done for now and was quoted  2-3 hrs and 15 minutes for 1600 sq ft. This was my first and absolute time hiring a cleaning service, and my absolute last time hiring Molly Maids! I dont have the time or patience to type out all that went wrong that day so Ill give you as brief a synopsis of my experience as possible. There were two cleaners and they arrived at 11:45 am and started at 12:00, unlike what they said was their start time. I had a family member at the house painting my dining room, who observed what time the cleaners arrived and started. I arrived at the house to meet the cleaners, and walked through the house with one of the young ladies who seemed nice at the time. We discussed what needed to be done, she agreed and stated that the house didnt look like it needed much and shouldnt take more than 3 hours 15 minutes or maybe even less. I left  for work and later that day received a call that they would need an additional 1/2 hour to complete the job. I spoke with the same guy I scheduled with and the explanation I was given was They had a hard time getting through the dust due to construction. First off there was not and had not been any construction in that home and the dust level was average for a home that had been vacant for over 30 days. After our conversation he stated that I would not be charged and they would stay the 30 mins needed.  At that point I decided to go to the house to do a walk through of what had been done in 3 hours. When I checked the first bathroom I noticed the floor didnt look as if it had been swept before being mopped, and there was a black ring around the bolts at the base of the toilet. In the second bathroom I lifted the toilet seat and it was dirty. At this point I was truly annoyed. I went to the kitchen and one of the cleaners asked me to sign off on her paperwork as well as payment, because she had another job to get to. I refused to pay until I completed my walk through. The kitchen drawers were not  thoroughly wiped out, I even found a dead bug in one of the drawers they claimed to have been cleaned. Some of the refrigerator drawers still had remnants of crumbs or food, the freezer didnt appear to have been cleaned either, and they never touched the sunroom which I had specifically asked to be swept and mopped. I also observed that they used the same cleaning rags on multiple services! At this point I was angry and contacted Maria, although she made excuses for the poor job her staff had done, but did have two of them stay behind to complete and redo what was not done or poorly done.  What really ticked me off was that the ladies who stayed behind had the audacity to have an attitude about having to redo the poor job they had done from the start, and thought by speaking in Spanish I wouldnt know their disrespectful comments because Im African American woman and didnt speak Spanish. Well my daughter and her father in law are Hispanic and relayed to me everything that was said, and luckily for their sake it was after I left because my daughter knew how upset I was and offered to stay behind to babysit them to make sure things were done right. I was so ticked off by the fact that I was expected to pay for a job that obviously this company and its workers felt I didnt deserve the same quality service as some of their other clients who seemed to have been pleased with the thorough, efficient, professional service they described in their reviews. I will make it my business to let everyone I come in contact know not to patronize this business, at least not the one servicing the Gaston area!

2020 was a difficult year in so many ways, but i could always depend upon the Molly Maid teams showing up when they said they would and doing a really good job of cleaning my house! Thank you all the teams that cleaned for me in 2020.

Beware. Quoted us a price to clean our empty house after moving. After 4 1/2 hours they called asking for us approve additional time. They were only halfway through. I stopped by and the two cleaners were standing around talking. We will never ever use them again. They took 5 hours to clean 1800 sq ft. My wife cleaned the basement an additional 1700 sq ft by herself in 2 hours. Planning on making a complaint with BBB and considering talking to my neighbor who works at Charlotte television station to see if others have had similar complaints.

I can speak highly enough about Molly Maid Southwestern Charlotte. From the first time Elizabeth came to our home to visit and assure us of our cleaning would be completed just the way we requested, to Erica and Leslie completing the cleaning with and A every time. Erica and Leslie are great with my boxer Jasper, we do not even have to be there they handle everything. They Are courteous and professional every time. Growing a relationship with Adam (owner) and his team has been a pleasure . When making a decision about trust and honesty Adam and his team have nailed it. They will continue to get my business. Satisfied with cleaning. But, they did not clean kitchen sink/dishes in the sink which I thought was odd. Overall good experience.

Elizabeth performed the initial evaluation and was friendly and efficient in her review of my home to understand how to price my bi-weekly service. Both teams have done a good job cleaning my house. They verify when they are coming to clean and supply me with a window on when to expect them to arrive. The teams have cleaned everything promised including blinds and baseboards. I receive follow-up calls from Elizabeth to validate I was pleased with the job the team performed. I feel the pricing is fair and my experience has been nothing but positive.

I can say enough about Team #2. I enjoy walking through the front door and having that clean smell greet me. They are amazing! Blinds, furniture, ceiling fans, everything is dusted and clean. The floors are clean and and the hardwoods shine. The bathrooms are immaculate. And something that rates top on my list is they love my black lab and she loves them. I feel the ladies did an excellent job cleaning the house. The interior of the house had just been recently spray painted and was completely empty when they cleaned. I met them when they arrived, gave them the key to lock up when they were finished. Here is something that I was very impressed about. During their cleaning, they had found a gift card to a restaurant that was some where in the house, probably on a closet shelf. Well, that gift card was left on the kitchen counter by the ladies when we returned to the house. It would have been very easy for them to take the card and I would never have been the wiser. That speaks for the honesty of the Ladies. The gift card was for approximately for $30.00 I can highly recommend Molly Maid for cleaning purposes.

They do stand by their service policy.The first team they sent a couple of months ago was great. They did an excellent job. This team, oh hell no. I had to wipe the floor with a damp paper towel to show them the dirt. They spent most of time complaining about cat fur - which, btw, I never saw in the tray of the ice/water dispenser until they visited. Nor did they clean said tray or any of the appliance externals. The hardwood floors have steaks because they werent using clean mops. The laundry room is sticky.

The cleaning company I originally hired canceled last minute, and Molly Maid was able to come out right away and save the day. They worked incredible hard and were very professional and kind. We paid Molly maid for 18 months of service, which amounts to more than 40 cleanings and more than $6,000 in fees. In that time, they damaged more than $2,500 worth of property.Anytime I called to ask why an area of my house wasnt being cleaned (despite them charging me for it), they treated me like an inconvenience. When I reported the damage to my dining table, I was told the owner was too busy to come assess the damage that day. In the meantime, he left me a rude voice message questioning my negative reviews online.He later excused his behavior stating he was frustrated to learn of our discontent in a review online. If he kept better tabs on his business, he wouldnt have been surprised because wed been vocal about our issues with Molly Maid for months.In a word, Molly Maid of SW Charlotte is unprofessional. From a financial standpoint, a total rip-off. Our long history of trying to make it work ended up costing us more than we imagined. We lost a lot of time and money to Molly Maid of SW CLT and their consistent response was to tell us it wasn’t a big deal and it wasn’t their fault.

Molly Maids of Southwestern Charlotte has been a great. We have had 3 previous maid services come into our home and this team of Marlene & Lupe have surpassed all previous experiences. Their attention to detail has been refreshing. Freeing me up to enjoy my home and family.

Fairly thorough job. A little more detail needed when cleaning mirrors and glass on shower walls/doors. Overall, very satisfied after first cleaning. Just completed 2d biweekly cleaning and no complaints this time.

I have only used Molly Maid once, and this cleaning was a “deep clean” done by a two person team in a 1600 sq ft house. It took them over three hours to complete the job and it cost me $276. The job they performed was mediocre and I was quite upset. There was dust all over the house still and they didn’t clean the top of the washer and dryer as listed on their cleaning sheet. My kitchen floors looked as if they hadn’t been moped at all. There were streaks from where the mop was brushed across the floor and there was still dirt on the floor. I called the office and they promised that a different team would come out to re-clean my home. The team that came out to re-clean did a wonderful job dusting and moping where the previous team slacked off. Overall I am pleased with the services I received, but I feel that some sort of reimbursement should have been given even though they came to re-clean. I’m not sure that I will be using their services in the future.

I had an amazing team T. And Konisha come today and I have a bad knee injury. They were not only excellent at their job. They went above and beyond my expectations and were so kind to help me in a time I am in need of help.Thank you for sending these angels to my house.

Team 2 came in and cleaned up after another team. They did a wonderful job. Only complaint was the main tv in den was unplugged where they dusted and a toque in master bedroom was behind the dresser. Great job cleaning though.

I am so happy that I chose Molly Maids to clean my home. My team, Deborah, and Sarah, are very thorough and very nice. I had been sick for months and didnt feel like doing anything, so my home had gotten very dirty. I am a very neat and tidy person, so the condition of my home made me feel even sicker! Deborah and Sara had it so spic and span duriing my initial deep clean, that I felt just wonderful. They are now my regular cleaning team and I love them and the great job they do.

I will not use them again and would warn others. Heres why: this local franchise has poor communication with their central call center, demonstrated a below average cleaning effort with no attempt to get the job done within a reasonable time, deceptive sales practices, and finally no wrap up email as promised. Ill give them two stars because their local manager was responsive during the cleaning, despite the results (I was not on-site). To top it off: What company charges $3 to process CC transactions? Its 2018 and using a CC couldnt be more standard, particularly with a firm that primarily books over the phone and the web. Eat the merchant fees like any other respectable organization.

Team 11 does a great job. Ms. Debra always comes in smiling, which I appreciate. They always ask me to check to see if everything is done to my liking; and it usually is.

Good initial experience. Not enough value of services provided for the money being paid. Their administrative team needs to do better in communicating politely with customers.
