I work with Novant Health and I can truly say Hoskins Park Ministries try to help all of Gods children no matter what the circumstance is. The Minister and his wife are doing Gods work one day at a time. I couldnt admire them more because of it. In my line of work I see homelessness on a daily Thank God for Ministries like this one who are willing to help the homeless that are willing to help their selves. Nothing in life is free we must work towards are Goals but having support is a GREAT thing.
Low cost and get to save money. The most important part is we have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Also building healthy relationships with our families and in our communities.
Incredible Christian ministry that helps the homeless achieve a Christian lifestyle with concentration on freeing the resident from the grips of addiction
Great second chance to experience Gods Love and freedom from addiction.
A place for new beginnings through Christ

I can’t say anything bad about Hoskin Park Pastor Jonny does have a heart for helping others reach God but at the end of the day it’s all about the individuals choices to want a clean sober life as far as the weekly rent it’s the most affordable around not a great area for recovery but where is??? All in all I’ve been through a lot worse and never went hungry there lol.
My son was not able to stay w me bc he is not on the lease, which forced him into homelessness. He has a job and I assisted him w finding Hoskins, as it seemed like a godly place where he would get the help and resources he needed to get on his feet. Instead, the people in charge of these houses speak to these men and treat them horribly bc they know they do not have options. At one point, my son kept being yelled at for something as simple as forgetting to wash a cup in the sink and was told that he would be put out and no one would care. My son was very broken from this experience, as he thought he was dealing with men who loved God. I called and spoke to the supervisor who said he would look into it. He was kicked out within a few days for coming in late. They not only have very rigid rules that have people who stay there walking on eggshells for fear of losing housing, but in talking with the manager I discoved this is more for men who just got out of prison and are recovering drug addicts...their website says this is for homeless men. Also note: They also charge a fee of $110/week.
They only house men who are not interested in helping themselves!
