I have been working out with Taylor’s guidance for almost a year now and I can’t say enough positive things about him and his gym. He is extremely knowledgeable & patient and explains the ‘why’ behind doing things we are doing and continually coaches and motivates and pushes me. He is extremely timely and the gym is pristine – which is extra nice during COVID. Everything is one on one and I truly love this as it’s tailored just for me. I am never ‘bored’ nor do I feel like I ‘can’t do’ the workouts he has customized for me. He keeps things interesting enough to not have me get ‘bored’ but I don’t leave ‘dying’ in agony or pain as I have with some other trainers in the past. I feel like we ‘push to continually gain ground’ but not to the point where I don’t ‘want’ to come workout again because I’m exhausted or pained from the previous workout. In a crazy way – I actually look ‘forward’ to the early mornings at the gym and can feel the strength I have gained and continue to gain. Highly recommend Taylor Carpenter personal training.

I would highly recommend Taylor. He has been helping me rehab an injury and get me back to lifting weights again. His business stood out to me because of his multiple certifications. I could tell he was highly invested into helping people reach their goals and had the knowledge to keep me safe. Taylor has helped regain my confidence in the weight room and helped me correct my form. His attention to detail is impeccable. He also takes great pride in the cleanliness of the gym which is very important right now with covid19. He is constantly wiping down equipment and social distancing. I have never had to stress about getting sick. Overall, I am so glad I chose Taylor to work with and I look forward to working with him for the next couple years.

I needed to make some lifestyle changes, but was struggling trying to do it on my own. In searching for a personal trainer, I was impressed that Taylor has his own facility and training sessions are one on one, so I decided to give it a try. I found Taylor to be very professional, knowledgeable and extremely well organized. His facility is immaculate. After three months, my original goals have been met. Ive lost 15 pounds, feel stronger, and have more energy. My diet is healthier and can now wear clothes that havent fit me in years. Due to Taylors influence, I like going to the gym, and now know enough of the basics to plan my own effective workout regiments. I am very pleased with the results.

I started with Taylor 4 months ago with pretty extreme expectations. Taylor immediately developed a plan for me that would not only allow me to achieve my short term goals, but also allow me to make a lifestyle change that would hopefully carry on forever. Between a very in depth and easy to understand meal plan, and a consistent workout routine based around the fundamental workouts he taught me; I was able to drop from 145lbs down to 130 in two months, then maintain that weight while building muscle along the way. He helped me track my daily weights, helped me stay motivated in and out of my sessions with him. He honestly stayed more invested in my progress than I did at first and this is what overall motivated me and helped me to see what a great trainer he is. His knowledge is extensive, and he’s there to help you achieve results and build a routine that changes your lifestyle for the long run.Listen to this guy and train hard and I promise you, ANYONE can achieve great results. I worked out at Taylor Carpenter Personal Training tuesday and had a great experience. The gym was modern, neat and spotless. I wanted to work on strengthening my upper back and arms. Taylor is hands down best in the business when it comes to personal trainer regime. He is very detail oriented and his work out schedule really had a profound impact on the way I looked, how I feel, and daily habits !He is very knowledgeable about different workouts and how to pace them, I even noticed on social channels those kind of workouts are done by celebrities or sports athletes (with high end resources) but same results can be achieved with Taylor and in a good time I must add and if your are committed !

I have been training with Taylor for the past 4 years and cannot recommend him enough. He will work with you and your training needs. As long as you are willing to truly stick to a regimen, you will see results. I have lost 60 pounds from being at my heaviest, but have gained a lot of strength working with him and it definitely shows in my clothes. If youre looking for a trainer, this is the one to work with.

Taylor is one special kind of trainer who makes every exercise look easier and makes every session exciting. He is very flexible with your schedule and always comes with a fresh mindset even if its around 12 in the midnight. Due to my busy schedule with flying coast to coast I had little free time and Taylor made me use this limited free time in the most efficient way. It would be an understatement to say that Taylor is the best physical fitness trainer in Charlotte, as any of clients, I stand by this statement and would not hesitate to recommend him for your fitness routine, may it be to get in shape, to loose weight or for strength.

I have been working with Taylor for a few months now. I have always been fairly active, but wanted some 1-on-1 training to meet some personal goals and I have been very pleased with the results here. It is evident Taylor knows what he is doing and my sessions are not repetitive so I dont get bored. The gym is super clean and Taylor is well-organized. I like that I am the only person there, there are no distractions, and I get instant feedback on technique/form. If you are interested in personal training with a side of nutritional counseling, I would definitely recommend Taylor.

It doesnt take long to realize Taylor is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. His commitment and focus to you (as an individual) helps tremendously in accomplishing your goals. Nothing is cookie-cutter; things are done based on your needs and circumstances. Although hell push you to make progress, real thought goes into the approach, so you dont need to worry about overuse-related injuries. And for those (like me) that appreciate it, hes very organized and runs a tight program. I highly recommend a consultation if youre interested in personal training.

Great experience. I was only able to train for 3 months but it was excellent. I lost weight and got stronger, felt incredible. I will go back when the time is right! The one-on-one is what I was looking for and this is the place. The gym has everything you need plus its always super clean! Hes a great guy too. Hes always there, ready to go.Definitely recommend!

Ive been working out with Taylor for about two months now. This man knows his biscuits and then some. An expletive is in order. You will get out of him exactly what you put into it. He is there to help guide you, as well as push you, but more importantly to do so in a safe way. Every workout is unique. Someone else posted that and I was like heh, we will see. Indeed, we did. I am stronger, have better posture, and lift more confidently especially as someone who has lower back trouble. I can not recommend Taylor enough; I have high expectations in the services I pay for, and he is spot on worth every penny.

Taylor provides a personalized and effective program, and Ive seen rapid, consistent results in my body composition, strength, and endurance since I started. For me, this has included nearly 20 lbs lost since I started 10 weeks ago. The workouts themselves have plenty of variety while being focused on high value movements, and because Taylor meticulously tracks your exercise history and areas of strength and weakness, they ultimately feel very data driven and targeted. This is my first time going to a personal trainer. Taylor listens to you and helps you develop a plan to achieve your goals. His equipment is A-1, his gym is very clean and organized and his 1 on 1 with you is very good. He is easy to get to in South Charlotte and you will see results if you do the work. Hes young and he likes technology like My Fitness Pal which also really helps. I have been working with Taylor for 3 months now. In the 3 months I have seen a tremendous change in the toning of my body and have noticed a significant change in my endurance and strength. The workout routine is never the same and it is easy to notice that Taylor puts in a lot of time outside of our sessions to plan each routine thoroughly. Ive only been going to see Taylor for a few months now, but I am already seeing improvements in myself. I used to be in shape when I was younger, then college, and then 10 years of sitting at a computer screen all day happened. I am feeling much better, have more energy, and am already seeing muscles I havent seen in a while. Taylor motivates me not by yelling but by example. Hes very disciplined with not only exercise but diet as well. Its inspiring to see someone so committed to living a healthy life. As for the workouts, the great thing is that they are varied and never get boring. He puts a lot of work into each individualized workout and makes sure you are hitting all of your muscle groups. Then, Taylor Carpenter Personal Training Studio is the place for you. I have been here just over three months and I can clearly see results with my body. I always wanted to learn how to work out properly and what it takes for all the athletes to be actually fit. I shared my personal goals with Taylor on my first meeting with him, he explained me about how our body works and how important mixing your workout helps you buckle up more! Taylor as a personal trainer is a really good motivator who will push you to your limits and you’ll still feel that you are working out with your friend. He’s a very down to earth guy and he knows what are your goals and will work with you. I started training with Taylor about 5 months ago. Discipline has always been my issue. Taylor was recommended by my friend. He is “AWESOME”. Taylor is very disciplined and particular about things and that’s a must quality for a fitness trainer. He is very punctual. His communication with you is top notch. Working out was an issue for me, I would rather play sports than workout but after consistent encouragement from my wife and the results I saw in her, I decided to give Taylor a shot. I have had multiple trainers throughout but was always disappointed b/c they didnt provide the best set of exercise and didnt push me to my limits. The first day/session with him and I knew he would help me get back in shape. His gym might be small but its perfect for the 1-on-1 training and he has all the equipment you could think of. With his abilities he can use one machine and do a whole day training with different exercises, just with one machine!!! He is the right person for the job...please give him a try...

First and foremost, Taylor is professional and courteous. During our initial consultation, he took time to answer all of my questions and listen to my fitness goals. He provided useful, honest feedback as to how he believed I could meet those goals. Taylor provides an overall training experience – a comprehensive and varied workout plan (never boring), attention to and instruction on form, resources on how to track meals and calories, and email blasts containing workout how-to instructions, trends in fitness, and resources on diet and supplements. Taylor’s coaching style suits me. He is deliberate and firm yet gentle and kind. He does not yell or trash talk but encourages me to push myself beyond my mental limitations. After five weeks of training with Taylor, I am amazed at how much stronger Ive become and how many sets I can get through without fail. Today, I did my first set of 95 pound deadlifts! Woohoo!!!Taylor’s gym is impeccably neat and clean and houses state of the art equipment.

I have been going to Taylor for 5 months now and have been amazed at the changes in myself as a result of his help. Taylor offers a truly 1 on 1 approach that doesnt just cover your sessions with him at the gym but extends to customization of your work out routine and nutritional guidance as well. No 2 days have been the same in regards to my workouts....yes, you may do the same type of exercise but its never in the same order/ day of the week. He switches up the workouts to tailor the approach to areas where you need additional strengthening, to alleviate stress to an injury and also to just keep you on your toes. He pushes me physically and mentally far more than I would ever push myself working out on my own - and he does it in a way that isnt militaristic or mean spirited. Outside of the sessions, Taylor is still looking out for your goals by encouraging you to track your food in MyFitness Pal so that he can better understand your caloric intake and can offer suggestions or advice to help support your workouts. In addition to the other great qualities, Taylor has been flexible with scheduling as I often have to travel unexpectedly for business - as long as I give him advance notice when possible he has worked with me to make up sessions Ive missed so that Im not getting behind or losing ground with my fitness goals. Working with him has been transformational and anyone looking for a PT should check him out.
