Horrible, just horrible. I don’t think they get out of the truck based on what I see when I come home. All you had to do was pick up a TV box. The previous week all you had to do was pick up the bag that you dropped. You don’t answer your phone and your mailbox is full. You should be in an aquarium because you suck all day and all night.Suck suck suck suck suck
Garbage truck driver Brooke wheel off of Trashcan to Quito threw it in the truck and then drove off I have called for three weeks trying to get somebody to replace again no response
Could be the laziest people of all time. Driver doesnt pick up my trash bins. Call customer service and the lady, who basically didnt want to help me, says she cant put out a missed bin call because its too early? So Ive to call back at 4:30. Why they cant take note of it and do it themselves Im not sure? But it shouldnt be that hard to contact the driver to come and do what they shouldve done in the first place. Very strange.
We moved to the area earlier this year and the property management company of our rental has a contract with Advanced Disposal so we have to use them. They are TERRIBLE! The waste disposal dumps trash on the street from just about every neighbors trashcan and then the crew who picks up the recycling bin, which is supposed to be every other week, only does so every 3-5 weeks. We end up taking the recycling to the dump ourselves most times. I saw them again today and they literally drove by as they looked at me. I tried to flag them down and they just kept driving, skipping several of my neighbors as well just to go on about their day. Weve tried contacting the office but they dont care so even though I hate leaving negative reviews, it seems to be the only thing we can do until the property management company makes a change.
On January 14th, 2015 I was driving down I-485 in Charlotte, NC and a local Advanced Disposal truck was approximately 60-75 yards in front of me (I purposely leave plenty of space between my car and any carrier with a load of debris). After about 30 seconds behind the truck, it dropped significant debris from over the top of the rear lift-gate, mostly what appeared to be large chunks of rock and hard clay. The truck did not have a protective cover over the load it was carrying (typically you see trucks like this with a mesh screen over their load). Given the separation I already had from the the truck, I had enough reaction time to further slow my car (probably to 45mph - which was a hazard in itself on I-485) and luckily I avoided the bulk of the debris. One large chunk of what I believe was hard clay managed to put a large hole in the side mirror of my car.I was able to take photos of the actual truck right after the incident. I called the local Advanced Disposal phone # on the side of the truck and was greeted by a helpful attendant. She put me on hold to go ask her supervisor about the issue. Her supervisor told her to tell me that I could file a claim, however Advanced Disposal never pays for road hazard issues. Is it really a road hazard when the debris came from your truck whose load was not even properly secured? To further fuel the fire, I was promised a call back from the supervisor within 24-48 hours. A week goes by. I follow up with a phone call to Advanced Disposal and again greeted by the same helpful attendant. She remembers our previous conversation. She puts me on hold and looks for her supervisor, who is currently out in the yard. She says he promised to call me back within the hour. Days later, still havent heard back from the supervisor. After doing some quick research, it appears that legally these situations seem to typically side in favor with the debris carrier. However as an individual I handled my complaint professionally, and Advanced Disposal could not have treated me more unprofessionally. I wanted to share this story with anyone who is doing business with Advanced Disposal.
