Geat Barbershop. They go cut all types of hair. My barber Latif has taken care of me for several years. He always keeps me looking clean and professional. The other Barbers do great work as well. If you live in the University Area, this is where you need to go.

I’ve never had such a bad experience getting my hair cut. Nice people except for the dirty looks behind your back. Never asked for any preferences I had for my hair just cut away without letting me look at the mirror, and nearly stabbed me in the eye with the scissors. My bangs were cut far too short and the rest was left twice as long. I had to trim it myself when I got home just so I could retain some pride, and it looked far better when I was done. Also kept pushing drugs on me and charged me more than I’ve ever paid for a haircut. Never going back and it seemed they didn’t want me to either. At least I like what I see in the mirror when I go to Supercuts.

Im always wary when I walk into a shop and see a sign that says Master Barber. This experience reminded me to always trust your gut. Cut wasnt awful, just not what I asked for. He didnt even cut the part I requested. Also in 2019 if a barber isnt going over the lines with a razor (especially when you have a beard), the cut is just...meh. As far as the shop goes, it was clean (even if the chairs were on the worn side) and the barbers were professional. Good vibe in the shop. The work from the other barbers looked good, tho. I would try one of the other barbers in the future, just not the Master barber.

Juke is your #1 go to!!!The only female in the shop. 2nd chair from the end. She charges $25 - $35 but it’s very well worth it ! All types of hair textures & dope designs too. Her social media is “Juke Tha Gawd” which she’s also giving a $5 discount to anyone who leaves an honest review. Like me. I suggest everyone go check her out!!!!!!! LIKE ASAP

I have been coming to get my haircut from Latif for as long as I can remember. A fellow New Yorker, who is down to Earth, and who is passionate about his craft. Making people feel welcomed is in his nature, and I am grateful for him.

Do not waste your money. I understand not all barbers can do everything but be straight up with me when I ask you can you cut my hair a certain way. All I asked for was a fade with a design. It typically takes about 45 mins - 1 hr for me to get my hair cut it took all of 25 mins here and there was no fade and the design was not even close to what I asked for. $20 down the drain for nothing smh.

Excellent customer service ok for mom and lil children to wait no inappropriate conversations among the barbers.

Got there early and HE was ready. Showed HIM a pic of the style I wanted and I got it. HE provided excellent customer service and I’ve made an appointment for 2 weeks...Mel is the Man!!!

I didnt want to cut my hair because i grew it so long. But i came in here today and i got blessed by a wonderful barber who took care for my hair better than i could and he cut the edges and i am very thankful for that guy.

The place is dirty. And old barber chairs that are not safe. Reasonable prices though.

$17 for a cut, gave the barber $20. He Rushed entire process, didn’t use a straight razor at all. I am bald, so I asked for complete bald. And to clean up my beard. He left hair all over my whole head In patches due to him rushing. Left scattered hairs under my beard and on my neck from the rush as well. I knew the entire time it was not going to look good based on how it was going and when it was done I was even more disappointed. I can honestly say In my 10+ years getting a cut, this was the worst one ever to date, complete waste of my money and time.

We did not visit to get a hair cut but my son had gotten sick outside and those gentleman in there were super sweet and helpful! They gave him water, checked on him and let us use their restroom which no other store would.
