When you’re new to an area it can be daunting to find a good barber. A friend told me about Wave and I’m glad I took his recommendation. The welcoming atmosphere put me at ease and the friendly banter made me feel included in the conversation. Taylor did a great job with my cut and made sure to check in with me along the way. I’m lookin good and feelin confident; I’ve received lots of attention and compliments in the few days since my visit. Overall, I’m extremely impressed and will definitely be back when the time calls.

After I had to cancel with my barber the day of a very important photoshoot I called Wave Barbershop and they told me to come on in. Not only did they take me when I called Tay SLAYED my haircut. Little does he know he is definitely officially my new barber. He was professional, took his time, wasn’t distracted and a master at his craft. Yes I did it today, the big chop. Easy to call and make an appointment. Owner (Tarlo) cut my hair this am. I appreciated he was on time and waiting for me. He sanitized the area before session. The atmosphere was relaxing and great conversation. He took his time and gave a short, yet feminine hair cut.Price for service was reasonable as well. I am very pleased and highly recommend this business.

Loved my experience here, especially as a woman who was going to do a “big chop” but had always gone to a salon vs barber shop to do it. Taylor did a great job, chatted with me the entire time, and it was not nearly as pricey as going to a salon. Been getting lots of compliments in the days after my visit. I went early on a Friday to beat the weekend rush so I was seen right away (really nice that they open at 7am). The atmosphere was just right for me - not vulgar and very welcoming. I will definitely be back when my hair gets long again.

I’m not the type to bash barbers who cut my hair but let me say this. You Charlotte barbers are in trouble. Taylor is probably one of the best barbers I’ve ever been cut by and I’ve tried over 10 barbershops since I’ve been in Charlotte. He’s not even 30 I think and he cuts like he’s been cutting for YEARS. Amazing work, very clean shop and amazing customer service. Will be going back since this is now my HOMES barber.
