Buddy who is one of the best barbers Ive worked with has recently moved there from Quail Corners Barber Shop that recently closed due to the pandemic, ask for him you wont be disappointed.The location is a nice old fashioned Barber Shop its clean with barbers who have long experience in the domain, its very hard to find a good Barber in Charlotte with all the cheap chains taking over and you usually get what you pay for with these, so dont do that mistake a go to a local professional place.

Dont bother unless you enjoy abuse. Called to make 1st appointment, the male answering was abrupt, & dismissive. Showed up on time. 3 barbers - no one bothered to say hello. Two in front were obviously in the middle of styling & talking. Barber in back was finishing someone up. After about 10 minutes he called another customer before me. Waited another 5-10 minutes, no one seemed to notice my being there. Got up & left..

Good old American barber. I moved to this area and was looking for a new barber. They are 5 minutes from my home. I read this review and was thinking about David. I went in, three guys were working and one lady was in the backroom. There was only one guy who greeted, talked to me. That was David. David is around 50 years old. I am in late 40s, so we are good match. Other guys are much older (60s/70s). It was Friday afternoon, and David was all booked that afternoon, so I made an appointment and came back on Saturday morning.He is precise, pays attention to details and what the customer wants. My hair is thick, hard, not easy to cut. He spent good 30 minutes and it is $16...I gave him $20, no change necessary. He is very good. I will come back to see him again.

Ive been getting my hair cut by Dane Cooper at Carmel Span for almost 20 years. He has always done a great job (and he takes Saturday appointments!!!!).Great atmosphere and great pricing for a Barber Shop in Charlotte.

Ive been going to David at Carmel for over 10 years. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. It seems all the barbers at Carmel have customers who theyve known for years.Even when I lived in Raleigh for a few years, Id find a way to make it back to Charlotte to get a hair cut.
