I took my 2015 Honda Accord to get the brake pads replaced because dealer said I was due. So I thought let me take to Asia Works because they charge less, instead of changing the pads they told that they were still good to use for another two oil changes. The dealer was trying to cheat me. They are very honest and professional. I would give them my business first than to the dealer. They are honest people and they saved me a lot of money that time. 😊

Hello I have a 2003 Acura CL Type S with the 5 speed auto and I wanted a quote for transmission rebuild. I have started to experience some of the dreaded slipping and checked the fluid to see it dirty but not burned or black. I will have to clean out all shift solenoids of debree if any and drain and refill with new dw1 atf fluid (could I maybe get a quote for that too?) I just want my car running normal again. I just bought it not more than a month ago from this elderly woman and its ran like a dream until today at work during my lunch break.

Stopped in to see about getting work done on a civic no start. Instead it was explained to me the steps to fixing it myself. After learning how to do so had a great conversation about many other things. Made me feel like family and i havent felt that way since leaving military. If you are in need of someone to fix your vehicle i would go there.

I used to bring my Honda Pilot here for many years. I have always had great experiences from oil changes to major repairs. Very trustworthy and always straight forward. I have a Ford currently but if I have another Honda again I will be coming back here.

I dont typically write reviews but I was so blown away by the customer service and sheer integrity of how this business is run that I wanted to show my support of the local business. As a young female, I have trust issues with mechanic shops taking advantage of my lack of experience and knowlegde (understandably!). So what I typically do is ask my car-savvy friends for advice on what could potentially be wrong with my car so that when I bring up issues at the mechanic shop, I can seem even remotely intelligible about whats going on. When I did this with Adam, little did I know I was telling him that what I suspected to be wrong with my air conditioning was the worst case scenario with highest associated cost. He told me to come in and let him run diagnostics as it may be a simple fix before jumping to the worst case scenario. Adam took about 15 minutes to figure out what was wrong with my air conditioning and came back to the lobby, walked me through his logic and reasoning, and it just so worked out to be a simple fix. He even spent the time to teach me a little bit about my cars air conditioning from electrical side. This no-BS, honest-to-goodness kind of approach to running a business has turned me a patron of his for the rest of my time here in Charlotte. Thank you, Adam! Look forward to our next lesson!

I went to see them with a noise I had under the hood on my 2000 Prelude. I am no mechanic and couldnt figure out what was up. Adam, took 2 seconds to tell me what was up. AMAZING. The best mechanics in the Charlotte area to service your Honda or Acura vehicle. They all know how to service Hondas and Acuras expertly and efficiently all at a great price. Honesty is what these people here are all about, if your car needs to be serviced, they will tell you, if it doesnt they wont find a problem seemingly out of nowhere like other car auto shops Ive visited. Take my advice and dont waste your time or money going anywhere else, this should be your first and only stop.

Took my 03 honda here a few months ago, with a overheating issue, turns out it was the head gasket and the cylinder head was slightly warped. They did a fenomenal job on my daily driver car!!! I was hesitant at first hoping it was a quick fix but I bit my tongue and paid for the repairs which was a good price for all the work they did. Car runs like nothing ever happened or l could say even better when I bought it! Glad I made that decision and would definitely suggest this place for all honda care, they know their stuff!!!

Hendrick Honda will lie and steal from you. Select Imports does not stand by their work like they used to (likely due to personal problems). I have been taking my Acura to Asiaworks for a while now. I know that there are other good Honda shops in the region, but, based upon my experience, Asiaworks is head and shoulders above them all. Dont let the tiny little shop fool you. I have yet to find techs that I trust this much. If these guys arent your first stop, they should absolutely be your second opinion shop. I trust these guys more than most doctors Ive had.

I own a Toyota and Asia works specializes in Hondas. Asiaworks was recommended to me by a friend, so I took my Toyota there for a 30,000 maintenance. I sat in the waiting room for over 4 hours waiting for the parts to come. The owner said that this was a one-time thing, and that the next time he could order the parts ahead of time and it wouldnt take as long.My car is now due for a 35,000 maintenance. I called on Friday morning to request an appointment. I left a message, but when I hadnt received a response by Monday morning, I called again and left another message. No response. I called again Monday evening. On Tuesday morning, after having received no reply yet, I called again, and the owner answered. He said that he could do the work, but was trying to move away from anything other than Hondas. He was unaware what was required for the 35,000, and asked me. He kept repeated that he was trying to specialize in Hondas, so I finally just said, Look, you apparently dont want to do this, so lets just forget it.Ill admit that Im from a different generation, a time when people seemed to be more considerate than they are now. This business may be very good at auto mechanics, and I can certainly understand if it wants to do only Hondas. Not a problem. But at least have the common courtesy and respect for other people to simply return my call and tell me that, rather than make me call back three times until I finally reach someone to tell me. Ive lived in several states, and cant remember encountering so many inconsiderate people as I have here in NC. People who dont return calls, dont keep appointments, and who dont explain and dont care. Add Asiaworks to that list.

Make sure you deal with Adam.... He is one of the best mechanics for Hondas around. He fixed my 95 Accord that other mechanics would say cost me well over $1000 to fix. It was just the EGR valve that needed cleaning.

Ive sat in the lobby and heard Adam diagnose the cars after people mimic the noises their cars are making over the phone. Hes the Honda whisperer. I took my car to the dealership for an oil change and was told that my car needed a new $400 oil pan to stop oil leaking at the drain plug. I got under the car to take a look and saw oil leaking all around the area above the oil pan drain plug. I thought it was a crankshaft seal and disassembled the engine only to discover the crankshaft seal was fine. I called Asia works and described the issue to Adam. He immediately knew it was a small seal inside the oil pump which mounts on the engine right in front of the oil pan drain plug. In short, the dealership mechanic and I were wrong.This shop is the best in town for Honda/Acura maintenance and repairs. You dont work with a service advisor like you would at a dealership. Instead, you talk directly to Adam or Casey, the two mechanics that do the work. More importantly, Adam answers the phone in 3 rings. Theres no phone tree or need to leave a message with a service advisor that doesnt return your call.

The only place I feel comfortable taking my car just wish they werent so busy all the time but I guess thats a good thing

Took my van in because the engine light was coming on intermittently. The quickly diagnosed the problem and told me I would need to take to a Honda dealership because there is a Service Bulletin for the problem. I would HIGHLY recommend them and will be having them service my car in the future.

I love Adam and his team. Adam is so nice and helpful and will take the time to not only explain, in thorough detail, but will also walk you through step by step how they are going to fix it. My Honda was the biggest pos on the road and Adam kept that thing pushin until I was tired of dealing with it. I had a few thousand dollars of work done here over a 2 year time period. Everytime I took it in I got it back fast and running right. I never felt like they talked down to me or lied to me because I am a female. This place is the best place to take your honda, for sure.

Adam and his team at Asiaworks in Pineville are the greatest. I took my fiancés car to adam on 3/30/2016 with a code that other shops were telling me would need a secondary diagnostic upwards of over $100 dollars just to diagnose. Adam asked me for the code and gave me the possible issues it could be and promptly asked me to bring the car over. He kept the car for a few hours, drove it, and checked the components and turned off the check engine light via system clearing. Instead of charging me to diagnose then possibly just replacing a part blindly like the other shops most likely were planning to do, Adam did not try to nickel and dime me and stated if the code comes up again we can diagnose further but that the issue that was happening did not occur. I appreciate a honest mechanic and from now on while my fiancé owns her Honda, Asiaworks will be the only place her car sees for major repairs and service intervals. If you own a Honda made product, believe me when I say Adam and his team are great at what they do and honest in a profession where that unfortunately is seldom seen.

Honda Works hasnt even finished working on my car, but my interaction with the owner makes me very confident that I made the right choice. I described my problem and he knew the likely culprit, based on the year and model of my car. They know their Hondas here and its likely I wont go back to the dealership for any service in the future.
