Can’t say enough about the top-notch service from this UPS store since Michael took over.. He and his staff are always friendly, fast, courteous, and will go above and beyond to help with any of your needs. The store is so clean and professional now. Highly recommend
They opened on time. They are franchise and could not help me with my issue but they were so nice. It was just one guy and he was holding the store together. It literally smelled like they had a cleaning company come in that morning!! The floors were clean. Machines, tables and all the signs in place. Sound unreal? It was actually done and perfect! This is the type of UPS store you want to do business with. Best customer service I experienced with this specific UPS store!
Always impressed by the service at this UPS store. Most recently, they easily helped me sort out a pretty complicated mistake that Amazon made with their labels after another UPS location had sent me on my way.
Phil and Eve are wonderfully helpful! Thank you both so much for your great work!
Very professional, courteous and helpful staff. Store is clean and I would highly suggest using them for all your shipping, copying, mailbox needs!
Do you remember the sloth scene from the movie Zootopia? It was like that, but four staff people.Edit (4/13/2021): When I came into the store there was only one person in line ahead of me and 4 people being served by 4 staff (one was the owner). It was not at all crowded as some reviews reported. One of the staff was making lengthy casual conversation with the person he just helped. The owner then served the person in front of me and walked away from the counter to work in the back. The owner glanced at me now and then and saw how long I was waiting. When it was my turn he walked up to our slow but simple transaction (sending a package) and said, thanks for your patience, and walked away without assisting the staff member struggling through the transaction. I was cautioned about the store but went anyway because it was on the way to work.
I placed an online order for a printed manual for pick-up in the store as I have done many times before on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. It is usually a fast turn around, so when I did not receive an email that is was ready for pick-up I called the store that Friday to see if it was ready. First I was put on hold for 17 minutes, then disconnected. I called back and was told that they did not print manuals and to use the tracking number. I stated I only had the order number. Since it was a pick-up order there was no tracking number. Leah, the UPS employee kept insisting I was a liar and they did not do that and there had to be a tracking number. She could not believe they printed manuals for pick up. Then she hung up on me after calling me a liar. I called back and spoke to the Manager, who was very nice and was immediately able to look up my order no problem and said it was not quite ready. They would email when ready. On Tuesday 8/25, still no email, so I went by the store and it was ready. No one contacted me at all. I could hear staff in the back, I am assuming the same girl talking about me being the one who called who did not know they tracking number. She was loud enough for me to hear, yet the manager who was standing there did not step in and apologize. There is NO tracking number for pick orders. The fact the staff is clearly untrained, rude to customers, and openly talking loudly about them in front of the manager is just amazing to me.I will say I have been a customer at this UPS store for the past 6 years and this is my first issue with them. However, they have lost me as a customer given how horribly I was treated and the fact the manager did nothing. I truly hope he takes this to heart and starts training his staff about what services the store provides and enforcing a positive work climate.
Parking is terrible, service is slow, organization of the store is haphazard. Today, I had to pay a dollar for you to print a prepaid label, to ship something within your own system, in your own store. That is unsatisfactory, and a sure way to gouge customers
The 1st time I came here to drop off an Amazon package, the girl that helped me was unfriendly & barely acknowledged me. I thought maybe she was having a bad day so I decided to give it another go. 2 people behind the counter, each helping a customer. It took about 18 minutes total to drop a package and scan a label. The employees clearly hate their jobs. Efficiency & friendliness is definitely not their forté. I’ll drive to the James Island location next time.
This place is pretty awful most of the time but can occasionally be pleasant enough. The location is really terrible though. Oh and they are closed for an hour from 12-1 if there are only two people working apparently. It’s what the sign on the door says today 🤷🏻♂️
The staff here, especially Eric, are incredibly helpful. Props to him and Keeley, who just took care of packing and shipping a bunch of gifts with care and good cheer.
I had the worst experience with Hugh. Will never use this location again. Thumbs down. So disappointing and unprofessional.
I went into your store on July 2, when the face mask requirement was already in place. The young lady behind the counter did not have on a face mask and told me she did not even have one. I find that hard to believe since most employers provide them to employees. But the bottom line is that she was not wearing one and stated that she did not have one. Last time there for me!
Worst location ever do not use. Lost my package Since December and still haven’t gotten my money back. Hugh Taylor manager has been giving me excuses since my claim was started now I’m told He can’t help me. If there is anywhere I can post reviews the public needs to know about this UPS location #2114
Currently 9:10am and they still aren’t open because they are waiting on the keys from the owner. They said it should be another 15 mins. This is not the first time the store has not opened on time, in fact this is the second time this month that I had to wait for them to open. I come early to avoid long lines around the holidays but I am better off just driving to the Folly Rd location.
I started coming to this specific location because the staff members were pleasant and service was fast. The owner has a horrible attitude and talks down to his workers and customers. I’ve witnessed several interactions between him and his customers and I tended to avoid him because of what I saw. Recently I went to the store and he was the only one working. He was incredibly confrontational because I asked why they were closing early, an appropriate question when they weren’t due to close for another hour and the doors were already locked with other customers inside. When I asked how would customers know about their new hours, or how long he thinks they would be closing early, he lost control. He was very aggressive in his mannerisms and in his response. I asked him why he was yelling at me and he continued on, almost belligerent at this point, that he wasn’t yelling. All of this in front of another customer and worker! I was in disbelief! All of this immature behavior over a simple question? Absolutely no one deserves that level disrespect! I asked him his name and he smugly replied, “Hugh, I’m the owner so when you call to complain you’ll be complaining to me.” This is absolutely disgusting behavior and shouldn’t be tolerated whatsoever. So what that you’re the owner? That doesn’t mean you get to treat your customers like they are worthless! His behavior was despicable and he should be held accountable by his superiors. Have some respect for yourself and your community, Hugh Taylor.
Manager Hue made my experience horrible I would like someone high than him too give me a call immediately
First time going to this UPS and they are wonderful! Lee helped me with everything I needed! Will definitely be back!
This is the only UPS I go to for my Amazon returns. The staff are quick and efficient
Absolutely abysmal experience at this location. I’ll gladly drive across town to not deal with the inconsiderate and rude staff here. These are franchises so I won’t hold it against anyone but this location but UPS should really look into who they let use their name. Awful awful awful.
Shipped a computer overnight on Monday 8-17-20 to USC in Columbia SC. As my daughter was waiting on the computer I kept checking the UPS website and it said that it had been scanned in. It was never picked up according to the website. I went in today, for the second time on 8-19-20 and after a complete run around as I was leaving an employee came out and said that I found your computer it was misplaced. I had spoken to the owner on the phone and got the run around. I paid $45.50 to have it shipped and left my phone number so that I could get a refund and no call or refund. Stay away from this place. Yes Im still waiting on my refund!!!!!!!Still waiting on refund!!!
Phyllis at the front desk is amazing! She got our documents notarized, scanned, copied and overnighted efficiently and with a smile! She can solve any problem and does not waste your time or hers! Shes really too good to be working there and I was pleased when she said she was going to college. You GO, Phyllis!!!!!! With your attitude, you will succeed. Thanks a million!
Great communication. Amazing service. Was even cheaper than was initially quoted. Nothing but good things to say.
Premium price and rough service.Specifically: I was charged $10 to send an envelope from Charleston to Wilmington on the 22nd. It’s the 29th and it has not arrived yet. I called, they put me on hold for 15 minutes then was disconnected. In store service is not great either. Turnover is high. You have to get lucky and catch someone who is not brand new behind the counter.USPS offers better service at a lower cost.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Staff does not know how to properly communicate & has extremely indifferent attitude towards customers.
Ive been using this UPS store to ship my canvas prints for years now. Theyve always done a great job handling and packaging the prints so they arrive safely. The main thing that keeps me coming back is the people. Everyone there is helpful and personable so you feel like youre doing business with individuals and not just a corporation.
Very crowded. Line was outside with a dozen people inside.
Horrible management. Employees seem to be nice, but store management and lack or organization takes away from that. I had a box here, it has since been closed due to a store error. I have yet to receive ANY of my mail, even things with tracking confirmed. Ridiculous. Formal and legal complaints to be filed.
I’ve always been very happy with UPS, until recently. I mailed a package to a friend, and apparently it had been returned to UPS and therefore to me. There was no signature required for the package being delivered, and the recipient never had anything left on their door notifying them they had a package to pick up from a different local UPS. It was returned to the store, and I’ve been told they won’t issue a refund or re-mail it. I’m disappointed because I paid for this to be mailed over a month ago, and they waited 3 weeks to notify me and let me know the package was sitting at their store for me to pick up AND that I have to pay again to mail it. At this point it’s not even about the money, it’s about the customer service. I went in today requesting to speak to the manager who had left me a voicemail yesterday, and the woman working in the front had a major attitude problem. I don’t recommend this particular location.
I needed a very fragile item boxed and shipped at the very last minute. They did everything professionally and quickly while I waited. On the expensive side but worth it.
Very friendly and responsive staff! Hugh stayed more than half an hour late to finish up our large print project. Excellent service, excellent quality printing, and very reasonable prices.
Seriously, this is the best place ever for everything. I went to USPS on Ashley River Phosphate and they were really rude, I then came to UPS on Savannah and this place is AWESOME they made me felt welcome and were super friendly and just really really great staff all around. Ill be using UPS for everything now. They also notarize and do passport photos. Ask for Chris hes the coolest dude youll ever meet.
I have been into this store to try to ship things for clients under their accounts on several occasions now and the employees are rude and unhelpful! For some reason this location is unable to ship UPS Corporate accounts, which makes no sense and they always divert you to the main Hub in North Charleston instead of recommending customers to their competitors at The UPS Store on Folly Road who seem able to do this simple task.
If you are sending anything valuable, please A) Get insurance B) Have them pack it. I sent some valuable comic books that were graded in a hard plastic. Wrapped in bubble tape (I thought it was enough) the issue was that the receiver gave me the wrong address - so the package was sent back to me. I had to pay for shipping again (with out opening it) finally it arrived. When it did it was broken. The package then went through a nightmare of moves crossing Charleston to NY 5 times before it was even checked. When they finally checked it my damage claim was denied. Im now waiting to get them back. I lost the value of rating the comic books $120, and $32 in shipping costs. And now I have damaged goods and nothing to show for it. Becareful and dont trust anything. Double check everything and have them signed off that they packed it.
I am a wedding videographer and had arranged for some camera rentals to be shipped and picked up here since I am from out of town. The camera rental arrived early Friday and were to be returned by Monday. I couldnt get here Friday but was literally at the door 2 minutes before opening on Saturday. The guy working was looking everywhere for the package repeatedly saying its here somewhere and Im like yeah, better be, cant be anywhere else. Long story short, someone there had accidentally loaded the box onto the trailer, taking it to the Hub. I was not only out of $250, but also had no equipment for this wedding I was filming. I was frantic, and had to call around local companies, obviously very last minute, and had to pull something together. Owner has been dodging my calls and I couldnt even get an apology. Ironic to have a support local business sign in the entrance when you guys really messed up my local business. Worker had ONE job to literally just not touch the package and leave it alone, but it was not understood. Will never have anything delivered here again.
So I mostly just take my amazon returns here but they are so nice every time that Ive used them for other shipping needs. They sell greeting cards and packaging supplies. I think they also offer PO Boxes.
Inconsistent service is the best way to describe my experiences here. There is high turnover with the staff, so sometimes you may have an outstanding experience and other times you may have a truly horrific day- ruining experience. I have witnessed employees and the owner yelling at each other multiple times over complicated orders/ requests (with large crowds in store). Occasionally, even printing a label is a long and painful process. Even though this location is very convenient for me, I have decided to take more complicated jobs (posters, lamination..etc.) to places like Fedex (which btw they are nicest people ever- Citadel mall location 10/10) and I only use this location for simple drop offs (with a label in hand and ready to go). After multiple times interacting with the owner, I can say out of 10 major interactions he was nice and helpful maybe once? He is always overwhelmed and yells are both customers and his employees. When I come to location I have to mentally prepare for it to be a seriously unpleasant experience and the only reason I still come is because of convenience and ups drop off.
Went to deliver a package during the holiday rush. The safe was polite and quick! Enjoyed my experience which I was dreading shipping anything this time of year!
For some reason the woman at this store is either extremely lazy or just untrained. A few days ago I tracked my package online then went 4hrs later to pick it up. First the girl at the counter said the truck had not come yet today. So I left and came back few mins later after confirming with customer service that the had come in and my package was at the store. She had to do a little digging but found it, its right behind her, thought it can be a honest mistake didnt care and left. Today same exact scenario and same answer I left and came back 10mins later to ask her to do little digging again and the package was there. The online live tracking doesnt lie and if you are not happy assisting customers then dont be at the front counter. Please understand that other peoples time is as important as your own.
Theyre always so friendly and nice. I shop online a lot and they see me quite a bit with returns. Always a great experience.
Recently shipped a item at FedEx a week after shipping from this UPS. Found out that UPS over charged me big time for the shipping. Big Time! Will never go here again!
Wrong store.
Helped me out in a bind. In town for work with no access to the scissors or tape and needed to mail a Amazon return. The super nice young guy at the counter took care of everything for me no problem.
Thank you for the clean store, knowledgeable staff, quick service, and chill atmosphere courtesy of polite, efficient, pleasant millennials ❤️
Always friendly and super helpful!
They are always friendly and helpful. I go there several times a month and the service is consistently outstanding.
These guys and gals rock, top notch service. I highly recommend .
I ship alot from this store and the crew here is amazing, always happy and always helpful, i ship UPS soley because of the great customer service i get at this store
Chris and all the folks at this UPS store are extremely professional and friendly! I had to handle this shipment remotely and they were terrific!
I do a lot of shipping through this location and always have excellent customer service. Its my go to for any of our business and personal shipping and postal needs.
Came in here earlier today to drop off some Amazon returns. I needed to organize them as I had several (three separate packages), so I asked them to use their shipping tape. While I was doing this, I noticed that I was being watched intently by two employees. After closing the boxes and attaching the return labels to them, I returned the tape and took the boxes to the counter. At this point, the employee named Chris informed me that, because I had used too much tape (apparently it is far more expensive to attach shipping labels with scotch tape as opposed to the sticky envelopes) he was going to have to charge me a packing fee. Taken aback, I asked him if he was serious, he replied that we need to make our money somehow. Very well and good; at this point I politely ponied up the $2 he was asking for, informed him that UPS Stores are paid a stipend for each box that is dropped off, collected my packages, and departed. Hope you enjoy your ~$1.50 (after merch fees and taxes), will not be returning to this UPS Store again. For anyone reading this, if you want good service and reasonable owners, check the store further down Savannah Hwy by Main Rd in the Publix shopping center, Susan B. is great people!!!
A UPS store that you can’t use a UPS account to ship something -just a fantastic waste of time
Excellent service!! Im in this store every week and always receive excellent service.
Never have any stamps when I go there, do you guys not carry stamps?????
Needs to remove themselves from queries involving fingerprinting services. They dont provide them.
Parin provides great customer service.
Super helpful employees and easy to work with. Offered to re-pack multiple packages into one if it would save us money.
Dont waste your time at this location.
Excellent service!
Thanks for all the help with a difficult shipment, i will use Hugh and his team again
Have always used the ups store until I used this location and had to deal with Naji who was very rude. Think I will use staples from hear on out.
Employees are always helpful and knowledgeable! I always come here for all of my printing and shipping needs!
Your typical UPS Store. Friendly and helpful staff.
If you want to give your business with a business that stands by their word and respects customers, DO NOT GO HERE! Owner is not LOCAL, doesnt care about Charleston residents and seems to be having trouble staying in business, since he couldnt deliver on a $20 refund check he promised in November. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.
Bad service......dont ever shipped here with us postal service....I stayed in line for 25 min to ship priority mail us postal service ..( 2 to 3 days ) ....with tracking number .....it took another day for my package to reach Charleston hub ......another words they didnt ship your package the same days as the real post office ......its the ups store so they only care about ups service I guess........rude service too......stay away..............
Always a quick & friendly interaction
Great customer service
Great store!
