Initial walk in assessment was great. Lively, friendly staff, TV to watch during my wait which wasnt long. My stylist was this pink haired lady. She was very friendly and kind. She paid attention to every detail of how I wanted my hair then offered input as to her professional opinion. Then she began. Super quick and the meticulous attention to detail was ground shattering. Ive always been able to find a spot here or their that was bad. With this lady. Nothing, I swear the haircut is flawless. Ive been complimented so many times on how great I look. Ontop she also shaved my face 100x better than I ever could and washed my hair then styled it. I love my haircut and she will be my forever stylist. I waited over 30 min and still didnt get a seat. It took 1 girl the entire time to finish 1 simple fade and the other girl finished 1 haircut and disappeared for 10 min. She still wasnt back when I left.

Was hesitant at first, but theyve done a better job than the higher priced barber shop i previously went to. Michelle is my stylist of choice and she always does a fantastic job, and is super professional and friendly.

The place was clean and the website made scheduling a breeze. Staff rigorously followed COVID guidelines. However, despite everything else being nice, the haircut itself was less than great. After emphasizing repeatedly, several times, with great emphasis, a photo example from a previous haircut, not to blend in the hair on the left side since I have an awful cowlick there...the barber then did exactly that. Leaving the hair standing up on the side of my head until it grows back in. I honestly felt I was at risk of sounding condescending by emphasizing it so much, but apparently not enough as exactly what I asked not to happen still happened.

Shady clipper attempted to charge for services not rendered. She then lied repeatedly and poorly. I wont return.Have all of you customers noticed that the responses to the reviews of the customers are all canned? Theyre all the same and often inconsistent with the reviews themselves!Lets see what this addendum receives from the owner!

I called up to schedule an appointment I was really right down the street they said download the app and I said I just want to come in I live very close.The woman said we take walk-ins come on in.When I went in the woman said I was required to fill it out my personal information in order to get a haircut.I said I would be happy to give my name but notMy phone email and zip as they required. I was refused to get the haircut. So if you want to give up your personal info (in all likelihood to be sold) thenThis is the place for you. If you want to haircut find someplace else.

It was okay other than the massage gun from MVP service...the lady ran it slightly on my neck and base of neck and everything I felt was so weird like I could pass out. Learning now that she couldve tore my cartoid arties and lead to a stroke. I dont feel great in that area now so got to wait and see if she did damage. She shouldve know better

It’s the same as it usually is, at least one person greets you from the moment you open the door and gets you either checked in or makes sure that you have already checked in online. If there are any waiting times, they do a good job at keeping them pretty accurate so that you can go run an errand or something and then come back and get your hair done. In my experience, everyone in there is very nice and willing to engage in conversation throughout the haircutting process. They keep the store neat and clean and they are strictly adhering to COVID-19 regulations. I enjoy going there and always come away with a nice haircut and a few good laughs. Keep up the good work!

I put a 5 star review a few months ago, I cannot say the same about this experience. I told the stylist several times about my cowlick. And for the 2nd time, the back of my head is messed up... She showed me a way to style my hair, but I work outside, and with the summer comes the product sweats from my head. I really want to refund the 25 bucks I spent, eventhough I only asked for a trim.My hair was also done by the current Monthly MVP stylist. Very friendly, but doesnt listen to her clients when they specify.

I took my 15 year old son in and he was very specific about the way he wanted it cut. Nothing crazy just to keep in longer and thin it out. Liz not only cut all his hair off but the cut was uneven and had actual chucks taken out. When he asked her to please stop she didnt and just did what she wanted. We will never go there again !!!

It was Sunday and I needed my hair cut and most places aren’t open around that time. Luckily, I saw Sport Clips was available so I felt like it would be a nice place to get a trim. They did not disappoint. Thanks to Shavon for great care and a flourishing conversation. Great part I enjoyed was getting the Shampoo and Conditioner because it made my hair ‘breathe’ you could say. Appreciate it! 👌

Feel that I didnt get the full MVP service. No hot towel. Felt like I was rushed through. Should have waited for the girl that I had last time which was due in at 2.

Asked for a quarter inch off and left with essentially a buzz cut, with random short and long patches of hair. Use only if you know your whos cutting your hair. If you choose first person available may the odds be in your favor.

Me & my wifes autistic son went to get his hair cut. Friendly staff,they did an excellent hair cut and was very pleased.

Every time I come here they do an awesome job on my sons hair.the staff was friendly and it wasnt crowded which was nice. Everything was clean and organized. Ive been here approximately 10-15 times so far and I was 100 percent satisfied. Ive tried other haircut places in the area and they had been hit or miss.

Loved the way everything from the walk in to the walk out was planned and cared for. Felt safe and comfortable to be in public and welcomed like a old friend. The safety and sanitization of the facility was awesome. Will be back as long as your open.

It was good really quick got a good haircut fairly cheap. Kinda smell funky in there tho thats why only 4 stars but maybe they had just used some cleaning stuff or something

Had a great experience with Shavon at the James Island sports clip. My haircut, shampoo, head and neck massage went so well my wife decided to join in on the fun... great experience and sadly on our part unexpected. As Arnold says... we’ll be back!

Wonderful ladies and great customer service. The one issue that will stop me from coming back is they have a sign saying the restrooms are not for the customers! I still went in to wash my hands as I feel it is important.

My 14 year old got his second haircut with Kendra. He wanted a new look so we brought a picture of what he wanted and Kendra nailed it! He wasnt big on the hairstyling product she used, but he’s just not a “hair gel” kind of kid. He said Kendra was really funny too which is never a bad thing. This is our go-to for haircuts. Check in online and next time we will request Kendra if she is available! Thanks!

I can’t say enough about the staff at this location and specifically Amanda. The hair cut was amazing but the conversation and personalities of the staff made it well worth the drive from Goose Creek. Thank you guys for giving me a reason to continue to do business with Sports Clips!!

I checked in online at about 1:30 and was told it would be about an hour wait, so I head there about 10 minutes before the expected ready time only to find the guy listed after me being assisted. He was there before me, sure I understand that. But once both stylists were done cutting hair and two more arrived presumptuously for the night shift, one of the stylists sat to get her sideburns trimmed, while the others chit-chatted; because her sideburns were more important than the customer. Im not one to write negative reviews but no one seemed willing to accept my business, so I happily went elsewhere. Just figured I would share this with whoever is running the store. Working in customer service, I simply was not impressed with the unwillingness to help the only customer in the store.

At 9:20 AM on Saturday, I was told it would be an hour. At 10:15 it showed 32 minutes for me. At 10:58 I was finally called to a chair. Once seated, the service was very good. Please note the sign in the front window says NO WAIT. Not the best customer service. As I said, the haircut was very good.

Cheap for what they do. Got a haircut, shampoo, massaged and styled looking sharp for $25. Been 3 times and each time the same price, 3 different cosmetologists and all had great service.

I ate at a waffle House and found a free coupon. Free haircut? Why not. Walked up, the sign says no wait. That was a lie. I was never greeted, I had to catch someones eye. Decided to just go home use my own clippers like always.

High prices than other sports clips, and they DONT offer free neck trims between cuts like other sports clips. Also, like other people are saying, you have a pretty good chance of getting an incompetent hair stylist. Manager couldnt care less.
