Get yourself to Jackie in Loft 5!!!!! My hair looks stunning! I needed major color correction, because I hated my hair color. She was able to ask me the right questions to find out what I didn’t like about my color and what my dream would be. She totally achieved that! Plus she was fun & personable. Highly recommended!!!

Just got a really great haircut from Noushin, but more importantly she is super upbeat and bubbly! An absolutely joy getting a cut with her and will definitely be back. Also got a great cut with Amber a few months back (temporarily out of the salon) so I doubt you can really go wrong with this place. Plus, its way more accessible than going to Franklin to get a cut. Cant recommend enough!

Amber is very nice and caring. She loves doing what she does and she does it well. She is very thorough with her work. Makes sure her clients are okay, and likes everything, every step of the way. Wouldn’t go to anybody else for my blow outs and hair treatments. Book her! You won’t regret it. Ps: she be having the good snacks too!

Amber was absolutely spot on. She really listened to exactly what my son was looking for, and the haircut was FANTASTIC. She is also really personable and easygoing, very knowledgeable about hair care and styling, a very relaxing atmosphere. Vanity is both a barber and a stylist. I was really happy with My fade and lineup. On top of a stellar haircut, Vanity Ambello also offers an awesome experience as well. I’m so happy I found Priscilla!! I went in for highlights and a cut and came out LOVING my hair!! She was able to lighten my hair and kept it healthy and soft. I brought a picture in and she listened to everything I wanted! She also is SUPER easy to book with and is really responsive when she is contacted. I even had something come up before my appointment and she was able to switch it around so I could still come in at a different time! Super flexible! Priscilla is professional and super friendly. I love how easy it was to talk with her!! The salon room is such a cute, quaint, and clean place! I would definitely recommend it to anyone! 10/10 for sure!! Oh and her prices are great! Book with Priscilla, you won’t regret it!!!

I agree with all of the other positive reviews, Amber is a professional and provides great haircuts. She spends a lot of time ensuring everything is perfect. Shes also very flexible and always able to accommodate my schedule.Her loft is nicely decorated and comfortable. Even after I moved away from Chapel Hill, I make the trip back to get my hair cut here.

Amber is an amazing stylist and my experience with her was wonderful. She was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I felt like I was chatting with an old friend 5 minutes into meeting her. Plus, my cut looked incredible and I felt like I should have paid twice as much as I did. I probably would if she charged it. Cannot recommend her enough.

Amber Mellon provided two of the finest haircuts that Ive ever received, and they just so happen to be the first two cuts that Ive received from her! Amber is extremely friendly and hospitable, and her salon space is very cozy and comfortable. I cannot overstate the immense value for the services that she provides! Amber is great. Before discovering her I had tried several other places in the area. I would ask them all to do the same basic thing to my hair, but I was never blown away by the results. Then I went to Amber and got noticeably better results than with all the others. She also goes the extra mile by making clients feel comfortable, building trust, and making recommendations. At my age you want to find a stylist who is professional, engaging and pleasant. You dont want to waste time hanging about in a waiting room and yet you want someone that can fit you in at a moments notice. For me Amber provides all of it, good conversation, excellent hair styling...But what makes it even easier, Amber texts me when my visit is due, makes it really easy for me.

After trying quite a few different barbers and hair salons in the Chapel Hill/Durham area, I finally found Amber! Ive been visiting her for over a year now because she always goes above and beyond what anyone else has done for my hair in the area. Shes personable and truly cares about her clients. She does a great job of listening to her clients preferences and suggesting something complimentary to their style before trying it out. I plan to continue seeing her for all my hair needs as long as possible!

I would never recommend Sydney. I paid more for her services than what the others charge because she said she was a blond specialist. Ive had my hair bleached for almost 10 years and know how it should be done. When I left I suspected she had not left the product to process long enough and I was right. I then had to rearrange my schedule to go back the next day for a redo. Even then she only did a partial touch up so I will still have a grow out line that the next person will have to correct. I would never go back to Sydney.
