Zero tolerance for being exactly 10 mins late. Receptionist talked to me and then to Stylist, who spent another minute or two apparently making the choice to skip me to help the guy who walked in behind me and had an appointment 20 mins later. This was all very unclear to me and was eventually told that I no longer had an appointment and needed to sit and wait for a no show. Didnt end up getting a haircut after booking over a week ago. Left me feeling very frustrated and wasnt even offered a consolation beer or another appointment. To contrast, Ive had many good experiences at the Durham location and will definitely be sticking with them instead.

Great place, definitely my new regular place. I took the recommendations from the reviews and got my haircut by Angelica. She did a fantastic job and answered all my questions about taking care of a new hairstyle. She was also super helpful when I didnt know exactly how I wanted it cut.They are taking fantastic COVID precautions: taking everyones temperature when they walk in, requiring masks, cleaning up thoroughly after each visit, etc.

Ive been to this location several times and had my hair cut by Angelica on many occasions. She always does an awesome job! She consistently cuts my hair the exact same way every time without me even having to tell her how I like it. Shes really freindly and very professional. I highly recommend Angelica to anyone looking for a high quality mens cut.

Reasonable prices and friendly staff! They offer you a choice of complimentary beer, one of which is brewed specifically for Arrow. Would recommend going at a time when you can take advantage of that. Nice atmosphere and quickly became my go-to spot after moving to the area.

Arrow has everything you could ask for in a college town barbershop! Its got convenience, free beer, reasonable prices, friendly staff and 🔥 cuts. Angelica is the BEST, always does me right and I feel truly taken care for every time!! 💯 She asks plenty of questions to ensure you get the exact cut that you are looking for. Also the fact that you can make appointments instead of waiting for first come first serve like at other barbershops or have to go to some salon is a huge plus.

My boyfriend gets his hair cut here. Its great service (much better than your typical Supercuts or cheap salon) and they never cut it too short. I also had my haircut here when it was about shoulder length. It was a good cut, so if youre looking for zero frills and something really simple then they can help with that too. If you need extensive layers or any thinning then I would recommend finding a full service salon.We see kids here all the time, its a very family friendly spot.

Great haircuts friendly barbers

Went there for a straight razor shave, priced at $25. For such a service, one can reasonably expect a shave that feels even and smooth. I came out with uneven patches of smooth complete shave mixed with rough stubbles going with and against the grain. I had to go home and actually do a once over on my upper lip area. My sideburns were also not squared off evenly.For a supposedly higher quality straight razor shave, it was worse than using a razor blade at home. Very disappointed.

The barbers/stylists are friendly and they take the time to give you a fresh cut. It is more expensive than other barber shops but I am always glad I spent a little extra. Manny, Angelica, and Jess have cut my hair and each has been great.

All of my appointments have started on-time, the staff are friendly, the free beer is nice, and the final result is consistently one of the best haircuts Ive ever gotten. Highly recommend Angelica if youre looking for a super tight, well-blended fade.

Got a basic cut with stuff with Steve and it was awesome! Not only did I get a great cut but I also got other hair advice. This is a fantastic space and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Stacey cut my hair great multiple times! She is a groovy gal with a great taste in Hogwarts houses who always makes me feel welcome and stylish.

I have had terrible haircuts my entire life. Its nobodys fault in particular, but my hair is just naturally very coarse, poofy, and calicky. Somehow, Angelica worked wonders and gave me a haircut that looked good (not just acceptable) at a very competitive price. The service was also very thorough (lots of questions about detail, close neck shave and aftershave), not to mention lots of good advice for daily routine. I just got to Chapel Hill for my freshman year, and I plan on going to Angelica at Arrow for the next four years.

Great vibe there with great quality haircuts at a good price. The free beer is a huge plus and the staff are friendly.

Great modern cuts, attentive and capable staff, and I dont mind the free beer. Slightly more expensive than a basic cut but far cheaper than salon.

Had a very underwhelming experience here. Receptionist was very friendly, but upon being called back by the stylist for my haircut, the stylist immediately showed a passive aggressive attitude about the length of my hair (~6 at the time before the cut). Whether the stylist was tired from a long day or just flat out thought I was a dirty hippie, I do not know. The stylist continued to belittle me during the cut about the uncommon length of my hair and seemed disgruntled to be working with me. On top of all of this, I came in for my appointment that I had booked online days earlier and the receptionist didnt have my appointment in their system so they offered to comp my cut and reschedule me for a couple days later. I was okay with this of course, and today when I came back I expected to get the full service (a beer, the shampoo that I originally booked with the cut, and a pleasant stylist). The stylist actually asked if I would be okay with skipping the shampoo because they didnt have time. Was also never offered the beer that patrons are supposed to be given. Wont be back unless they start hiring employees that can comprehend the *mind-blowing* sight of a man with hair longer than a Great Clips haircut :)
