Steve is the carrier for my neighbor along with several other homes. I don’t think this community fully appreciates the dedication he has given Chandler for over 30 years. I am so fortunate to have a caring, and compassionate carrier delivering to my home. The hard work and sacrifices he’s made to help us goes beyond saying that we haven’t given enough thank you’s to all of you at Chandlers USPS.

I cannot believe the unethical behavior, and unprofessionalism of all this people. I don’t have time to go into details, but just a little reminder…. Have a little patient, and be nice to the people that pay your paycheck! If you don’t like your job, quit! I’m sure somebody else will be grateful to do the job right for you!

Just moved to the area and had to set up a PO box temporarily. I was in a very unusual situation with housing. When I explained it and my needs for the box, Susan (at the counter) patiently listened to the details and provided a few recommendations (including one to use a smaller, cheaper box) and helped me set everything up.Very kind, professional, and courteous service! The lines were being handled quickly so even when I had to leave and come back later, I didnt have almost any wait.The location was spacious, clean, had plenty of easy parking, was easy to get to, and had pretty much all their normal shipping supplies in stock.Im puzzled by the number of 1-star reviews that seem to all hinge on one thing like a mistaken delivery (Ive lived in 5 or 6 different states and thats always happened a few times - its not a big deal) or some minor inconvenience. Whatever. This is 5 stars until someone does something that truly deserves for a star to be knocked off.

My package was supposedly delivered. When I checked mailbox - nothing! So I am assuming it was delivered to wrong mailbox. When I tried calling them I got an automated call and they never hooked me up to a human. They are nothing but a nut-job

It took extra long to deliver my package; then, they left a pickup slip on Christmas Eve; so, they missed Christmas & I had to pickup the day after Christmas. And the lady upfront said she couldnt leave the front desk unattended so she called someone to help. She had me to stand to the side; then she had me to move. After a worker came making it two people upfront, she still didnt help me. She lied. Then a third worker came & helped me. But, this is the same lady when I came to pick-up a different late arrival package that week said to me that she HATED going to the back to get packages because it was a MESS!!!

The attendant Frank DeAngelo told my spouse that she can not pick up the mail even though I signed saying she can pick it up. I came in and asked why he didn’t let her pick up the mail and he said, “I didn’t see that you signed for her”. I then showed him what I wrote on the note.I asked him why he didn’t check the online option, that states who can pick it up and he said, “we don’t have access to see that”, and wasn’t sure what I was talking about. Frank was not nice to me or my spouse during this process and did not try and help get the issue resolved.USPS needs to do training for this team member on how to be nice to customers also how to check online option to see if someone gives someone the ability to pick up their packages

I frequently am shipping items for online orders for eBay through this post office and they’ve never given me any problems. All of the staff are friendly and I believe many of the negative reviews here are just impatient and entitled individuals because of my dozens of visits within the past 7-8 months I have not had a single issue. Keep up the great work, you guys do not deserve the number of poor reviews you’ve received because most people only write these when they’re angry. I’m glad I can always count on this location!

This is the worst place I’ve ever had to deal with. I was told to pay for a mail key ($40)and that it would take no less than two weeks to get it and they would put my mail on hold. I called two weeks and they have no idea where my key is, just said sorry mam and that they will resubmit it (AGAIN!) just went in to get my mail and they still don’t know where my mail key is ( now going past week 3) and same response I’m sorry mam. I resubmitted it again. HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A KEY!!!!! The lady at the desk just said well I don’t know what to tell you, the key guy doesn’t work today and that’s it. And people wonder why they don’t want to deal with the postal service and there lack of customer service and care

This location is not my official post office or the closest one to me. But it is my favorite because the people are friendly and professional. They are also patient. I have overheard a worker patiently respond to a customer who asked the same question over and over. They are the best.

Its nice to know USPS mailmen are nice enough to use the mail lockers specifically set aside for delivery drivers of other mail carriers, because theyre too lazy to unlock their own lockers for oversized packages. I guess this in some ways shows why USPS is on the decline. We salute your lack of values and indifference to anyone but yourselves. Your a true standard of modern America

A few days ago a certified letter was delivered by the mail carrier to my door. He rang the bell and was holding an envelope. . I motioned trough the window to put it down. No he said, you need to sign.I secured my mask, which I wore even before it was mandatory.Tha male mail carrier did not wore a mask.I asked him to place envelope on the small table and step away, step back. He compliedSo I signed and put it down and told him that he should wear a mask! Oh, I haveit in the car,, he replies. Had two packages delivered to me that were not mine, but on my street. I delivered them myself. A package valued at $350 showed delivered to me but was not. Im sure someone else got it. The mail carrier for 85286 does a very poor job. No attention to detail. Complained the office, they didnt care all all. Im out the $350.

You guys are awful. Your customer service is also awful. You guys deliver packages yet dont make any way to contact us if you have no access. You also only make one attempt at delivery and then hold the package? What if we cant make it to your store and thats the reason we ordered it for delivery not to pick up in person? How can your customer service also get back to me and tell me that basically Im screwed because you guys wont make reattempts and that it will always be this way from now on? You guys are absolutely the worst and I dont see how you can be in business. Amazon and UPS have way better services and its terrible that USPS is forced onto us for certain items.

Its time to give these people credit the new active hard worker supervisor who, talks everyone to see how she can help them. Sent three packages back in one day because they probably didnt read the sign on the mailroom door leaving a code to get inside.My address is not undeliverable. Ive been receiving things for months. Whoever delivers mail on Saturdays and was in Chandler at 1:05 is incompetent.Such an inconvenience when it could have taken an extra 20 seconds of effort to never have to deal with me again.Seek better staff.

Last night, someones license plate got delivered to me. The person in question lives four miles away at a completely different set of cross-streets. I just dropped it off for them since the post office couldnt be bothered to get this right the first time, but oh, Im sure they took credit for marking it as DELIVERED. If I screwed up at my job like this, Id be out on my can!

Nice, newer and doors open automatically. Seemed like a very nice USPS but I went after hours. Had all the usual boxes and receptacles. The door opening automatically made me feel like I was classy and would be nice if carrying in packages. I have not seen that at other locations. Rental mailboxes inside and small gift shop with normal USPS stuff.

Mails are delivered to wrong address all the time. I even received tax and some important information of other people. My passport and my ID were delivered to other house even my address was correct on the envelops. I think that the Manager need to manage your people seriously to ask them work more careful and responsible for your delivery job. This is very important.

Well, I hate being the one that follows in line with others giving bad reviews but my goodness. This was AWFUL. I went there a few weeks ago to establish my new business address with the post office, walked in with all required documentation and requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor looked like he was either high or extremely hung over and truly didnt care what I had to say. He took all my information and stated that he was going to get everything taken care of and come 2 weeks later.. and that hasnt happened. Careless supervisors are not good for leading a business. I would recommend NOT going to this post office and just take the time to call the 800 #. They will provide you with a confirmation numbers and everything else to make sure the local offices are being held accountable.EDIT: 2/25/2019One of the supervisors, Larry, was incredibly rude and even had at audacity to say he would even would even have me call a fifth to get my mail situation resolved. I will be filing an official complaint through USPS.

I had been noticed by the new residents at my old address that I had a letter than needed to be picked up, I went in with my ID to see if I could pick it up I believe it was a manager that helped me but she wasn’t able to find anything said I could come back with a tracking number for them to double check. Well by the time I was able to pick up the notice it was 1:35pm I ran in and the same lady recognized me and let me in and they were able to locate the letter so happy they were able to let me in after hours since it was a final notice.

Easily one of the worst post offices Ive ever been to. They habitually cannot find pickups, the managers dont show up until after 11am apparently, the systems are down, etc. They always have some kind of problem here. Always.

I don’t like to write bad reviews but when the experience is so bad I have to. I had to send some documents to my health insurance which was not on priority.Upon reaching the post office around 3:30pm it was nearly empty. I checked with one of the guys for a mail saver because I didn’t want to spend on something which was not so important. He suggested I use their mail envelope and send it through least priority and the whole thing would cost about $3. By the time I sealed the documents the man left so I was attended by Juan.He said the least mail I have to choose is $4.5 and I could clearly see on the screen that there was an option of $1.5 I knew he was cheating me but I didn’t say anything (which now I repent). So, the whole thing costed me $6.5 Whereas the other guy quoted $3. It’s not about the money here but the honesty, misleading details and lie.He did try to sell me insurance coverage and stamps too which I politely said no to.This has been haunting me all evening that he tried to cheat me which is not right. I hope this review helps other customers to be cautious and careful.

I want to thank Kelly for her efforts in locating a package that was undeliverable because it had been sent to an old address. This was a birthday present and could not be replaced since the item is no longer available. Kelly was able to determine the whereabouts of my package and even called twice to keep me apprised, which I greatly appreciated and was more than I expected. I realize that people have complaints about the USPS and think that FedEx and UPS offer better options, but I can’t agree because I have had abysmal customer service experiences with these private carriers as well. It really is about the individual and whether they take pride in their work. Obviously, Kelly does, as well as a gentleman named Jerome who originally answered my call and made certain that I got connected to Kelly for assistance.

I usually return my packages through ups. I just bring them my paperwork, box, etc and they handle everything. I brought my box almost ready to go and explained that I wasnt sure if there was a certain spot the shipping label was supposed to be. They made me buy tape and tape it myself 🙄 just because its a government job doesnt mean you cant offer a little customer service. Its not like it was busy

Im not asking much, just delivery OUR MAIL!!!!!! Put the RIGHT mail in the RIGHT mail box!!! Just do your job right!! Ive never in my life lived in an area that mailman CONSTANTLY loses our mail. We order a water filter on Amazon that was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday, and today is Friday, we still havent received it. The reason they give us is INCORRECT ADDRESS. Are you kidding me??? We have to have the water filter before our granite counter top to be put in tomorrow. Now Im crossing my fingers and hoping for the THIRD time that the mailman knows how to find our house with a correct address. I wish theres a no star option because thats how bad they do their job. Its like they just dont care if you get your mail or not.

Horrible customer service I put my mail on hold and recieved the confirmation email and went to pick up my mail hold and was told that the post lady or who ever was in the back had been still delivering the mail to the box o just moved here so I didnt have a change of address so this was impossible to even do she told me she couldnt do anything about it and slammed the door in my face literally I felt like I was treated badly because I am black and young If I was older and maybe a Different race she would of been more helpful a horrible experience

I used to dread going to this Post Office location and would drive all the way over to the Sun Lakes Post Office (Ace Hardware). Now, all new staff - most windows are open, lines are short, service has improved greatly. Normally there is a manned Kiosk for priority mailing using a credit card. Wow! Now this location is my favorite!

Have to agree with the other very negative reviews and wish someone would read these and actually do something because this isnt a privately held company, this is a government run company and people rely on their mail especially now during tax season. I filled out the forwarding address form and they lost all my mail. Have no idea where any of it is but its not going to the old address, its not going to the new address and I never even received notification that they got the mail forwarding card which is what usually happens. They probably just throw the mail away. This is abhorrent behavior by the unprofessional staff. This post office needs to be shut down.

This is one of the worst places I have ever been to. I was told by my pharmacy, on 11/5/2016, that my husbands prescription was delivered at my front door on Oct. 31st. We did not receive it. We went to the PO, they could not help us. Got a call back from the pharmacy and was given a tracking number and was told, that they were told that it was delivered to the wrong address. So we head back to the PO and the supervisor spoke to us after a 15 minute wait. I have never dealt with such an ignorant, arrogant, person (and I use that term lightly). The prescription was sent to a wrong address, in a mailbox that has a drop in it and a lock on the box. The supervisor knew this the day before and we had to go out of our way to find out what they were going to do about it. They acted it like it was just a pack of gum that they lost, not my husbands life on the line~ If we ever have to mail a package i will not use this office.NO WONDER THE POST OFFICE IS LOSING MONEY~YOU HAVE EMPLOYEES THAT DONT GIVE A DAMN! I HAVE TO GIVE THEM ONE STAR IF I WANT THIS POSTED~I THINK THEY RATED A BIG FAT ZERO!

I got a notice on my office door on September 21 that I had a certified letter, the notice was dated September 14, took a week to walk to the door? Went to the post office, they could not find it. The postal worker routinely distributes mail to the wrong boxes which is a huge issue when a lot of our businesses deal in finance and rent collection. I had a $26,000 check put in the box on the opposite side of the complex so clearly intentional. If you hate your job do something else! Postmaster refuses to speak to us, maybe the Postmaster General can intercede and generate some “care about your job” attitude or fire the whole lot and start over, can’t get worse.

Been in the place hundreds of times. They are great. Never any problems. Sure the lines are long sometimes, but hey, their busy. For the volume of mail they handle I give them 5 stars. Some people will complain about the least of inconvenience the have. Get real people nobody is perfect. I think the U.S. States Postal Service does a spectacular job.

Mail and packages delivered to wrong address on a regular basis. Called numerous times to make them aware of issue. Went into the station because 2 packages showed delivered, but not at my door or in cluster mailbox. still dont know where they are and have wasted hours trying to locate them. I brought a box in, asking for the cheapest cost shipping. The guy behind the counter says, tape it shut and write the address on it. I asked him where the tape was and he points to the $3.49 rolls of tape. Ive shipped hundreds of items using USPS and this was the first time somebody tried to nickel and dime me for a strand of tape. I abruptly walked out and took my package to the UPS store down the street. Will never go back. Ever.

Not sure where it took place between Arizona post office and the delivery to Michigan but sad some kids won’t get their books! I also agree with most of the comments on here about them being rude! This post office cannot do anything right. What is the purpose of scheduling a delivery if you do not follow through? I received notice that I had a package that needed to be signed for. I went online to request the package be left at my door. I left the notice taped to the front door. The package was not delivered, or even attempted to be delivered. I have had multiple issues with this location. Their delivery people cannot seem to get the right mail in the right box, and the management at this location makes no apologies for their horrible service. I guess anyone can pass the test now days. What a worthless organization.

I had a PO Box at this branch. I paid my yearly fee and they lost the check and I lost my PO Box. They tried to make it up by giving me another PO Box but I still had to reprint all my envelopes, business cards and stationary. Use a private Mail Store if you want to have better service.

ABSOLUTE worst service Ive EVER had! I get other peoples mail and they get mine! What is happening to customer service these days?!?! They dont even take responsibility for their mistakes. Computer says they have 2 packages on the truck for me today. I received one but not the other and today is Friday so theres nothing I can do but stew until Monday. I guess I wont be ordering anything on the internet until after the holidays or Ill be paying for things I dont receive. Thats the Government for ya! They cant be fired so they have a free pass.

The WORST, CANDICE has no customer service whats so ever, please change your attitude or dont even work at the Post office lady!! I called asking about a shipment that was never delivered. They told me they did not have my package. My package was at the Post office on Colorado st in Chandler. I asked Candice if she can kindly transfer me, she said she would not, i would have to find the number on there website, i asked why she could not give the number (IM PRETTY SURE THEY HAVE IT) and she said she had NO time and repeated to look it up my self. I completely understand if they are busy. But please next time be more polite!

I just moved to AZ And I thought my home state USPS was pretty unorganized but God this place.... I literally cant get my pavkpac that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. Treated rudely when filing a claim for a damaged AND insured item. Blaming the packaging and pointing fingers. The Postal Worker treated me like I was a criminal trying to file a fraudulant claim. He was so rude that even a fellow worker apologized for him. Several customers approached me after viewing his behavior to comment on how rude he was. Now I am scared I will get denied for my claim when it was truly the fault of the USPS for the damage. Box smashed when it was delivered, hence the reason I purchased the insurance! UPDATE: CLAIM DENIED. They look for a reason not to pay rather than helping. Waste of purchasing insurance (which I purchased for this very reason).

Tracking stated delivered to mailbox, package not in mailbox. Claim submitted and a few days later I received a voicemail from this office stating the driver checked the mailbox and the package has been in there but towards the back. Do you think Im a fool? Mail delivery is constantly being screwed up and Im often having to exchange mail with my neighbors. The delivery postman is a LIAR. This USPS office is protecting the LIAR. The supervisor name Scott, he doesn’t really know how to run the store. He said my package was there almost 1 month, and they delivered on 24th. I was at home all day. But I didn’t hear someone rang the door bell. His explan is the GPS show the delivery guy was in the front door my house. I don’t think so he said was true, or it was very difficult for the delivery guy rang the door bell. The package has my name and my phone number on the sheet, if you noticed the package was setting there for a while, why you don’t just call me? I thought during the peak season they probably been busy, last time I checked my status still processing. But this morning when I checked again it’s shipped back to the sender. The supervisor try to avoid all the responsibility, and try to tell me I made this situation happen. Why I didn’t focus on the tracking status? This is the worst i never had it before. If you let you customer did the job for you, why the USPS still keep your job title? Careless, was’t pay attention on the job, and doesn’t know how to handle the customer complaint. I won’t use the USPS sevice anymore!!!!!

My mailperson CONSTANTLY delivers mail to the wrong address. They have lost several of my packages and have yet to make me whole. SO sad and disappointed. I am currently planning my wedding and I am missing my wedding invitations and several articles of clothing because we have to special order my fiancees tall clothes. I feel so helpless in this situation as this woman is still allowed to deliver mail..she has ONE JOB..deliver the mail to its recipients.... I have asked several people at the post office who is responsible for paying me back and everyone dances around the question and tells me they will call me back I have filed several formal complaints and have gotten nowhere...I have no option going forward but to stand outside everyday and WATCH her unload the mail and packages to ensure I get all that belongs to me or ship everything where a signature is required....what a nightmare.... :(

What the heck! Said package of mine was delivered and low and behold...NOT! Where oh where can it be!!! This will be the fourth time I have to go knocking on my neighbors door to see if my package was delivered to their house. So sick of this happening, they have us by the BAlls!! AVOID THIS POST OFFICE BRANCH AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! Tried to have a package delivered on June 26. Inside this was a VERY important document, a healthcare providers license to practice. Because there was some time sensitive applications requiring this document, expedited, 2-day priority shipment was PURCHASED. Im not sure who they have working there but they put a scanned barcode with instructions to send from Chandler back to the senders address in Chandler (uhh, how does that make any sense?) when it was supposed to go to Texas. After days of not receiving the package, some phone calls were made and the post office realized they made this mistake. Many customer service agents gave their 2 cents as to what would happen from this point in order to locate and properly deliver the letter. Every single one of them had their own claim as to what would happen, making me lose trust in who I was speaking with. I, then, had the pleasure of being introduced to the offices supervisor, Candice. She was terribly unprofessional, rude and offered not one bit of help. We were put in contact with a supervisor for many branches and when he heard of the situation, he recommended that we file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding our customer service experience with Ms. Candice. In addition, getting a hold of ANYONE at the post office is a nightmare. You frequently call, are placed on hold for a very lengthy time (I spent 5 hours on my Saturday off!) to be turned to agents that are not able to offer any assistance. Days later, still without a package, I contact this branch, again wait on hold for an hour, am told by Candice they havent seen the trackable package since June 30 and it is probably lost.Taking her lead, I requested a duplicate copy of my license that night (incurred a $32 fee to do this) to find out the next day they had located the package in Texas. I waited on hold to speak with Candice for 45 minutes, asked for a refund on what was paid to have this shipment expedited and reimbursement for my license fees. She quickly snapped at me telling me that only the shipping fees could be refunded but I would have to come in to the store for that to happen and hung up the phone before any more discussion could be had.My time is extremely valuable and spending hours on hold to even speak with someone but then to be treated with a nasty attitude and being hung up on is UNACCEPTABLE! All along this process, they had made serious mistakes and somehow, youre spoken to and treated as if you have done something wrong, not them. There are some serious management issues going on at this place and communication amongst their employees does not exist. When this branch messes up your stuff, which as you can see from the vast array of similar reviews, be prepared to spend hours, days, hell, probably even weeks, trying to fix their issue for them. And also be prepared to receive some of the worst customer service youve ever seen. Yeah, its that bad. Save yourself your time, stress and headaches and go to one of the competent branches in Chandler. After this incident, I looked at others and they have much better online feedback. Trust me--you have been forewarned.

The worst office ever. They have lost several packages in 5 or so years. Some of the workers go above their duty but they cant and shouldnt carry the weight of the others that just dont care.I am pissed because they just threw my iPad on the ground not drop it but threw it hard.My son saw it. So they cant say that it just sounded like he threw it .Why cant they find good workers? Maybe its time to change and allow others to carry our mail instead of the usps.

I ordered a package and payed priority mail 7 dollars extra and i ordered it on the 5th of may. Its now the 14th and I have yet to receive my package. Today I went to the post office to see where my package is and they dropped it off at a different address. They werent a lot of help at the post office and they said they were going to call the place and see where my package is. I now have to wait even longer for a phone call I may never receive. usps has lost several of my packages and they dont give the best service. i would highly recommend using FedEx or any other mail service.

This is the worst post office Ive ever seen. From Robert, Sam, Robin to the postal carrier. They have had my mail LOST for almost two months. There attitude is you cant do any thing about it. A word to the wise avoid any dealings with these folks all thats on there minds is is it 5:00 yet.

Mail is constantly delivered to the wrong mailbox! I was supposed to receive two packages yesterday and we did not have a key in our box. Today they locked our package in the lockbox and they key doesnt work...I called the office to report that the key doesnt work.Okay so the mail lady just dropped off my package that was locked in the box she argued with me that she put a key in our box then and blamed me for losing the key that she did not put in our box yesterday - then she argued with me that the key works well that she put in today and that I was not doing it right. WTF!?!?!?

Prior to leaving on vacation I filed a hold mail order from 9/30/19 - 10/11 19. On the 30th as I was leaving I picked up the mail! While I was gone my neighbor, fortunately, picked up an entire box worth. This is the poorest service imaginable.
