Ive had a hard time finding a good place to get my beard trimmed and shaped. Rae did an excellent job!The shop is very clean and has a very modern look while keeping the classic barber shop feel.

Really like this barber shop. Registering for an appointment is very easy online and then you just walk in at appt time and they start, no waiting. Recommend if you need a hair cut.

Its the best haircut/beard trim Ive ever had. Granted, Im balding badly, but its always excellent.. The beard especially and moustache especially. They have a great selection of products for styling and maintaining your hair/beard/moustache. So for a barbershop, it checks every box. In addition, its got great U of I feel, with an incredible mural in the shop, and other artwork from various friends of the business. A small arcade and a fridge to accommodate all guests. Finally, a television, that usually airs sports. I love everything about this place. A fantastic local business that I cant speak highly enough of.

Zach does a great job with my 4 year old. He likes that he gets treated like a big guy & gets the full experience of a barbershop. Zach asks him where he goes to school, his favorite color, favorite food, etc. He cant wait to go back. I like that I can book through Google or walk in. I was impressed that we came in as a walk-in not even a minute before another customer & Zach still took the time to create the perfect cut. Many places will try to rush cuts on kids. Reasonable pricing, free off street parking, & great atmosphere.

Lelands is the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. If you’re new to Champaign, or looking to cheat on your old barber, this is the place to go. Zach is a wonderful owner and barber with a good head on his shoulders.Every cut is perfect and consistent. Can’t speak highly enough of this place.

Consistent, attentive barbers with a clean, modern, and welcoming environment. Easy to find and parking is readily-available. Ive had good luck with walk-ins, but the proximity of the business to the commercial/residential complexes around Green Street seems to make it a consistently busy establishment -- I would recommend taking an appointment.

I always get my haircut with Jon, he’s the only super high quality consistent barber I found in CU. I’ve had more expensive haircuts at other places but none are as nice or as professional, plus it’s an affordable cut. He’s great at fades and making you look super clean 👌 . 10/10 would recommend

Say I need a haircut and wife says why don’t you go to Leland’s again. I guess they did a pretty good job. Haha. Good guys and good atmosphere. Will be going again one of these days.

This place is clean, well lit, and comfortable. Justin was my barber and he took his time giving me a good haircut. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and already have my next cut scheduled. Make sure you schedule an appointment as they do good business and the barbers stay busy so you will need one.

Dont waste your money at those other discount hair cut places. The folks at Lelands take their time and do a great job. Only 20 bucks for a haircut that includes a straight razor on your neck and a hot towel. I suggest calling ahead to make an appointment.

Slightly more expensive than other places in Champaign ($20), but by far one of the best haircuts I’ve received. Top quality and worth the money

Chaz did a great job cutting my hair today. I also enjoyed the beer they have in a refrigerator in the waiting area! The hot towel was so nice, I couldn’t even tell that he shaved my neck!

We wanted our son to have a tapered or Ivy League haircut and we were told by one barber there that his 5 week old thick and fast growing hair is too short (not) . He gave our son the same razor cut as Walmarts . Very disappointed. While waiting, another kid got a very nice haircut and our son came home with the same easy to cut fade.
