Excellent, very professional service. We had both an upstairs and downstairs A/C and furnace installed. The A/C works fantastically well. (Furnace hasnt been tested.) They were the cheapest among 3 quotes. With Covid19, two-of-three technicians were vaccinated (and third one mostly worked outside). I highly recommend them.

Finding honest and affordable maintenance for commercial kitchens is hard to come by. I use 217 Inc. for everything my business needs including electrical, HVAC, plumbing and equipment repairs. I highly recommend them.

Called in the morning and they were able to fit me in that same day which was greatly appreciated. The technician was very knowledgeable and able to clear the clog in garbage disposal very easily. The technician took the time to explain the issue and ways to resolve issue if this comes again as well as maintenance suggestions. The technician could have charged close to double but did not and only charged for the appearance fee which is greatly appreciated and will bring me coming back to this company. Overall great service from call to actual service. Thank you for not taking advantage of us like other companies do.

I received a tub removal/new tub installation. They arrived on time… discussed things before they were done and completed the job within a great timeframe. A minor issue occurred days after and they responded quickly and took care it! I will call them again if I even need anything plumbing wise done!

Jay replaced my water pipes, unstopped and replaced pipes under my sink, put in new faucets on my tub, sinks, and replaced my shower head. The second time I had him out to install and hook up my ice maker on a new refrigerator. He was very personable, honest, reasonably priced, and his work is very good.,looks and works great. If you are looking for honesty, quality work, and a reasonable price, look no farther !

He was polite, knew what he was doing, and a straight-shooter. He also shared info about their other many services, and that info is tacked to our must keep bulletin board. Yes, we will be contacting 217, Inc., for future needs. Dont hesitate!

These guys were absolutely great. They were booked until next week and it was going to be an after hour service charge to get someone to my house any time sooner. Within minutes of getting off the phone, they called me back and told me they could squeeze me in for the normal service hour price. Within 2 hours of my initial call, they were at my house, problem diagnosed, and the pipes under my house repaired. Doug was the technician and he was on time, very knowledgeable, honest, and explained everything in full detail. You can’t beat their pricing either. Was honestly taken aback by how quick and cost efficient this service was.

When I called I was told it was $80 for the visit and $90 per hour plus parts. When the plumber completed the job, he said he had to bill a minimum of 1 hour, even though the problem (diagnosis + fixing the leak) was addressed in less than 25 minutes after I told the plumber where I thought the water leak was. The plumber was kind enough to drop the charge to 0.5 hours. Not sure why I was mislead. The plumber was professional, courteous and I believe he did a good job. Today (6/15) management informed me their basic charge was $170 + parts for any job less than 1 hour. I have revised this review after reading the owners response. Had I been told the minimum charge for a visit was $170 + parts, I would not have scheduled the visit. I seriously doubt most clients would tell the technician to leave once the $80 visit charge was incurred. I did not put any pressure on the technician other than being shocked at being charged $220 for a 25 minute plumbing job from diagnosis to completion that included replacing a 3 section of copper pipe in my crawl space. The customer is NOT always right, however, having lived around the US, including in the Silicon Valley, CA, I have a rough understanding of the cost of living around the US.

I normally do not like to post reviews, but I received several survey requests from 217 so I will leave some honest and hopefully fair feedback.We had a backed up sewer line that backed up into the house. They were able to work us in the next day which I was thankful for. They thought they cleared the blockage, but a collapsed pipe was suspected but no camera available because it was broken. I was told they would come back when they had a camera. Only when our sewer flooded up in our house again and I called back the following week was I put on the schedule a few days later for the camera inspection. Sites were marked with where the collapsed pipe were located and we were told they would get back to us on the repair. I called a few days later when I had not heard back and was told that the person who did the diagnostic would not be back in until the following week and they would have him give me a call. At this point we’re going on 2 weeks all the while we cannot shower, give baths to our kids, wash our clothes and we’re out $450 without a solution. I called another company that day and they were able to get me scheduled and fixed the problem the next business day. The areas that were thought to be collapsed pipe were actually a gnarl of tree roots and the second area was not collapsed at all, which makes me question the initial assessment. I finally received a call back this week and they said I was first on their list for a leaking pipe under my sink. While that is a separate issue I had inquired about, nobody has called me back yet about fixing my sewer line. There just seems to be a communication failure with scheduling and follow up. I also understand that plumbers all over the area are very busy currently and I have tried to be patient with that, but I was really let down. The 217 plumbers are overworked, understaffed and need a lot more help to meet their current volumes from what I can tell from this experience. Given another time it may have worked out, but I’m sorry to say that 217 has lost my business and those who had referred me. I hope 217 supports their plumbers and gets them the support they need.

Blessings I would like to thank Marcy and Allen at 217 for doing a wonderful job, my Mother lives in Champaign Illinois, and we are stationed in Texas, she had a water pipe break in her Home, so I prayed about it, I was given 217, so I called them and set the appointment, they came out and did an estimate and they were so nice and respectful it is just so wonderful to work with this company and to put my Mother in their hands, the job was completed, my Mother was satisfied which made me tremendously Joyful so I think the Father for sending me to this company. Drew and Richard came and did a quick quality job installing our new system that Jake sold us. They even gave us a upgrade on our system when its wasnt available. Great customer service . Left the areas worked in clean as when they came. Would and will recommend them everytime. Great experience from beginning to end and very affordable.

They came out to light my pilot light on my hot water heater they where very good at explaining what was going on and even wrote it all down for me. The guy was very professional about his job and was on time.

I absolutely recommend 217 Inc. I called on Friday and was able to get service on Monday. The tech was friendly, communicated, and efficient. He had to run to get parts but completed the job within a hour. The price was almost half that of a competitor. I will defintely use 217 Inc again.

Darren came to install my water heater and completed the whole job in under three hours. He was detail-oriented, which was one of the main reasons I went with 217 Inc. No one else who provided an estimate had pointed out a needed upgrade to comply with current codes. He was friendly and courteous and when it took less time than anticipated, the install price was reduced. Would definitely use them again.

Art Binder is awesome. I have used Binders for all plumbing needs since 1992 when we moved here. This goes back several years but I’m getting ready to call them for a repair and was reminded of a great experience. I had a new hot water heater installed in my basement and in the process my banister got a small gouge in it. Art came out with stain and fixed it up just like new. It made me very happy. I detest scratches and dings but it can be expected sometimes when moving heavy items up and down stairs. Art has always been more than fair with me in standing by his company.

Please do yourself a favor and use 217 for any plumbing, HVAC and boiler issues! They have done both large and small jobs for me, and all of their work is outstanding. Their prices are fair and the work is top quality. When the job is finished I always receive a professional written report including before and after pictures. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and professional.

Lucas and these fellas are great! I must say the best experience with any HVAC company in town. My sewer was overflowing and backing up into the house. One call and there were there within 2 hours. The gentleman that serviced the sewer was very professional and courteous. I have had these guys out before for my AC as well and same great experience. I wont use any other company in town!

From start to finish, nothing but courteous, professional, and FAST service. My furnace went out, so I called them up and they had a technician (Jordan) out within a few hours. It turned out that my unit was much older than I thought it was and probably a better idea to replace than repair, so set an appointment for me with Jake in Sales. Jake arrived a little while later, took a look and some measurements, and sent me a quote with several replacement options within an hour or so. By the end of the day, while I still didn’t have heat, I did have a unit on order, and they even offered use of space heaters! Installation guys arrived a few days later, and did an awesome job installing the new furnace and AC unit. I am definitely impressed all the way around and would certainly recommend 217 Inc to anyone.

I used a different Heating/Air company for the past 10 years and no one could figure out why I kept having a recurrent problem with the humidifier on my furnace (it caused my furnace to stop working once or twice every year.) Jordan came out on a weekend call and fixed it temporarily, then when he came back the second time, he figured out what was wrong with it - something no one else from the other company could do! I originally called 217inc to clean my dryer vent. In the process of trying to do so, they discovered that the dryer was not venting outside. This meant that the pipe was either broken or clogged. They investigated and replaced broken flexible pipe with rigid pipe, which was up to code. In the time that they were in my home, Jordan and Patrick were very professional and efficient. They made sure to clean-up after the job was completed. The final cost was below the estimate, and pricing was fair. I would highly recommend 217inc, especially because they are able to do a wide variety of services.

Had a faucet installed that I had purchased, and a leaky shut off valve repaired cost $300. Will never call them back and I will not recommend

I have always used 217, Inc. and been pleased with their service. I trust them and would not want to trust my home to anyone else. I recently had my furnace repaired and it was very stressful with not knowing what to do in terms of my home needs. Cameron calmed me down and assured me it would be okay. Even the owner explained things for me...yes, I was having a moment. So, Im grateful for their honesty, professionalism, respect, and willingness to understand a girl in distress. We had an outside faucet that was leaking/freezing up, they were here the next morning. Very prompt, courteous. He had to cut into the drywall in the basement ceiling. No mess and left it perfect for a patch. Replaced the faucet, put in a shutoff. Very professional, I would absolutely use them again!

217, Inc was on time, available for phone conversations to help me decide which type of water heater to buy. The water heater broke down during the Polar Vortex so I was appreciative of how quickly they responded. They were affordable and efficient. The one thing that wasnt great is that the heater doesnt quite fit into the closet space I have for it, so I will have to put a vent in the door to make sure there is enough updraft for the pilot light.

Had a piece of jewelry fall down a heating vent. Called 217 and they had someone at our home within 20 minutes. The individual was incredibly nice and helpful, and had the ring retrieved within about 15 minutes, all for a nominal service fee. They are extremely courteous and professional, and went the extra mile to help in a somewhat unusual circumstance.

I will call them for everything! Id even try to convince them to do work that they are not in business to do. Theyre probably great at cooking, cleaning, yard work, light construction, and babysitting. Just sayin.

Only gave 2 stars because they guy that showed up to the house was professional. Had someone come for an HVAC estimate on 4/29. Called on 5/6 to check on the status of the estimate as I had not received any information. Was told that I would have it by the end of the day or the next day at the latest. Called again on 5/13 because I STILL didn’t have an estimate. Straightened out some questions they had, was again told I’d have my estimate by the end of the day or the next day, which is today. They are now closed and I STILL don’t have an estimate. I had called another company as I want more than one estimate. I had an estimate back within the week.

Very terrific to work with even during problems we had with the original countertop. When the new countertop came in was very accommodating and reasonable getting me back on the schedule within days. I would definitely consider 217, INC. again when ready to do more work on my condo unit!

First guy came and said he broke his tool and that he’d be back after he got it fixed. I waited all day as he came in the morning originally. He never came back. He ended up leaving something in my basement open and it flooded my basement a bit which ruined some stuffed animals and toys I had stored for my son.I called them back and had them send out a new guy who implied I was lying about what the other guy said because he was told he finished it and that he never broke his tool.They got my kitchen drain unclogged a few weeks ago and now it’s clogged again. Both people who came were not very professional in the end. Do not use this service...I should’ve listened to people telling me not too. Lesson learned.

The team at 217, Inc. are awesome. I had a mini split system installed for a client today, and they knocked it out. Showed up on time, introduced themselves, wore shoe protectors, and had face masks on when the entered the home. The installation was done in a timely manner, and Drew explained how the system worked before leaving. Patrick is an excellent service staff member He installed the HVAC and has maintained the equipment since installation. During the pandemic, he is following CDC guidelines for safety. One concern is that the cost for HVAC maintenance increased 50% and does not include the furnace filter for the high efficiency furnace that was instaled.

I had these guys install a sliding interior barn door for my bathroom home for the price they not only took away the old doors I did a great job finishing out the trim they also included in my prize hanging a ceiling fixture an extra pecial gift was these guys actually helpd a stranger load a washer and dryer i donated that was going to a family who her current status was washing clothes out of her bathtub. They didnt know this and when i asked them to add it to my bill for the labor they wouldnt and did it for free. a company with heart?? Who would have thought that existed. Had them come out and look at my crawl space twice, first time they came to give me a estimate, told me they would have it that day. Waited 2 weeks and never heard anything back. Called, waited another 7 days before I got estimate finally. Waited till I was ready to do work. Had to get a second estimate (which is fine). Told me again they would have it that day. That was almost a month ago,still have yet to get anything. If they don’t want my business I don’t want there’s!

We hired 217 to replace our 40 year old water heater. I got other professional quotes from competitors offering the same brand that were almost as affordable, but only 217 wrote into their contract that they would not install another atmospheric vent type unless we inspected some suspicious chimney connections. As it turns out, the chimney was NOT connected properly, and was dangerously allowing carbon monoxide to leak into our first floor living room via our fireplace! They did a clean and fast install of a high efficiency power vent unit, and removed an enormously heavy unused water softener and re-plumbed those connections for a great price. In the process of getting it out of the house, that 300 lb water softener crunched our front door threshold (in spite of the workmans best efforts), and they were quick to acknowledge and make things right! They were honest, competent and affordable, and I highly recommend them!
