They did this without being pushy and instead sent a quick estimate for the work so that I could decide another day. Replaced tires and performed wheel alignment at a very reasonable cost . Very professional people, on the phone and in-person. The tires on my car were replaced yesterday so i have to wait an see how they hold before I move all my repair work to this shop. However, i am concerned about some of the negative reviews left by other customers.

Probably the worst car customer service I have experienced in my 40 years of life! First off, they tried to push me off to the competition next door without hearing about my issue. Then they. Just flat out said they cant help me! I was in a walking boot and not one time did they offer any assistance. No bueno!!

I left my car at 11 am and they told me there are only 5 cars on the line. At 3 pm shop manager ray wiest is calling me about leaving the car for overnight. he assume can solve everything with apologizing.dont recommend anyone. already wasted 4 hours.still not sure if they do inspection and oil change until 5 pm. super unprofessional staff and management.

This crew was great! They were able to get us in right after opening when we rolled up with a tire that was loosing pressure fast thanks to debris on 66. The tire wasn’t salvageable so they put on our full size tire and sent us on our way free of charge.

I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back. They did my state inspection in under 20 minutes and the cost was very reasonable. (Keep in mind wait times vary- I came at 11am on a Thursday and there was no one in front of me). They were professional and provided excellent customer service.

I asked for tire service and they put the new tires on my car. The manager took the old tires and profited on them by selling to another entity. Usually a tire and auto service company will bag them and properly place them back into your car. I asked why he did not ask me and he said you did not mention it to us. The tires were $1,200 for winter season only so of course there was still a lot of tread on them. He responded by saying, we threw them away because thats what we are suppose to do, you did not want them. AND HE KEPT REPEATING HIMSELF. How do you assume what I wanted. I asked for my tires back or a discount and he said sorry I cant do anything. Covid really has them hungry for money, their cheap and I would not go their again.

Be wary if you plan to bring in a more difficult vehicle to work on or models older than 10 years old. Let my story be a warning if yours fits these categories.I had a 1999 Honda Accord and a 2010 Chrysler Sebring in for repairs here. The Accord had actually passed the more rigorous Maryland inspection with flying colors 6 moths prior to the test here but somehow failed this one because of a right front bearing having too much play. A $300 fix later and its fine. A year later I bring in the Sebring before the inspection expires and it ends up having the same issue in the same position and it also failed for having LED headlights. So I let them fix the bearing and chose to come back later for the lights. They didnt fail me for it and leave the sticker on since it is still valid. No charge for the test.A few months later the check engine light comes on and I decide to let them diagnose it, fix the lights, do the inspection, and an oil change to get it all done in one go. Wrong move. When I go in to pick up, they tell me theres a lot of issues. The rear mount bushing is torn, the catalytic converter was bad, that they didnt fix the lights, but did do the oil change and the inspection. It failed and I was still charged.They told me the electrical system was entirely messed up and to fully replace the it was going to be $3k+. They didnt give me a price for the rest. You want know their actual solution? Take it back to whoever sold it to you and back out of the deal. Or even better, you should look into a new car because this one is just going to sink money the longer you have it. Astounding really.The mechanic was Juan and the person at the counter I think was Luis.So I work with my friend and fix the issues on our own. LED lights? They were only connected with extensions and easily disconnected. Rear mount bushing? Had to get repaired by a mechanic but I took it elsewhere. Catalytic converter? Turns out it was just dirty. Soaking it over night in dish soap did the trick. Oil change? They used the cheapest stuff and actually dented the can somehow when they installed it. I dont get how that was worth charging $40. Inspection? Just paid for a full test elsewhere and passed it.Here are a couple interesting details. Virginia DOES permit CLEAR LED headlights. Catalytic converter only deals with EMISSIONS which are NOT part of the state inspection but rather the EMISSIONS test.And now the kicker. They appear to have attempted to check to see if they could fix the lights but put BOTH high beams in backwards, thus rendering them inoperable.They also left the cap for the jumper connections disconnected and hanging. Turns out, my rear mount bushing in the engine is very difficult to reach to even find this issue yet I actually had an oil leak which was not mentioned at all; there was clearly fluid all around that area under the hood. And, even though they said the catalytic converter was a reason for failing their inspection, they didnt include it on their printed report. Oh, and my friend actually replaced it just the year prior. This is not a part that fails that fast.Maybe it was a series of small mistakes, right? I talked to the Luis over the phone and confirmed the catalytic converter not being on the report was actually a mistake but they stuck to their story and claimed the electrical system was far too messed up to be fixed easily.There was a follow up email from them with a contact number and said to reach them if it was anything less than 5 star service. I did so and the owner, Gary Malm, was happy I got my car fixed regardless and said they only abide by the rules. When I brought up the numerous issues with the service, no reply. I gave them months to make any amends but no response since.My friend on the other hand has brought in much newer vehicles and theyve been fine to him so my only guess is they do not actually try when it comes to older or more difficult vehicles. I will not be back for any more repairs and I encourage you to be cautious if you choose to get work done here.

I needed a lightbulb replaced to pass inspection. They told me the mechanic would have to take it apart a bit to get to the light bulb. I paid about 100$ for this service. I’ve watched multiple videos on YouTube and looked at the car and realized it should have only taken 5 minutes. It’s an easy task. They absolutely took advantage of me. Shady business

I went here to get a state inspection. They failed my car and said that a light didnt work and it would be $150 to fix. I brought my mini to the dealership and they told me those lights dont even turn on, theyre just for aesthetic. So all in all I spent two hours there, didnt pass, and paid to be failed for no reason.

One time they did a tire rotation and failed to properly tighten all the bolts. The tire nearly came off on the highway. Another time they tried to convince me to let them install a new ENGINE in my Outback for $5000. That car was worth 1K, I sold it. Avoid at all costs.

ECCC is the most professional and diligent auto service in Fairfax County. I went in for an inspection and learned my vehicle had several issues. I have been taking my car to a different mechanic for a while and decided I needed a change and I no longer liked where I was going. I took my car to Centreville tire and auto for an oil change and safety inspection. Everyone was extremely professional. When I brought my car in, the front desk guy got my details, told me prices and estimated my car would be ready in about 3 hours. My car was ready in less than 2 hours! The check out guy (really nice Asian man) was great. He gave me the invoice, noted repairs that they thought my car needed and told me to let them know if I would like them done-but he did not pressure me into anything which I liked. Prices were fair and comparable to others I’ve been too. I paid and he opened the door for me on my way out because I had my baby in the stroller. It was a small thing but It was so thoughtful and went a long way. I would definitely recommend this place for all your car care needs!

This place is always welcoming and has great staff, especially Mike. I’m not much of a car person, but they help me out with anything I need and they’re willing to answer questions. The quality of their work is also good. I’ve been here a few times and have always been satisfied with the work afterwards.

I used to trust and like this company. And they seemed professional and courteous. I brought my CRV for state inspection and they called me that they will have to replace my wiper blades. I chose the cheaper one. But just two months later the wiper blades do not clear all the rain water. I sent a video to Mr. Gary Malm. I told him that I checked my records and it was just last Summer that I bought a $40 wiper blades at AutoZone. Then looking at all my records, it showed consistency. Everytime I bring my car for services, something terrible happens.. 1. They broke the lug nuts to change my tire and now have to be fixed... 2. They changed my muffler but the Engine failure symbol popped up when I got my car back. It turned out that my oxidizer broke. 3. Wiper blades defective even though I bought a new one like 6 months ago. Hope their business rhe best of luck.

Took my car in for an inspection and they claimed my exhaust was leaking. When I asked exactly what was wrong with it, the guy stammered around and couldnt really give me a good reason. My car didnt have a light come on for any issues, nor did my car sound weird. They quoted me for repairs totaling over $1200, but I went to a second mechanic and lo and behold, they didnt find any issues.I suppose I should commend the place for not breaking anything in my car, but I dont like it when businesses think they can pull a fast one on me

Staff cordial, facilities clean. Took a car for an inspection and had something else looked at. They determined the dust boot was causing squeaking so they lubed it. It wasnt on my writeup, but they also said they cleaned it. $60 (+ $20 inspection) seemed steep, but I dont know cars, so maybe $60 is perfectly reasonable. Pleasant experience overall. As you wait, theres other shops to visit.

Sung treated me very fairly and told me that although I had brought the vehicle in for a brake job, there was no need to do one now and I should wait longer to save money bc there was a lot of life left in the pads. I had no way of knowing myself that this was the case and would’ve paid for the repair if it were not for his honesty. They’ve got my business as long as I’m living in the area.

Way overpriced. We have 2004 Honda Pilot that needed a alternator replacement and they quoted us close to $700. Now, I understand you have to pay a premium sometimes for using a repair shop vs doing the work yourself but dont put be over a barrel. I went and picked up our car and paid them the $60 diagnostic fee and said no thanks. Two other reputable shops in Centreville, VA quoted me half that price.. out the door. Ended up going with Virginia Tire and Auto on Lee Hwy. Do your homework and check around first. Way overpriced. I get it, times are tough with COVID but dont take advantage of people...

I was very disappointed. I brought the car in for rearview mirror reattaching and a flat tire. The mirror was fixed but they would not fix the tire. Instead they tried to sell me tires, and oil change and headlight cleaning. I feel like I cannot trust them. As soon as they get the car, they try and find other ways to take your money. Sorry, I cannot recommend this car center.

Been here twice and impressed with the staff. Had 4 stems rot away from housing car at beach over the years and they were replaced in a few hours for a good price. Had a flat tire and came here for assistance since its close to my house. My car is a 2020 with brand new tires, the puncture was in the center so all I needed was a patch. They said they couldnt repair it, but they will replace it. I left the store and went down the street to va tire and auto. They repaired in 20 minutes. Either I was lied to or they dont know what they were doing.

The staff at Centreville Tire & Auto have always treated me well over these past 20+ years. My most recent service was for their FREE State Inspection. The inspection exposed an issue with the front suspension that needed to be repaired in order to pass inspection. The repairs were quoted and approved. I was given a lift home and once the repairs were completed, I was picked up and returned to the store to pick up my car. During the ride, I was able to chat about the service with the driver to learn a bit more about the service that was completed that day. I trust the team at Centreville Tire & Auto. They have never steered me wrong and treated me fairly.

I called ahead to ask if they would be willing to look at a tire of mine and plug it. It has a slow leak developed over the last week. The guy on the phone was nice and said to come on in. I walked in and someone else rudely corrected me a couple times. “You mean tire repair”. Because you work in a car shop doesn’t mean you are a genius and can be condescending to folks. Luckily I could care less.So They wont check just one tire. They want $30 to look at em all. Sorry but I’m not paying that. If you are willing fine but many shops do a single tireand charge a low fee for a plug. A little transparency on the phone would’ve been nice. And an overall not correcting customers approach.

I chose this place to get my inspections/ emissions done after being referred to it by family friends and was pleased with the service. Because of my tight schedule, the inspector offered to stay after hours to get the job done. Fortunately, I was able to get there during regular hours to avoid this issue! They are also in a very convenient location if you are looking for a quick drop off/ pick-up spot. There is plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance to kill some time. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

I have been taking my Mercedes and Mazda car and SUV for servicing with them. They are very courteous and efficient in service. Recently in my both vehicles TPMS warning lights came up. I took to them and they promptly offered their services to check tire pressure and fill up the pressure due to drop in winter temperature. The issue was resolved immediately giving us peace of mind . My experience with Centreville Tire & Auto - Elite Car Care Centers was excellent. My cars rear tire was losing air pressure because of having a nail on it. My wife recommended me to go over there as she takes her Toyota Prius to them for the servicing need. I was little skeptical to take my car over there, because I usually take my Toyota Highlander to the dealership. Anyway, I decided to take my car to them, and I was very amazed with their professional service. The front desk guy was super professional, welcoming and polite. They gave me the price upfront ($29.97) to fix the tire, and as a courtesy they did 21 points inspection (trip check) completely free.
