I just have to write a review about Ziehler Lawn Care. We have been a customer of theirs since 2018. We had tried three other Lawn Care services previously and was truly disappointed by their services. Since we have been with Ziehler - we have been very pleased with the results! While other companies left us with more weeds and crabgrass than what we started with, Ziehler came in and took care of the problem! Three years later, we have a beautiful and healthy lawn that draws compliments from strangers and neighbors alike! Their technicians are very courteous and knowledgeable, and will answer any questions you have! We would highly recommend Ziehler Lawn Care to anyone who is looking for a lawn service that treat their customers like family and actually achieve results! We say that the our money is well spent with them. Try them for your lawn care needs.....you wont be disappointed!

We are starting our third year with Ziehler and our lawn looks awesome! I chose them, because i could easily pick out the Ziehler lawns from other companies in the neighborhood. They are all greener, thicker and weed-free. A little extra money is well worth it! It never looked like this when I tried to do it myself.

Great company w/ awesome customer service and knowledgeable technicians. I’ve used them for 2 years. They treat 6x per year and my lawn is thick, green, and free of weeds. I cut my own yard but I leave it to the experts to keep it healthy. To me, totally worth $80 every 2 months to have a healthy looking yard. Also very accommodating if you need to reschedule a treatment.

Sam from Ziehlers lawn care came this morning to aerate the lawn. Sam was incredibly thorough and explained all that he was going to do. He was very mindful of all the Invisable Fence flags. I am beyond impressed with Sam’s service today

We have been using Ziehler for 2yrs. now & Im impressed by how good our lawn looks. It took a while because the formulation is a bit different than our 2 previous lawn care companies. Last year was awful for our lawn, the weeds seemed to have dropped from space. We call Ziehler & had someone come by so we could SHOW them our concerns. We mow & seed our own lawn, but we used Ziehler aeration in the fall & it made a huge difference. I recommend Ziehler to everyone thats looking for a great lawn & great customer service.

I began working with Ziehler Lawn Care recently and have been very impressed so far! All of my neighbors around me have yards full of weeds and the weed control from Ziehler has kept them from encroaching on my yard completely. My yard looks great! We also get insect perimeter spray through them. After the first treatment I noticed some insects continuing to come into my house through one wall. I called Ziehler and they came back just 2 days later to do the full treatment again. Im very pleased with their service and response time!

Our lawn looks great! We thought that wasnt possible for our backyard, due to the inground pool. The fear of chemical contamination was a concern. Ive used Ziehler Lawn for over three years now and they have done a great job. I used to treat my lawn myself and the amount of weeds I had and the overall look of my lawn was terrible. I looked around the neighborhood and found lawns that looked really good and noticed they were being treated by Ziehler so I thought I would give them a try. That was the best thing I could have done. I also take advantage of annual aeration and over seeding which helps the lawn look great every spring.

They do a great job on our yard. We had a cheaper, national company before and our yard was full of dandelions and weeds. After two treatments with Ziehler our yard looked perfect.When I call they are responsive. They are expensive but worth the money.

A couple of years ago I had some stubborn weeds that I couldnt get rid of and patches of my lawn that had simply died. The lawn looks so much better now. There are no patches of dead grass and the weeds are under control. I would recommend using Ziehlers to anyone.

My lawn last year was a disaster! Bare spots, dry spots and so many weeds! I wish I would have taken a before picture to demonstrate the unbelievable transformation! They had to work really hard last year to get the weeds under control, but they kept coming out and retreating. My neighbor across the street who I only know in passing actually walked across the street and asked who was doing my lawn because the difference was so dramatic. Obviously I had them back this year and my lawn is so thick and green and weed free.. It feels like Im walking on plush carpet. Their customer service is heads above any other business today. They always are in touch, either in person after a treatment, or via email to always let me know what was done and what to expect. I wouldnt use anyone else

I moved into a home in December. The lawn was in horrible condition, with crabgrass, dandelions, any many other issues. I signed onto the Ziehler Lawn program a little late, and they came out immediately to start our program. Ziehler was so great, they actually came out 3 times to control the dandelions, and I cannot even believe how great my lawn looks as compared to when they first came! The results are outstanding and I would recommend Ziehler to anyone.

After years of attempting to perform treatment on my yard with minimal results I decided to contact Ziehler lawn care. Several of my neighbors in West Chester Ohio have beautiful yards which Influenced my decision. I have been very pleased with the results .

EDITED: Previously I had posted a pretty scathing review, surrounding multiple issues from Ziehlers surrounding service, billing and discussions with the technician that treated our lawn that occurred due to some disorganization and significant breakdown of communication.Since posting the review, Zieglers customer service has reached out to me. Not only has the situation been remedied, but the customer service folks plan to not only address the issue I had, but view it from an organization standpoint.Mistakes and issues will always happen, but I judge based off how they are handled. Given the follow up, I elected to change my review from 1 to 4 stars.Service wise, they were great the majority of the time, and our lawn has been looking better through the season. Outside of the issues that I encountered, I would have placed them at 4 to 5 stars for service alone.Although I wont be using the service for the remainder of the year, knowing how well their customer service can handles issues, I dont think I would hesitate to sign up for them next season.

Ive had exceptional service from Ziehler Lawn Care. We live off a common area in our neighborhood and had a lot of week problems. Since using Ziehler weve not had that issue any longer. Also my lawn is very think and healthy. I highly recommend using this company.

We are currently using this lawn service and upon looking at their reviews and knowing that they were local I thought even though they are much more expensive than other companies we are going to use for our lawn care service. After having them treat our lawn for almost two seasons now, I would have to say that my yard looked better before they arrived. We never had dandelion problems and still dont but we do have a really bad crabgrass problem. They have done I think 5 service calls now, and granted it is now looking better than it did 3 weeks ago (a chunk of the crab grass is dying off), I will soon have very large patches of bareness now that needs to be seeded since there products did not work for almost all of the summer. I know that your lawn is not supposed to be cut short and I probably cut it shorter than any lawn cares recommendation, but today during the service call the man spraying the yard said that I was cutting my lawn to short and needed to have it at least 3 inches tall. While he was standing right there in front of me I got a measuring tape out to prove that the lawn was at least 3 inches tall, and come to find out it was, he then consisted on telling me he has done this a long time and my lawn was too short. I have gone round and round with this company trying to get them to fix my yard and as long as I keep paying for the monthly service they claim their guarantee is to keep trying to kill weeds. There is no guarantee that your yard will look better than before they came because mine sure doesnt.

I’ve been using Ziehler for close to 10 years on 2 different properties. Both had different needs as far as lawn care. They delivered on both. Great local company.

Customer service team was phenomenal and they were true to their promises. They were patient with some payment issues that we had. Our yard saw less weeds after a summer of treatment and was more green with grass by the end.

If there was a way to not give any stars I would. The company put a good face on. AFTER YOU START to use there service you find out it is very poor. Our bed had so many weeds in them, the city came and gave us a Ticket for how the bed were over taken by the weeds. I called in to the company many times, every time I would call they had some reason why there was weds in the beds. I ask them to take it off our bill they had every reason why they would not take it off the bill. After going round and round with them I told to stop service at my home. They would not stop coming out, the crew could not under stand what I was say not one of them could Speak our language. The company find stop cuting the yard when I stop paying back when I told them not to maintain the yard. Since then I have got many bills say I owe them after I had told them not to cut the yard. Now 3 years later Im still going around and around with them over this. They have Put this bill on my credit report. And have try to bully me with Different type of collection agencies call at least 10 or more time a day. When you read other Reviews Im not the only one that has had this problem with this company. Im going to the Better Business Bureau. To get them Involved in this matter.

I am currently employed with Ziehler, and I left my most recent role to join them when I spoke with them and saw their dedication to service, the community, and making lives more enjoyable! I have been here 6 months and I still love every day of helping them to do just that!

They do a great job. They make you aware a head of time theyre coming out. They tell you exactly what they did that day and their pricing is fair. They have also come out for extra weed control when the initial spray didnt catch everything. Its also easy to get ahold of them on the phone.

Disappointed. Hired them to restore a lawn. They slice seeded. I questioned the wisdom of doing this during very hot weather, especially since someone we spoke with in the spring advised against it. A section of the lawn in constant shade did very well, the rest of the lawn not nearly as well. They reseeded (they DO stand behind their work) to no avail. I feel like I wasted $425 plus a huge water bill. They said they will come back in the spring. Doubtful that I would hire them again, as they wont admit they made a mistake.

Joined the Z-TEAM, during fall 2018, and I will not be looking back! Ive tried 3 other lawn care companies, 2 that were big box locals and a national competitor. Lets say theyre not even close! I just got home today and saw they stopped by... I forgot to clean up my kids toys and move the bench from blocking the gate. My tech Chris went above and beyond to get to the back yard and they cleaned my front of debris as well Not to mention straightened my address number holder on my mailbox! ! I mean if thats not service I dont know what is!! But the best part is the yard looks even better than what I mentioned ! ! Love the service guys and gals keep up the awesome work! !

When they arrive the check in to see if were home and if we have any questions. Once the application is applied they ask if we have any questions and follow-up. I would recommend them to anyone! Great company, great technicians who know their business, fast, professional service with AMAZING results. Our lawn was crawling in clover, ivy, crabgrass, and other weeds and the grass itself was ragged and thin. In the course of one year, they have turned that lawn into a showpiece of lush, thick, grass with all of the weeds gone and no grubs! The services we asked for from them included regular visits for weeds (nearly $500) and included a lawn evaluation, plus 6 visits for weed killing, control & prevention, and another visit for grub control. In the fall, we were so happy with the results that we added on a $200+ visit for lawn aeration to get a jump on next spring. Almost signed up for the tree care as well.Their technicians came out, examined & sprayed, gave us a report each time they came, and were very friendly and thorough. Plus, they gave us a 10% discount if we signed up for the same services for 2016. We elected to prepay for all of these, which was the cheapest way to go and least hassle, but it would have been easy in either case. Their wonderful website also includes account monitoring and allows you to set up pay-as-you-go, or monthly payments or lump sums for service, and shows you the cost comparison for each option, too, which I like.Fabulous company - recommended without reservations; we have no plans to use anyone else for our lawn care!!

My lawn looked so bad! I got a coupon in the mail and decided to call Ziehler. Best thing I ever did! After only one application my neighbor came across the street to ask what happened! He said my lawn looked great! And the technician working on the lawn walks the lawn with me and answers all my questions. I had some stubborn weeds and he came back out and re-treated at no charge. Always courteous and professional and they really know all the types of grass and types of weeds and insect infestation. I highly recommend Ziehler!!

We have used Ziehler at two of our houses and will never look for another lawn care provider again. In our old home we went away from Ziehler for about 6 months to try something newer and cheaper, and came crawling back to Ziehler as our lawn looked horrible with the other company. Ziehler in minimal time was able to get our lawn looking great again and to the standard we had grown used to. They have always been responsive, informative and have made our lawn look great (so much so that a few of our neighbors now use them as well).

I thought my yard was just “ok”. I switched back to Green Seasons ran by Joe and my yard has never looked more beautiful. I wasn’t impressed though. Hope this review helps someone searching.

As a customer I have found that I can treat my property for way less money. Most companies use the same products at a far lower price but I wanted to save more so Lowes has what we need. It is hard to reach their office and I always know where my local stores are.

As usual, they do an outstanding job.

Weve used Ziehler Lawn care now for 2 years and have been very pleased with the service we receive from our Ziehler technician Spencer. He is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He has designed a very effective customized maintenance regimen for our lawn. It definitely doesnt feel like cookie cutter service. And our lawn has never looked better. He always calls at least 48 hours before a treatment and leaves us a written summary of the service he performed with any other follow up instructions. I highly recommend Ziehler Lawn and Tree Care.

Approximately two weeks ago, we used Ziehlers website to request an appointment for property evaluation and have had no response to date. When we followed up with a phone call over a week ago, we were told their sales rep would contact us within 24 hours, but have yet to be contacted.

I received a quote for lawn services on 4/12/13 after requesting one through their web site. The Quote came via email from a Sales Person who never came out to assess my current need for service. I called the following Monday 4/15/13 to discuss the quote with the sales person. I emailed, called the office, left a message on his personal cell and still no call back. I called the office again that evening and the receptionist connected me to him. He acted as though he just now knew I wanted to discuss the quote. He said he would call me back sooner than later after talking to the owner and has never called again. I went through the web site again to reach anyone who would communicate with me and I received another email stating they had not forgotten about me. It has been 6 days and I still have not received the Unmatched Customer Experience they boast of on their marketing material. I say this is a good sign to stay away from this company. Email is the only personal service Ive received to date.

They charged me for seedling my yard and didnt.. Got it on video.. But they still charged me for seeding.. Good luck. I would check other companies.. They will be my last choice...

My husband and I moved to Centerville when we retired in July of 2018 because we both have family here. I was born and raised in Ohio, left when I was 21 and was yearning to be back again someday. We found our home with much foliage, bunnys, chipmunks, birds building nests in the trees so all we needed to make our retirement dream come true was a company to take care of our property. The previous owners left a folder that is invaluable to me and one of the companies they had dealt with for years is Ziehlers. I saw one of their trucks around our neighborhood often so it didnt take much for me to decide to call and I am so glad I did. A member of their team came out within a couple of days and we went over the property. It was terrific because they have so much they can handle for us. My immediate concern was lawn services which they have for ants, fleas, & tick control, then there are tree & landscaping services covering things like bed weed control which I really love, Emerald Ash Borer and of course the pest control is invaluable with a Home Guard Pest Prevention for mosquito guard and stink bug shield. They have been just great and taken a load off of us so we are free to enjoy our property as we had hoped we would be able to. Totally unrelated and just a lol side note.....I also found a locksmith 1 mile from my house who came to let me in the house within 15 minutes of my panicked call since I was in my pajamas and that was only DAY 2! Love this adventure!

I have tried several lawn companies in the past and Ziehler has been the best. They are prompt, courteous and my lawn looks better than it ever has.

I have been a Ziehler customer for multiple years and have had some good technicians who have done thorough treatments so the service is itself is OK. But watch out for the billing practices! I dont like installments so always try to pay in full in a lump sum. This year and last I got a calls for a past due bill in early spring. Last year I thought it was possible I had made some mistake, so though I was angry, I ended up paying in full when they called me about the past due bill. It just happened again today and I asked questions and figured out what is going on. There is a provision in the agreement that auto renews the service if you fail to give notice! I certainly did not consciously sign up for the service to auto-renew and I find it doubtful that most people would be comfortable with that. Anyway, I feel that is an unethical practice and though I paid the bill, I have cancelled the service. Heads up all!
