I thought that I would give them a try as my membership at Mr. Was up however I will never go back the car was still dirrty when I got out and it was a $20 wash.

I love the carwash. I cant wait for the one to open up on the NE side. Bc I drive to Southewest side of town 2 to 3 times a week just to go here.

Only reason Im giving them 2 stars is the fact that I paid for the monthly fee.... My truck has 26 inch wheels on it, and the wheel cleaner dont clean half my rims. And it put some weird type of film on my hood. Sorry Tommys, but I expected better then this!

First time at Tommys today and got The Works wash, which is their top level wash. Really disappointed as my whole rear bumper came out looking like it hadnt been washed at all. For a $19 wash, I really expected my whole car to come out looking shiny and clean. In addition, upon inspecting my rims, they were still dusty. The wash package was supposed to include a triple wheel wash. Really? Honestly, my cars have come out of much less expensive gas station car washes a lot cleaner than this.

Been using them since I got new car, not sure if I will keep going. I can do better job myself and I think some minor damage to my car is happening here

Debated on which wash to choose. Went with the $11 package. Did a nice job. Would give 5 stars but the vacuum was terrible. Maybe just the one I chose.

I had went thru the car wash a few weeks ago all was good til the dryers then going thru the blow dryers my grill was damaged beyond repair $500 grill btw and so i made a claim during making the claim the worker that was helping admitted that upper management had adjusted the equipment and they have had alot of damages to vehicles since then just got a call today and they are refusing to repair my vehicle. Absolutely do not use this car wash if you value you car and dont want it damaged

Took my dually to this location, very pleased. Wheel rims could have been better but the rear wheels are deep. Will use again when in the area.

The wash was marked incorrectly to drive in, it tore off part of my front bumper. They wouldnt pay for the damages, offering no compensation for over $2,500 worth of damage.. dont go here.

It seems people with money to pay and NOT using the App are low class citizens... I sat in the pay line for 10 minutes for 3 cars because they were constantly trying to sign people up. We all know about the deals and the app.... take my money and let me wash my truck

Very fast service, great vacuums. Plus the vacuums are free (even if you dont purchase a wash) makes it feel like they care about the customers.

I upgraded to the $11.00 car wash due to having road dust on the back of my vehicle. After the wash, I returned to work and was extremely disappointed as my car looks almost worse than it did before. I called and expressed my concern and they stated they couldnt do anything about it because I could not bring it back the same day. Not sure why I cant take it back the next day...whats one day? Needless to say, I showed all of my co-workers and they all said they will never use that car wash based off how bad it looks and my experience. What a waste.

The gal at the pay window did not have a mask on! I have addressed this problem in a prior review a few months ago on here and Tommys Express Car Wash responded, that their employees are Covid-19 compliment which is bull! The car wash is excellent but the workers dont care about their customers when they dont wear a mask at the pay window.

Not impressed.I got “The Works” and I just got home and was so impressed how the side of my car looked but I went around to the front of my car and it was barely touched.The hood of my car was was cleaned but anything below it was barely touched.

One of the best car washes I’ve been too. They were very nice and professional off the bat. I love their mat cleaner/washers and free vacuums! Literally everything you need to have a spotless car. They also put me through the wash twice because the first one wasn’t up to their standards. Very reasonable price on top of it all!

I agreed to a promotion to get unlimited car washes for a month. Any business that has automatic renewals are courteous enough to sent notifications when your membership will be charged. I woke up to the charge on my CC.I found a link to cancel the subscription immediately but couldnt because my car was conveniently not listed in the app, so I contacted customer service to get it cancelled.As soon as I got confirmation that it was cancelled I was told that I would have to email the general manager to request a refund. He refused.I would strongly recommend against this business. Its really bad business to treat people like this. Daily lives are crazy, especially the way things are and for them to do this to people is wrong.Side note... their vacuums are horrible too.

Poor tunnel quality- The equipment fails to clean the rear of most vehicles and employees will not prep off vehicles so members with muddy cars have to run through multiple times to get a clean wash.Vacuum area is poorly maintained, most vacuums are clogged and there is never detergent in the mat washers.Employees are not required to wear masks.Employees are unprofessional and pushy to sell you a carwash subscription that the customer may not want. Previously working at Tommy’s management stressed to us that we had to sell subscriptions and did not stress the “one no policy” from customers and were trained to negotiate with the customer into buying a subscription.If your vehicle is damaged in the wash good luck getting them to repair it.Overall, the wash is decent and giving your vehicle a shine but almost always misses the rear of the vehicle as well as the wheel wells.Your vehicle will be in better hands at another wash.

Went to this location on 7/12/2020 between 6:30 & 7 pm to use a car wash I purchased in May that apparently was supposed to be added to their app. I had the receipt for the wash I bought in an email. Asked the friendly cashier if it was still good. He replied no in a very snotty manner. I asked for a refund, & again was told no very arrogantly, & that it wasnt his fault I didnt add it to the app. This has to be the worst display of customer service Ive ever experienced. Needless to say, I wont be back. There are better choices in Cedar Rapids than Tommys Express.

Very very bad service. Scratched the whole front of my car, proceeded to get pictures of it and talk to higher ups failed to call back 5 different times and then refuses to give a refund or fix any damage. Would not recommend WHAT SO EVER.

My 1st time going to this car wash it like a great car was so I was impressed at 1st but then I couldnt pay at any other lane except for the drive up window so I had to back out and go to that window because I was not a rewards member then once the car was washed I had to fix my mirrors because they folded in during the was and the back of my suv was not fully washed so I had to wipe off sum of the bumper area and also found a pretty big size scratch on my driver side door that was never there before the car wash so I just wasnt impressed but I do appreciate the free vacuum but it would be nice to have a few employees who can wipe down the inside windows and wipe down the inside dash board and outside of car because blower does not get all the water off the car

They scratched the hell out of the side of my new car and they said that they did do it. Very rude service. The only person that was nice was the cashier at the window. The other person was horrible and rude and didn’t care what happened to my new car. Also it failed to clean my whole car there was still dirt and grime everywhere. I will not come back here

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!I will never return.... I just put new personalized blackout license plates on my car. Got a free month of car washes which is great but it bent my new plates 90°. When I called Tommy Express I was told to bend them back. He said sorry. My car was damaged at this facility because of its lack of upkeep and maintenance. We used the car wash at Tommys Car wash and the guys at the windows didnt have no masks, no face shields. This car wash sure doesnt care about their customers safety. When we went to Tommys grand opening, the car wash attendents all had masks on. Things sure changed quickly.

Worst service ever . Last week i whent to the carwash and scratch my truck really bad. Whent to talk to the manager and the guy told me the it was impossible that the carwash did that.I left really mad but i let go. Today i went to the carwash again and it broke my antenna this time and my roof rack. Whent to the front window again and talk to the same guy than last week and he told me that the was normal the they wont do nothing to cover my fix. I immediately canceled the membership with them i dont know how they have employees like that hire to deal with costumer. If you love your car dont take it there!

Fairly nice wash both of the times I have been there but each time it has bent both of my license plates almost to a 90° angle.

This place is great for $40 a month Ive been through with trucks and cars never had any issues three out of the four times Ive used the vacuum they wouldnt pick stuff up but the floor mat cleaner is awesome

The car wash is ok but expensive. The vaccums barely work and are fairly useless. The mat washer doesnt actually wash or clean your mats.

I am very pleased with the car wash experience at Tommys Express. The only drawback is that I have weather tech floor liners and they cant be washed here. But everything else is flawless 😍

They say duelly friendly but had to jump the curb to pay and to the wash corners to sharp and when I went in they lined me up but ended up having to stop the car wash because I wasnt lined up
