The technician who came out to help me fix our washer was fantastic. They got me in right away. He arrived early and was very helpful. It was a small fix, but more that I was able to do on my own. He got our washer working again quickly, and our business back on track. Im not sure if his smile was part of the lampe uniform but he was a pleasure to deal with! Definitely recommend, we will absolutely call them again!

Our 13 year old Whirlpool dryer wouldn’t start. I posted on Facebook for an appliance repair service recommendation and Lampe was suggested. Called Monday morning and had an appointment by Wednesday noon. Jarad called to see if he could arrive earlier and found the issue immediately. A sensor blew because of reduced airflow. Even though the vent appeared clear he cleaned out a bucket full of lint in the 25 foot space. Very professional and courteous, highly recommended Lampe.

Doug Lampe diagnosed an igniter issue on a LG gas oven, and was able to repair on the spot. Labor and parts rates were very reasonable. We have used their Cedar Rapids family owned company before and will continue to do so in the future.

We have used Lampe Applicance Repair for over 30 years. They are always on time and know what they are doing. They have repaired my stove, my refrigerator / freezer, oven, washer and dryer over the years. I wouldnt consider contacting anyone else.

Unbelievable. Had a deep freeze he came out to look at. Looked at it for less than 5 minutes, said it was old and rusted, then charged me $90 for trip fee and diagnostics. Only use this guy if you want to get ripped off. I asked him about it and his rationale was that other services in town would have charged more.

Extremely satisfied. My first call was to Sears Appliance, because its where we bought the washer and theyd previously fixed the dryer with no problems. But this time my jaw dropped when they handed me the quote for $376.28 to replace a bad drain pump. I called around and several places told me they dont work on Samsungs, but Lampe said no problem and came the next day. They were fast, especially considering that the way the machine is built pretty much everything else had to be pulled off to get to the pump, and the bill was $194.67, so barely more than half of what Sears tried to charge.

Doug was very courtious, knowledgeable, and obviously experienced. He thoroughly explained the problem with our dishwasher and repaired it quickly. I was very relieved and grateful that he had the part that needed to be replaced amongst the inventory in his truck. I will definitely call Lampe Appliance Services for future appliance repairs.

Called Monday about my dryer they had it fixed by Wednesday. Great service and very reasonable. My buddy referred me he said they were the best. I totally agree.

We just had our refrigerator and stove fixed. it was a great experience and the serviceman was polite and quick. Of the three things that werent working correctly we had two fixed and decided against fixing the third. There was no pressure to fix it which I appreciated. I would have them out to my house again.

Came out the same day I called for my stove not working. Was friendly, knowledgable and fixed it quickly. Got right to work when he came. Very reasonable too.I have and would recommend to others in a heartbeat!

Look for an alternative, $85 for 15 minutes to tell me nothing was wrong. Nothing was said about a diagnostic charge on the telephone. I said $50 seemed more fair to no avail. Will not be calling ever again.

I was in a pinch and needed some high heat lubricant for a repair on a dryer. Talked to Doug who was not going to be around but he offered to leave me some lubricant in a drop box at his store.Will be sure to keep these guys in mind for any appliance repair in need in Cedar Rapids area going forward!
