I have used Parmer Lane Pet Hospital since it opened. Every time I call or take my pets the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I take my pets to Dr. Stein, she’s incredible and truly loves animals. She provides the best care, gives you her time, and listens to what you’re saying. She called me herself, many times, to check on my senior dog that was having some major issues. I attribute her outstanding care for the reason my dog lived another 3 years. I drive over 30 minutes one way to ensure my dogs are getting the very best care. I am grateful for Dr. Stein and Parmer Lane Pet Hospital.

When you call these fine folks and Zoe answers... your care just went up to a whole other level! Zoe treats your call as the only one shes taken all day and sometimes has a phone in each hand to make sure you are cared for!!! She is a stellar employee! I APPRECIATE YOU ZOE!

Pascha (my cat) and Izzy( before she went to doggy heaven) are always treated with such care, kindness and gentleness and the vets and technicians know what they are doing. I love this place. The Doctors and staff are the best. I love Dr Jenny Stein. I would never trust any other vet with my four girls (Maine coons). They are comforting and reassuring and rush to meet you in the parking lot to rush your furry in when urgent care is needed. They follow up with you to make sure your furry one is doing well. You are not a number with them, but part of their family. I would drive a hundred miles to them if time permitted. They are the BEST. Your pet is in good hands with Parmer Lane. I thank them for what they do.

Over the last 48 months my 2 Dogs have been regular patients of Parmer Lane Pet Hospital. I love my two dogs, exercise them daily and try to give them the best care possible.What Ive found with Parmer Lane Pet Hospital is that every interaction / visit is an attempt at maxing out costs to you. The most recent example that prompted me to write this review was one of my Dogs, who had had frequent ear infections (she has massive pretty ears), while there for a wellness check, the staff suggested we test again, for ear infection. While my dog has been tested at Parmer Lane Pet Hospital for the same, ear infection, 2-3 times, with the same symptoms, requiring the same treatment and my Dog is a well established patient, they wanted to test again of course. Now, imagine, if you went to see your PCP and you had reoccurring skin infection that is benign, been tested for many times, but they insisted on testing you again (every time) before they would provide any treatment, youd question what was the point of being an established patient and what the motives were...after the 3rd or 7th time. (both dogs get ear infections so this has been a fun game)While there are some counter arguments to this particular situation, this is a systemic experience with this company. My other dog, Lucky is a 13 year old mutt. She went in for a tooth cleaning a few years ago and it snowballed into a $2,000+ visit where the doctor found a heart murmur pre-op. Of course, youd do anything to help Dog that you can, they insisted they couldnt sedate her and she needed a full EKG. Of course, that EKG would cost another $500 or so and need to be scheduled. The EKG was later done and the results were not clear. Parmer lane then told us maybe Lucky had cancer or a mast on her spleen and suggested a MRI in multi areas, cost estimates were in the $1000s. TWO YEARS LATER, GUESS WHO IS FEELING GREAT?? YOU GUESSED IT, OLD LUCKY. :)My question to the Vet was, what is the end game to all this testing? I love my dog, but she is 13+ years old and a large breed. There was no answer to my question, just blank, guilt inducing stares.Fast forward 2 years later, yes 2 years later and we take Lucky to the same vet and amazingly, her heart murmur, somehow totally gone, the RXd medication she was given we stopped giving her. They must have forgotten (see above) the diagnosis before and offered to clean her stinky teeth. Now, Ive since given up on this organization as they have $$$$ on their minds in my opinion, based on my experience. My guess is, we would have played the same game though, they would have found something else wrong with Lucky, suggested more diagnosis that would be inconclusive and asked for more test and money with no clear end game in sight.Why skin the sheep when they can sheer it for years to come?I realize my this review is my opinion and there many people who really think this vet is great, my experiences may be unique, but Ive given this organization many chances to clarify, correct or make good on what Ive seen to be a disregard for your finances while treating your animal.Ive had my dogs and dogs before these two for many years, White Rock Vet clinic in North Austin was the opposite of this experience. They put your Dogs health first, but used common sense in dealing with testing, diagnosis and costs.I highly recommend exploring OTHER options in the Cedar Park area.

As always we feel the entire team cares for our pet. Dr. Stein has helped us in the past with our dog Duncan, who we lost a few years ago. Now with our new puppy, Ollie, she once again cared and took care of him. We appreciate the follow up calls to see how he is progressing. That personal touch is why we stay with Parmer Lane. It means a lot.

I and my baby girl Daisy was seen by caring, amazing, and wonderful Samantha Mellot. She listens to my concerns, she explained to me all that I wanted to know. She allowed me to be present at Daisy vaccines and blood procedures. And I do appreciate that so much. I always had a heart attack when my cat was taken away from me. I had a vet in San Diego who allowed me to be present at all procedures except neutering :) And I do appreciate it very very much!I got a bad experience with my previous vet clinic and I was so afraid that I got to choose a new vet again.For me, my Daisy is more than a pet, she is my baby. And I am so grateful for Samantha Mellot and her wonderful cat whisper nurse. Im sorry that I forgot her name. Highly recommended! I regret I didnt find you earlier.

Taken my animals here for the last 6 years. Always had excellant knowledgeable service. I love Dr Stein. She never pressures you into any treatment. She gives you all options with possible outcomes and their cost. Totally lets you make the decision. Truly cares for your pet almost as much as you do. Might not be the cheapest veterinarian service but well worth any extra money. Good quality is worth it.

Absolute horrible experience with this place and the care we received with my pet. The lack of accountability for their actions is laughable as we had to change vets.

I brought my dog here for a teeth cleaning and extraction. Melanie and Caleb did a great job! The service was great and I was being updated every step of the way. My dog showed no discomfort and was ready to get back to playing as normal. Definitely recommend for great service and reasonable prices :)

Doctor Bryant and vet tech Cat are AMAZING !!! So compassionate towards the animal AND the “owner”. I had a foster dog with a completely broken back leg that was at a shelter for at least five days (w/out pain meds), then taken to the rescue’s vet for xrays & pain meds, at my home for 5 days before surgery to have plate placed to connect femur bones (which ended up being a inadequate surgery) so after 2 ½ weeks of recovery and being released for 3 short walks a day – the second day he broke it AGAIN !!! The original surgeon “couldn’t” see him that day but provided pain meds & later that day scheduled surgery for the next morning at 7:45am. However, when I took him to the surgery center (arrived at 7:30am) they took him in at 7:50am for 3 minutes, brought him back and said he was in too much pain for an xray !!! They insisted I take him home and wait for them to call with plan. That was a Thursday and they were closed Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I was not waiting until MONDAY !!!! It broke on Wednesday and the poor boy was in pain AGAIN !! While in my car in their parking lot, I googled vet surgeons and called Parmer Lane out of the blue. I had never used them before and had never even heard of them. I explained to the receptionist that I was a volunteer foster with a rescue that they don’t work with but had this “emergency” and needed to speak to a vet tech. Cat (vet tech) was on the phone with me in less than 5 minutes and listened patiently to my long sad story. She said she would see if she had an emergency slots open that day and while I was on hold she saw Dr. Bryant and told her the story. Dr. Bryant said that they would see him right away and they would give him a mild sedative for the xray then refer to a surgeon to see if could be repaired & when OR if it needed to be amputated & their specialist could do the next morning. I was there in 30 minutes and they took him in right away. They xrayed him and sent to the surgeon at CTVSEH, Dr. Bryant talked with him about our options & price then called me early that afternoon with the details. She said the surgeon at CTVSEH, Dr. Kerpsack, could repair the leg with 90% success, the overview of the surgery, the overview of the recovery/rehab process, the estimated cost and that we were scheduled for first thing Monday morning if we called to confirm by 5pm. Dr. Bryant also said I could pick him up anytime and also provided an oral anti-inflammatory in addition to giving him a steroid anti-inflammatory injection after the xray. He was so much calmer due to sedative & anti-inflammatory injection that made us much calmer. AND THE LONG STORY’S ENDING IS – his surgery went perfectly, his 1 month checkup & xray was great and he was released for unlimited activity INDOORS plus leash walks, he has done 2 ½ months of his 3 month recovery and will be released for unlimited activity overall in 10 DAYS !!!! THANK YOU Parmer Lane Pet Hospital, Dr. Bryant and Cat for making sure sweet little Apple Jacks got the best care as fast and as painlessly as possible !

Dr. Melanie and her staff are great! I took my baby in for surgery and his yearly check up and the staff and vet kept in touch with me every step of the way. Great customer service, awesome bedside manner and reasonable pricing. I’m one happy pet mom.

You take care of our dog Cupcake and her boarding since we moved in the area about 8 years ago. Before that I had never seen her excited to go in to the vet. All your staff is friendly and caring. You always know who she is, always follow up with calls to check on her. Even the one time an accident happened as she was under your care, you went above and beyond to make sure she would be fine. And I was confident you would do your best for her.What I can say is that I can tell the staff truly care about the animals, and the doctors are dedicated and experienced.. This combination inspires confidence in me.

Our big 80 lb lab puppy Bella spent 4 nights at the Parmer Lane Pet Hospital for kennel boarding while we were out of town. The staff clearly loved her & she wasn’t as grumpy as usual coming home to us. We really appreciate having a great kennel for boarding that doesn’t use open animal space when we just don’t want to have anything accidentally happen with another pet while we are away. Our huge thanks to their whole team!!!

The vets, techs, and staff who work at Parmer Lane Pet Hospital are great. Theyre really caring and sweet towards my dog and theyre super communicative (calling to give updates several times while shes there since we cant go in with her due to covid) which I really appreciate. The techs and staff will really work to try and get you the best service possible, and have always been able to get her seen and treated as quickly as possible.Also, compared to the vet that my other dog had been seeing, the prices here are much more reasonable. Its expensive (as all vets rightly are), but its not extortionate like some other places in the area. Theyre able to keep costs down by running all their tests in-house, which also means that you get quicker results.Special shout out to Caleb (hope Im spelling his name right) because he was able to move up my dogs surgery so we only had to wait a week instead of a month like they had initally anticipated; he was super nice, caring, and went out of his way so that my dog could get her operation completed quickly and safely, Im really grateful.

We’ve been taking our pets here for years. All of the staff are so sweet and compassionate in addition to being excellent at what they do. Over the years we have brought in several dogs, a cat, and two birds (the birds for grooming). The staff at Parmer always goes above and beyond to care for our beloved pets.

Dr. Stein has been wonderful with her care and responsiveness with our terrier mix. The vet techs are efficient and hard working as this is a very busy practice. The front desk staff has a difficult job, juggling many calls coming in at the same time, and making your wait less unpleasant.

Just moved to Texas and had to find a vet for my dog. She is up to date on everything. I took her in for a check up. Since it was a new vet, it is obvious she would be nervous. When the vet called me from inside, she asked she is acting very scared right now, is there anything going on at home we should know about. Do I look like I abuse her? That the first negative thing I realized. The second is, my old vet use to educate me when I asked questions or explained what was going on, this vet acted like I was an idiot. Never Again.

We stumbled upon Parmer Lane Pet Hospital because they were one of the few veterinarians that offer the FAVN test for pets traveling to Hawaii. Little did we know how much wed love them! Without hesitation, we bring our dog, Ben, to see them. They are reasonably priced and guide us in his needs without suggesting unnecessary procedures. Finally, during these interesting times due to COVID-19, dropping him off for a visit we never worry hes not loved.

We always have an amazing experience all the doctors and staff. They are all so compassionate and take time to thoroughly explain everything. We couldn’t ask for better vet care!

I hadn’t been back to the pet hospital in a few years, as I have indoor cats who become hysterical when they travel, but the vet techs and Dr. Wilson calmed them by the time they were returned to me. That alone was a relief.Dr. Wilson took the time to talk through the details of her examination of them, and helped me understand those details. She wasn’t rushed, instead asking questions that made me feel like she valued my animals and my concerns.When the results of my older cat’s bloodwork were ready, she called me personally and left a detailed message, inviting me to call back if I had questions. I felt very satisfied with the care my pets received and the respect and deference l received. I’ll definitely be back.

Dr. Stein is such a wonderful and caring doctor, she was with us step by step when my 16 year old Chihuahua, Pico, took a turn for the worse after a couple of years having issues with his heart. She walked with us the entire way, never gave up on trying different medications to help ease his pain and always kept in touch with us until we had to make the decision it was time to let him go, which was one of the most difficult decisions I ever had to make, I didnt want to let him go, but in the end I knew we had done everything we possibly could for him thanks to Dr. Stein and that gave me tremendous peace. I will always be grateful to her and the entire team at Parmer Pet Hospital for being so helpful, supportive and kind, during our long journey with Pico. Hands down one of the best Vet’s offices I’ve ever visited. We have been going here for 8 years and it cannot recommend them highly enough. They are experts on dogs and seek to find the answers and will call personally when they have a new thought or suggestion. They also call and followup as promised and after certain amount of time to just checkin. Not the staff but the Dr’s themselves. Absolutely loved this place. Looked through many clinics to find a vet I liked and this one was perfect. All the staff is super nice. Dr. Bryant was so helpful and nice. I felt that she truly cared for my puppy. She was very knowledgeable, and explained everything I asked very thoroughly. I have been taking my pets (dogs and cats) to Dr Campbell for 34 years. his Clinic was Anderson Mill AnimalClinic for many years and then he opened Parmer Lane several years back after his partner retired.I really love the attention and loving treatment my animals have had over the years.They always are very gentle with the pups, and thorough. Visiting the Vet is not an animal’s favorite activity, but the technicians and vets are so kind and you just know they’re giving the best care possible. It’s a great clinic, and I am very happy with it. Recommend highly!

My family has been taking pets to Dr. Campbell since the 1980s. He has always treated our pets and us with the utmost in compassion, giving us honest assessments and recommendations. Recently we have made appointments with Dr. Stein, who has also been fantastic.Over the years we have taken numerous dogs, cats, and even a rat to the clinic. One day I had the opportunity to observe and assist Dr. Campbell in surgery for a day. His manner and genuine empathy were apparent in everything he did.

I absolutely love Dr. Campbell. I have known him for over 40 years and he is compassionate and so kind. He has cared for and had to euthanize several of our pets and was always so gentle and loving. I have seen Dr. Stein twice as well, and liked her knowledge and bedside manner. Not wild about Dr. Wilson. I continue to go there with our two dogs and one cat now. I just pick the vet that sees them. :D

Brought our cat in for a routine procedure and walked out with a small dog. I never really liked the cat anyway. Staff is great, checkin was smooth and they have a drive-thru! I have only used the drive thru once to drop off a fecal sample, try doing that at McDonalds.

Extremely professionally run. Having our dog seen on the same day was not an issue. Dr. Stein was so thorough in explanations and her follow up call was greatly appreciated.

Been with this place for a long time, usually helped by Dr. Campbell or Dr. Stein. Went in for an appointment and was helped by Dr. Wilson for the first time. Arrogant and proud vet. Did not like when questions were asked. Seemed to be very defensive, and inconsistent with responses. Make sure to ask questions if you cant help but get Dr. Wilson, she may act rudely, but she wont tell you much info otherwise. Recommend Dr. Campbell and Dr. Stein instead. Very polite and know how to communicate well in comparison. They collaborate with patients unlike other vet. Giving four stars for other staff.

I take my elderly parents cat Cookie for her check ups. She is not a friendly cat and hisses and meows and growls at the staff. They are awesome with her. I recommend them to everyone.

Had a bad experience at Heart Of Texas Specialty Veterinary Clinic so went to Parmer Lane Veterinary Clinic, our regular veterinary office. The necessary blood work was done immediately by the technician. Got the results same hour and were referred to a new clinic within the hour. Thank you for the uplifting experience. You are so very kind in comparison to the people at that other place.
