We broke down 20 miles north of Casper with our Diesel and 5th wheel. Mad Towing arrived quickly and towed us into Turbo and Diesel Service on Friday afternoon. Mac looked our truck over and said he thought he could fix it. What a relief to have him work on it and find the source of the computer going out. He worked over time on a Friday night to have it ready for us to get back on the road on Saturday morning. We HIGHLY recommend Mac as a proficient mechanic and his customer service was over the top. Thanks Turbo and Diesel. Casper - be proud of this business in your community!
Mac has worked on my truck twice for two different issues. Both times he was quick to diagnose the issue and get it repaired. I feel that his pricing is very good and will continue to use him for any issues.
The business is a disgrace to the wyoming business community. They dont warrenty any of their work. They just keep saying in a day or two to work on your vehicle .Until you finally take to a honest shop. RUN FROM THIS CON MAN!!!
I had a set of injectors tested at Turbo and Diesel Services. The turn around times was great. I mailed the injectors on a Friday and had them back the next Friday. I will definitely use them again.
Family owned and operated. Great service and staff. Great place for parts and service on RVs. Owners daughter raises alpacas and sells them(first in WY).
We send all our injectors for our customers here to get testing. Quick turn around, easy to work with, and honest.
Mac was very helpful & half the price that Ford quoted. I appreciate all of his help & good service. I would recommend him & his business.
Very knowledgeable about diesel pickup repair. Great people to work with
Hi, if your reading this after doing business at Turbo&Diesel, you already know how most of their victims feel.I dropped off an injector pump for my backhoe to have repaired and he told me that it would be 2 to three weeks. After the three weeks had gone by, I decided I would check on the outcome of the injector pump. The pump was in pieces and he had ordered parts, he told me it would be next week. I waited and went back the next week, he had the parts and he said he would have it ready for me next week, this was on Monday, Thursday of the next week, I decided that it should be done and he probably forgot to call, I went back and he said the he had a lot of people ahead of me and that is the way it is. I wanted my pump back and asked him to put in a box so I could have someone else do the repair. He said I had to pay for the parts he had ordered and the labor. There is a trust factor when it comes to something like getting my pump out of hostage.. I lost all trust with this business and decided that buying my pump back (not knowing if it would be my parts or pump)for $850 wasnt worth it. I walked out, he still has my pump. Phone calls dont work, talking in person doesnt work, being patient doesnt work. There are other business try them first, even if they are out of state. Not customer friendly at all.
Talk about fast and good service this is the place. and they helped when we just showed up broke down fast as heck and got us moving again thanks again you guys are amazing
I cant believe this place is still in business. The review that Gallagher posted sounds almost like my experience from May 2013. My truck was in his shop for 9 weeks to repair the blown head gaskets. I could not get the owner to call me back when I left a message with one of his employees, and he always had a lame excuse as to why he was not working on my truck when I remained on hold, so I could talk directly to him. When I finally got to pick up my truck, I had to give him a cashiers check. I can only assume that he thought that I would put a stop payment on a personal check. The head gasket problem was fixed, but there was a dramatic loss in power and the fuel economy was was only 14mpg on the highway, down from 20mpg. He would not provide any type of warranty because I had installed a Banks Power System to the truck. I found this unusual because the Ford warranty was still good with the Banks system installed. Everyone should avoid this business. I was so discussed with the repair work, I traded the truck off 4 months after the work had been finished.
Mac Cutright can never be reached. I have left him many notes to call me about my truck and I understand that the business can be busy but, to not get a call back for two weeks? Come on. He was a bit rude to me when I called him after the third week of my truck being there and me not getting a reply. He mentioned something about me calling all the time is the reason he cant get anything done. To my knowledge nothing had been done on my truck and I had dropped it off on the day it was scheduled. I told him I was coming to get my truck and he was also a bit rude in his tone. There was a pile of work orders on top of mine. I am not at all pleased with the service I received. I would recommend going somewhere else even if it is a little more expensive.
If it were possible to rate as less than one star, I would. Check the BBB site. Despite this place having an A+ rating, the only reviews there are negative.Im not sure if the owner Mac is a liar, lazy, or just dumb. I hate to be so harsh, but after thinking about it, those are really the only choices. He had my vehicle for 7 weeks. He was impossible to get on the phone, and never returned a single message. Over the 7 weeks my vehicle was there, I did manage to speak to him on the phone 3 times. He stated in each of these conversations that he had driven my vehicle, and that it just wasnt doin what I said it was doin. I found this extremely hard to believe given how it was running when I dropped it off, but had no reason at this point to think the man was just flat out lying. During the first of these phone conversations, we decided on a course of action to take with vehicle. I waited another week and a half, and didnt hear anything, so I called back. When I finally got a hold of the guy, nothing had been done, and we ended up having the same conversation as the first time. I waited another week or so, left a few more messages to try and get a hold of the guy, none of which were returned. After 4 or 5 attempts, I did finally reach Mac, and what do you know....we began the same conversation that we had already had 2 previous times. I finally gave up in frustration, and told him I was just coming to pick it up. When I arrived to get my vehicle, they had trouble locating the keys. They were buried under at least a months worth of paperwork on a desk, so it was obvious that no one had had them for quite some time, despite the fact that Mac had said he had been driving it, and he just couldnt get it to do what I said it was doin. I get it my truck, start it up, and what do you know....I experienced the same symptom that I had brought it in for three times before I got a half mile away from the shop. So again, that brings me to my conclusion that the owner is either a flat out liar, lazy, or dumb. Those are really the only possible explanations. I would recommend that this place be avoided at all costs. I never thought I would be saying this, but I would rather pay the extra $10-$15 an hour labor at a dealership than ever attempt to deal with these people again.
