Waxing the City at Parkside in Cary, NC was my first time ever waxing experience. My cerologist Marissa is a true professional. She listened to what services I wanted and what results I desired. Marissa thoroughly explained the waxing process to me and was very attentive to my needs and concerns during the session. I was very pleased with Marissas waxing services and will definitely be a repeat client of hers. I recommend Marissa and Waxing the City in Cary to anyone in search of waxing treatments, especially if its your first experience.

This was my first time going to Waxing the City and I had the pleasure to work with Amanda. I received the Brazilian Wax service and she did an amazing job. Amanda was very gentle and made the experience a breeze! She is also very knowledgeable about what she does. I will definitely be a returning customer! The facility was very clean and they are following proper COVID-19 protocols which is a big deal for me.

The front desk was a pleasure & the place was clean ✨ but I’m here to praise DAWSON! 😂 She made me feel comfortable & at ease before she even started. She was so down to earth & sweet. I told her my concerns & she assured me I would be fine. The process was quick & less painless than I thought a Brazilian wax would be. AMAZING! The staff at this location are professionals, super nice and fun. Everyone makes you feel at home and very comfortable- no matter which service you are getting. They follow strict COVID rules now and assure your safety. The decor is very city like- the studio and private rooms are super clean. It is such a great and relaxing experience- almost spa like! I HIGHLY recommend this waxing studio in Cary!!

This is the best waxing that I have ever had. I have only had maybe 5-6 waxes before so I am fairly new to it, but I did not experience no where near the amount of pain as I did when I went elsewhere. My experience was this: it was quick and almost painless (yes, there is some discomfort more so in certain areas but it was not bad). My assistant was very personable and made me feel comfortable; really she kept my mind off of the waxing. I have already scheduled my next appointment because they were so professional and nice and above all clean.

Ive never had a painful wax here, and Im usually pretty sensitive. Everyone seems super glad to be there, and there is a very calm, relaxing, atmosphere. The facility is more professional looking than some other places. Im really happy with my results. Hannah is super awesome. I hear theyre super busy on Saturdays. Schedule accordingly!

I have been going here for several months after being referred through friends. Very clean, professional, and comfortable environment. I see Bethany and she is very good at what she does Waxing sensitive areas painlessly and being very thorough. She made my first time very comfortable and Ill keep coming back!!

I was a little nervous when I was told I would have to the hard wax for my Brazilian (Ive had horrible experiences in the past) but Paige was absolutely AMAZING! It was nothing like Ive ever experienced. I was so impressed I ordered the 1st time visit package for 12 more waxes and promptly recommended her to a close friend!

Me and a couple of my buddies have a monthly Saturday outing to get cleaned up at Waxing The City. All the girls are great and make us feel very comfortable. The staff are all professional but very laid back and fun. We wouldnt go anywhere else and encourage other guys to give them a try.

Had Paige and she was absolutely amazing! Was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and she couldnt have made me more comfortable. So thankful Waxing the City was able to squeeze us in after European Wax Center turned as away because we drove to the wrong location and were a few minutes late (drove over 1.5 hour to our appointment). I really wanted to like this place as Salina was so super sweet. However, after a chin wax yesterday my face was burned leaving a mark. I realized this when looking in the mirror in my car. I went back in and the reception was apologetic and offered me some after care cream. When I got home I really saw it around my lower cheek/side of my mouth. I think she was trying to get hair in an area that wasn’t properly prepped. I’ve been getting waxed for 20 years and can only recall one time being burned with a novice esthetician. I know it wasn’t intentional just super bummed to have this on my face and a lot of hairs left in general. I will cancel my next appt.

I have been a patron since they opened. Since I work as a RN, I was recently told I am not welcomed to receive services because “ we want to protect the health of our customers & staff”. So just FYI, healthcare providers are not welcomed here.

For 4 years I went to European Wax Center to get waxed by Karen Salinas, she recently left and is now at Waxing the City (Cary Location). Even though the commute is longer for me, she is worth the drive! She is excellent at what she does AND the wax is much better then EWCs!!! You must go see Karen.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Clean place. Never before did I not hurt during waxing! If you are trying waxing for the first time this is a must go!

I went to Raleigh originally with two other girls to go to European Wax center from South Hill va. That is an hour and a half drive from our town. We had gotten the coordinates incorrect to where we were supposed to go and arrived late and they cancelled our appointments. We called EVERYWHERE and thankfully Waxing The City had an opening for all of us. This being our first wax we were all incredibly nervous but the receptionist and the owner greeted us warmly and openly and answered any crazy question we had. Paige was the one who waxed all of us and made us feel incredibly comfortable and she did an amazing job. Waxing the City made our impromptu girls trip unforgettable and we will most definitely be making this a monthly thing from now on.

I love Waxing the City and I love my waxer Anna!! Anna has exclusively been my waxer for the last 3 years and I have yet to find any reason to stray! In fact I followed her from her last location and am thoroughly impressed every time I visit. Waxing the City is CLEAN and comfortable, which is huge for me given the services preformed and everyone Ive come in contact with is so friendly and helpful! I am VERY particular about my brows and normally dont trust anyone but myself to do them so it says a lot that I put much faith in someone else. I also really appreciated not feeling rushed, which Ive gotten from other waxing centers.
