Getting my eyebrows done by Myrtle was the best decision I have made. She made me feel comfortable and was very kind and gentle.

Good pricing but you get what you pay for. I switched technicians after about 8 months of being with Myrtle and she advised me that a lot of the hairs look like they’ve never been treated. A lot of my hair was plucked out instead of treated while I was with her.

Myrtle is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She is easy to talk to and honest about what to expect, short and long term. Electrolysis has truly been a positive change in my life and I am very happy that I made the call to Myrtle!!

I have been having electrolysis at Electrolysis by Myrtle for just over a year now. In the beginning the appointments were over one hour. Now I have 15 minute treatments every other week. This has been a wonderful experience. I now cannot image life without electrolysis. This has been the solution for permanent hair removal for me. She is the best

I will have to disagree with the other reviews, Ive been going there for a little over a year with great results, I havent had to shave at all since I started, I never had any bleeding, Ive even fell asleep a few times during the treatments. She knows how to control the current so that it isnt painful, it is normal for some people to bleed from overly dry pores, or if you had too much caffeine before treatment.People who actually done their research before beginning the treatment would have known that you should be well hydrated before your treatments, and sometimes if you have two hairs out of the same pore, there might be some bleeding when youre trying to pull them out, you just have to know that it might happen, Ive been to three different electrologists before, and I felt like Myrtle really knows what shes doing.Its really sad that the other reviewers had to use her age as an excuse, when I think it should be the opposite, shes a very skilled professional, and I would rather have someone with over a decade of experience take care of my facial hair.I hope other people will appreciate her knowledge and experience too.

I have been seeing Myrtle for hair removal and she is great. I completely trust her with all my hair removal needs. She makes you feel very comforatable during the procedure with great results.

Ive been going to Myrtle on and off for treatment for several years and have had great results. I used to have dark facial hair above my lip and on my chin and now most of it is permanently gone - and I was even able to stop going for a few years. I started back to Myrtle over a year ago because I had new hairs sprouting (one of the joys of being over 50) and during each appointment she takes good care of me and makes sure I am satisfied before she finishes the session. The pain is minimal and Ive had no bad after effects other than a little redness that lasts for an hour or so and then fades. She is pleasant to work with, very professional, and flexible when I need to reschedule. I have recommended her to several friends and will keep going myself.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I would also add that it felt like my hairs were being plucked, which is not how its supposed to feel. I had scabs afterwards that never healed right. I now have pitting and hypo-pigmentation.

I was unhappy with the service. I asked for my eyebrows to be trimmed up and instead of just removing the stragglers, Myrtle removed a section of nearest my nose on the left side, missed several obvious ones closer to my nose and didnt make the eyebrows even. Also, when Myrtle thought she was finished, she handed me a mirror and I kept insisting she get the very obvious ones she had missed. We repeated that process a few times. I asked if she had another appointment after me and she responded yes but, honestly by the time I was ready to leave, no one had arrived and I felt as though she was tired and just wanted to get me out.On a minor note, the home studio was not air conditioned and I was uncomfortable. I wish I had read the review more in-depth rather than just looking at the overall reviews because in Myrtles self-review, she gave herself a five-star review. Without her self-glowing review, her rating drops from 3.4 to 2.2.
