I have been going to see Dana for a couple years now. Dana is great! She is very knowledgeable in her profession. She always made me feel at ease before and during the procedures and explained any questions I had. I was happy with my results! Even during the pandemic, I felt safe, the office was clean and they went above and beyond the required protocols. I highly recommend her if laser hair removal is what you are looking for.

My daughter came here for laser on her upper lip and it was a terrible experience. The laser left very dark discoloration on her upper lip for weeks after each session and didn’t reduce any hair growth. My daughter decided to stop going after the third session because it was so bad. When she addressed this issue with Dana, she acted as if it was no big deal and told her she cant keep “looking in the mirror too much.” We thought maybe my daughter’s skin just wasnt suited for laser hair removal. A few months later she decided to try another place (Milan Laser) and had a wonderful experience there. It was much less painful and she has not been experiencing the discoloration after sessions. It is also a much more pleasant and professional experience. Not sure what Dana’s laser did but I definitely do not recommend coming here.

This is by far the best place Ive had electrolysis and Ive seen practitioners in 2 states and 4 cities. The results, cleanliness of the facility, and staff put Corlase heads and shoulders above the competition. I dont understand how anyone would have any issues with Dana. Not only is she very good at what she does, but shes smart, chatty, and friendly making appointments fly by.If you are looking for electrolysis, this place is the best in the Raleigh area. To be fair, this is the safest and most effective place in town. But dont go unless you are an evangelical Christian because you will be subjected to all kinds of talk about Jesus by the owner. Consistently, and in that arrogant way that implies you are damned if you dont believe what she does and how superior she is in all ways. Avoid at all costs.

I chose Dana because she was upfront regarding the process, the time frame, the cost and was willing to take the time to answer my questions and educate me regarding electrolysis. After seeing Andrea for over a year, I can say that it works. I went more often at first and now my visits are much less frequent as a lot of the unwanted hair is gone and, now we get rid of new hairs that come in (much slower than before). Dana has changed my life. I had resigned myself to a future of daily secret hair removal due to PCOS and thyroid problems. This took me an hour per day, and was huge hassle, but necessary. It was something I had to be aware of throughout my day. Now I can actually get on with other things. Electrolysis is amazing- yes, it hurts, but its completely worth the discomfort (it is permanent, too), and Dana makes you as comfortable as possible- plus, she is thorough, fast, and totally competent. She will get every little bugger that needs to be gotten that session- and quickly- and shell do it again when new ones pop up later. I am very happy... probably just a couple more sessions, and my main problem area will be taken care of. I have had zero complications or concerns- only positive outcomes. I found Corlase about a year ago. The idea of laser hair removal always lingered in the back of my mind. I am a female over 6 feet tall and have struggled with dark facial hair since I was a teenager. As a teenager, I spent hours pulling out each hair on my face and neck. The magnified lighted mirror was my most trusted confidant and hated advisor. On days when I was too tired to literally face myself in the mirror, I used Nair for Face in the wee hours before school. Always hiding, always ashamed. In college, I started shaving my face after the task of waxing it became too much. So Dana is who you need to see first of all and another thing this is my first time and I drove almost 2 hours and it is what I thought it would be. Dana is this sweet and professional woman that you must meet and to have the experience with getting your legs done or any other body part done she is very professional about and will take care of you. Before I even started my journey she explained in detail before I called and what sold it was her professionalism and how nice she was. I felt very comfortable with her and the price was right on my budget too. She will also explain in detail for the after care and the progress. I thought I put a review in here, maybe it was yelp. I was not happy with the service at all. When I first went to the consultation, I was left waiting for a long time, never greeted and wasn’t sure I was in the right place. I almost left, but she emerged just in time. She told me that I should wait until the winter and they would call me to schedule something later. They never called, no biggie. So I made an appointment and went in for my first treatment. The price was high, about $400 for the one treatment. Still, not a problem, but I had looked into it in other places and the cost was much lower (that price for 3-6 treatments). She was a fast talker and broke down the math which I was thinking was the cost for all of the treatments together. She said it should take 2-3 sessions. So, later at home I was thinking about it. I had looked at her website pricing before and thought something was off... it just seemed high. Yep. The price she quoted me was way more than the prices listed. I understand a business needs to make money, but the website price list should be changed before the new prices are given to the customers. It just felt like (with the fast talking and price changing) that she was trying to “swindle” me. $400 for a 15 min procedure seems high, but I would have paid it gladly had I not felt taken advantage of.As for the quality, It was good in the areas she touched, but she didn’t hit every spot; sort of jumped around leaving some places untouched. So I felt that the fast talking, mixed with the price changes, mixed with the job not being done thoroughly meant I should look for someplace new. I did call before I canceled my second appointment to clarify the situation. The only response I got was that she told me the price and the prices online were incorrect because the prices had just changed. ...After making me wait 6 months to book the appointment which would have been under the old prices. I would have thought a better way would have been to honor the internet pricing at least for that one session. Even an acknowledgement of wrong doing or something. Again, it wasn’t the cost, but the customer service.

I am very happy with my experience at Cary Hair Removal. Years ago I had laser treatments that only served to make my situation worse, much worse. I was very nervous about any type of hair removal and contacted Dana regarding electrolysis. I would never have thought I would have tried laser again. She convinced me to give it another try. Her pricing is broken down on the site, however if you want her to do extra, please go in with the understanding that you will pay extra! That was such money wasted for 6 sessions that did NOTHING! Dana wants you to have a great experience and see great results She told me to wait until after summer to get anything lasered on my face, I trust her judgement as a professional and I will wait. It makes sense, if my skin is darker bc of all the sun Ill get, the laser wont be as effective.Ultimately, you get what you pay for. If you want it done exactly how and when you want it and you just want to go to a place that says yes to everything you want at a cheap price.... this is not the place for you. If you want a professional, who knows what theyre doing and is actually a licensed professional in this field- dont hesitate to book the appointment. Like I mentioned before, I had given up on laser hair until now. You see immediate results and Dana will tell you what to expect throughout your sessions.

They claim to be the #1 in laser hair removal, but I was denied service because my skin is “too dark” or as Dana was saying “too black”. I didn’t know my skin tone was black which is the color of a crayon. Definetly not black as a crayon color.

I have been going to Corlase for over a year now. Their technicians are extremely well trained and knowledgable and their laser and techniques top of the line. I have been extremely happy with my results. I had one area lasered and the results were so good that I bought two additional areas. This is not a medspa... Dana (the owner) has a top of the line laser and is extremely knowledgable in the safety and use of it. I have had excellent results and no side effects from the treatments.They use to use a service to handle appointments which is what the other reviewer is talking about but abandoned it immediately when they were not providing good services. No, there is not a huge sign above their business but if you go to the exact address - that is their office. They share an office with a chiropractor. Its really not hard to find - not sure why the other reviewer had such issues?I would highly recommend using Corlase for permanent hair removal.
